There is great news for Spice Girl fans…

They are reportedly getting back together for a stadium tour!

The iconic group’s reunion has been in the works for a while now, since Mel B dropped hints about it this summer.

Appearing on Loose Women, she said: “We are in the works of figuring stuff out.

“All five of us have signed with Simon Fuller. I can’t say exactly what and when but it’s exciting.

“We won’t go on tour immediately, but maybe we will soon.”

And now they’ve finally agreed on a British stadium tour, according to The Sun.

They plan to make the official announcement on Monday and make a TV appearance next Saturday.

The lineup for The Jonathan Ross show was leaked, revealing the host’s plan to interview the girls about their upcoming reunion.

However, there is one special spice girl that will not be joining the tour or the TV appearance – Victoria Beckham.

Posh Spice has chosen to stay home and focus on her family and her fashion business instead.

The last time all five girls performed together was in 1998 just before Ginger Spice Geri quit the group.

Then the remaining four girls – Posh Spice Victoria, Baby Spice Emma, Scary Spice Mel B, and Sporty Spice Mel C – recorded their third album Forever.

The British pop group then took a break in 2000. And luckily for fans, they are officially back 18 years later.

They are said to start the tour at the start of next year, so stay tuned for more upcoming details about their big reunion.

Further Spice Girls reunion plans have been revealed, which reportedly includes another movie.

A Spice Girl's feature film has been rumoured to be hitting cinemas next year, in addition to an animated superhero project the women will reportedly voice.

Excitement and rumours have been circulating around the exact details of the Spice Girls reunion we have been promised.

It seems that even the women themselves do not know precisely what is happening.

Mel B has hinted at a full-on tour, whilst her other band members have carefully avoided committing to anything, denying claims around new music had been on the way or that they would perform at the Royal Wedding next weekend.

One project that seems to have been given the nod is that all five band members have signed the dotted line for a 'superhero-themed' animated movie carrying their iconic 'girl power' message.

The news comes as Variety reports the girls are keen to voice their own characters in the superhero movie.

"They're fired up about the idea," a source claims.

"The Spice Girls are thinking big in terms of a franchise on a global scale. They’re the most successful girl group on the planet. It’s just what Marvel or Disney needs."

However, that isn’t all we are in for, reportedly, there will another Spice Girl feature film to look forward to, hitting cinemas and perhaps even the Cannes Film Festival in 2019.

According to The Sun's Dan Wootton, a 'second big movie project' has been lined up and 'pitched to potential production partners'.

It's reportedly going to be a 'tell-all' feature film, which cinema audiences will get to experience.

We for one, cannot wait!

Spice Girls fans unite!

We've been following their reunion every step of the way – from that adorable pic they posted to their possible performance at the royal wedding's reception (we still have our fingers crossed).

Now Variety reports that an animated movie about the supergroup is being shopped to potential producers!

Their source says that each member of the iconic 90s girl group has signed off on their likenesses being used for a superhero film.

We can't imagine anything more fun than showing a Spice Girls superhero movie to our little siblings, nieces  – or, you know, just watching it on our own. Literally no judgement.

The film would have 'girl power' as its core message and, suitably, each of the Spice Girls would have their own 'girl power' that matches with their persona.

Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Mel B (Scary Spice), Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), Mel C (Sporty Spice), and Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) would each voice their own character as well.

According to Variety, the Spice Girls' manager Simon Fuller has not commented on their possible reunion plans.

Fingers crossed!

We were SO ready to see The Spice Girls on tour. We memorised the lyrics to Wannabe, we’ve been practicing our best dance moves, and we’ve been warming up our vocal chords, but it looks like all our hard work has gone to waste.

Victoria Beckham has broken our hearts by revealing that the girls have no plans to go back on tour. She told Vogue, “I’m not going on tour. The girls aren’t going on tour.”

Rumours have been circulating that the pop band would embark on a tour across the United Kingdom and the US, however, Victoria shared that touring is not an option for the singers.

Great catch up with my girls! #bffs always  the future is looking spicy!

However, The Spice Girls are planning something very special, with Geri aiming high with the hopes of performing at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding.

Despite their dream of singing Spice Up Your Life at the wedding of the year, the fashion designer confirmed that the girls are still figuring out what they want to do in the future.

"There's something so strong in the message of what the Spice Girls stood for. What is that in the future? What does that look like?” she revealed.

Love u all so much!!! X Such a great day!! Thank u Simon! X VB

“She added, “We were just bouncing ideas around. Brainstorming.”

Speaking of their reunion, Victoria praised her bandmates, “It was so great to see the girls. We had such a fun lunch. It was really, really, really lovely.”

Victoria still speaks to Mel C, Emma, Mel B and Geri individually, but she shared that being together again was really lovely.

The Spice Girls may not be going on a world tour, but we’re sure whatever they’re planning will be seriously exciting.

Melanie Chisholm revealed she's lucky to be alive after restricting her diet during the early years of her career in the music industry.

The Spice Girl made the admission when she appeared on the TV series In Conversation With, telling comedian John Bishop how she suffered from depression and disordered eating while in the girl band.

Known for her athletic figure and sporty style, Mel kept her struggles out of the spot light.

"I started to restrict my food to a point where I was just like – God only knows how I survived – but I think for maybe a couple of years, maybe it couldn't have been that long – but I was just eating fruit and vegetables," she said.

"That was it. And with that workload."

The 43-year-old previously spoke about her obsession with being the “perfect” pop-star, telling The Telegraph she thought she needed to look a certain way in order to be worthy of her success.

"I thought I had to be a certain way to be deserving of everything that was happening to me… to be a pop-star I had to be perfect, and that was my way of trying to achieve perfection.”

“I was exercising obsessively and all of my time with the Spice Girls I think I was probably living on adrenaline.

Mel B’s ex-husband, Stephen Belafonte, has dismissed claims that he physically and emotionally abused the former Spice Girl calling them "outrageous and unfounded".

The Los Angeles Superior Court granted the singer a temporary restraining order earlier this week after she filed documents detailing the extent of the domestic abuse she suffered.

In the papers, Mel claimed that she had suffered ''multiple physical beatings'' and that Stephen had threatened to release intimate videos of her.

According to reports the Spice Girl also claimed that Stephen got their nanny pregnant, forced her to take part in sexual acts with other women, and even stopped her from calling an ambulance when she overdosed on painkillers.

This comes just two weeks after Mel filed for divorce from the film producer after almost 10 years of marriage.

In a statement, representatives from Stephen’s legal team confirmed that he will soon be making an official response to the allegations.

"It's a shame that Ms Brown elected not to proceed in a respectful and amicable fashion in this very private matter."

"In due course, Mr Belafonte will be filing his response to the outrageous and unfounded allegations made by Ms Brown, which allegations he vehemently denies."

The couple, who have been married since 2007 have one daughter, Maddison, together.

Mel have has two other children form previous relationships, 18-year-old Pheonix and 9-year-old Angel.

Oooh, Vicky B, is that a sly dig?

Many seem to think that Victoria Beckham's latest Instagram post is throwing shade at the Spice Girls.

The fashion designer captioned the picture, "2 become 1 X Kisses VB #girlpower," but in the snap she's holding up her middle and index finger.

Fans on the social network think the image is a dig at her former girlband because of the 2 become 1 reference, as well as the hand gesture.

One follower wrote, "Such an immature dig, they were once your friends, now you're taking them to court," while another said, "don't think it's shady but I do think there is a hidden message in there somewhere."

It looks like a bit of Spice Girl drama might be heading our way!

After months of drama, speculation and controversial revelations, former Spice Girls Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Mel B decided to ditch the name which made them famous and reunite as GEM.

Since news of the partial Spice Girls reunion broke, fans have been waiting patiently for a glimpse of the band’s new music and now, at long last, their first track seems to have arrived.

Earlier this week, a single called Song For Her was leaked online with the claim that it is GEM’s debut track as a trio.

While the band has yet to confirm or deny that the music is in fact theirs, many believe Song For Her is sufficiently nostalgia inducing to pass for the work of one of the 90s most beloved bands.

In a move which didn't exactly endear him to certain husbands and boyfriends at the time, Robbie Williams once suggested he had slept with all but one of the Spice Girls back in the day.

Reflecting on his comment recently, Robbie said: "I told a joke a long time ago. And it sort of got out of hand. You know Back For Good the Take That song, I used to sing that on stage."

"I still do. On one particular tour before it I introduced it by saying ‘I am very fortunate to have been in Take That and four out of five of the Spice Girls.’

"I would like to apologise to all the Spice Girls involved and their husbands and boyfriends. I know a few husbands and boyfriends weren’t too happy with the joke," Robbie admitted.

And while the comment may have been made years ago, Mel B decided it was time to address the remark during a recent interview, but after misquoting the Candy singer, she inadvertently spilled some deets on her former band mates.

"He actually publicly apologised to me for all that mess… saying he had apparently gotten it on with all five Spice Girls. He wishes!" she told The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

"I was the one he never did," Mel insisted. “He’s a friend of mine… Yuck! He’s been with my friends, I don’t want sloppy seconds."

So in actual fact, both Robbie and Mel are saying the same thing…  how interesting

Many of us grew up loving the Spice Girls, and after seeing this footage, we're so glad they were our role models.

In a video that has just surfaced online, the girls are seen shaming a sexist film director who wants to make them look sexy for the camera.

The girls were dressed in school uniforms, but the director wanted them to show some cleavage and their midriffs.

Having none of it, Mel B approaches the man and says, "Why did you ask that?"

The man in sun glasses and a yellow top asks, "What?" before Mel says, "To have cleavage showing and a midriff showing?"

The director replied that that's "every man's fantasy." UGH.

It didn't end their though, with Mel shouting, "Well you can f*ck off," before Geri and Victoria join in.

Geri calls him a "chauvinistic pig," and then Victoria takes his glasses and tries to sell them for "one quid."

Ah girls, you did us proud.

At this stage we all know that there will be a Spice Girls reunion, kind of.

Geri, Emma and Mel B have formed their own band, called GEM, and will be touring as a sort of Spice Girls hybrid.

Now, we were all hoping that GEM would be singing all our favourite Spice Girl hits (it;s what we really, really want).

However, if Victoria Beckham has her say, this will not be the case.

Posh Spice has admitted that she thinks GEM should perform original songs, and that singing Spice Girls tunes would make her "really really sad".

"I do think they should sing their own material though, because what we did in the Spice Girls was so special. If they sang Spice Girls songs I think I might be a bit sad" she revealed to STYLE magazine.

Victoria does support her friends in their new venture, but we think old songs may just be a sensitive spot for VB.

We can't WAIT for GEM!
