Hair, hair and MORE HAIR.

We love a snazzy new hair trend more than anyone, and this latest one is beyond sensational.

Imagine unicorn-esque hair, but with much softer shades,  that is designed to resemble an opal stone.

Can you even cope?

Many of these beautiful shades look almost white, until the light hits it in a certain way, exposing beautiful pinkish hues.

We reckon this hair trend will be EXTREMELY popular during the summer, so keep an eye out for it!

Your hair colour doesn't just have to be blonde, brown or black these days.

From your fave Starbucks drink to puddles of gasoline, colourists are taking their inspiration from anything and everything – with VERY exciting results.

Here are a few we're gagging to try…

1. Pumpkin Spice hair
Have hair as basic as your beverage with this new autumn colour trend, which sees hair dyed a rich shade of red with copper undertones. Looking to get on board? Ask your colourist for a "soft copper hue."

2. Oil slick hair
This one is perfect for brunettes, as it involves no bleaching. Shades of dark purple and green are layered onto brown or black hair, giving an iridescent look that looks strangely like a puddle of gasoline. The colours last longer than lighter shades like red and pink too, so there's far less upkeep involved.

3. Colour-block dip dye
Could this look be any more Gwen Stefani? The rocker first stepped out with purple and black hued hair shortly after announcing her divorce from Gavin Rossdale, and she updated the ends to a brighter blue this week. Yes, you need some serous hair confidence to pull it off, but we love the results.

4. Sand art hair
This high-intensity colour burst is named after those childhood sand art projects we were all forced to do in primary school. Hair is separated into sections, with a layer of green, pink, blue or purple applied to each piece. Neon nostalgia… we love it.

5. Opal hair
Go for a softer take on the 'rainbow hair' trend with this opalescent look. First, hair is lightened to a pearl pink colour (not too far off grey), and then layers of colour are added for a washed-out, lightly coloured look.

6. Pixel hair
This one has been knocking around since early 2015, but we're still trying to wrap our heads around the mind-blowing effect. The 'splashlights' effect is achieved by colouring square blocks of hair and then blending each section together.
