When we all moved on from Impulse and Charlie sprays, we thought we'd be moving up to the more mature fragrances… until we found out they cost around 100 quid each.

Yep, it ain't cheap to smell nice.

We resort to buying perfumes and expensive sprays for birthdays and Christmas, but after that, we basically go back to Impulse every single time.

But now, Tom Ford has released body sprays, and it's like the midway point between Impulse and Chanel.

Coming in around €50, they promise to last longer on the skin than their competitor sprays.

The Tom Ford All Over Body Sprays will be available from March 31 and we're all going to be smelling like superstars.

You can't beat the Irish humour.

We take the mick out of anything, and basically go roundabout ways of explaining things.

Well, this Dublin comedian, Emma Doran, decided to ask her dad all about aul fella language – and the outcome was pretty funny.

From phrases such as 'grand', which means your dad just doesn't want to talk to you, to telling you 'ask your mother', which means he doesn't want to be bothered, there's a lot of hidden meanings.

And frankly, most of them just mean he wants you to leave him alone.

Have a watch of Emma's video and let us know if your dad speaks 'aul fella language'.

No matter how hard we try, we always come back to Tinder to browse through potential baes.

There are many things that every girl sees every time they open the dating app, from GAA heads to unsolicited d*** pics, but one girl uncovered something pretty amazing while looking for a hookup.

Natalia was browsing through the boys on the app when she stumbled upon Jared.

Rather than relying on a cheesy chat up line or a headless abs picture to secure a date, Jared opted for something a little more creative.

Jared is clearly living his best life on the app, as he set up a creative, swipe-able photo set that would definitely make us swipe right.

The fist picture shows Jared holding a dart, the second shows him throwing it, and the third shows the dart hitting its target, our hearts (cue the "awwwww").

Natalia was obviously impressed by Jared's innovative approach to Tinder, and shared his profile across social media, which has since gone viral, with over 100,000 retweets and almost 300,00 likes.

We're sure that Jared's Tinder is blowing up right now!

It looks like Apple users will now be able to pay by cash, card… or phone.

Yep, Apple Pay launches in Ireland today after test trials were carried out in the US and the UK.

And the US and UK users seemed to be pretty happy with the new feature, as it saw a 79 per cent satisfaction rate.

It seems like a lot of businesses are also hoping on board with the new method, as Dunnes Stores, SuperValu, Lidl, Aldi, Centra, Marks and Spencers, Insomnia, Apple Green, Boots and Harvey Norman have all signed up to offer the service to customers.

Ulster Bank’s Director of Customer Experience and Products Maeve McMahon said “Customer-centric innovation is really important to Ulster Bank, and Apple Pay will make mobile payments even easier for our customers.

"They will be able to pay for goods and services anywhere contactless payments are accepted, using their iPhone 6 or later or Apple Watch.

"We know from talking to them that they’re really excited about this announcement and that it’s an important part of our drive to be the number one bank for customer service, trust and advocacy.”

It seems like this could be the way forward.

He can act, he can dance and he can write a book?!

Yep, Joe Manganiello is basically the man of all our dreams, but he's happily married to the wonderful Sofia Vergara, so sadly for us, that ship has sailed (not that it was ever in our dock anyway).

In a recent interview with Cosmo, Joe said that his Magic Mike fame still has people asking him to dance in public.

A post shared by Joe Manganiello (@joemanganiello) on

"People always ask me to demonstrate my Magic Mike moves for them," he told the site.

I have to tell them I'm not actually a stripper. But that's the fun thing about acting – doing something that really isn't you."

And apart from being incredibly gorgeous, Joe is also a bit of a romantic and wrote his wife a BOOK for their one-year wedding anniversary.

"I wrote her a book as a gift for our first anniversary. It was about how we met, as well as our courting, and was about 40 pages long… I love my wife a lot."

SMH, we can't even get a text…

In an Instagram post which has amassed almost 100,000 likes in just 15 minutes, Chrissy Teigen has revealed that she has been suffering from postpartum depression.

Alongside a black and white shot of herself, the much-loved model thanked Glamour magazine for allowing her to share her experience, and told her followers that she is relieved to have been able to open up about the issue.

31-year-old Chrissy, who welcomed baby Luna in 2016, wrote: "I'll just say it: I have post partum depression. So much love to @glamourmag for letting me share something that was eating me up inside for months and months."

While acknowledging her popularity on social media, Chrissy admitted that she was apprehensive about sharing her experience despite her notably candid demeanour.

"One of the most amazing things about social media is the ability to interact candidly with friends and fans and it felt so weird knowing what I was going through but not really feeling like it was the right place to speak on it," she wrote.

I have dreamed of this day!

A post shared by chrissy teigen (@chrissyteigen) on

"I've always felt genuinely close to all of you and I'm insanely relieved you now know something that has been such a huge part of me for so long."

In the essay published in the popular magazine, Chrissy wrote: "I know I might sound like a whiny, entitled girl. Plenty of people around the world in my situation have no help, no family, no access to medical care."

"I can’t imagine not being able to go to the doctors that I need," she added.

Chrissy's post has been inundated with messages of support from fans and followers, with one writing: "I felt so bad that you felt the need to apologize because you're "famous" which is bs because you're still human and allowed to have a mental illness."

While she still has ‘rough days’, Chrissy insists is improving every day.

President Donald Trump has today signed a revised version of his controversial travel ban.

The revised ban will halt entry to the United States to individuals from six Muslim-majority countries who are currently seeking new visas.

According to a fact sheet obtained by The Associated Press, the revised order imposes a 90-day ban on people from Sudan, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia and Yemen, but does not apply to those who already have valid visas.

It is understood that the revised order, which was signed by President Trump today, excludes Iraq after advisors highlighted Iraq’s role in combating terror group ISIS.

Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Attorney General Jeff Sessions formally unveiled the new edict today.

In keeping with his decisions to sign most executive orders in private, President Trump signed the measure without news organisations present today.

The order will take effect on March 16.

Healthy, cheap, filling, office-friendly: soups are your best friend if you want to avoid the dreaded Sad Desk Lunch.

And even if there are plenty of nice options in the shop, they will never be as good as the one you make yourself. You can trust us on this, there is nothing as easy to make as a big batch of soup that will last you a whole week!

The great thing about soup is that it is quite hard to mess up. If you just buy what is in season – and usually, on offer – peel it, cover it with water and let it cook gently, you will definitely end up with a delicious soup.

But for those afraid to try, don't worry, we have you covered with these 3 foolproof recipes.

  • 10g butter
  • Pepper to taste

In a large saucepan, melt the butter and cook the spring onions for 2 minutes.

Add the courgettes, potatoes and stock cube and cover with water.

Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer.

Cook for about 20 minutes, until vegetables are soft.

Blend and serve topped with freshly ground pepper and grated parmesan.

Spicy butternut squash soup

  • 1 garlic clove, roughly chopped
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 stock cube
  • Sour cream to serve

In a large saucepan, melt the coconut and fry the onion, garlic and ginger for about 3 minutes.

Add the butternut squash, carrots, stock cube, turmeric and cayenne pepper and cover with water.

Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer and cook for about 20 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.

Blend and serve, topped with a dollop of sour cream if desired.

Are you a big fan of Vera Wang Princess perfume? Or do you consider it the scent of your youth?

We can all recall that fruity floral scent that made everyone feel like a Disney Princess when they wore it.

Well ladies, get ready to have your mind blown.

You all know what the bottle looks like, right? A heart shaped glass with a gorgeous bejewelled crown for a lid.

But did you know that your favourite perfume actually comes with a RING? We had no idea.

When you take off the adorable tiny crown, you can actually remove the bottom half, to reveal your glorious new ring.

Now it may not be your style, and it may not fit you (fingers come in different shapes and sizes), but a free ring is a free ring.

This discovery was originally made by Cosmopolitan's Laura Capon, when she was trying out Vera Wang's newest Princess scent, which is dubbed Princess Of Hearts.

Honestly, we got way more excited about this discovery than we care to admit.

Did you know about this free ring?

According to emerging reports, a woman has been stopped at Dublin Port after officials discovered she was carrying four pugaleer-type puppies in her hand luggage.

The woman, with an address in Scotland, was boarding a ferry bound for Holyhead when she was stopped in the capital.

Unable to produce any documentation for the animals, the woman, who explained that she had bought the dogs from an online seller, was forced to place the puppies in the care of the DSPCA.

As it stands, Irish and UK law state that any dogs being transported between Irish and the UK must possess an up-to-date Pet Passport with records of vaccinations, microchips and veterinary certificate.

It has been established that the DSCPA are investigating the incident, and have advised the public that the animals are not up for adoption as of yet.

Taking to their Facebook page, the organisation highlighted the incident with the public, writing: "This seizure brings to light once again the issues surrounding the sale and origins of puppies bought in the Republic of Ireland."

"The DSPCA strongly believe that the origin of all puppies and dogs should be declared and be verifiable," they added in a post which contained photographs of the four animals at the centre of the incident.

The world is divided into two kinds of people.

There are those who –  when facing into six long weeks of Lent without sugar –  will avoid anything that might trigger a craving, and then there are those who will trawl Instagram and tantilise themselves with images of sugary works of art.

Ladies, we fall firmly into the second camp.

Six days into our Lenten Promise, we've sought solace on the world wide web, and are currently salivating over cupcakes that look like cactuses.

Don't judge us, because you'll soon be salivating too.
