Star of The Devil Wears Prada and The Hunger Games, Stanley Tucci, was presented with a Volta Award at the 2014 Jameson Dublin International Film Festival on Saturday night.

The Volta Award is presented to those who have made a significant contribution to the world of film and is named after Ireland’s first cinema. Stanley is a long-established and respected actor who was nominated for Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for his role in The Lovely Bones.

Killian Scott, who plays Tommy in Love/Hate presented Stanley with the award.

Meanwhile, back in the US, Stanley’s sister-in-law and The Devil Wears Prada co-star, Emily Blunt, is enjoying her first few days as a mother following the birth of baby Hazel yesterday.

Nowadays, it’s hard to wear a pair of flares without getting noticed; since skinny jeans came into fashion, there is hardly any room for that wide leg cut.

But, don’t be so quick to dump those flares into the bin because with fashion, there’s always a way around making something look ‘current.’

Step 1: Put on the tightest fitting non-skinnies you have.

Step 2: Roll up the leg of your jeans.

Step 3: If there is any extra material hanging off your calves, pull it around from the back towards the front and fold it over to make a tight crease.

Step 4: Roll up the leg of your jeans to hold the crease in place.

Step 5: Put on your thinnest and tightest pair of socks to cover up everything you’ve done so far.

Step 6: Put on your boots and make sure the socks aren’t visible.

Niall Horan recently split with Victoria’s Secret model Barbara Palvin but he hasn’t let the grass grow under his feet.

Our favourite One Direction band member was spotted out and about with Selena Gomez over the Valentine’s weekend, which has sparked rumours of romance between the pair.

However, this is not the first time the duo have had their relationship scrutinised by gossip columns.

For the past two years, the “friends” have been subjected to romance rumours but neither have ever denied or confirmed that anything happened.

However, the Mullingar native let everyone know that he was interested in Gomez last year, but unfortunately she was with Bieber at the time.

Niall said: “I like someone that’s cute, someone I can have a laugh with, and I also like people that are American.”

We certainly think the cheeky Irish lad is better for her than Bieber, although we are slightly biased.

Oval

  • The length of your face is about one and a half times its width.

Round

  • The length and width of your face are more or less the same.
  • You have prominent cheeks.

Square

  • You have a square shaped jaw and chin.
  • Your jaw line is nearly the same width as your forehead.

Oblong

  • Longer than an oval face shape and not as wide.
  • You may have a pointy chin.

Heart

  • You have a narrow jaw and pointy chin
  • Both your cheekbones and forehead are wide.

Diamond

  • Your cheekbones are the widest part of your face.
  • You have a narrow jaw line and forehead.

It has been reported that director of Frost/Nixon and A Beautiful Mind, Ron Howard, is in talks with Warner Bros. about creating a live-action adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book.

It was originally decided that director of Babel and 21 Grams, Alejandro González Iñárritu, would take on the project but he had to let it go due to scheduling commitments.

Warner Bros. aren’t the only ones with their eyes on a live-action adaptation of the classic however, as Disney are releasing their own under the direction of Friends‘ Jon Favreau in October 2015.

Katy Perry has put the gossip mills into overdrive after accidentally flashing what looked like an engagement ring.

While hiding her face from photographers after a date night with John Mayer, the Prism singer showed everyone the ring sitting comfortably on her wedding finger.

On Feb 15th, Mayer tweeted, “I got the hottest girl in the game Pick in’ my brain,” sparking further speculation that the two had a Valentine’s engagement.

Melissa Joan Hart has admitted to using drugs in the past during an interview with Giulina Rancic for E!

When asked by Giuliana about her good girl image on Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Melissa explains: “It wasn’t that I wasn’t a bad girl. It’s that I never got caught.”

She also admitted to using a range of drugs from marijuana to ecstasy: “I experimented with weed, ecstasy, mushroom and mescaline for about a year and half.”

We are glad that her drug-use is behind her and that she came through her wild days intact!

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck have been taking digs at each other for the past two weeks – but it’s all for a good cause.

The best friends are trying to raise money for their two charities, East Congo Initiative and Water.org.

While filming to promote the charities the two just couldn’t seem to get along – take a look, it’s so funny.

Ben has been using Matt’s absence on Twitter to his advantage and recruiting Jimmy Kimmel in his public roasting of poor Matt, posting tweets, such as: “Matt you there? Right. We will fax you”, “Matt is prob too scared to get on twitter because no one likes him” and our personal favourite: “We’ve printed out this tweet, placed in a suitcase that we’ll courier to Matt.”
