We all remember Louis and Zayn's infamous Twitter spat of 2015, right?

The former One Direction bandmates famously fell out after Zayn Malik abruptly quit the group in the middle of a world tour, and one of the greatest bromance of our time came to an untimely end.

Digs were made, shade was thrown, and let's face it, things got pretty awkward for a while.

However, that's all in the past, and fans will be delighted to know that the feuding friends are finally “mates again.”

Speaking on Andy Cohen Live earlier this week, Louis Tomlinson opened up about where he and Zayn stand some two years after their headline-making fall out.

“We got back in touch with each other and kind of cleared the air and talked everything through. So we're mates again, I suppose,” he said.

“Like anything like that, it takes time. But it was nice that we had an opportunity to clear the air and be adults about it, I suppose.”

The admission comes after Louis revealed that his late mother, Johannah Deakin, urged him to reconnect with his old friend, insisting “life's too short.”

"My mum said, 'You've got to get back in contact with Zayn. Life's too f–king short. A mother's intuition is just f–king crazy. It always felt supernatural to me. My mum always knew what I was feeling and what I wanted,” he said told The Sun earlier last month.

Now that they have put all that bad blood behind them, we're hoping the guys can re-establish their tight bond, and perhaps even work together in the future.

Let’s face facts, the vast majority of us are creatures of habit, and generally tend to hit up the same venues, week in and week out.

From the handy after-work local to the same-old Saturday night spot, it’s easy to get stuck in a rut when it comes to socialising.

So, when you and the squad do happen to hit upon a new venue, it’s hardly surprising you act like you’ve discovered fire.

From feeling smug over the new discovery to regretting the times you've wasted in the same old spots, finding a new venue lights a fire under any group of friends.

And here are just 8 things we’ve all thought while taking in the splendour of a new spot.

1. “This is the kick up the arse we needed, lads.”

Whether it's the decor, the tunes or the atmosphere, stumbling upon a brand-new spot is invigorating and makes you reassess every other spot you've frequented up until this point.

"Can you believe we actually used to pass this place, and never once thought to look in?!"

2. "This place will totally overhaul how we spend our weekends."

Considering you're all a few drinks in, you'll start to see the new spot as some kind of offering from above, and endlessly list its amazing attributes.

"Girls, Number 22 has a Flashback Friday! Wait, wait, it also has a Peep Show Sunday!"

3. "I can’t believe we spent hours jostling for one lousy drink in that other hellhole."

The discovery of a new bar can bring out a fickle side in you that you're not exactly proud of, but you can't help it.

Up until three hours ago, your former local was your favourite place on earth, but with the mention of Number 22, its Library Bar and their 2 for €12 cocktails, you've forgotten the other places even exist.

4. "Just think how slick this is going to look on Instagram."

You know how naff it sounds, but your Instagram account will thank you for a snap of a place as swish as this.

With Burlesque dancers performing in the background and countless incredible-looking cocktails in the foreground, your new hotspot is just crying out to get 'grammed.

5. "I can wait to show the out-of-towners how we roll up here."

If you and the girls think this place is swish, just imagine how your pals from out of town will react.

"That's it; every birthday, engagement party and Hen night is taking place here from now on. That's the end of it."

6. "Wait, maybe we should keep it a secret."

Mere moments after you decide to splash the place all over social media. you wonder if you should have just kept it secret.

"Wait, wait, wait. Delete them all – I don't want anyone else to know about this!"

7. "No! Everyone needs to know that we’re in the know."

And then comes the moment you accept that you simply can't hide your discovery, and you have to take credit for this incredible find.

"We're the people that everyone hates, and I don't even care."

8. "This place is our new Holy Grail."

You're only in the door an hour and yet everything in the place is working for you; the music, the staff, the seating, the crowd, the atmosphere.

And this means that you will now drop everything for a night out in the place, and if that means you're boring because you refuse to try anywhere else, so be it.

"It's official, ladies. We've found our place in this city."

We can all be a little lazy from time to time, whether that's not getting up when the microwave pings or just giving up on a trip to town entirely because the bus didn't come.

Twitter user Jake Visser took to the social media site to ask his followers about their laziest moments, and the insight is a bit too relatable.

From the mundane to the innovative, here are 10 of our favourite lazy moments that hit a bit too close to home:

Irish eating disorders service Bodywhys has demonstrated in their annual report that 2016 saw a 10 per cent increase in people with disordered eating issues using their support services.

According to the report, the service has seen a a 33 per cent increase in support emails received.

It has also seen a 30 per cent jump in people attending support groups, and a 6 per cent increase in people using their online support groups.

The group also presented their findings from their call service, with 13 per cent of those calling being in a time of crisis.

People aged 15 to 18 made up almost one quarter of those who contacted the service.

Anorexia was the most common illness, as 60 per cent of those who contacted Bodywhys were struggling with this particular disorder.

Bulimia sufferers made up 17 per cent, while Binge Eating Disorder sufferers made up 19 per cent.

Those suffering with EDNOS (Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified) made up 4 per cent.

These figures come after Bodywhys commented on new Netflix film To The Bone, which gives a depiction of eating disorders.

'Bodywhys acknowledges that the filmmakers have understood the seriousness and complexity of eating disorders.'

'Visual and other elements of the film may be challenging for those with a personal connection to the issue of eating disorders.'

'The central character, Ellen, is in crisis and unwell. Some scenes involving specific eating disorder behaviours are shown, along with personal and emotional conversations.'

So, Castlepalooza is mere hours away, and you know what that means – it's time to clean off those wellies and prepare for one of the most exciting weekends on the Irish festival calendar.

And while every festival provides it's own unique charm and character, it seems like no matter which one you attend, you always seem to run into the same types of people.

Keep a look out for these 10 festival-goers over the weekend.

1. That random guy who sat behind you in Fifth Year maths

Remember Shane? That quiet guy you had honestly forgotten existed?

Well, he's here. Only now he's rocking a baja hoodie and a fairly questionable look in his eye.

2. A celebrity in their natural habitat

Hozier, that you? Looking splendid in that pac-a-mac as always.

3. The one who can't find their friends

It's five o'clock in the morning and you're finally about to doze off, when you hear the dreaded sound of your tent door opening.

"Hey, do I live here?"

"NO! – Get out and never come back."

4. The out-of-place couple

Amongst the chaos of the main stage you'll always find one couple standing in a loving embrace as Paolo Nutini plays 'their song'.

Not the time or the place guys.

5. The embarrassing dad

Reliving the days of his youth, but now with added cringey dance moves.

6. The annoyingly tall person

*glares*

You know who you are.

7. The one who takes 'festival fashion' to new extremes

Glitter in places it definitely shouldn't be.

8. The awkward work acquaintance

Oh God, is that Kevin from accounts?

Don't make eye contact.

9. The girl who's only dying to get on someone's shoulders

OK. We get it, you're small and you want to see the stage.

But please spare a thought for all the poor souls that have suffered a wellie in the face.

10. The one who only came for the music

They'll miss out on all the campsite fun, but they'll claim it's worth it just to see that 'mind blowing' headline set.

So, if you are heading to Castlepalooza this weekend, why not see how many of these you can spot?

It's been almost two weeks since the death of Chester Bennington – the frontman of one of the noughties' biggest rock bands.

And as the music industry attempts to come to terms with his tragic passing by suicide, fellow artists have wasted no time paying tribute to the man responsible for some of the great rock anthems of recent years, including In the End, Numb and Crawling.

Acknowledging the 41-year-old's sudden death, Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin, played a cover of Numb at the MetLife stadium this week.

However, the footage, which has amassed 42,000 views since its upload yesterday, has been met with considerable negativity from fans who have implied that the cover fell short of expectations.

"If Chester was alive, and this was a normal cover, everyone would say the truth: what an horrible cover," wrote one YouTube user.

"WTF is this? This is a disgrace," wrote another. "Stick to what you're good at, Chris Martin. First you butchered George Michael's song and now you had to butchered Linkin Park song. SMFH."

Acknowledging the backlash, some members of the public rushed to Chris Martin's defence, with one writing: "It wasn't necessarily a bad cover; it was fine, actually."

"However, hearing Chris Martin cover Chester's song, along with other artists, just reminds everyone how we're never going to hear Chester's massive voice ever again," they reasoned.

"Chris took time to learn this to pay respect to a well respected singer, why the f*ck are you complaining?" argued another. "It's not supposed to be the best cover ever, it's supposed to be a tribute."

Ladies, none of us can deny the fact that getting a delicious blow dry makes us feel famous.

Thankfully, blow dry bars are the latest rage in Dublin, and we could not be happier about it tbh.

At Galligan Beauty Group, those coveted blow drys now only cost €10 (we're NOT kidding) and they get you, and your gorgeous new hair, out the door in plenty of time for your night on the town.

"Every person’s favourite aspect of having their hair professionally done is the feeling afterwards of fresh, soft, and blown-out hair. The only problem is, this feeling is usually limited to the infrequent occasions of expensive hair appointments," said Bill Galligan, of Galligan Beauty Group.

In an attempt to increase the frequency, and lower the cost of that feeling, blow dry bars came on the scene. They are a huge hit and are the solution to unruly hair and provide much-needed confidence boosts.

The gorgeous folks at Galligan even highlighted their steps to achieving the perfect blow dry, and we're impressed.

1. Shampooing: A Galligan stylist massages your locks leaving them clean and glistening – yes please.

2. Conditioning: A conditioning treatment is then given, moisturising and healing your hair leaving it silky smooth.

3. Decision Time: Some women choose to go the route of light, beachy waves or glossy and straight.

4. Styling: Your stylist then uses a combination of brushing, blow-drying, and product to give you your desired style, leaving your hair soft, healthy, and bouncy.

5. Showing Off: Just like that, you are free to go about your day showing off your beautiful, fresh hair (dead right!)

The salon is located on Grafton Street, and is the blow dry solution to any bad hair day.

The celebration of the 'curve' has saturated popular culture in recent years, with the likes of the Kardashian sisters, Nicki Minaj, Amber Rose, Beyoncé and Blac Chyna supposedly flying the flag for curvacious women everywhere.

And while rocking a pear-shaped figure might place you in A-list company, it also reportedly does wonders for your physical health.

According to recent research, women who carry fat in their hips, thighs and bum are at a lower risk of developing a number of different diseases, including heart attacks, strokes and diabetes.

For years, we've known that carrying weight around your middle can contribute to ill health as it impacts the internal organs, but research has now confirmed that storing weight in your lower half helps to draw fat away from those organs.

So, what's the difference between fat around the midriff and fat around the hips and thighs?

Well, the former is known as visceral fat and releases harmful chemicals which, as already stated, can effect the main organs of the body, while the latter is known as subcutaneous fat which doesn't have the same effect and actually indirectly protects the heart.

The findings, which were conducted by researchers at the University of Tubingen, has been published in the journal of Cell Metabolism.

Penneys Autumn/Winter collection is giving us life, and the shoe selection is drawing our eye for one particular reason.

The high street haven has come up with an amazing footwear dupe for one of the season's most popular shoes.

Taking Instagram by storm, Vans Old Skool style low-top runner has been seen on every blogger worth her sartorial salt.

Now, Penneys has come up with their own version of the edgy skate shoe.

While not identical, the skater-inspired flats are definitely going straight on our shopping lists.

The flats carry a pretty reasonable price tag of €10.00, so adding some edge to your look is pretty damn affordable.

Pair with mom jeans and fishnet socks for a casual look, or dress down a summery dress and backpack at a festival.

We may have to purchase a few pairs.

As countless members of the entertainment industry came to terms with the passing of Hollywood icon, Sam Shepard, this week, former co-star, Matthew McConaughey, only learned of the actor's demise during a red carpet appearance.

While doing press for his latest film The Dark Tower, Matthew was asked for a few words on the actor he starred alongside in Mud, and appeared shellshocked to hear that the 73-year-old had died that day.

"Today was a sad day with the passing of Sam Shepard," the reporter began. "You guys worked together on Mud..."

Looking like the reporter's words had only just registered with him, Matthew interruped: "What? Sam Shepard moved on?"

Pressing his hand to his forehead, he continued: "Gosh damn it. From what?"

Taking a moment to compose himself, Matthew paid tribute to the 73-year-old actor in footage which has been trending online since yesterday.
