Remember the last time you managed to remove a spider from your home without suffering a nervous breakdown?

Yeah, us neither.

And that is because the arrival of a spider in your home always has – and always will – signal complete and utter hysteria… unless you're Jason Wormal and his neighbour, that is.

The tradesman from Coppabella in Queensland was setting off for work when his neighbour suggested he take a peek at what was going down next door.

"So I am just about to leave for work about 00.30 and me neighbour says ‘You want to see something cool’ and I say ‘Hell yeah'" he wrote in a Facebook post which is currently sending social media into meltdown.

“So we proceed to his place and he shows me this. Huntsman trying to eat a mouse." he wrote alongside footage of a spider hauling a mouse across his neighbour's kitchen.

Unlike the rest of us who would have had to be sedated, Jason whipped out his phone and filmed the Godforsaken exchange.

Uploading the footage to Facebook, Jason joked: "Ok guys so just letting you all know that the spider is fine."

"We have named him Hermie, we have adopted him and he is now running his own extermination business out of our town Coppabella. Oh and he is now paying rent."

The footage has been viewed more than 6,000,000 times so far, and if anyone need us we'll be lying in a darkened room.

Amy Childs has confirmed that she is expecting her first child with on-off boyfriend Bradley Wright.

The former TOWIE star revealed to OK! that she is 12 weeks pregnant, having reunited with Bradley in March after he was released from jail.

Amy told the magazine: “I feel so overwhelmed and I keep waking up smiling.”

“We’ve wanted a baby for so long so we’re happier than ever.”

The boutique owner explained that she had hoped to conceive before her 25-year-old partner was imprisoned for handling stolen goods, but feared she was unable to have children naturally because at the time she did not fall pregnant.

“We wanted [a baby] before Bradley went to prison but it didn’t happen,” she confessed. “I didn’t think I could get pregnant.”

“We’d been together for nine months and I came off the pill [that] summer and I thought it might take me ages. I was taking folic acid but it didn’t happen.  I was really panicking.”

Having first met in an Essex pub in 2014, the 26-year-old reality star split with Bradley last October after discovering he had been sentenced to 16 months in jail.

Upon being released early for good behaviour, Bradley went about winning Amy back.

While we might like to assume that stars become life-long friends after starring alongside each other in Hollywood blockbusters, it's not that realistic a notion, in fairness.

However, one lad who is doing his best to perpetuate the theory is none other than Mr Tom Cruise.

After appearing together in War of the Worlds over ten years ago, Dakota Fanning revealed that her co-star still makes an effort to keep in touch by marking the actress's birthday every year.

While appearing on Watch What Happens Live, Dakota, now 22, admitted she thought the A-lister would bring the tradition to an end at a certain point, but reveals that it doesn't look like he's planning to.

"He has sent me a birthday gift every year since I was 11 years old,” Dakota told the host. “Beautiful gifts."

“I always think, ‘Oh, when I’m 18, he’ll probably stop. Oh, 21, he’ll stop. But every year. It’s really kind."

And if you're wondering how good ol' Tom fares on the birthday front, it sounds like he knows exactly what he's doing as Dakota reveals: "It’s usually shoes."

Clearly loving life as a mum to baby Luna, Chrissy Teigen is not shy about sharing her little one's milestones on social media.

Whether it’s her daughter’s Instagram debut, or the first time she started ‘cooking’, the Sports Illustrated model loves sharing snaps and videos of six-month-old Luna, and this Sunday was no different.

Taking to her Instagram page to share an adorable video of her feeding her little girl, Chrissy was clearly delighted as her daughter managed to get at least some of her green beans into her mouth!

Captioning the video “her first savoury bite – green beans. The laugh! Many tears. Oh my lulu,” the 30-year-old gave us all a little insight into life in the Teigen-Legend household.

And when Luna turns her head to look at the camera there is no mistaking that she is John Legend’s daughter – she is the absolute spits!

The post comes not long after Chrissy was shamed for the way she was holding her daughter, something that the mum-of-one did not take lying down.

"Photos are literally split-second moments in time that evolve. I despise mommy shamers. I am a proud shamer of mommy shamers," Chrissy tweeted at the time.

Sadly, that was not the first time she has had to deal with trolls who take it upon themselves to comment on how she parents.

About ten days after the birth of Luna, Chrissy was shamed for heading out for dinner with her husband, who was frustrated that the shame was only directed at her and not him.

“Funny there’s no dad-shaming. When both of us go out to dinner, shame both of us so Chrissy doesn’t have to take it all. We’ll split it,” he said at the time.

At least five people have died after a plane crash in Malta.

Local media reports that the aircraft was operated by the French government. 

The plane went down in shortly after take-off from Malta International Airport at around 7.20am local time (6.20am Irish time) today and is now Malta's worst peacetime air accident. 

A witness told the Times Of Malta the propeller plane suddenly tipped to its right side and "went straight down to the ground", exploding into flames.

Further footage taken from another plane on the tarmac showed the wreckage burning in a field.

Airport officials said the flight was heading for the city of Misrata in Libya. It is thought all the dead are French and were crew. 

 

All departures and arrivals at Malta International Airport have now been stopped. Flights are currently being diverted to Sicily.

Testimony from a lawsuit which Taylor Swift initiated against radio DJ, Robert Jackson Mueller, in 2015 has found its way online and offers an unsettling insight into the singer's encounter with the host.

With the courts having released Taylor's deposition, the public have been given a detailed version of the events which led to the host's dismissal.

In a video deposition, Taylor recalled the meet and greet where she claims Robert Mueller touched her inappropriately,

"Right as the moment came for us to pose for the photo, he took his hand and put it up my dress and grabbed onto my ass cheek and no matter how much I scooted over it was still there."

It was completely intentional, I've never been so sure of anything in my life," the Out of the Woods singer claimed.

“I remember being frantic, distressed, feeling violated in a way I had never experienced before," she continued.

"A meet-and-greet is supposed to be a situation where you’re thanking people for coming, you’re supposed to be welcoming people into your home, which is the arena for that day, and for someone to violate that hospitality in that way, I was completely stunned.”

Taylor's allegations against Mueller resulted in his attempting to sue her for defamation – a move which Taylor responded to by counterclaiming.

Legal papers on the matter state: "Resolution of this Counterclaim will demonstrate that Mueller alone was the perpetrator of the humiliating and wrongful conduct targeted against Ms. Swift, and will serve as an example to other women who may resist publicly reliving similar outrageous and humiliating acts."

Taylor's representatives have confirmed that any money won in the case will be donated to charities working to protect women from sexual assault.

He’s been linked to Jennifer Aniston, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift, but it seems John Mayer could now have his eye on pop princess Demi Lovato.

The famous pair were spotted getting close in an exclusive rooftop restaurant and club in West Hollywood over the weekend, with sources saying the Gravity singer had his arm wrapped around the 24-year-old Confident star.

An eyewitness told Us Weekly: “John had his arm around Demi and was whispering sweet nothings into her ear.”

“She was into it,” they continued.  “They weren’t making out or anything, but she was giggling the whole time.”

Another insider told the site that the performers “chatted it up for over an hour”, with the 39-year-old suggesting that Demi “has one of the greatest voices”.

It might be happy days for newlywed Maci Bookout, but unfortunately her Teen Mom OG co-stars are not quite ready to settle down.

Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood reportedly became embroiled in a physical fight over the weekend after Farrah compared Amber’s beau, Matt Baier, to a “paedophile”.

According to Us Weekly, the alleged altercation took place while the girls were filming the Teen Mom OG reunion show with Dr Drew Pinsky.

After the show’s host quizzed Farrah and her on/off boyfriend, Simon Saran, on his decision to suggest Matt was a paedophile on Snapchat, the controversial model interrupted her BAE’s potential apology and said: “Well, [Matt] does kind of look like a paedophile.”

Sources say 26-year-old Amber – who recently underwent a “Mommy Makeover” in a bid to get her pre-baby body back – then raced onstage to defend Matt, while Farrah’s dad jumped in to protect his daughter.

Although we’re sure Dr Drew did his best to resolve the controversy, it seems 25-year-old Farrah and her partner are not backing down as Simon has since tweeted: “Recap of reunion: @amberportwood trotting around like a hippo.  Matt and another senior citizen in a small scuffle.  #teenmomog.”

An Afghan Hound has become an unlikely Internet sensation after images of her glossy hair began to drive dog lovers delirious.

Tea, the “supermodel” dog from Sydney, went viral this week after her owner, Luke Kavanagh, posted a picture of her lying on a bench to Facebook.

The image has now been shared more than one million times as fans admire five-year-old Tea’s impressive coat.

Speaking of the retired show dog, Luke told Local News that Tea can’t go anywhere without attracting attention.

“We always thought that she was far too pretty to keep at home,” he said.

“Even our weekend walks draw a crowd.  She pretends she doesn’t need the attention, but she definitely loves it, just like any supermodel.”

Since accidentally achieving viral fame, Tea has been approached by advertising companies and has taken up animal acting.

With hair like that, it would have been wrong not to!

Yes, you did read that correctly, apparently beer is the source of all our power.

We all know the pain that comes with watching our phone's battery drain, but it would seem that beer may be the answer to this.

Scientists at the University of Colorado recently discovered that beer could be of great assistance in helping them on their mission to find sustainable sources of power.

 APPARENTLY, the wastewater produced during the beer brewing process process can be used to power lithium-ion batteries.

Welcome to the 21st Century people…

The scientists discovered that wastewater is actually the perfect home for growing a fungus (gross) called Neurospora crassa, “which creates one of the most efficient, naturally derived electrodes used in lithium-ion batteries.”

As part of The X Factor’s biggest success story, Niall Horan was surely once the apple of Simon Cowell’s eye.

But ever since signing with Universal, it seems the Mullingar man’s relationship with his former mentor has gone downhill.

X Factor sources have told The Sun that despite having a new song out, Niall will not be asked to perform as part of this year’s series because Simon believes he lacks loyalty.

The insider said: “Niall hasn’t been invited to sing on any of the remaining live shows, despite having a big release.  That’s not an oversight from the bookings team, it’s intentional.”

“Simon really thought the 1D boys would show loyalty after he mentored them on the show and made them the huge global success they are.  Instead they went behind his back,” they continued.

“He’s not going to do them any favours.  He knows artists love performing on the show as there are eight million viewers to promote their songs to.”

A source close to the 23-year-old singer says he is well aware of the situation with Simon but suggested that he has chosen to take the high road.

“They knew when he didn’t sign with Syco he wouldn’t be appearing on The X Factor. Everyone is totally fine.”

“He’s extremely proud and grateful for everything The X Factor did for him,” they said.
