If you have been paying any attention to the whereabouts of One Direction as they officially enter their hiatus, you will know that everyone has been constantly accounted for except for Niall.

Yep, One Directioners across the globe have been unable to pin-point Niall's exact location as he has purposefully stopped using social media in order to get some privacy on his adventurous and well-deserved hols.

But it seems that a certain RTE 2FM presenter has let the cat out of the bag.

Some week in paradise. Thanks boys.

A photo posted by Eoghan McDermott (@eoghanmcdermott) on

Many fans knew that Niall was doing a backpacking trip through South East Asia where it is believed he has visited Australia, Bali, the Philippines and Vietnam, but they still needed to know his exact location.

According to Eoghan's Instagram, the Mullingar native is partying it up on the beaches of Thailand and it looks like he is having a ball.

"Some week in paradise," read the caption of the photo which has sent fans into a tailspin.

Niall was spotted landing in Bangkok airport on the 29 Feb before he obviously decided to check out some of the country's party hotspots.

Niall has been located. Let the hysteria ensue.

The exceptional documentary film, Amy, won Best Documentary Film at the Oscars last weekend but there was one person who was not at all happy about it.

Mitch Winehouse, the father of the late Amy Winehouse who is the subject of the critically acclaimed documentary, has been vocal about his criticisms of the film ever since the movie came out.

And it seems his views have not changed despite the piece scooping up a gong at the prestigious awards ceremony.

In awkward scenes on the Today Show, Mitch spoke via video-link to hosts Maura Derrane and Dáithí Ó Sé but he was not in the best of moods.

First he was not exactly impressed that the presenters had not taken the time to watch the movie before having a go at their interviewing technique.

"Are you gonna let me speak? You keep talking across me?"

We reckon there may have been a few second delay on the video coming through to the studio but it still made for a pretty awkward interview.

After accepting an Academy Award in front of the world's millions on Sunday night, it's understandable that Hungarian filmmarker Nemes Jeles László would want to keep his trophy close to hand.

It is, after all, a pretty distinctive piece of equipment, and certainly not something you'd want to lose on your way home from LA.

But even Oscar winners have to follow the rules when passing through airport security, as László proved with a brilliant snap on Facebook yesterday:

"Airport Security, no exceptions… on my way back to Hungary," the filmmaker – who won the Best Foreign Language Film for Son Of Saul – wrote.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter about his win shortly after Sunday's awards, László said he was wary of the fact that all of the recognition could be a "poisoned" gift.

"But if we handle it with skill it won't crush us," he added.

Handle it with skill, for sure – and always remove it from your bag at airport security.

Zac Efron looks like he's having some fun while taking a break from filming Baywatch.

The actor was spotted in an Irish pub in Florida when a random man walked in with a Kinkajou monkey.

According to TMZ, Zac took a liking to the monkey and started to play with it, letting it run around his arms and head.

The Kinkajou also took a fancy to Zac's drink, and gobbled it right up before Zac noticed. Oh, how we wish we were that monkey.

It's rare that a Best Actor and Best Actress from the same Oscars year feature in a film together – so rare, in fact, that it hasn't happened since 1997's As Good As it Gets – but this year that's exactly what went down.

Leonardo DiCaprio may have scooped the Academy Award for his role in The Revenant last Sunday night, but he also makes an appearance in one other very noteworthy film from this year's contenders, Lenny Abrahamson's Room.

Well, kinda.

US studio A24, who distributed the film Stateside, took to Twitter earlier this week to point out that Leo's face does indeed appear just a few feet away from Best Actress winner Brie Larson during one scene:

See what they did there?

Unlike Leo's cameo, both Helen Hunt and Jack Nicholson had moving, speaking roles in As Good As It Gets, before being awarded Best Actress and Best Actor respectively for their parts in the film.

If you ask us though, the role of Teen Heartthrob Poster should definitely have earned Leo some kind of award,

The Queen of the Jungle Vicky Pattison has confirmed she's dating MIC bad boy Spencer Matthews.

The Loose Women host recently revealed that Spencer sent her one hundred roses for Valentine's Day – but since then their relationship has taken a leap.

Vicky told her New! mag fans that she's been on a couple of dates, and things seem to be going pretty well.

"I went on a date with a certain Spencer Matthews last week," she wrote.

"We enjoyed a lovely night having drinks and dinner. The date was really nice. Yes, I did post a quote on Instagram afterwards that said,'My mind forgets to remind me you're a bad idea'.

"What can I say? I'm not sure how much we have in common and I'm not his usual type but he is very charming, so watch this space…"

The pair shared their first kiss on I'm A Celeb, but it didn't go any further than that since Vicky had a rule about dating people from opposing reality shows.

We're guessing now that Vicky has totally said goodbye to Geordie Shore and has been welcomed onto the Loose Women panel, she has no more issues.

Ah, Kanye. Yes, yes, we know he's become super annoying and we just can't stand him going on another ridiculous rant, but we have to say, he pulled this one out of the bag.

After the rapper tweeted a picture of him listening to music on Youtube, eagle-eyed Deadmau5 spotted that Kanye was using an illegal torrent site.

The DJ slammed Kanye in a bunch of tweets, but really, it's Kanye – and Deadmau5 probably should have known better.

Mr West ripped it out of him, and to ne honest, it's genius:

Ah, Kanye. Fair play with this one.

This weekend she is performing two sold-out shows, but she still has time to bring her son, Angelo for a trip around Dublin.

The superstar singer was spotted on Merrion Square, where she treated her little boy to a fun day in the playground.

The Hello singer arrived in the capital two days before her concerts in the 3Arena this Friday and Saturday night.

We're thinking Adele must have a soft spot for Dublin as she tweeted a fan from the city during the week to let him know she'll give him tickets to her concert.

The 27-year-old was seen with not a care in the world, free from paparazzi and fans, so she was able to take a calming trip to The Dead Zoo and the Natural History Museum with her son.

We hope she had a ball in our fair city, and takes many trips back here (because we totally want to meet her).

While we love shopping (loveeee), we can't help but get all flustered every time we go to pay for something.

You either can't find your purse, or your money falls out, or your bank card won't work… it can be super annoying.

But that's where Google's new app comes in. In a world of technology, it seems that we don't need cash anymore, right? All we need is an app.

The Hands Free app is debuting in San Francisco today and it sounds pretty damn good.

"Once you’ve installed and set up the app, Hands Free uses Bluetooth low energy, Wi-Fi, and location services on your phone to detect whether you’re near a participating store. When you’re ready to pay, you can simply tell the cashier, “I’ll pay with Google.” The cashier will ask for your initials and use the picture you added to your Hands Free profile to confirm your identity," said the website.

While it'll only be available in America for the moment, it'll probably hit our shores pretty soon – so we can all say goodbye to our bank balance.

Since the break-up of their marriage, Millie Mackintosh and Professor Green haven't hid away from the public – and Millie is certainly not shy about the drama surrounding her.

The blonde beauty shared a photo on Instagram of her enviable beach body just a few weeks after she announced she is separating from her husband.

In the photo, Millie is seen lying down, bare faced and in a brown itsy-bitsy bikini, while enjoying a glass of rosé. She captioned the image, "rose and chill."

A glass of rosé and some friends by her side is seemingly all she needs to feel better about the split, as the clothing designer shared more photos of her and her friends having a fun night out in Australia.

Sure a girl's therapy is a bottle of rosé and some BFFs, right?
