The moment has come, ladies.

After years of hoping Ed Sheeran and James Corden might team up for an episode of Carpool Karaoke, we can finally rest easy and prepare for one epic journey.

Speaking to Capital radio this week, the singer, who recently dropped new material, confirmed that a collaboration with the British host is officially in the works.

"I've been in touch with James Corden about this for three years because he wanted me to do the first one and I just wasn't around," Ed explained.

But, now?

"I can confirm that at some point this year I will be doing a carpool karaoke," Ed assured listeners.

That's all we needed to know, Ed!

There’s more exciting baby news this morning and this time it’s from Shay Given and fiancée Becky Gibson who have announced they are expecting another child.

This is the second child for the Irish goalkeeper and PR executive who welcomed their daughter Gracie in 2015.

Becky took to her private Facebook page to announce the news to close family and friends saying:

"I didn't plan on making a pregnancy announcement on Facebook but how can I resist with a picture this awesome?" she said.

“The stuff of dreams. Here’s to another year of carnage, no sleep but a lifetime of memories for our precious family and children.”

This will be child number four for 40-year-old Shay who is already dad to 10-year-old Shay Jnr and seven-year-old Sienna from a previous relationship.

2016 was quite the year for Tom Hiddleston.

Not only was he in THAT infamous relationship with Taylor Swift, but he also killed it in The Night Manager, the creepy spy drama that entranced us all.

So, it's fair to say that he deserved his Golden Globe win on Sunday night.

However, his acceptance speech was… well, it was just plain awkward.

Many took to Twitter to argue that he sounded very self-righteous, speaking about how he visited South Sudan, where all the humanitarian aid workers watched his TV series.

"They were a group of MSF doctors and nurses, and they wanted to say hello because during the shelling the previous month, they had binge-watched The Night Manager."

But last night, Tom took to Facebook to apologise for his ill-sounding speech, saying that he agrees with everyone, and his thoughts were "inelegantly expressed."

He wrote: "I just wanted to say… I completely agree that my speech at the Golden Globes last night was inelegantly expressed. In truth, I was very nervous, and my words just came out wrong.

"Sincerely, my only intention was to salute the incredible bravery and courage of the men and women who wore tirelessly… and the children of South Sudan, who continue to find hope and joy in the most difficult conditions.

"I apologise that my nerves got the better of me."

We'll let you away with it this time, Tom!

Noticed some shadowy figures lurking around Dublin over the weekend?

The shadows are part of a street art installation by artist Will St Leger, which finished up in the country's capitol on Saturday.

The shadowy silhouettes and their suitcases are being erected to represent the thousands of women who are forced to travel abroad every year to seek abortions outside of Ireland.

"Life-size silhouettes representing women will be placed in various locations across the country to visually symbolise the fact that, on average 10 women and girls are forced to leave Ireland every day to access abortion services aboard,' said the artist of the project.

The project is supported by the Repeal project, the Abortion Rights campaign and Amnesty International.

"Every year, at least 4,000 women are forced to travel outside of Ireland to access abortion services," said the artist, in a post on his professional blog.

"This refers to the number of women who give Irish addresses. The real figure, which doesn’t account for women travelling to other countries or purchasing abortion pills online, could be much higher."

The silhouettes were placed on Rosie Hackett Bridge at the weekend after visiting Mayo, Sligo, Leitrim and Meath over the past week.

"This project will build on the progress made by Abortion Rights Campaign regional groups and other local and community groups. It will continue expanding the dialogue on the urgent need for a referendum to repeal the Eighth Amendment,” said Tarry Gleason, an Abortion Rights Campaign spokesperson.

Even Aungier Danger supported the cause, creating a doughnut "for the women of Ireland."

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt shocked us all last year when they announced they were getting a divorce.

If you were following the split, then you'll know that things got very messy, very quickly, with claims of child abuse wavering around the media.

And now, the former couple have released a statement which explains why they have both decided to seal the court documents relating to their six children.

"The parties and their counsel have signed agreements to preserve the privacy rights of their children and family by keeping all court documents confidential and engaging a private judge to make any necessary legal decisions and to facilitate the expeditious resolution of any remaining issues.

"The parents are committed to act as a united front to effectuate recovery and reunification."

This comes a month after Brad asked a LA Superior Court Judge to seal the records regarding his kids.

Hopefully this difficult time for the family is coming to an end.

A deal has been struck between Minister for Housing Simon Coveney and a team of delegates from the Home Sweet Home initiative, who have been occupying Apollo House since December last year.

The campaigners have agreed to vacate the building on the condition that appropriate accommodation be found for the 40 homeless residents currently living there.

As part of the deal, €4 million will also be spent on two new facilities for the homeless in Dublin.

The Minister also pledged that there will be no families left in commercial housing, such as B&Bs or hotels, by July 2017.

Both Home Sweet Home and the Minister for Housing agreed that "Ireland is currently in the grips of a housing emergency," according to a statement released online by Home Sweet Home

The initiative has pledged to be a permanent fixture in the fight to end homelessness, and will have regular monthly meetings with Dublin City Council to discuss issues around homelessness in the country's capitol.

Apollo House and it's residents were served with a notice to have vacated the premises by January 11.

The Tara Street building is set for demolition in the new year, as it is part of a €50,000,000 plan of redevelopment for the area.

We all have a few Luas horror stories, from technical faults to stikes and even manspreading, but this is really something else.

Yesterday morning, like every other morning, a woman hopped on the Luas in Balally to go to work.

But it was super early in the morning, so she dozed off for a bit… only to wake up in the middle of the Luas getting washed in the depot.

*Queue panic and running*

Obviously, the driver got a fair scare when he saw Aoife knocking on his glass door.

She told the DailyEdge: "I got on at Balally to go to work, but I hadn't had much sleep the night before so nodded off within minutes. I woke up at the Sandyford depot to the sound of a Luas maintenance guy waving and banging on the window beside me. I’d no clue what was going on!

"I spotted that the driver was still there so got his attention and asked if I could get out but we had to wait for the Luas to go through the washer. I was about 15 minutes waiting before I could get out. I was lucky I wasn’t stuck there longer."

We'd honestly think we were still dreaming!

20 years ago, the body of Ciara Glennon was found in bushland outside Perth.

Now, Ciara's heartbroken father, Denis Glennon, has learned that the Western Australian Police have arrested and charged a suspect in relation to his daughter's death.

Denis, a native of Westport Co Mayo, has spoken to the press regarding recent developments in the cold case.

He, understandably, expressed a mixture of emotions when discussing the two-decade long investigation.

"This is a very raw and bittersweet time," Ciara's father told Perth Now.

"We are being updated by the Western Australian Police, and hence it is best that I do not comment on the recent developments."

Ciara, who was 27 at the time of her death, had been celebrating St Patrick's Day on March 14 1997 in the Perth suburb of Claremont when she disappeared.

In addition to charges brought forth regarding Ciara's murder, Bradley Robert Edwards has also been charged with the murder of 23-year-old Jane Rimmer.

Ciara and Jane's killings, along with the disappearance of Sarah Spiers, were documented in Australian press as the 'Claremont serial killings'.

Hair, hair and MORE HAIR.

We love a snazzy new hair trend more than anyone, and this latest one is beyond sensational.

Image result for opalescent hair

Imagine unicorn-esque hair, but with much softer shades,  that is designed to resemble an opal stone.

Can you even cope?

Many of these beautiful shades look almost white, until the light hits it in a certain way, exposing beautiful pinkish hues.

We reckon this hair trend will be EXTREMELY popular during the summer, so keep an eye out for it!

Recently, we discovered a company called Flick Candles, who specialise in creating interesting, and offensive scents.

The company sell lovely large scented candles, that are named after super inappropriate things.

Names like "crushing debt" and "recently deleted browser history" are just two examples of the kind of candles offered.

While we admit that these candles are offensive, we absolutely love them.

Imagine the look on your mums face if you gifted her a lovely pink candle named "freshly inked tramp stamp".

The candles cost $16.99 each, which is SO worth it!
