Weddings can be both glorious and demanding – we all know it.

It's a great honour to be asked to be a bridesmaid too, especially if it's one of your BFFs – but as one woman found out, it's not all champagne and diamonds.

For one unlucky bridesmaid, it was quite the opposite. It was demanding, frustrating, time-consuming and financially stressful.

Now, you might think that every wedding has to have a little bit of stress – it can't all go swimmingly – but just wait until you hear the demands that this woman had to put up with.

The anonymous bridesmaid wrote about her experience on Mamamia.com, and begins by saying she was "overjoyed" to be asked to be in the wedding party.

But then, her "joy quickly turned to utter despair" when Caroline, the bride, became obsessive with every part of the wedding.

Then, one day, out of the blue, Caroline asked the unlucky bridesmaid to make an Exel spreadsheet of cake-makers, which had to include the price of each one, the different flavours, contact info, and what "prestige" level each cake-maker is on. However, she was working that day, and had to leave the spreadsheet until the next morning:

"On Saturday morning I cancelled my breakfast plans, instead researching Tasmanian wedding cake-makers that might be suitable.

"I sent it through to her and had a reply almost immediately. 'Thanks for this, would've been really helpful to have it yesterday when specified but I appreciate it'."

WOW.

But wait, it gets worse. The bridesmaid then had to give up three consecutive weekends to go wedding dress shopping with the bride and her other six bridesmaids.

Caroline found the "perfect dress" – but it was double her budget. The other bridesmaids said she should "totally splurge" on it, which she did, but then asked all the bridesmaids to "pitch in."

We kid you not. And the bride's reasoning? Pitching in would make the dress a "sentimental" treasure.

Now, the anonymous bridesmaid was, understandably, very angry and wasn't to quick to jump on giving her money away for someone else's dress.

She ended the piece with saying she may have to re-think the whole bridesmaid thing, and may "have to bail on the wedding… and friendship."

We all know prom night is a big deal in the States and like all special occasions some people tend to go a little further than others with how they celebrate.

But American teen Azja Fazier has pretty much beaten everyone who ever wanted to claim the title of “Most Dramatic Prom Reveal Ever” as she hired professional dancer Floyd Wimberly to entertain her crowd – yes, she had her own crowd – before she revealed her prom look.

A video of the event – which has now been viewed more than 3 million times – shows Floyd dancing to Beyoncé’s Formation before he is joined by another dancer and a smoke machine.

Eventually the true star of the show Azja comes through a haze of golden foil to reveal herself – and her sequined feathered dress – to the crowd.

Is it too late to re-do our debs?

Let's be honest, we were all shocked and amazed when Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift put an end to their relationship.

And then when Taylor started a new romance with Tom Hiddleston two weeks later… It was MIND BOGGLING.

There has been a lot of ups and downs over the past week, like Taylor deleting every picture with Calvin on her social media accounts, and Calvin unfollowing her on Insatgram.

But now, just mere hours after the DJ re-followed his ex-girlfriend, he appears to have called her out in a bunch of comments.

The screenshots are in no way confirmed as being legit, but the things that are being said are jaw-dropping.

According to the comments, Calvin replies to one of Taylor's fans who asked him about the relationship:

I'm here for his random q&a… He is amazing

We like the odd glass of wine here in SHEmazing! HQ, but something we never thought we'd ever hear of is blue wine.

Yes, BLUE wine.

Making it's way to the UK (and hopefully Ireland), Spanish firm Gik, has created blue wine from a mixture of red and white grapes, which are grown in vineyards near Madrid and say it tastes similar to a sweet Riesling.

Coming in at under a tenner (€9.26), it's certainly going to be interesting to try – yet, the entrepreneurs of the blue concoction describe themselves as "young people without any wine tradition." Hmmm…

“Try to forget everything you know about wine. Try to unlearn the hundreds of protected wine designations of origin, the complex and demanding service standards and everything that sommelier said at a tasting course to which you were invited," says the Gik website.

“We do not believe in wine tasting rules and we don’t think that anybody should need to study the bible of enology to enjoy a glass of wine."

We'd try it… Maybe.

We can't see One Direction fans being happy with this news!

It seems that Harry Styles is thinking about leaving 1D after reportedly signing a solo recording deal.

It is said that the singer has agreed to a very lucrative offer made by Colombia Records, the label who also represents the infamous boyband.

According to Billboard, it looks like solo plans have been brewing for a while now, and last year he even register four songs with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.

Solo deal or not, it's turning out to be quite a big year for the 22-year-old.

He's currently filming alongside Tom Hardy for Christopher Nolan's upcoming World War II flick, Dunkirk, and rumour has it he's also up for the role of The Rolling Stones frontman, Mick Jagger, in a new movie.

It was a tense night last night as the EU referendum results were broadcast, which showed the result that Britain voted to leave the European Union.

It was an extremely close vote, with the Leave campaign securing around 51.8 per cent.

England voted overwhelmingly for Brexit, yet, Scotland and Northern Ireland backed the Remain campaign.

But, something we totally didn't expect to come from last night was Lindsay Lohan to live-tweeting about it.

Some topics she brought up for discussion were her insightful views on remaining in the EU, free trade and where Sunderland is located. Hmmm…

She first took to Instagram last night to post a video. She was seemingly advertising a Chanel bag, all the while showing her fans that she was watching the EU referendum results show.

#besmart pay attention and work hard to buy @chanelofficial #remain where's Sunderland? Does Sarah Palin live there? Lol

She captioned the post: "#be smart pay attention and work hard to buy @chanelofficial #remain where's Sunderland? Does Sarah Palin live there? Lol."

Then the actress took to Twitter to share another view:

But then she tweeted the Independent to blame Sunderland for a drop in the UK pound:

Then there was the "small shops" comment:

It was all very confusing…

There's no doubt that Megan Fox has had a roller-coaster 12 months.

After filing for divorce from her actor husband Brian Austin Green last August, the 30-year-old announced in the spring that she was pregnant with their third child.

The split has since been put on ice – and now her father has revealed in conversation with Mail Online that the couple knows the sex of their new baby.

Franklin Fox, 65, told the website: "All I can say is that they are together and they are happy. I’ve met Brian a ton of times now and he is a great guy.

"Megan is an amazing mom and I can’t believe she is going to have three boys.

"Becoming a grandfather has been a wonderful experience and brought us all even closer together."

Later this year, the couple will celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary. Together they currently raise their sons, three-year-old Noah and two-year-old Bodhi.

Brian, 42, furthermore has a 14-year-old son, Kassius, from a previous relationship with Vanessa Marcil.

Remember the last time you put someone on the spot and asked them to justify their appearance? Yeah, me neither.

But having reached just over six foot at the age of 16, I’ve spent a lot of my adult life quite literally accounting for my height.

“My dad’s quite tall…six two. My mam? Five eight, I think. Yeah, I do. An older brother. Oh, how tall? Em, six two I think.”

I’ve lost count of the times I’ve been asked to list my extended family’s vital statistics so that the person I’m talking to might understand exactly how I came to be.
(“I burst forth from the other world, Moira. And how about you?”)

The thing is – on these occasions – I know there isn’t a hint of malice in the comments…until there is.

“Me and my mates have a bet on how tall you are. Seven foot?” was the first comment that greeted me on a recent night out with my friends.

“In fairness, you’re the perfect height for any bird,” said another as he stared pointedly at my chest before raising his eyes and silently daring me to contradict a comment that only someone who had seen it delivered would recognise it as the insult it was intended.

Crouching down in photos, agonising over the height of a heel and being asked on the regular whether my boyfriend is taller than me is handy in comparison to remarks random men have made about my height since I grabbed my first Smirnoff Ice and stumbled around a dance floor to Blu Cantrell’s Breathe.

Over the last decade I’ve been reminded that it’s often shorter lads who feel the need to stand beside me and make offensive gestures and I’ve been assured that it’s only drunk eejits who are trying to get my attention on a night out, but so what?

Suggesting that lads are either jealous of my height or simply fudged a chat-up line is insulting not only to me, but to them.

The lads – many of whom I’m sure have sisters and female friends if not wives and girlfriends – are not a bunch of morons who think schoolyard hair-pulling is the way to a woman’s heart, so why should any woman let them off the hook?

On a recent night out, after a bloke repeatedly drew attention to my height in a tiny, overcrowded pub, I patted him on the head before calling him a short fat b*stard.

And all hell broke loose.

Stunned that I would have the audacity to comment on his appearance, he stood reeling until a number of my friends – and believe me, it took a few – reminded him that he’d been doing the same to me all night.

“But it’s her height! I didn’t say ANYTHING about her weight, for f*cks sake.”

And therein lies the problem.

There’s something about height above so many other physical features that people feel they can comment on without looking bad.

I’m sure countless people have felt compelled to remark on my flat arse – the flattest thing you’ve ever seen – or my scaldy hair that I can’t style for love nor money, but it’s always my proximity to the ceiling they openly remark on.

Oh, and believe me, I know it works both ways. As the proud BFF of a gal just under five foot – comedy gold, right? – we’ve spent more nights than I’d care to remember comparing notes over the smart-arse comments men have made at our expense.

And we're officially done.

How long should we have to smile and shrug off sarky remarks while waiting to pay for a drink simply because we don’t want to be seen as uptight with zero bants?

How many times should I pretend I haven’t heard an oul lad tell his wife to ‘look at the jaysusin’ height of her’ before I’m allowed to provide her with a log-in for Plenty of Fish?

At what point can I simply tell them to f*ck off without being told ‘Relax, I was only giving you a compliment.”

Hats off to women with more patience and longer fuses than me, you ladies are the real MVPs.

Ever since 47-year-old model, Stephanie Seymour, dubbed Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid 'bitches of the moment' and suggested that they weren't actually supermodels in the traditional sense, there's been no shortage of discussion surrounding the issue.

After Kendall took to her website to express her disappointment over Stephanie's off-the-cuff remark, the older model responded by apologising, writing on Instagram: "I respect and admire all these women in my industry, in particular Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner."

"Having been in the business over 20 years I know how hard these women work," she added in a post which has been likes more than 50,000 times since its upload.

But it looks like it's not enough for fellow model, Tyra Banks, who decided to weigh in on the controversy by tweeting: "This supermodel war is raging and it's really tearing me apart. It's my duty to speak up about the model war going on, and I've got a lot to say."

Leading fans to a blog on her website, Tyra communicated her stance on the issue, and while drawing comparisons between supermodels in the 90s and today, she insisted that both worked as hard as each other.

"I speak to the new Supermodels…my sisters…my girls. You’re kicking ass, working hard, running from show to show, shoot to shoot and party to party (because you have to be seen and have a cool social media post that night because your followers are complaining you haven’t been posting enough lately)."

"You’re driving yourself into exhaustion all while showing the world post by post that it looks so easy, when in reality, it is anything but. The pressure is ON," she continued.

"You have to be perfect but relatable, friendly yet intimidating, sexy but not too much or you’ll get barraged with the capital ‘S’ word all over your feeds," Tyra wrote. "The world is watching your every move, judging whether or not you have acceptable personal style."

Advising the younger generation of models that they should attempt to understand their predecessor's stance, she added: "Change is hard. And when you’re a legend, and have ruled the roost, it’s even harder. It can be frustrating, painful, and sometimes can leave one in disbelief."

Tyra finished by insisting that there were room for numerous generations of supermodels, writing: "The universe constantly changes and evolves, and will continue to do so until the end of time.  It’s inevitable. And it’s beautiful."

Preach Tyra, preach!

It seems comedian James Corden can do no wrong when it comes to viral hits and his latest venture with Pitch Perfect star Anna Kendrick is another absolute winner.

Appearing on The Late Late Show, Anna joined James on stage to perform an awesome musical mash-up of some very famous love songs.

Ex reality star Ricci Guarnaccio may have moved on with his life since his explosive departure from Geordie Shore, but it seems he hasn’t quite left his issues with former flame Vicky Pattison in the past.

In a recent interview with Bang Showbiz Ricci – who is clearly unimpressed with the variety of unflattering comments Vicky has made about him since they split three years ago –suggested he could reveal all about his ex fiancé in a future tell-all book.

The former Geordie Shore housemate said: "We still don't get along. She said a lot in her book and a lot of things in the past and honestly I haven't said jack s*** in comparison so my book one day might come out you know."

Alongside the revelation, Ricci – who now lives in Australia – said he wishes the Loose Women panellist all the best.

“I'm like doing my own thing over here she's doing her thing like I wish her all the best and we both move on and that's it.”

“I think the whole Vicky/Ricci thing is always going to be there because of how big it was, her doing well then me doing well it's never really going to go away.”

In 2014 Vicky shared some of the negative aspects of their relationship with the world in her book Nothing But The Truth.

In the past she’s also told the Mirror: "Ricci's an angry and aggressive man. It's little man syndrome, he's got that fiery Mediterranean temperament.”

"I don't think he's a nice person when he's had a drink, and he's spoilt and arrogant."

With statements like that it’s little wonder Ricci wants to tell his side of the story.
