We all have that one dude on Facebook who always posts gifs and memes about women being in the kitchen or how his perfect type of gal is a Victoria's Secret model (because we clearly all look like them).

Most of the time we scroll past the ridiculous views, but one Facebook user couldn't help but notice a mother losing her sh*t at her son when he shared THIS online:

The Twitter user @ghoulia, shared the mothering masterpiece and we can't help but laugh, especially when she calls her son a 'DOUCHE CANOE."

April Fools' Day is a total minefield for false news stories, as brands and celebrities do their best to pull the wool over everyone's eyes for one day only.

So far this morning we've seen Woman's Way announce a new mag called Men's Way, Loose Women announce a new show called Loose Men (we sense a pattern), H&M reveal a new collection by Mark Zuckerberg, and Tom Fletcher tell the world that he's launching a toddler music supergroup led by his two-year-old son, Buzz.

But the best – and most Irish – corporate prank we've come across today has to be this gas joint effort by Supermac's and Copper Face Jacks.

In an article posted to the Supermac's website this morning, the fast food chain announced plans to set up a new branch… right on the dancefloor at Coppers.

"Starting tonight, nightclubbers will be able to tuck into a Smokey Bacon Burger without ever leaving the dance floor," the article reads.

And Coppers' owner Cathal Jackson even weighed in on the development, adding, "Just last week I was asked by a Guard from Clare in the nightclub ‘Where is the nearest Supermac’s?’ Now, we will only have to point customers towards the Supermac’s branch in our Premium Bar where they can end their night the traditional Irish way."

The best part? If you have a Coppers Gold Card, you're entitled to one free portion of Curry Cheese Chips per night, which will apparently "almost guarantee" that you get the shift.

Solid effort – and is it weird that we really think this would work?!

Last night, Cara Delevingne revealed that she suffers from depression in a heartfelt Twitter essay.

The 23-year-old shocked her fans when she appeared in a Saint Laurent campaign after everyone thought she quit the modelling business.

However, she reached out to her confused fans by opening up in very personal tweets. 

"Can we just set the record straight," she began. "I never said I was quitting modelling. I do not blame the fashion industry for anything."

"I suffer from depression and was a model during a particularly rough patch of self hatred."

"I am so lucky for the work I get to do but I used to work to try and escape and just ended up completely exhausting myself," she explained.

"I am focusing on filming and trying to learn how to not pick apart my every flaw,' she concluded. 'I am really good at that. Okay…. Rant over. Just wanted to clarify and word vomit a little…"

She ended off her tweets with, "I never quit."

Congrats to Louise McSherry, she has just announced she's expecting her first child!

“I can honestly say that throughout my experience with cancer I only thought ‘WHY ME?’ one time,” she wrote on her website louisemcsharry.com.

The 2fm presenter has been very open about her recovery from cancer, and despite worrying about having children, Louise is pregnant with her first child with hubby Gordon.

“The treatment which had saved my life had also decimated my egg count. Where I should have been at 35 or 40 on the scale of being able to conceive, I was a two. I was a two, and I was pissed off,” she wrote.

“Then, a few months after we started trying, I got pregnant.

“We spent the seven weeks between finding out and going for a scan in total disbelief, barely telling anyone, and trying not to get our hopes up. This wasn’t meant to have happened!

“Then, last week, we saw our baby wriggling around on a screen in The Rotunda, and now there is simply no denying it.

“No matter what happens now there is a baby of our creation, and I have become the exception.

“We are absolutely delighted and a little bit terrified at the prospect of becoming proper adults, but I gather that’s a normal way to feel.

“We are also incredibly grateful that we have beaten the odds.

Kylie Jenner is now adding lip glosses into her ever-expanding make-up line, and to celebrate it she made the most bizarre video.

Giving us all the 90's Britney vibes, the beauty mogul is seen sitting back in a open top Rolls Royce while sporting a Louis Vuitton bandana (which we literally haven't wore since we were about… 12).

She also arrives at a random motel and texts her friends "gametime" before trying to stage an armed robbery… Huh?

It's a strange one indeed, and what put the idea into her head, we don't know but, it really has to be seen to be believed.

Just hours before Jesy Nelson cancelled Little Mix's Belfast concert because of a mystery illness the 24-year-old completely broke down on stage in tears.

While she was giving a speech on body confidence during the Dublin gig on Wednesday, the star was clearly overcome with emotion and caught on camera fighting back her tears.

"If you're ever feeling really crap about yourself or not feeling confident this is exactly why we wrote this song," she told the crowd.

As the girls rushed over to comfort her, Jesy struggled to say: "I'm so emotional. I don't know what's wrong with me!"

"Ireland what have you done to me?" she added.

Whatever is wrong with Jesy we hope she's OK, and we think she's looking like an absolute superstar lately so we hope her body confidence has gone way up.

Now, here's an odd celeb pairing.

Mullingar man Niall Horan has his fair share of celebrity pals – he's hung out with everyone from Selena Gomez to Ariana Grande over the last few months.

But one celebrity we'd never have paired the One Direction star with is writer and actress Lena Dunham, the mastermind behind HBO's Girls.

Turns out we were missing a trick though, as the two have indeed been having the chats on social media. Well, they've had one exchange at least.

Things kicked off when Niall tweeted the official Girls account on Monday to pass on his praise for the "absolutely hilarious" show:

And while Niall seems to be a big fan of Lena's work, we're not sure the feeling is mutual, as her response was definitely a dig at 1D's lyrics.

Posting a screenshot of the tweet to her Instagram, Lena ripped off the lyrics to Perfect, adding in a few key Girls references.

"But if you like having panic attacks up in hotel rooms / And if you like a lot of complex fear stuff around men and sex," she wrote.

"If you like to do the things you’re too ashamed to admit to anyone but your therapist / Then baby, I’m perfect." 

Oh, and the best part? She doesn't even follow him on Twitter, at least not if her screenshot is telling the truth:

Hmmm… wonder if this is Lena's revenge for Harry Styles' d*ckhead treatment to her bestie Taylor Swift?

Either way, there's no reply from Niall as yet. Hopefully he saw the funny side…

Vienetta might be pretty old school, but it has such a lovely touch of retro glamour that it's one dessert we can't bear to say goodbye to.

Waves of vanilla or mint ice-cream with thin layers of chocolate in between – does it get any better than that? Well yes, because Romantica, but aside from that we're all about the V.

And this video, filmed on the Vienetta production line , is just so strangely mesmerising that we reckon we could watch it on repeat all day.

First, a layer of melted chocolate is painted over sheets of ice-cream…

Then more ice-cream is added in waves. The waves. LOOK AT THE WAVES.

Plus the obligatory top layer of ice-cream…

And a delicate spray of chocolate *faints*

Then finally, the Massive Vienetta is sliced into lots of Regular Vienettas.

A young woman from Co Kildare is setting off on a 383.7 mile cycle from her mum’s hometown to London to her resting place in Moone, as part of a fundraising mission.

Amie Merlehan’s mum Toni died a year ago from rare illness Peripheral Vascular Disease, which affects the heart’s arteries.

Brave Toni underwent a whopping 48 surgeries in her battle to fight the illness, and according to her daughter, almost all operations were carried out by Mr. David Nott, who she considers a “legend”.

“We are doing the cycle to recognise all those battling Peripheral Vascular Disease and honour all those lost, including my inspirational mother,” Amie told KildareNow.

“All money raised will go to my mother’s surgeon Mr. David Nott whom volunteers six months a year of his own time to travel to war-torn countries like Syria and spends the rest of his time working in the UK and teaching vascular surgery."

“For me, he is the man who saved my mother life multiple times, got her through 48 surgeries, never gave up on her and still had the time to reassure me and worry about how I was doing.”

And during the trip, as a tribute to her mum, Amie and her travelling companion will tick off items on her mum’s bucket list, like archery and clay pigeon shooting.

Thousands of Northern Irish fans have been left disappointed today with the news that Little Mix have cancelled both of their Belfast shows.

A rep for the band confirmed the news this afternoon, just minutes before the foursome were due to begin a 2pm matinée show at Belfast's SSE Arena.

The second gig, at 8pm tonight, has also been called off.

According to the band's statement, the group were unable to perform after Jesy Nelson fell ill, but the show's will be rescheduled for a later date.

Unsurprisingly, there has been quite a bit of backlash over on Twitter:

Here's hoping no more dates will be affected.

Things seem to be on the rocks in a big way (yet again) for Charlotte Crosby and her man, at least if her latest tweets are anything to go by.

The Geordie Shore star took to social media today to blast her on-off boyfriend Gary Beadle, after spotting some controversial pictures of him in a nightclub flirting with another woman, law student Vicky Marriott.

While Charlotte's remained quiet about her beef until now, Gary's vehement denials on Snapchat this weekend that he had tried it on with Vicky – despite reportedly being pictured with his hand on her bum – seem to have rubbed Charlotte up the wrong way.
 

And to make matters even worse, it seems Gary is returning to Ex On The Beach… or at least that's what he wants her to think.

Bad decision, Gaz… 

The model added that she had turned to Gaz's bestie Aaron Chalmers for comfort. 

In short, these two seem to be OFF in a big way, unless Gary changes his ways ASAP.

Some sad news from the world of comedy this morning as it's been confirmed that Ronnie Corbett has passed away.

The Scottish actor and comedian was best known for his work as part of The Two Ronnies alongside his fellow comedy king Ronnie Barker.

A publicist for the Corbett family confirmed this news this morning to the Press Association, adding that the 85-year-old had passed away at home while surrounded by loved ones. 

Tributes for the legendary comedian are already pouring in on Twitter:
