Meghan and Harry have truly brought the monarchy into 2020….by starting their own podcast!

This latest venture of the couple’s is proving to be a popular move. With star speakers such as Stacey Abrams, Brené Brown, Deepak Chopra, Rachel Cargle, Sir Elton John, and Tyler Perry all reflecting back on their 2020 for the couple’s show, the tone of Archewell Audio was set; A thoughtful, uplifting show, designed to inspire empathy and understanding.

The couple introduced the concept with an adorable two-minute introductory feature, that allows a glimpse into not only the nature of the show but the dynamic of Harry and Meghan’s relationship.

‘One of the things my husband and I have always talked about is our passion for meeting and hearing their stories. And no matter what the story, they usually offer you an understanding of where someone else is coming from and at the same time, reminding you in some way, of a story about yourself.’ Meghan tells listeners.

‘And that’s what this project is all about,’ Harry chimes in. ‘To bring forward different perspectives and voices that perhaps you haven’t heard before and find our common ground. Because when that happens, change really is possible.’

The couple tease and banter back and forth, over accents and Christmas music, giving us a rare look into the more informal side of the relationship.

‘We’re talking to some amazing people! They’re going to share their memories that have really helped to shape this past year, which we know has been a difficult one for everyone.’ Meghan described the format of the show that would arrive the 29th of December, a ‘holiday special’ reflecting on the year just past and the year to come.

‘It feels worth acknowledging that 2020 has connected us in ways that we could have never imagined, through endless acts of compassion and kindness.’ Harry explained the theme which came through in the 30-minute podcast that followed the initial announcement.

The guest speakers were selected as ‘people who inspire us’ according to Markle. The show was begun with a tribute to frontline and healthcare workers who have sacrificed so much in these scary and trying times and ended on a lighter note, with the couple’s son, Archie, making his debut vocal appearance on the podcast to wish listeners a giggly ‘Happy New Year’. And honestly? It’s the cutest thing we’ve heard all year.

The 19-month-old has reportedly been living in the States with his parents for the last year, so the tiniest hint of an American accent can be heard through the giggles. Parents Harry and Meghan dote as they coach him through the words and it’s the cutest little family moment to end on. We hope Archie will continue to make appearances on the show!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have announced they are pursuing legal action against the Mail on Sunday after they published Meghan’s private letter.

Prince Harry issued a moving statement tonight where he revealed he has watched his wife suffer in silence over the past few months and he won’t stand for the media’s bullying anymore.

He wrote, “My wife has become one of the latest victims of a British tabloid press that wages campaigns against individuals with no thought to the consequences – a ruthless campaign that has escalated over the past year, throughout her pregnancy and while raising our newborn son.

“There is a human cost to this relentless propaganda, specifically when it is knowingly false and malicious, and though we have continued to put on a brave face – as so many of you can relate to – I cannot begin to describe how painful it has been. Because in today’s digital age, press fabrications are repurposed as truth across the globe. One day’s coverage is no longer tomorrow’s chip-paper,” Harry stressed.

“Up to now, we have been unable to correct the continual misrepresentations – something that these select media outlets have been aware of and have therefore exploited on a daily and sometimes hourly basis.

“It is for this reason we are taking legal action, a process that has been many months in the making. The positive coverage of the past week from these same publications exposes the double standards of this specific press pack that has vilified her almost daily for the past nine months; they have been able to create lie after lie at her expense simply because she has not been visible while on maternity leave.

“She is the same woman she was a year ago on our wedding day, just as she is the same woman you’ve seen on this Africa tour.

The dad continued, “For these select media this is a game, and one that we have been unwilling to play from the start. I have been a silent witness to her private suffering for too long. To stand back and do nothing would be contrary to everything we believe in.”

The Duke said the behaviour of the British tabloid media has been disturbing and destructive, “The contents of a private letter were published unlawfully in an intentionally destructive manner to manipulate you, the reader, and further the divisive agenda of the media group in question. In addition to their unlawful publication of this private document, they purposely misled you by strategically omitting select paragraphs, specific sentences, and even singular words to mask the lies they had perpetuated for over a year.

Harry added, “There comes a point when the only thing to do is to stand up to this behaviour, because it destroys people and destroys lives. Put simply, it is bullying, which scares and silences people. We all know this isn’t acceptable, at any level. We won’t and can’t believe in a world where there is no accountability for this.

“Though this action may not be the safe one, it is the right one. Because my deepest fear is history repeating itself. I’ve seen what happens when someone I love is commoditised to the point that they are no longer treated or seen as a real person. I lost my mother and now I watch my wife falling victim to the same powerful forces.”

The case against Associated Newspapers will be privately funded by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The Duchess of Sussex is set to follow in the footsteps of Princess Diana and The Duchess of Cambridge by featuring on the cover of one of the most famous magazines.

Rumour has it British Vogue are eager for the mum-to-be to feature on the cover of their magazine and we are hoping the former Suits star says yes to their proposal.

Speaking of their desire to work with Meghan, Editor in Chief Edward Enninful told Express that the younger royals are paving the way for new traditions.

He gushed about how Meghan has breathed new life into the Royal Family: “I am so into the young royals. Meghan is an example of how far we’ve all come.”

Meghan won’t be the first royal to feature on the cover of the magazine. The late Princess Diana featured on the cover of the publication numerous times in 1981, 1991, 1994 and 1997.

The Duchess of Cambridge graced the cover of the 100th-anniversary issue of British Vogue so we are sure Meghan won’t pass up this opportunity.

Enniful even teased a joint cover with both Meghan and Kate. “They are different, it’s all fun and games. I’d love them both to be on the cover of Vogue,” he said.

The most recent royals to feature in the publication were Princess Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice. The sisters featured in the magazine last year so there’s no doubt the Royals are huge fans of British Vogue.

We can all admit we’d love to live like a member of the royal family, especially after seeing Prince Harry and Meghan’s stunning Oxford home.

The first ever image of the property has been released by The Sun and we must admit we are hopelessly in love with the duo’s country pad.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved into the £2.5million farmhouse before their May wedding last year.

The property has four bedrooms, a large dining room, an outdoor seating area and even a two-bedroom cottage for Harry and Meghan’s staff.

The dream home is set in four acres of beautiful Oxfordshire land.

A friend of the royal couple told The Sun: “Meghan adores the area. She and Harry love walking the dogs there, and they can entertain their friends in complete solitude.”

“It’s a fabulous place with stunning views and extraordinarily private. It’s set in a small bowl of the beautiful countryside so is not overlooked in any way,” they added.

It is believed the parents-to-be will keep the cottage, even when they move into their new home in the coming weeks.

Kensington Palace confirmed that the parents-to-be are planning on moving early in the new year ahead of the arrival of their first child.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will move into Frogmore Cottage once refurbishments are complete. It is believed the house is undergoing a large transformation to ensure it is a suitable home for a family.

The 10 bedroom house will be turned into a lavish family home. It will feature a nursery and even has space for a yoga studio and a gym.

Frogmore Cottage is located in Windsor and holds a very special place in Harry and Meghan’s hearts.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to welcome their first child into the world in the coming months. Picking a baby name is one of the biggest decisions any new parents will face and it’s no different for Harry and Meghan.

There’s even more pressure on the pair as the world will be waiting to hear what name the beloved couple pick for their baby.

Many people believe they will pick Diana if they have a daughter, after Harry’s late-mum, however, new reports have seen a spike in one girls name and we adore it.

Bookmaker Coral has found that Victoria is officially the front-runner if former Suits actress Meghan gives birth to a baby girl.

Victoria has been a popular name with the royals for generations and is a perfect option for Harry and Meghan’s first born.

The name Victoria is the Latin word for 'victory' or 'conquer' and is used as the feminine form corresponding to the name Victor.

Victoria was the name of the goddess of victory in Roman mythology.

The name is the current favourite at 8-1, followed by Diana at 10-1 and Alice at 12-1.

If the Duke and Duchess welcome a boy it is believed they will call him Albert. However, other reports claim Harry is hoping to honour his grandfather Prince Philip by picking Philip as his son’s moniker.

Albert is currently at 10-1. Other popular choices include Arthur and Alfred.

We are so excited for Harry and Meghan to become parents. There’s no doubt they’ll pick the perfect name for their baby boy or girl when the time comes.
