Jesy Nelson and Jade Thirlwall are officially back on the market after splitting from their dancer boyfriends.
Jade had been with Sam Craske since 2012 and while Jesy and her beaux Jordan Banjo had broken up last March, it looked as if they were back on track.
The splits are apparently because of the girls’ hectic schedule. They are jetting off for their US tour soon, which will mean they’ll be away for the whole summer.
We hope they’re ok!
Blackpool has been named as the leading destination for dirty hotels in the UK.
The research was carried out by Hotel.info and surveyed the ratings of over two million hotels guests. The three most offending factors were stained sheets, dusty tables and smoky smells.
While Blackpool is said to be being revitalised, we think we’ll give it a miss this year!
It’s been ten whole years since The Notebook hit cinema screens, and we’re STILL not over Ally and Noah’s epic love story.

The power couple played to a sold out Sun Life Stadium in Miami Garden and is it just us, or were they sending out a message that there is nothing wrong with their marriage by projecting an intimate video of their April 2008 wedding day onto huge screens on stage as they closed the show with Young Forever?

What item do you think every girl should have in her closet?
A good quality white t-shirt. It sounds so boring but the better the quality, the better it looks. I’ve gone through so many cheap ones that have lost their shape and withered away, I’ve realised that it’s more satisfying to invest in a good one from the beginning.
What’s the most expensive item of clothing you’ve bought?
I don’t think I’ve bought anything that has ever been ridiculously expensive. I always wait for the sales or student discounts – I’m an obsessive bargain hunter. But the most I’ve spent on something was a pair of boots from Office, they were €70 on sale!
What’s your best bargain?
My ultimate bargain is a vintage silver blouse with subtle snake print, it has a high neck with shoulder pads, the description makes it sound awful but it really is gorgeous. I snapped it up for €1 in a charity shop in Dublin.
What would you say is your favourite accessory?
Right now, rings are my absolute favourite. Silver rings with celtic detail, to be exact. They’re boho cool and they look good with anything!
If you could only shop in one store for the rest of your life, which would it be?
That’s really tough. Topshop would have to be my number one, I practically live in their Jamie jeans! For online, my one stop shop is ASOS.

Esther Honig, a journalist, blogger and freelance reporter decided to prove once and for all that beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.
She conducted an experiment to “examine how the standards of unobtainable beauty vary across cultures on a global level.”
Honig contacted various freelances across the globe with her photograph and a message:
“Hi my name is Esther Honig and I would like you to enhance this image using Photoshop. I trust you to take whatever steps you see necessary. Make me look beautiful.”
When Honig got the photoshopped images back, she was surprised at the amount of variation:
“Each photo editor draws from a palate of both their cultural influence and their personal aesthetic preferences. This is why two images from the same country may be nothing alike.
“Overall what I’ve learned from this project is this; Photoshop allows us to achieve our unobtainable standards of beauty, but when we compare those standards on a global scale, achieving the ideal remains all the more illusive.”

EHarmony struck gold for their latest advert, as one man decided to use the site’s videos as an opportunity to propose his long-term girlfriend.
David and Natalie met on the hit dating site and have been together for three years. The couple decided to submit their “success story” to the site, but what Natalie didn’t know, was that David had staged the whole thing.
David then got a film team to pose as camera crew for eHarmony and in the middle of his and Natalie’s commercial “audition” he decided to pop the question to her.

We all love the bubbly Caroline Morahan from her Off the Rails days, but apparently casting directors see her more as “a sweet, caring mom, kindergarten teacher. Or a vixen b***h who is here to destroy your marriage.”
Woah! Talk about from one extreme to another!
Caroline is also in the process of writing a “riotous rom-com” which will be a US/Irish co-production:
“I’ve been really inspired by some great indie features I’ve seen and I’ve always been a believer that you create your own opportunities. So I started kicking around some ideas and now this is one of two projects in the pipeline.
“I’m really enjoying the writing process and all going well hope to be shooting next year.
“It’s a wonderfully empowering feeling to be creating on this scale. As an actor, you’re so dependent on other people booking you for a job.”
We will definitely have to give her new flick a watch, good luck Caroline!

It was revealed earlier this month that R-Kelly’s 13-year-old child, previously known as Jaya, had come out as a transgender man named Jay.
It looks like the rapper is having a hard time coming to terms with the transformation though, as he gave a radio interview on Monday and he seemed to be addressing the situation as if it were just a rumour: ““You don’t really wanna open it up by saying my daughter is becoming my son.
“As far as that is concerned, always believe what you see with your own eyes, that is, I’ve heard a lot of things about a lot of people and it was never true. You gotta know there’s a back story. There’s a background. That’s why you can’t judge nobody.”
Jay isn’t without support though – he says his mother Drea Kelly is really proud of him:
“[My mom] was like, ‘Baby, you know I love you if you were bi, gay, [lesbian], you name it and I would still love you so much.
“She was very proud of me, I was like, ‘Thank you mum for accepting the fact that I’m a transgender.’”
While it must be a little strange at first, we hope R-Kelly can come to terms with it soon too!
First Hugh Jackman was rumoured to be arriving in Dublin this Friday, then it was confirmed that Kim will be at Kanye West’s side for hubby’s concert performance next month, and now this!
B.E.D nightclub in Newry have somehow managed to get the great Pharell Williams to make an appearance in their club on July 5th.
Pharrell will be in Ireland then as he’s supporting Kanye West’s gig at Marly Park in July. Even though it’s not specificed what exactly Pharrell will be doing in the club – we can imagine the club will fill up fast that night.
But fans of the nightclub didn’t believe that the Happy singer was really coming to the club, so much so, that the owners were forced to post a statement confirming the news on their Facebook page.
“As you can see we have tagged Pharrell’s official Facebook and our Artwork has his Official logo (i am other)! THIS IS 100&% LEGITIMATE OR HIS LEGAL TEAM WOULD DEMAND THAT WE REMOVED IT!”
Well that’s a definite then!
