Ed Sheeran granted a terminally ill girl one of her life’s wishes when she went to see him in concert.

Not only did Channan Petrides get to watch the Give Me Love singer do his thing on stage, Ed then invited her backstage so they could hang out after the show.

Channan, who suffers from cystic fibrosis, revealed how her “life is now complete” after getting to hang out with her favourite star.

Speaking to The Mirror, Ms Petrides said that “He was so lovely and genuine. He had a great sense of humour and was really easy to get on with.”

“He signed my programme and we took some selfies together. He smelt amazing.”

Channan has removed herself from the organ donor list so she can enjoy her time left to its fullest.

The 22-year-old explained on her Go Fund Me page that her next wish would be to go to The Brit Awards if it is at all possible.

“I would love to go to The Brit Awards next year and have the VIP experience of walking on the red carpet. I need everyone’s help to make this possible, much love x.”

Just yesterday we reported that Scott Disick was under pressure from friends to change his ways for the sake of his now-ex girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian and their three kids, and now it looks like he is trying his best to make amends.

Kourtney reportedly kicked Scott out for good 10 days ago, although it's thought he had not spent time in the couple's shared Calabasas home for a number of weeks prior to that. With Scott's almost-brother-in-law Kanye West telling the partyboy dad that it was time for him to "man up" and get himself to rehab, we're not surprised that Scott has made a fairly significant gesture of apology today.

Just a week after postponing a Las Vegas club appearance, the reality star has now also pulled out of another event that would have earned him a cool $50,000 (€46,000). 

The appearance, at Pool After Dark in Atlantic City, was scheduled to take place on Saturday but the organisers have confirmed today that Scott will not be present, with no word if the event will be rescheduled, according to TMZ.

Given Scott's history in Atlantic City, it comes as no surprise that his close friends are not keen for him to go ahead with the event this weekend. Back in March, 'Lord' Disick partied at another Pool After Dark event until dawn, and at 8am was found drunk in his hotel lobby with no shoes on.

TMZ reported at the time that Scott had to be escorted back to his room and ended up missing his morning flight to Chicago for another event.

So if Scott's not in Atlantic City this weekend, might he be hightailing it to California to win back Kourt? Watch this space…

Coronation Street star, Jack P Shepherd, has caused a stir by taking of a photo (pretending?) to relieve himself on the sign for rival soap, Emmerdale.

Jack, who plays David Platt on the show, posted the photo to his Twitter account after a night out but deleted it within seconds.

An insider told The Sun that “Jack had a few drinks like the rest of the Corrie cast, but as the night went on he got a bit boisterous.” Yeah, no kidding!

The source revealed that the 27-year-old soap star has been in trouble before over inappropriate behaviour and that ITV bosses have warned their actors against this kind of publicity.

“Jack knew this could get him in trouble. There’s big rivalry between the soaps but the ITV bosses don’t want any headaches over rows.”

While Jack did delete the picture, he clearly isn’t feeling too shook up about the thought of possibly getting in trouble as he tweeted, “Now where’s that @bbceastenders set,” after the incident.

If you're someone who absolutely loves (and needs) you daily cup, or three, of coffee, then you've probably been hit with a few facts about how it may not be that good for you or a few questions about whether you should cut back or not. 

But finally, the day as come when we now have an answer for all those who have something to say about our over-the-top love for caffeine. 

Scientists have discovered, that coffee may not actually be bad for you, despite many recent articles saying you should limit your intake to one cup or none at all. 

A professor of paediatrics at the Indiana University School Of Medicine, Dr. Aaron E Carroll, has under-taken a study on whether drinking coffee really is bad for you.

After going through an insane amount of high-quality data, Dr Aaron has found absolutely NO evidence to suggest that coffee can have negative effects on our health, even for those of us who like to drink more than one cup a day. 

Aaron notes that it's the stuff that we put in our coffee, like sugar, that we have to cut back on rather than the coffee itself.

Did you know who Bug Hall is? If you don’t right now, you definitely did in 1994. Consider this one of the best Throwback Thursday posts since Harvey Kinkle started wearing glasses. Alfalfa of The Little Rascals has transformed since we last saw him. Now he’s a flannel wearing wood chopping and fully bearded man.

Capable of assembling a home in the woods with his bare hands, this guy knows how to rock some serious outer wear. Who knew a thermal beanie could look so good. We didn’t, but Bug has enlightened us with his recent Twitter posts.

He got such an intense response from his Twitter followers that Buzzfeed have even labelled the actor ‘lumbersexual’. He responded with a fabulous NYC themed tweet.

Gone are the days of bow ties and formal wear for casual rowing dates, Bug is all about his outdoorsy, very masculine lifestyle now. No more pointy-hair days for this guy anymore.

We are really fine with that.

His on screen appearances included CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, The O.C and Nikita. He is also set to appear in Body High to be released this year. He did take a trip back to his early claim to fame in 2014 when he appeared in The Little Rascals Save the Day in 2014.

Oh! Just in case you thought it couldn’t get any better, he is also a musician. He’s pretty good too. We wonder if Bug and Nate might get together for a collaboration any time soon?

A helicopter has collided with a Co Longford pub, skidding into the nearby banks of the Royal Canal.

Incredibly, both passengers on board have survived the accident, though several bystanders have been treated for shock.

The incident took place at 9.15pm yesterday in the village of Abbeyshrule in Co Longford.

​The pub in question is the well-known Rustic Inn bar and restaurant.

Ciaran Doyle, 14, told RTE Radio today that he was doing work on his family's home with his father when they spotted the helicopter flying unusally low – prompting them to follow its flight path to investigate.

 

“I went up with my phone and recorded it, and it was hovering over the canal and we were watching it and it started to go in close to the Rustic Inn pub in the centre of the village,” he explained. 

“It was coming towards the back when it swung around and hit off the back of the wooden back of  the Rustic.

“It tore it, and there was water coming out, and the minute I saw it my hands started to shake and I picked up the phone and dialled the emergency services,” he said.

 

RTE.ie also reports that while the pilot and one passenger have not been seriously injured, significant structural damage has been caused to the pub.

A spokesperson from the Department Of Transport said two members of the Air Accident Investigation Unit attended the scene, and Gardaí have preserved it for a full investigation

We have come across the perfect Instagram account that sums up all of the feelings you feel while being on your own in the company of a loved up couple. 

If you have ever been a third wheel, then you can related to Peter Alden, a 29-year-old from New York. 

He told Buzzfeed: "I am 29 years old, single and living in NYC, Help!".

He chronicles the adventures of his brother and his fiance going on dates and doing other romantic things together, while Peter photo bombs all of their cute pictures.

Peter is used to be a third wheel by now as he spent a lot of time with the couple in the early days of their relationship. 

Peter said “I used to live with my brother. When they started dating I was always around.”

But it seems he's getting used to the life of being a third wheel, and he may even kinda like it “After almost two years, they moved in together and I had to move out on my own. I tried to live with them, but nooooo.”

It's his captions that really get us though, as he shares his good times with his two best friends, or tripod as he calls them.

The Apple iPhone Siri function has managed to evolve into a serious sass queen as of late.

Siri has been throwing some serious shade at users, and people were not feeling the love. Basically, if you didn’t know that you can’t divide zero by zero, don’t ask Siri, she will not be impressed.

She left an awful lot of people feeling pretty miserable and questioning their life choices, because Siri has that effect on some people.

Siri, useful tool that it is, is known for being blunt, witty and not afraid to possibly hurt your feelings with her sharp answers.

If you needed any more convincing just ask Siri about their feelings regarding Miley Cyrus. Thinsg get very real, very fast.

However, many internet users are capable of forgiving her after someone made this discovery.

If you ask Siri about Bruce Jenner, she automatically corrects you and refers to Caitlyn Jenner. She also does not mess around when asked questions surrounding Caitlyn’s gender.

Asking “what gender is Bruce Jenner?” is immediately corrected to be interpreted as “what gender is Caitlyn Jenner?”

According to reports on The Verge, this is a big deal. Back in April people discovered that Siri is not always so politically correct:

“Users noticed that the Russian language version of Siri was responding to questions about topics like gay marriages and gay bars with homophobic answers.”

He's yet to confirm or deny the swirling baby rumours – but Louis Tomlinson is certainly making a BIG effort with former love-interest Briana Jungwirth. 

Briana, 23, is an LA-based stylist and is reportedly 12 weeks' pregnant with the One Direction star's first child.

She is said to be suffering from severe morning sickness at the moment.

The duo went on several dates in May, though they are no longer in a relationship.

And it has now emerged that 23-year-old Louis recently left the band's On The Road Again tour to fly to LA to spend time with Briana and her family – including her mum. 

TMZ, which also carries images of the outing, says Louis and Briana, along with her mum and little brother, spent the afternoon hanging out in West Hollywood.

There they even cosied up to the same chimp that had appeared in One Direction's Steal My Girl video.

The musician later posted a snap to Instagram, saying he had been "reunited with an old friend".

Mail Online has reported that the singer's mother, Johannah Deakin, and step-father, Dan, have already met Briana's parents: mum Tammi Clark, 47, and stepfather Brett.

An insider claims the two families happily enjoyed a July 4 weekend together getting to know one another and chatting about the future.

Lottie Tomlinson, Louis's sister, is also currently in LA.

Johannah is a midwife and a mother of seven. She only gave birth to twins, Ernest and Doris, in February last year but this will be her first grandchild. 

Meanwhile, in contrast to Mr Tomlinson's large clan, Briana has just one sibling: a younger half brother, nine-year-old Austin, whom Louis has been hanging out with.

Mail Online furthermore says that Johannah and Dan travelled to California again to attend Ms Jungwirth's most recent appointment and scan.

"They all saw the ultrasound together and heard the baby's heart beat for the first time," the website states.

And while it may not have worked out with Briana, a source told PEOPLE this week that Mr Tomlinson has vowed to be at Ms Jungwirth’s side throughout her pregnancy and really wants to be a “hands-on dad” when the baby arrives early next year.

This doesn’t sound very promising for the Magic Mike XXL star.

Actress Amber Heard has been charged with two counts of illegal importation and one count of producing a false document.

Yes, this is in relation to the alleged dog smuggling she and husband Johnny Depp have been charged with in Australia in May.

The owner of Boo and Pistol (Yorkshire terriers and very cute) was charged under the Australian Quarantine Act. She apparently was not following the correct procedures on entering the country.

29-year old Amber was in Queensland to visit husband Johnny who was filming the latest Pirates of the Caribbean film.

Back in June, Amber told the Sunrise breakfast program she would not be visiting Australia any time soon after their little legal snafu.

“I have a feeling we’re going to avoid the land down under from now on, just as much as we can, thanks to certain politicians there,” she said in the interview.

If Amber is found guilty of the charges, she could face up to 10 years in an Australian prison.

At the time, a minister for agriculture in Australia made the news worldwide when he said the dogs could “bugger off back to the United States” and if not they would be put down.

Speaking with ET in an interview not too long ago, Amber said that her dogs were with her in the U.S, “despite attempts by rogue thug Australian government officials, they are alright.”

She says she brings Pistol everywhere she goes, and both dogs are fine. In case you were wondering, the stress has not impacted their lives negatively. Phew!

It has not been confirmed whether the pups with accompany Amber when she heads back down under in September to appear at Southport Magistrates Court.

A little over a year ago, Sam Smith was almost unheard of.

Things have certainly changed for the sing-songwriter as of late. Not only has he just announced that after a period of time off from music due to a vocal cord surgery, he also had some other major news.

Sam is going to be starring in a major high fashion ad campaign. The 23-year old announced on Twitter that he is going to star in Balenciaga’s upcoming 2015 men’s ads. We are very excited.

He also teased a project ‘#balxsamsmith’. Now that is a collaboration we can get behind completely.

The previews which Sam shared yesterday show him as backlit in a very dungeon-type looking dark basement. A little out there, but this is fashion after all, if it doesn’t raise eyebrows it won’t impress.

This past year has been a bit of a whirlwind for Sam. In addition to cleaning up at the Grammy awards and taking home four trophies, he went through a massive physical change too.

Sam documented his impressive weight-loss on his Instagram page, and his hard work certainly paid off. After losing three stone overall, he credits the author of Eat Nourish Glow for “changing his life”.

Just days ago the singer announced on Instagram that he was back to full health and would be returning to live performances very soon. The 23-year old shared an update with his fans and is supposed to return to live shows in Kentucky this Friday. 

We’re so happy that Sam is back to full health and we’re very excited to see what his latest fashion venture will bring into our lives. Watch this space!

Last night the ESPY awards took place and countless stars hit the red carpet.

Two who certainly caught our eye were none other than Kendall and Kylie Jenner. They were at the event to support Caitlyn Jenner, who was being honoured with the Arthur Ashe award at the ceremony.

Putting their best fashion foot forward, both sisters pulled out all the stops.

Kylie,17, made heads turn fast in her floor length gown covered in thousands of tiny gold sequins. The dress was a creation of Lebanese designer Shady Zeineldine.

Sporting a shorter dark hair style she went dresses that famous pout of hers in a nude lip colour and went for a bright white manicure which we really want to try. Her dress had long sleeves and a high neckline, which was unexpected but incredibly chic.

Kendall, the 19-year old fashion model, chose a black gown by Alexander Vauthier with sheer panels and a plunging neckline.

While older sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney were at the event they opted not to walk the red carpet. Brody Jenner meanwhile took to the carpet with his girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter. He took a more laid back approach with a black suit and black t-shirt combo.

Younger sisters Kendall and Kylie certainly stole the show with their all –out-glam styles(insert heart eyes emojis here). Backstage all the family were in attendance and wore co-ordinated black outfits as they posed for some family snaps which Kylie posted on her Instagram page.

Singer Ciara almost managed to upstage them though, when she appeared wearing a fabulous Elie Saab gown with a dip dyed indigo to plum colouring.

Caitlyn herself had the help of stylist Jen Rade to get her outfit for the night on point. Wearing an eye-catching custom Atelier Versace gown in white. The gown also had long sleeves with a high slit. She looked incredibly as she discussed transgender issues and the challenges faced by the trans community on stage.
