BREAKING: Little Mix cancel BOTH Belfast shows with minutes to go

Thousands of Northern Irish fans have been left disappointed today with the news that Little Mix have cancelled both of their Belfast shows.

A rep for the band confirmed the news this afternoon, just minutes before the foursome were due to begin a 2pm matinée show at Belfast's SSE Arena.

The second gig, at 8pm tonight, has also been called off.

According to the band's statement, the group were unable to perform after Jesy Nelson fell ill, but the show's will be rescheduled for a later date.

Unsurprisingly, there has been quite a bit of backlash over on Twitter:

Myself and @CGormley92 travel whole way to Belfast, book hotel, to find out @LittleMix have cancelled their two shows. Devastated
