Science has proven that this emotionally distressing time is a legitimate phenomenomnom- sorry, phenomenon.

The truth is, when you’re hungry, your blood sugar is low so the chances of you getting a little extra feisty are going to increase very quickly.

Haven’t we all said some things when our stomach was rumbling that we just wish we could take back?

Sometimes it’s just best to throw some food in our general direction and back away slowly. We’ll be back to our cheerful selves after a quick snack. Or two…

If you’re one of the lucky people that doesn’t suffer from hanger issues, then you should be aware that these are some of the potentially relationship ending issues we face on a daily basis.

We have to apologise, a lot.

Summoning all of our patience when service is a little slow at restaurants.

The distress when your friends can’t agree on a place to eat.

Happy hour after work. Why not happy dinner? Dinner makes everyone happy!

Road trips can be extra stressful. Getting lost isn’t an issue. Getting lost and running out of snacks is a dire situation.

Better safe than sorry…

He raised eyebrows on Thursday when he was spotted hanging out with his ex in the south of France.

But despite the resulting swirling rumour and widespread criticism, Scott Disick showed no signs of mending his ways.

Indeed, he's been happy to spend a second day with 25-year-old Chloe Bartoli – the same woman with which he was seen getting VERY tactile with earlier this week.

This time, the duo took their friendship abroad a luxury yacht. 

His 36-year-old partner of more than a decade, and the mother of his three children, remains behind in California.

She gave birth to their son, Reign, in December. They are also parents to Mason, five, and Penelope, three. 

Climbing abroad the yacht, Scott was seen wearing a cheetah-print shirt and green tropical shorts, which he teamed with a black baseball cap and black loafers. He also wore a grey hoodie and carried a can of Heineken beer.

Chloe, whom he is believed to have dated before he met Kourtney, wore tiny denim hot-pants, a loose grey t-shirt, and a navy fedora hat.

The pair chatted warmly while out at sea, sitting close to one another.

Meanwhile, Ms Kardashian is evidently focusing on family: last night she held a pyjama party for her three children. 

She was also seen yesterday out and about in California, looking amazing in dark skinny jeans and a tight white top. She also had on snake-print Louboutins.

Neither party has commented publicly on the matter.

Two of our favourite Irish celebrities were having a great night out in London last night.

Enjoying the Red Bull Tropical Edition party, with none other than model Kendall Jenner and Ed Sheeran’s ex girlfriend Athina Andelos, the pair were spotted at The Box in Soho, London.

The happy party-goers were positively giddy posing for photos and sipping on some champagne during their night out.

21-year old One Direction favourite Niall has been enjoying his break from touring by attending the matches at Wimbeldon and socialising with some famous faces.

TV presenter Laura looked fabulous with her sun kissed blonde locks super stylish all black outfit.

Niall also embraced the all-black-everything vibe at the party. He certainly has a reason to celebrate as earlier this year it was revealed that the pop star raked in over €1 million just by agreeing to tour with One Direction.

That was before they even sold and tickets or performed at any venues. Nice.

Recently the Mullingar native was being linked to superstar Arianna Grande, it seems like Niall is quite the popular lad with the famous ladies.

Athina is spotted in some group photos from the night. She and singer Ed dated for just over a year before they broke up in March this year.

The two met when she was a tour manager for his opening act. She currently works with celebrity chef Jamie Oliver according to her Twitter bio.

Meanwhile, rumours are circulating again that Niall and Laura could possibly be involved romantically.

Laura and Niall have squashed relationship rumours in the past though. With the pair saying they’re just friends.

Peter Andre and his wife to be Emily McDonagh just can’t keep their hands off each other it seems.

Earlier this week the pair were posting some intimate snaps from their bedroom on Instagram. A rare peek into the life of the normally very private duo.

The pair, who Peter has revealed are planning to marry before this time next year, rarely make appearances together.

However, the couple were on hand to walk the red carpet together at the Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards on Friday.

 

 

The father of three and his 25-year old fiancé, who is the mom of baby Amelia, the couple’s first child together, looked very fashion forward at the event.

The qualified doctor and her 42-year old partner were all smiles on the red carpet with Peter seeming as loved-up as ever after their romantic getaway in Cyprus.

Posing on the red carpet together the happy couple seemed pretty giddy with Peter giving his young fiancé adoring smiles and tenderly touching her tummy.

His public displays of affection on Friday have driven speculation that Emily may be pregnant with the couple’s second child into over drive.

With Peter previously mentioning that the pair would be happy to put their wedding on hold in order to add to their family, it could be a possibility sometime in the near future.

The Mysterious Girl singer revealed in his column for new! Magazine that he is already making plans for Emily’s second pregnancy and his own paternity leave.

Peter said that “I've decided with the next one I want a month off before the baby's born and six months off afterwards.”

If all goes to plan it could be a busy year for Peter and Emily.

Between their daughter Amelia, Emily’s medical career, planning a wedding, and rumours now circulating they may be adding to their family as well as Peter appearing on Strictly Come Dancing the pair will certainly be kept busy!

Staying at the swish Kensington Hotel, where rooms start at €400 a night and go up to €3,150 for a suite, Amy Huberman and Brian O'Driscoll are certainly making the most of their mini-break in London.

They got to see all the court-side action at Wimbledon yesterday – and today they're back for more.

Amy is wearing a Saxony dress from Zoe Jordan's current collection; the number sports a striking asymmetrical hem and a glacial-print pattern. It's currently priced at €1,450, having been reduced from €2,080.

Yesterday, she was also in Joe Jordan, this time in Bruges shorts, €240, and a matching Eine top, €225 – both in tonic-print. She teamed her outfit with Bourbon shoes, a label with which she has several successful design collaborations. 

The first Saturday of Wimbledon – dubbed 'middle Saturday' – has traditionally been the day when stars from the world of sport attend matches on Centre Court; hence Brian's invite to the famed Royal Box.

Today they will watch games from Roger Federer, Petra Kvitova, and Andy Murray.

Fellow rugby legends in attendance include Matt Dawson and Stuart Lanchester, as well as soccer's Gary Linekar.

Unsurprisingly for an athlete who remains so enduringly popular more than a year after his retirement, Brian received a warm round of applause when he was introduced to the crowd this afternoon.

Yesterday, Bod wore a grey suit from Tommy Hilfiger, which he teamed with a blue-striped suit and blue tie. 

He and his wife, who celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary on Thursday, have long been tennis fans, and have over the years frequented the Grand Slam competition whenever their schedules allow. 

And this year, Amy can even indulge in a glass of champagne or cool Pimm's; when the duo attended the 2014 tournament she was four months pregnant with their second child, a son Billy, who was born in November. They also have a two-and-a-half year old daughter, Sadie.

Earlier today, the author and actress shared a stunning shot of their hotel's staircase, joking that she was tempted to slide down the bannister.

Kim Kardashian posted a cute snap of 2-year old Nori on Friday who was having a bit of meltdown. Poor gal just couldn’t get her outfit together.

The 34-year old reality star posted a snap of her exasperated daughter saying: “The struggle is real! We cannot go out of the house like this!!! LOL.”

We wonder what North's fashion ingénue father Kanye West has to say about her wardrobe choices her.

North donned her bike helmet, a fabulous unicorn backpack and a multi-coloured umbrella before realising she just wasn’t feeling it and throwing herself down in despair.

We feel you Nori, we understand your pain.

It all turned out alright in the end though. Kim posted another picture later that showed North out and about with her stylish accessories, minus the pink headgear though, unfortunately.

She captioned the image: “We compromised.”

North is something of a fashion icon, we can only imagine what kind of style advice she’s going to give to her younger brother when he makes his arrival. Mom Kim is expecting her second child with Kanye sometime in November.

Not too long ago the official Garda Síochána Twitter account was having a great laugh with Ellie Goulding after her little run in with the law in Cork.

Now, the hilarious genius behind the social media account is at it again.

Yesterday’s Avicii concert in Marley Park was the source of many giggles as the hero account had some tongue-in-cheek banter with its 152,000 followers.

They started off with the usual informative snap. Reminding concert goers, and the Gardaí to stay hydrated and wear that all-important SPF. Good job guys.

Then they shared an epic aerial shoot of the venue itself including the massive crowd that gathered to see the DJ’s set.

Oh and they also know we have a soft spot for cute things. So they posted this snap of a four-legged official doing his duties. He’s smiling, adorable.

Then they couldn’t help themselves from sharing some of the selfies music fans were begging the Gardaí in attendance for.

They couldn’t resist swapping their usual attire for a nice snapback.

We thought they had outdone themselves with Ellie, but last night’s entertainment was something else.

This girl knows how to celebrate the 4th of July.

Earlier in the day the Bad Blood singer posted some great snaps of her squad celebrating the American holiday at what looks like an epic pool party.

Not content with making it a couple’s only affair, Taylor’s other famous friends were on hand to help get the weekend started early.

Taylor captioned the image “Swan squad,” because she loves that inflatable swan.

It first made its social media debut last month with Taylor and Calvin confirming their relationship status in a cute photo.

It’s been a difficult week for Ben Affleck.

Since announcing to the world that he and wife Jennifer Garner have made the “difficult decision to divorce”, the rumours have been flying about possible reasons for their split.

With some rumours even circulating that another woman was the cause of the split, the latest news does confirm that there is another woman in Ben’s life at the moment.

It’s not what you might think though.

No mystery girlfriends to be found in Ben’s life as of right now apparently. Rather, the 42-year old actor has been “really leaning on his mother for support”, an insider tells People magazine.

Similar to when Ben went through his highly publicised split from Jennifer Lopez, the Batman vs Superman star has turned to his mother for support.

An insider close to the couple has revealed that “she is a constant rock for him.” While Jennifer is also “turning to her family and friends,” the main support system for Ben appears to be his mom.

Ben had been spending lots of time with Christine, his mom, while Jennifer, 43, was in Montreal shooting her new film Nine Lives.

The couple’s children Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3, are also said to have been spending plenty of time with their dad and their grandmother since the couple announced their impending divorce.

Currently the pair are in the Bahamas to spend time together with their children. According to a source in Us Weekly, the Bahamas is “a place they've been going to for years that's very private and special for their kids.”

This is not how anyone envisions a midnight swim ending. After warnings that an alligator has been seen in a Texas marina, a 28-year old man was fatally attacked when he entered the water.

Tommie Woodward was attacked and killed by an alligator when he took a dip in the early hours of the morning at Southeast Texas Marina on Friday.

According to the Associated Press, the Orange County Sheriff’s deputies and a Texas game warden found the man’s body at 4:30 am.

Tommie was warned not to jump in the water to swim before he was attacked by the alligator.

Justice of the Peace Rodney Price told KFDM that Tommie and a woman were standing at a landing on the dock before he jumped in.

When the woman heard Tommie scream for help, she jumped into the water. Then she felt something brush up against her.

Despite owners of the marina putting a sign in place to warn swimmers of the dangers of swimming in the area, Tommie and the woman had picked the spot for a quick swim that night after leaving the marina’s bar.

KFDM also reported the pair had received a verbal warning to avoid swimming in the area in case of the alligator appearing.

Thankfully the woman with Tommie at the time managed to escape the attack without any injuries.

A police Captain in the area, Robert Enmon told the Associated Press that in recent times a very large alligator had been spotted at the marina on multiple occasions.

Enmon noted that despite this being the only fatal attack he's seen in his 25-years of service; "you've got to remember that alligators are a predatory species, they are territorial, and they will take advantage of an opportunity."

The owners had decided to put signage in place in order to prevent and swimmers from coming into contact with the alligator.

 Unfortunately, that didn’t stop Tommie from entering the water.

The fatal attack is suspected to have been from the same alligator that the owners had been on the look-out for recently. The alligator is estimated to be 11 feet long.

She endured cruel taunts relating to her body and shape while expecting daughter, North, now two-years-old.

And although this time Kim Kardashian is determined to have a healthier pregnancy, she's happy to admit that there's one thing she can do nothing about: her changing face.

"No I don't do fillers or botox when pregnant like some tabloids are reporting," she explained in an Instagram snap she posted this evening.

"You would have to be really sick to endanger your child like that!"

She added: "Anyone who has been pregnant or gained weight knows your face totally changes! My nose gets bigger, cheeks fuller and my lips swell up.

"The challenge is trying to adjust the make up to make me feel normal."

The accompanying image is breathtaking: Kim, 34, appears with tousled hair around her shoulders, while she wears minimal make-up. Seemingly posing topless, the skin around her decollage has a gorgeous, dewy appearance.

In the same post, the reality TV star also revealed that she will unveil her top tips for expert makeup while pregnant in a forthcoming post on kimkardashianwest.com, a brand new website which will be launched shortly. 

The post has been created in conjunction with Hrush Achemyan, a leading LA-based makeup artist who regularly works with the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan.

Kim, the wife of rapper Kanye West, is currently four months pregnant with their second child, a son.
