It’s all about to get seriously emotional on Sunday night’s X Factor – which begins at 8pm.

Yes, in the second instalment of the reality TV show’s inaugural weekend for 2015, Cheryl Fernandez Versini AND Simon Cowell both end up in tears… at the same time.

Josh Daniels’s version of Jealous by Labrinth evidently proved incredibly moving – especially as the contestant dedicated his performance to his best friend who died at the age of 18.

At the time of the audition, Mr Cowell was still freshly grieving for his own mother: Julie died aged 89 in London in early July.

Daniel can be seen tonight telling the judges: “I lost my best friend a couple of years ago.

“We were really, really close, we did everything together. He’s moved on to a better place and I can’t be with him.

“I’m jealous that he’s happy in heaven.”

Then, as his performance progresses, Simon can be seen wiping a tear from his eye. The rest of the judges (Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw as well as Cheryl) eventually give the X Factor hopeful a standing ovation, although Simon remains far too emotional to speak.

Meanwhile, and despite a publicity push, several overhauls, and a rake of new faces in front of cameras, Saturday night’s opening episode last night failed to impress when compared to other series.

Now in its 12th series, it managed to tempt a total of 7.6million viewers to watch, but even last year that figure stood at close-to 9million.

At the height of X Factor mania in 2011, around 11 to 12million people were hooked weekly.

Every-so-often, New York City sparks a food craze: last year it was Cronuts – and this year it seems to be an innovative type of ice cream that has fans queuing for hours to get their hands on.

It only opened in July, but 10Below in Manhattan's hip Chinatown already has a cult following – fuelled by Instagram posts featuring its quirky, cold creations.

Popular flavours (there are currently a total of eight on offer) include I Love You A Latte, cold-brew coffee with chocolate chips, Monkey Business, crème anglaise, Nutella and banana, and an Oreo-packed Cookie Monster.

It's ice cream – but with a twist inspired by Thai ice cream rolls.

The frozen concoction is created by pouring liquid homemade ice cream onto a cold plate which has been chilled to minus 10C (hence the name).

The expert 10Below staff then mix in toppings, flatten it out like a crepe, and then scrape it into ice-cold rolls with a putty-knife-like tool.

They sell for €6.25 a pop and the New York Post has already called it the summer's "most Instagrammable dessert".

Taking about four minutes to create, the creators call you over to their cold plate before they begin so you can get a front-row view — understandably leading to countless social media-friendly posts.

Originally founded by Richard Tam, 23, before long his 28-year-old brother, Wilson, and their friend, David Chen, 22, were on board too.

Richard first saw the technique in a Facebook video of a friend’s trip to Thailand, and he jumped at the chance to leave behind accountancy to turn his ice cream-making hobby into a career.

It seems the resulting sweet treats pass the taste-test too: one 23-year-old who tried out 10Below told the New York Post that her Monkey Business was like "having Beyoncé serenade you in ice cream form".

“Every single bite was the perfect blend of Nutella and frozen banana,” she added.

Any chance of 10Below coming to Ireland, so?? In the meantime, you can follow the guys on Instagram here.

Coláiste Laurel Hill is a non-fee paying school, but Dublin private schools are well-represented too: Gonzaga, Alexandra College, and Mount Anville all feature.

Furthermore, Limerick's famed Glenstal Abbey, which charges €18,000 a year for boarders and close-to €11,000 annually for day-pupils, appears.

The Ten Top rated schools are listed below, with last year's position in brackets:

Do you remember the popping candy we used to all get as kids? The minute you put one on your mouth there was a tiny explosion of sugar.

Now imagine that on your face.

Perhaps they explain the thrill for the new next-level skin care: fizzing face masks.

A face mask that froths, bubbles and explodes on your skin! We reckon this sounds oh-so interesting, so SHEmazing! decided to investigate further.

It seems that the foaming formulas penetrate more easily into the skin and help remove dirt, oil and impurities. The addictive fizzing treatments use a layer of bubbles that activate ingredients to stop breakouts so they are perfect for people who are prone to acne.

The remedy enlists clay and carbon dioxide to coax oxygen to the skin's surface. It foams up to nearly cartoonish proportions before washing away and leaving your skin smooth and silky.

We have also found some of the best fizzing masks on the market for you to try out – with prices from just €3.

Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions – €30

Sanctuary 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask – €3.99

Soap and Glory No Clogs Allowed Deep Detox Mask – €3

Super Facialist Salicylic Acid Anti Blemish Mask – €11.99

We all love a good fashion blog or website: as well as providing plenty of fashion eye candy, they also make sourcing outfit inspiration a cinch.

And while anyone can start a blog, it takes something very special to make it really successful.

Unless you're a celebrity that is.

Then you have a ready-made base of adoring fans just dying to find out the secret to your red-carpet style or on-screen looks.

Here, SHEmazing! rounds up five of th bestare the amazing fashion and lifestyle blogs from Hollywood's elite:

Gwyneth Palthrow – Goop

Of course Gwyneth has a blog – and it's probably one of the best known celebrity contributions to the online fashion world.

And while some of her posts are occassionally mocked for their extreme Earth Mother traits, Goop is also a serious gold mine for all things fashion, beauty, food and even home goods.

Ashley TisdaleThe Haute Mess

Ashley is the newest edition to the celeb blogger bunch – and we LOVE what she's offered so far. In particular, the actress is dedicated to serving up real-life style hacks for the everyday girl, which gets a 10/10 from us.

Reese WitherspoonDraper James

Are you dying to get your hands on Reese's chic summer dresses and gorgeous tote bags? Well now you can, all through her website.

This was launched earlier this year and has always proved to be an immense success: the clothing, accessories, beauty gadgets and cosmetics regularly sell-out. And we can see why – the crop on offer is to die for.

Blake LivelyPreserve

This is everything you dreamed it would be and more! Full of chic bohemian trends, mouth-watering recipes and inspiring artisan goods, Blake's blog is pretty much the definition of ah-mazing. We're officialy hooked – as are millions of others.

Ellen DegeneresEd by Ellen

She may be TV's most hilarious talk-show host, but Ellen has got some serious style as you will see on her blog. Even better, right now she has a 40 percent off sale on select items.

Alessandra AmbrosioÁle by Alessandra

The Victoria's Secret Angel shares everything on her website – from her make-up, shopping, bikinis and of course – her glorious bod. We're filing this firmly under 'aspirational,' but that doesn't make it any less appealing.

In order for your body to function healthy, you need to make sure you're consuming the right amount of essential vitamins in your everyday diet.

And just so you know, your beloved chicken-and-broccoli Chinese take-away platter at 1.45am does not suffice!

So if you're not 100 percent SURE you're meeting your daily requirements of these vitamins; here's a list of red flags you need to look out for.

Signs you need:

Vitamin A

  • Dry eyes
  • Scaling skin
  • Dry hair
  • Poor night-time vision

Vitamin A encourages healthy cell production and heals wounds, as well as boosting your immune system.

Vitamin C

  • Impaired wound healing
  • Prone to bruising
  • Nosebleeds
  • Bleeding gums

Vitamin C has an antioxidant that protects against illnesses such as heart disease and asthma.

Vitamin D

  • Softened bones
  • Infectious to diseases like the flu

There are no clear signs of vitamin D deficiency, however, being out in the sunlight, eating enough almonds and fatty fish are certainly a great start.

It sounds like the perfect solution: no nasty direct debit gym memberships and no having to haul yourself from the couch to the gym on a wet and windy winter evening.

But breaking a sweat at home isn't always easy – not least when but don't have a clue where to start in terms of equipment.

In fact, if you don't choose your at-home workout stables carefully, you run the risk of wasting money on devices that are poorly designed, difficult to use or simply take up too much space.

After all, how many machines end up as clothes racks after a month or so?

So here, SHEmazing! details three of the key things you need to consider before setting up your ultimate at-home workout area:

Available space

Some machines can take up a lot of space so you need to consider where to place it. Equipment varies in size so measure everything and double check it will fit – otherwise it will probably end up in the attic or shed.

Features

A clever thing to do is make a list of all the features you want your equipment to have. This way you won't be disappointed when it arrives and only has half of the things you want. Equally, forking out for fancy-pants stuff that boasts a load of advanced specifications you don't need or want is a waste.

Budget

The best home-equipment is often expensive and you should think of it as an investment. Do keep in mind that quality matters – you will likely get a better workout from a more expensive, solidly built, and reliable machine that will hold up through daily use. Otherwise you run the risk of the machine breaking down early on.

It was the attire made famous by Britney Spears a decade-and-a-half ago during her hit Oops, I Did It Again video and subsequent performances of the song.

And now a strikingly similar red, Latex one-piece has been once again worn on-stage – albeit this time by Girls Aloud singer, Sarah Harding.

The 33-year-old was performing as part of the Manchester Pride festival over the weekend – and despite being a notoriously difficult item of clothing to pull off, the catsuit nevertheless showed off Sarah's gorgeous figure to full-effect.

However, it comes with an occupational hazard: namely the presence of the dreaded camel-toe, which even Ms Harding was unable to avoid.

She also sported heavy eye makeup, with exaggerated eyelashes.

Still, her fans took to social media afterwards to praise her energetic performance, which mainly included songs from her Girls Aloud days.

On Twitter, one user called her "red hot," complimenting her "sizzling performance". And on Instagram, another said: "She smashed it!!! Great performance by @sarahnicoleharding !!! Very proud."

Sarah is evidently a big fan of Latex: she wore the same material for a performance at G-A-Y in London earlier this month.

OK – so we always suspected that Katy Perry wasn't the kinda gal that you mess not.

But then, we love the Roar songstress for her ability to speak up and speak out.

And it seems that Ms Perry isn't afraid to put her critics firmly in their place either – especially when they're questioning her singing ability.

At a concert in Melbourne, staged as part of her massive, on-going Prismatic World Tour, Katy asked a fan in the audience for her phone so she could take a selfie.

Upon inspecting the device, however, the singer realised that the woman was in the middle of a WhatsApp conversation – and that the guy at the other end of the messages had stated Ms Perry "couldn't sing live at all".

Responding, the 30-year-old megastar takes a selfie, which she duly sends to her detractor along with the scathing line: "You thought I would never see this chat. You dickless monkey. You have no balls, pussy. C***."

Ouch.

Katy is also horrified to hear subsequently that the man is actually an EX boyfriend of the concert-goer.

"What are you doing?" she asks. "Do NOT text your ex."

It seems that the incident took place late last year – but has only came to light over the last few days when the lady to whom the phone belongs shared the interaction online.

She's been spotted with the professional basketball player since at least June

And it seems things are definitely hotting up between Khloe Kardashian and James Harden.

Not only has he been seen at a load of high-profile Kardashian-Jenner family events in recent months, but his reality TV love also threw him a mega bash for his recent 26th birthday.

Last night, the duo enjoyed a date together, and suffice to say that 31-year-old Khloe looked incredible.

Donning a full-length Mugler dress in dark navy, she teamed her gown with Tom Ford shoes and accessories from Shay Jewelry

Indeed, the family is a fan of the Mugler label: one of Kylie Jenner's two outfits – a white leather skirt and matching crop-top – for her high-profile 18th birthday in Canada was also from the same designer.

This year, Khloe has also regularly been spotted in Mugler attire. Available from modaoperani.com, her latest example costs in the region of €3,600.

For James's birthday bash, which she hosted on board a luxurious yacht in California, Khloe afterwards admitted that she was incredibly nervous that everything went to plan.

Indeed, she said that her stylist had to endure "hundreds of crazy and controlling texts" in the run-up to the big night.

"I know I stress you out but you work great under pressure," she added in an Instagram post directed at Monica Rose.

And although a late-night, celebratory fire-works display caused anger among residents in the area, in the end her outfit at least was widely applauded: a white lace bodysuit and full-length white skirt with a high split.

She also carried a Givenchy bag and wore nude Laboutins

There are tens of thousands of popular Instagram accounts which chart weight-loss.

The user's progress is documented in workout sessions, calories consumed, kilos shed, and dress-sizes – not to mention the requisite before-and-after shots.

However, one young woman has decided to do the opposite: Amalie Lee is instead charting her weight-gain.

A recovering anorexic, she is championing her new body shape through a series of gorgeous pictures that are now inspiring others.

The 20-year-old also shares snaps of her food intake: a refreshing selection of Nutella-covered crepes, jelly sweets, bars of chocolate and ice cream.

A native of Norway, but studying at a university in London, Amalie says her struggles began in 2012.

“I went through a depressive phase in my mid-teens, and my perception of myself hit an all-time low," she says now.

"I just wanted to disappear. My eating disorder was never about looking like a model, it was a way to cope.

"I made bizarre rules for myself about what I allowed myself to eat, when, where — even what spoon to use."

Ms Lee says she resisted treatment initially, but gradually came to realise that, with her BMI dropping dangerously low, she could end up dead.

In 2013, she entered hospital as an out-patient and began rehibilitating.

"There wasn’t a magic moment where I had a recovery revelation, it was many small things at once that made me choose recovery," explains Amalie, who has chosen not to disclose her lowest or current weight, lest it act as a trigger to others.

2013 vs 2015. Anorexia did not just randomly "let me go", and vanished by itself. I let go of anorexia, and it was not easy. Stop waiting for a perfect future moment when you are ready to recover, because life is what passes by whilst you waste your time waiting. Start NOW. There is no perfect recovery, perfect meal plan, perfect weight gain. You have to eat, sometimes you feel like you are exploding, expanding into infinity and loosing control, but you are not. By allowing yourself to heal you are IN control. Eating a whole chocolate cake by yourself because your body is so goddamn desperate after all the restriction, is actually GOOD, both for body and mind. We live in a society that labels calories as something negative, but that is not right! Calories allow your heart to beat and your hair to grow. Without calories, there is no recovery or life. Calorie is a term for energy, everything around you is energy, calories are your bodies energy, just like electricity for a light bulb and battery for your phone✨ Sometimes, when it hurts, it means you are doing something right. I sincerely believe there is hope for every eating disorder sufferer. The brain ghosts (as @fightthepoop nicely names it) will haunt you at times after the recovery process is gone, but those thoughts are not dangerous unless you turn them into actions. The screaming ED voice will gradually give up when it sees that you don't obey, and it will eventually turn into occasional whispering. IT GETS BETTER #realcovery

A photo posted by REDEFINING HEALTHY (@amalielee) on

She only began her Instagram account, which she has named Redefining Healthy, less than three weeks ago, but has already gained more than 72,000 followers.

"Luckily I got good treatment," she reflects now. "I learned a lot, both from my treatment personnel."

Weight-wise, by the spring of 2014 she was declared fit and well, though she adds that "it takes longer to recover mentally".

Amalie also posts positive messages to her fans, and challenges the assumptions surrounding eating disorders.

"Most people with eating disorders are normal- to overweight," she highlighted in one recent post. "Most people with eating disorders don't have clinical anorexia nervosa.

"There is NO such thing as being 'too big' for an eating disorder. Not all underweight people have eating disorders or are unhealthy."

She concluded in the same post: "We need to stop labelling and judging, and start accepting that people come in different sizes, and that is OK."
