Finding love isn’t easy, and no one knows better about this than Dan Perino. Dan decided to take his search for a new girlfriend to the streets with a usual poster campaign.

So, instead of hitting the clubs, or trying online dating – Dan decided to place flyers all around the centre of New York City.

The poster includes a picture of himself and reassurance that he’s on a serious mission for love.

“I’m really looking for a girlfriend. This is not a joke. Just tired of the singles scene and hoping to meet the right person. I am a professional artist and creative person. You know who you are. To me each and every person is beautiful. Open to the possibility of the relationship morphing into something more profound”.

Dan said that he has put up over 500 flyers over the course of four days, in an effort to find a new beau. However, it seems to have worked as he’s already received over 400 calls as of last Friday. Sadly, despite the huge amount of interest, Dan still hasn’t found The One.

Don’t give up Dan, she’s out there!

Amanda Byram is on a quest to help women be proud of their bodies – and she’s done this by posing completely nude for the new issue of Women’s Health.

We don’t know about you, but seeing a picture of Amanda’s super toned abs doesn’t make us feel any better about our own!

The Dublin native says she trained for two months so that she could look her best: “I trained hard for this WH shoot. If I was going to be naked, I wanted to feel my very best.

“A year or so before I turned 40 I thought ‘it’s now or never’. I wanted to sculpt a strong body.

“One that would stay healthy and beautiful well into my forties and beyond.

“I cut down on alcohol, gave up on red meat and focused on eating clean.”

All Amanda’s hard work has definitely paid off!

We are all aware that straightening our hair can leave it looking a little dry and frizzled. However, there are a few tricks to learn that will help your tresses look fabulous and poker straight.

Use the right shampoo
Start by using the right shampoo and conditioner. Go for products that are specially made for dry, damaged hair and offer sleek, smooth locks.

Brush your hair
Use a paddle brush to remove any knots and brush your hair straight.

Use a little oil
To give your hair a silky shine rub a little oil in your hands and run it through your hair from root to tips using your fingers.

Dry your hair
Spritz on a little heat protection spray before using your hairdryer. Make sure your hair is completely dry before you put your hair straightener near it.

Don’t have the straightening tool on too hot
If your straightener has a temperature adjustment facility, try to keep it on a lower heat that will still straighten your hair.

Don’t overdo it
Don’t run the styling tool through your hair too many times. Twice should be more than enough.

Miranda Kerr has yet to speak out about how her ex-husband threw a punch at Justin Bieber after he allegedly made a reference about how good she was in bed to Orlando Bloom.

However, her new ad campaign for 7 For All Mankind, a brand of jeans, was released this week. In the thirty second clip she rolls around a bed in a pair of skinny jeans and nothing else saying:

“I love them, I love them.”

Of course, she’s referring to the jeans – but could the timing of this release be any more perfect? Miranda continues by saying: “They feel so good. I love the way they fit.”

But what about the way they FIGHT Miranda? Do you love that too?!

We know the Ebola virus isn’t in Ireland, but there have been over 1000 confirmed cases, with almost 700 deaths, so it's not a bad idea to be informed – especially if you’re going abroad this summer. Here is the lowdown on the signs and symptoms of the virus:

Signs:

  • Fever
  • Headaches
  • Joint and muscle pain
  • Lack of appetite

Symptoms:

  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhoea
  • Stomach pain
  • A rash alongside internal and external bleeding – often from the eyes, nose or mouth.

According to reports, Nicholas Hoult dumped his girlfriend, Jennifer Lawrence, because of her “exploded ego”.

We find this hard to believe, especially since Jennifer seems the most down to earth actress out there.

However, sources are saying that Jen’s obsessive love of fame caused Hoult to kick her to the curb for good: “Jen is still desperately trying to get back with Nicholas after he broke up with her. They’re still talking but Nicholas is moving on. He hates how in love with fame Jen is, and he told her he hates dating an A-list actress.”

The rumours didn’t stop there, as it’s also being reported that Nicholas is now dating actress, Riley Keough. The pair were spotted out and about together earlier this week.

“That was the most hurtful to Jen because she’s worked so hard for her achievements and she’s so proud of her career. But Nic wants a more low-key girlfriend and Riley fits the bill.”

We hope these rumours aren’t true, because we think JLaw and Nicholas are perfect for each other.

This is seriously awkward, like really, really awkward.

25hours Hotel Bikini in Berlin – yeah, we don’t get the name either – has given guests a pretty good view of Berlin zoo, however, the view is not all that great for zoo goers.

The hotel which is only 10 storeys high has floor-to-ceiling windows – in the bathrooms. So, that means you can have a look at what the animals are getting up to while you are, eh, doing your business. At least you won’t be bored.

However, on the flip side, passersby have a view of you, eh, doing your business.

Unfortunately, so many people have noticed this that the hotel has actually had to put up a sign in the bathroom that says: “Please be careful, not only the monkeys are watching”.

Not sure we’ll be heading to this hotel anytime soon or at least we won’t be using their bathroom.

Robert Pattinson has opened up once again about his ex-girlfriend, Kristen Stewart.

The couple split after it was revealed that Kristen was having an affair with director, Rupert Sanders. Despite of all of this, Rob seems to be in a good place about the ending of his relationship with Stewart: “S–t happens, you know? It’s just young people…it’s normal! And honestly, who gives a s–t?”

Robert admits it wasn’t easy initially, especially with the attention their split had brought to the media: “The hardest part was talking about it afterwards. Because when you talk about other people, it affects them in ways you can’t predict. It’s like that scene in Doubt, where he’s talking about how to take back gossip? They throw all those feathers from a pillow into the sky and you’ve got to go and collect all the feathers.”

Despite his split with Kristen, Robert still gets followed by the paparazzi: “I don’t understand why. I think it goes through periods where you’re assigned ‘this is the guy to follow’. But whenever I see a bunch of paparazzi hanging out, I always think, ‘Oh God, what have they found out!’ Oh, that love child! I totally forgot!”

The rumour mill is overdrive that Beyoncé and her husband, Jay-Z, are soon to split. From accusations that Jay-Z has been having a secret affair with Rihanna, to Bey apartment hunting by herself – the last few days have been hard for the couple.

While Beyoncé didn’t respond to the rumours directly, the singer did post a sweet snap of her hubby and Blue Ivy on Instagram.

Bey captioned the snap: “My favourite hue is Jay-Z Blue”

We doubt this will silence the rumours, but we do love how Bey decides to respond to them.

So if Fifty Shades of Grey is just a bit too hot to handle for you, perhaps Old Fashioned will be better suited to your tastes.

It’s been dubbed the Fifty Shades of Grey for Christians, and it’s being released on the same date as its steamier counterpart – February 14th.

It’s writer, director and star (kind of says a lot about it already huh?) Rik Swartzwelder says the film will “tell a love story that takes the idea of Godly romance seriously.

“[It’s] a story that, without apology, explores the possibility of a higher standard in relationships, yet is also fully aware of just how fragile we all are and doesn’t seek to heap guilt upon those of us that have made mistakes.”

The story tells the tale of a former frat boy and a “free spirited woman” who attempt an old fashioned courtship in contemporary America.

Who knows, this could be the greatest love story of our time!

Katy Perry revealed all in a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine from accusations of cultural insensitivity, to the topic of having a baby one day.

The 29-year-old was accused of racial insensitivity, when she decided to wear a Geisha costume during one of her performances. Perry said she didn’t want to cause any offense, and said she would stay away from sensitive topics in the future.

“It came from an honest place. If there was any inkling of anything bad, then it wouldn’t be there, because I’m very sensitive to people. I guess I’ll just stick to baseball and hot dogs, and that’s it.”

But even though Katy kept quiet on her love life, the singer did share her views on having a baby someday.

“I want to be doing that in the right time. And that’s not in the next two years, you know? Maybe it’s in a five-year plan, but I need to really be able to focus 100 percent of my attention on it. I don’t really want to take the child on tour. Not until, like, birth through five is over. I don’t need a dude”
