We hate to be the bearer of the bad news, but in a move which is set to devastate countless RHCP fans today, the band have cancelled their Irish dates.

According to emerging reports, the Chilis have been forced to postpone their 3Arena gigs – scheduled for tomorrow and Wednesday – due to illness.

Releasing a statement to alert their fans to the change, the band said: "We are so sorry that we cannot come to Dublin as planned for the next few days."

"Anthony has been fighting off the flu all week and after the show last night it was clear that he has to stop touring and recover, hence the decision to push back the shows to next year."

It has been confirmed that the gigs have been rescheduled, and the band will now take to the Dublin stage on September 20 and 21 next year.

Excuse us while we scream into our pillows.

According to emerging reports, one of our favourite Hollywood stars has tied the knot!

Margot Robbie, who ha been dating Tom Ackerley since meeting on the set of Suite Francaise in 2014, is said to have taken the plunge in a ceremony on Byron Bay last night.

It has been reported that the Suicide Squad star exchanged vows with Tom in front of family and friends during the private ceremony at a luxury wedding venue in Ewingsdale.

While the couple themselves have yet to comment on reports, sources close to the high-profile pair have offered an insight into their decision-making.

"The Gold Coast was somewhere she always wanted to get married, given it's where she was raised as a kid on her grandparents' farm," an insider reportedly revealed.

"They decided to get marry around Christmas so they could spend time with both their families afterwards, which they've never done before."

According to those in the know, the Ackerleys are preparing to spend Christmas Down Under with the Robbies.

We lurve Twitter, so when heard about this deadly charity campaign that lets us pop a light on a Christmas tree every time we tweet, we were well on board.

When most of us think about killer whales, we generally cast our mind back to the childhood movie Free Willy and the orca who befriended a boy, who eventually went on to save him – yes, we all know the story!

But, a recently released video will have you looking at killer whales in a whole new light – with the emphasis on KILLER.

Posted to the Monterey Bay Whale Watch Facebook page, the team shared the moment their drone caught on camera an offshore killer whale eating a SHARK. A sevengill shark to be exact.

And while we all know that these majestic black and white whales are predators, it's a pretty rare sight to catch on camera and – while we feel for the poor shark – it is nothing short of majestic. 

The way the pod works together to make sure they all get fed, while their babies swim beside is simply incredible.

And obviously people on Facebook were going bananas for it:

“This was something that was absolutely unexpected, and surprising. Just goes to show you the true balance of nature and not all things are really on the top of the food chain,” wrote one, while another commented: “Amazing!”

International beauty pageants: when a collection of accomplished women come together in a fierce battle of beauty, brains, poise, and… great teeth.

And last night, Miss World 2016 was crowned in London – with Miss Puerto Rico Stephanie Del Valle being decreed the overall winner.

The moment was undoubtedly a high-point for the 19-year-old model – who currently resides in New York where she is furthermore studying for a degree in communications. 

However, and both flanking the winner while holding her hand, Top 5 finalists Miss Philippines Catriona Gray and Miss Kenya Evelyn Thungu couldn't hide their personal disappointment as the result was announced.

Stephanie also beat runners-up Miss Philippines Catriona Gray and Miss Kenya Evelyn Thungu to nab the title.

Miss Ireland Niamh Kennedy sadly did not place – but she proudly represented her country and looked stunning for the final in a sweeping green gown.

The Middleton household is certainly in for plenty of fun this Christmas time with Prince George, three, Princess Charlotte, 18-months, running around.

And it seems that their royal parents Kate and Wills will break with tradition for the second time: they are reportedly snubbing the Queen to spend the festive season with the Duchess's family.

Following a busy year, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have opted for a “private” Christmas with the Middletons this year, a royal source told DailyMail.com.

Thankfully, Queen Elizabeth II is said to “understand” the couple’s "dilemma," (which impacts many families at this time of year) as well as recognising the closeness of Catherine’s relationship with her family.

The source added: “Indeed that is why she has long included Mr and Mrs Middleton in family events. She thinks they have conducted themselves impeccably and with enormous dignity over the years.”

The couple, who also spent Christmas with the Middletons in 2011 – the year they married – will be the only royals not in attendance on Christmas Day.

All other high-profile royals will spend Christmas with the Queen and Prince Philip at the famed Sandringham House in Norfolk. 

Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry, Princess Anne, and Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex are all making the trip. 

The Queen's pregnant granddaughter, Zara, and her husband Mike Tindall, along with their three-year-old daughter Mia, will also be in attendance.

Look, we'd be the first to admit that the merest hint of a headcold has us wheeling out age-old remedies before diving beneath a duvet.

But much and all as we loathe our bi-annual dose, we don't think we'd have the courage to prevent their emergence with a cold shower…. on the daily.

Oh, that's right ladies, according to recent research, braving a cold shower helps ward off the common cold by boosting your immune system.

In a study conducted by Dutch researchers, more than 3,000 individuals aged between 18 and 65 were encouraged to take short, cold showers every single day for a month.

Interestingly, the participants who took cold showers on the daily took 29% fewer days sick leave than the control group who languished in long, hot showers every morning.

"The most commonly reported beneficial effect was an increase in perceived energy levels, including many reported comparisons to the effect of caffeine," researchers confirmed.

Explaining the motivation behind the study, researchers explained: "Cold water has been used therapeutically for many centuries and continues using modern technology."

"Hippocrates, the father of medicine, who added rubbing to cold bathing, was accustomed to use cold water in his treatment of the most serious illnesses."

And nope, we won't be trying it.

2016 was a year of huge change for Lisa Cannon, but with a new year comes new excitement for the TV3 presenter who says she and husband Richard Keatley are hoping to start a family.

 After 10 years on Xpose, Lisa was dealt the sharp and sudden blow that she would not be a part of the new presenting line-up.

However, moving to TV3’s Weekend AM, Lisa says the change has allowed her to think about the bigger picture and it looks like children are very much a part of that.

“I am looking at a family,” the 38-year-old told the Irish Daily Mail.

“That is something that is a big aspect and something that Richard and I are talking about.”

The TV presenter went on to gush about the thought of having children with her husband who she wed last year, saying:

“Of course I would love kids and who wouldn’t want to procreate with Richard Keatley? He is gorgeous!”

Ladies, our prayers have been answered.

In a move which will majorly revolutionise our messaging experience (and let's face it, lower our blood pressure), WhatsApp are currently developing a feature which will allow us to revoke, recall or edit our messages AFTER they've been sent.

So if you've ever sent a message by accident or seriously regretted its tone after pressing send, the good folk behind the service are now giving us the opportunity to turn back time and pretend it never even happened.

That's right ladies, in much the same way you are given the option to copy or forward a message by pressing down on the screen, you will soon be offered the option to edit, recall or revoke.

And frankly, we are reeling with relief and excitement.

The feature, which will only work if the recipient hasn't read the message, is currently being trialled on iPhone beta software, and users who have access to the early beta release have explained that the function must be enabled by users as it will not automatically appear as a feature.

And if you're an Android user? Well, reports have yet to be confirmed whether you guys will have access to the new feature, but fingers crossed!

While 2016 has been an absolute sh*tshow for most, Geordie lass, Scarlett Moffatt, has watched her career go from strength to strength over the last 12 months.

"She is young, very funny and just the type of presenter Channel 4 are looking for to front their version of the show."

"Scarlett may be inexperienced but the thinking is she could be paired with a more senior co-host," the insider added.

When TV execs coined the title Keeping Up With the Kardashians, we're certain no one envisioned the sheer amount of 'keeping up' we'd have to do over the course of nine years, but the last 12 months have definitely taken the biscuit.

From armed robberies and hospitalisations to the arrival of a new baby, the Kardashians have been through serious highs and lows in 2016, and with just two weeks to go until the new year, it looks like Rob and Blac Chyna have decided to squeeze in one last drama.

Following reports that Chyna had deserted Rob after exchanges between herself and male celebrities had been made public, Rob has taken to social media to discuss the impact the breakdown of his relationship has had.

"I thought this was going to be the best year of my life, had a beautiful baby Dream and haven’t spent Christmas with family in years and I just can’t believe she really hurt me this way," he told fans on Snapchat.

But according to People, it sounds like Chyna is having none of it.

Taking to her own social media channels, the mother-of-two insisted that she refuses to play the bad guy in this situation, writing: "I’M DONE. This entire year I have done nothing but help Rob! It’s so SAD & PATHETIC how low he’d stoop to cover up HIS PERSONAL ISSUES!"

In an Instagram post which has since been deleted, she continued: "I have done nothing but help & loved him from the beginning! It’s Chy here I got my own!!! I was doing swell before I got with him!"

"I got him out of Khloe’s house, helped him lose all that f***ing weight for him to do nothing & gain it all back! Rob asked for all of this!"

"Rob begged me to have Dream! He stressed me out my ENTIRE PREGNANCY!!! Accusing me of cheating, going crazy on me with massive text blast daily! being an absolute lunatic & then cover it up with gifts!" Chyna revealed.

Giving a further insight into their volatile relationship, Chyna continued: "I was verbally abused every other day. I was still there with nothing but high hopes for us! I had to beg him to cut his hair. To take his braces of, and To get more into his businesses!" (sic)

"We weren’t together in that house 2 whole weeks before he starting calling me all types of bitches & hoes! AND I NEVER NOT ONCE CHEATED ON ROB! EVER! I gave him the passcode to my phone I have nothing to hide."

"He refuses to do anything! Eat healthy, work out, work, anything positive, he does nothing! Those Messages OLD AF! He only did this because when he went through my phone he couldn’t find anything to be mad about!"

Concluding the lengthy post with a reference to Rob's world-famous family, Chyna wrote: "He’s on snapchat acting hurt but he’s yet to come see Dream yet! He knows where we are! Honestly it’s only so much a person can take. Everyone has tried to help Rob. I’ve gone beyond to help & so has his family!”

Well, this is clearly going to get worse before it gets better.
