Hacks are a pretty common thing nowadays.

There's beauty hacks, styling hacks, cleaning hacks, hair hacks… the list goes on and on.

But if you have like, a jazillion dollars in your bank account, like Kim Kardashian does, you wouldn't think she'd do this to her pricey designer dress.

The mother-of-two admitted on her app that she used tea bags to dye her dress so the mesh panel matched her skin tone better.

"We had just two hours before we left for Cannes, so we put Earl Grey tea bags in a sink and put the dress in for about 30 minutes to dye it,' she said.

But apparently, the ordeal didn't end there: "It took right up until the red carpet for it to dry. We had to blow-dry it right before I put it on and it was still a little damp — but it worked and it made the mesh a better match to my skin tone."

See, we're not the only ones that use hairdryers on our clothes seconds before we leave the house.

We hail Emma Watson here at Shemazing! HQ for many reasons, but one reason is her fashion choices.

She's constantly thinking outside-of-the-box when it comes to her style statements, and this year's Met Gala look was no different.

The actress worked the red carpet in a Calvin Klein and Eco Age dress that stood out from the crowds with its unique design of a bustier, trousers and a long dress tail.

But one thing that really makes it different is that it was made from… RECYCLED PLASTIC BOTTLES.

Yep, plastic bottles.

"Plastic is one of the biggest pollutants on the planet," Emma wrote in a Facebook post explaining her look. "Being able to repurpose this waste and incorporate it into my gown for the ‪#‎MetGala‬ proves the power that creativity, technology and fashion can have by working together."

"Each and every part of this beautiful gown has been produced with sustainability in mind," she explained. "The zippers on the gown are made from recycled materials and the inner bustier has been crafted from organic cotton … The organic silk used in the lining of my gown is certified to a standard that guarantees the highest environmental and social standards throughout production.

"It is my intention to repurpose elements of the gown for future use. The trousers can be worn on their own, as can the bustier, and the train can be used for a future red carpet look."

What a woman!

Who could ever forget the great dress debacle of 2015.

What was supposed to be a simple picture of an inocuous dress turned out to be the greatest divisive internet moment of our generation.

Was it black and blue or white and gold?

But just as everyone has cooled off about the dress, we have yet another clothing item tearing the internet apart in the form of this Adidas jacket posted online yesterday.

And not only can no one decide on it's exact shade but there seems to be several varying colours that people are seeing rather than just two option.

We may be reaching breaking point here people.

Posted on tumblr yesterday by user poppunkblogger, the picture exploded as people argued over the jackets true shade as they saw it.

And it's not pretty.

So… what colour do you see? (Dare we ask)

Over the weekend, for perhaps the first time in the history of the Internet (although not Irish internet) meteorologist fashion took over everything.

One woman posted an Amazon link to an inexpensive, brightly coloured dress in a Facebook group for female TV meteorologists about a month ago. Yes, these types of Facebook groups exist… now that we know it is all we can think about.

Is Jean a member?

Since then, weather broadcasters all over the US have been buying this magical dress. Now, meteorologists on Twitter are talking about the Sisterhood of the Travelling Dress.

The dress costs around €20 on Amazon and €57 straight from the vendor, Homeyee, a China-based the e-commerce site whose website is full of “lorem ipsum” text and some interesting translations.

Meteorologists are hungry for fashion recommendations, apparently.

Their profession require clothes that are comfortable enough to move around in and fancy enough to be seen wearing on the telly. Which is fair enough really when you think of how many times you have heard people pass comment on ‘that one from the weather’s’ outfit of the day.

“Sometimes what to wear is biggest stress of my job,” the Weather Channel’s Jen Carfagno told Slate. “Don't look too old, or too young. Too tight will make you look like ready for the dance club.”

“Too baggy will make you look frumpy. Black every day is boring. Patterns are tough with the lights and camera.

"Staying wrinkle-free is tough. How many styles of red dresses are there anyway?”

We are exhausted just thinking about it, to be honest.

The appeal of this dress is not just the flattering cut that many meteorologists are raving about – it also have the perfect neckline for pinning a mic on to.

Practical, flattering and cheap!

The holy trinity of dresses basically. We understand the internet obsession now. When can we get one?

Now 32 weeks into her first pregnancy, there's no doubt that model Coco Austin looks incredible.

In fact, as proven by a load of recent photographs, the star – whose birth-name is Nicole Marrow – hardly looks like she's expecting at all.

Taking to Instagram last night while deciding on an outfit for the evening, the wife of rapper and actor Ice T donned not one but THREE different dresses for the camera.

And suffice to say that none are typical of maternity wear for a women seven months gone.

The first snap – arguably the most striking – shows the 36-year-old in a sweeping sheer black, polka dot gown.

Underneath she wore high-waisted pants, though strategically-placed dots meant she could go braless.

"Feeling my inner Lady Gaga in this dress," she said.

Her second option was also full-length: a gold sparkly number that boasted a seriously low-cut neckline and long sleeves.

"Another option… Picture does not give this dress justice… it's so sparkly," she explained in the accompanying caption.

Finally, Coco put on a dramatic lace and tulle dress – complete with a sweeping neckline and (quelle surprise) lots of décolletage.

"Ok now I'm just having fun… Playing dress-up is such a girlie thing to do!" she told her fans.

Married for 13 years, she and Ice T, 57, are expecting their first child together, a girl whom they have said they will name Chanel, before the end of the year.

He already has two children – a daughter and a son – from previous relationships.

For 17- or 18-year-olds who have recently polished off their Leaving Certificates and are on the cusp of travel, college, or a first job, it evidently remains a seriously big deal.

The Debs: still a rite-of-passage for tens of thousands of young Irish people – it furthermore is an incredibly expensive event.

Indeed, some young women are parting with an astonishing €1,115 to ensure that they are picture-perfect on the evening in question.

Yes, the inaugural SHEmazing! Debs survey is now out – and it reveals an awful lot about the spending habits of the average debutante in this country.

We spoke to more than 900 hundred gals, and while a four-figure sum may at first seem excessive, spiralling costs quickly add up.

For example, party-goers spend an average of €132 on a pair of tickets… which goes some way to explaining why more than a quarter of attendees snub a date, opting to enjoy the night with friends instead.

Furthermore, young women spend €367 finding the perfect dress, shoes and accessories, and an additional €261 on hair, make-up and beauty treatments.

More than half will also start their preparations a full THREE months before the Big Day – investing in an array of beauty treatments that would make an Oscar nominee proud.

And while most of us end up having a brilliant night, obviously with so much pressure and expectation riding on a single event, things can go wrong too: drinking too much, arguing with friends and the eventual choice of outfit all feature among debutante regrets.

"Although the Debs is a once in a lifetime event, it is shocking to think school-leavers are spending so much preparing for just one night," Susan Vickers, SHEmazing! spokesgirl, said in response.

She furthermore stated: “Our SHEmazing! girls tell us they are feeling under huge pressure to emulate the kind of red carpet looks they see their celebrity idols pull off so easily."

There’s nothing like picking up a fashion bargain online – and then having the package delivered to discover a perfect fit.

And while we’ve long been huge fans of dresses.ie – it launched in 2007 – for serious style steals, lately we’ve fallen in love with the site all over again.

That’s because it’s been given a snazzy overhaul and now looks oh-so sleek.

The same celebrity-inspired fashions are all still there in dress form, along with a smattering of tops, skirts, and jackets for those looking for something a little different.

An Irish brand, it also wins points for being really affordable; even the more upmarket/event dresses come in at under €100, while a load of stock is priced at €40 or less (hurrah!).

Here, SHEmazing! takes a peek at our favourite pieces from revamped site…

Paper Dolls navy and white 2-in-1 dress, €80;

We absolutely won't give Kylie Jenner a hard-time for her occasional fashion mishaps: after all, she's still only 18 and is frankly A LOT better turned out than we'll ever be.

Still, if she'd come to us beforehand and asked our opinion (because we're good like that) on a faux suede, high-necked, long-sleeved dress in a burnt orange hue (teamed with a mustard suede bag no less), we probably would have said: "Kyles, that's a look best left well alone."

And how wrong we would have been… because Ms Jenner yesterday proved that she can ROCK the most challenging of pieces.

The teenage star, who was out and about in LA with her 25-year-old rapper boyfriend Tyga, looked oh-so amazing in the number – which incredibly costs just €84 from mistressrocks.com

Understandably, it is currently sold out – but more stock is expected in October and you can still pre-order the item (yes, they deliver to Ireland too).

Completing her look with blue contact lenses, Kylie wore her dark hair – which currently seems to be free of extensions – pulled back off her face in pigtail braids.

However, note to self: despite the dress itself being something we could actually afford, we'd be saving a long, long time for her shoes and bag – which come from Alexandre Birman and Balenciaga respectively.

Come through hrush!!!! @styledbyhrush

We’ve probably all left something behind in a hotel or hostel at some stage; usually it’s a phone charger, or a much-loved bra, or still half-full bottle of fake-tan.

The worst is weddings – somehow you never manage to make it home with everything you arrived with.

Do you ring and enquire about getting it back? Or simply take the loss on the chin – vowing to be more cautious next time?

Well, it seems if you’re Nicki Minaj you fall into the latter category… even if the item in question is worth a cool €10,000.

Yes, the rapper and singer was in New York City over the weekend for her brother’s wedding, which was held at the Coral House in Long Island.

The 32-year-old evidently brought along a few outfit options too; an unworn, full-length Emilio Pucci gown was left in the wardrobe in the bridal suite, where the star had been getting ready.

The tags, which are still attached, confirm that the garment is worth the eye-watering five-figure sum. As well as boasting beautifully crafted beading and sequin, the silk number has intrinsic detailing on the hem, waist, and sleeves.

Now Butch Yamali, the owner of the Coral House, is trying to get the dress back to her – but, given its value, he's cautious of handing it over too readily.

Indeed, he says someone has already called asking for the dress, but Mr Yamali was suspicious that the individual in question wasn't legitimately from Nicki's camp… so he declined to part with it.

Meaning as yet, the €10K dress remains unclaimed. The exact same dress was previously seen on a pregnant Ciara at the Grammys last year – so perhaps Nicki feels getting it back just isn't worth the hassle.

Could we maybe have it instead?

Earlier this month, it was announced that Jennifer Aniston got married to her fiancé of three years, Justin Theroux.

The couple managed to pull it off, on Wednesday the 5th of August, while keeping it a huge secret from the public, with only guests being aware that it was on.

The ceremony took place in their Bel Air mansion with a host of celebrity guests present including Orlando Bloom, Emily Blunt and Jimmy Kimmel.

But besides all of that, all people really care about is what her dress looked like. So people got a bit excited when this image popped up on social media claiming to be the first picture from the wedding.

A fake Jennifer Aniston Facebook page posted a picture of a woman in an extravagant wedding dress with the caption "You have my whole heart for my whole life. #WeddingDress."

Fans went wild when they saw this picture with so many of them congratulating her on how amazing she looks and a number of news outlets shared the photo as the first shot of Jennifer in her wedding dress.

But the truth came out pretty quickly. The fact that there is no blue tick beside the Facebook name is the first indication that this was a fake and then to really confirm out doubts, the picture was found on Pinterest. Fail.

It was announced today that Madonna is collaborating with Moschino's designer and creative director, Jeremy Scott for her forthcoming Rebel Heart tour.

It is not the first time the dynamic duo have teamed up: Madonna wore one of his designs to the Costume Institute Gala earlier this year. Jeremy also kitted out the singer and her entourage for her latest single Bitch, I'm Madonna

We just hope Jeremy puts no capes in his creations for her tour!

Moschino, the Italian luxury fashion house is renowned for its over-the-top and outlandish designs, with Jeremy designing costumes for many of Hollywood's elite. He famously made the costumes for Katy Perry's Super Bowl half-time show earlier this year and he has also worked closely with Miley Cyrus.

It's a big year for Mr Scott though, as he has a movie coming out about his life and rise in the fashion industry. Due to be released this September, it will feature appearances from Jared Leto, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Rita Ora and Paris Hilton.

We know all about the ceremony, the guests, the venue, the food, and the tears (Mark's – not Michelle's).

We even heard of their incredible-sounding Dirty Dancing routine, and have been given a glimpse of their Maldives honeymoon.

But what we've really been waiting for is news of The Dress.

Yes, the Hello! magazine containing exclusive snaps of the celebrity wedding of the year hits shelves tomorrow – and the sneak-peak cover offers an amazingly exciting taster of what the beautiful bride wore.

It had already been widely reported in advance that the 27-year-old actress had designed the gown herself, and SHEmazing! can now reveal that it is in fact a bespoke creation imagined by Michelle in conjunction with Israeli atelier, Galia Lahav.

Michelle purchased the dress at Brown's Brides in central London, where she had been spotted a week before her Big Day getting a last-minute fitting.

It is adorned with stunning French lace and delicate Swarovski crystals, and features a cascading silk tulle fishtail. Arguably most striking of all, however, is the plunging lace-trimmed deep-V back.

Her veil, which she wore for the wedding ceremony but then removed for the reception, is by Peter Langner, who has been creating stunning pieces from his Roman studio for 25 years.

Meanwhile, Mark, 28, certainly looks handsome in his black tuxedo and bowtie. "She looked so amazing. Her wedding dress was just perfect," the groom told Hello!.

The reality TV star also summed up his love for his wife, saying: "Not only are you beautiful, but you are one of the most incredible people I have ever met. You truly are sensational in every single way."

Michelle herself was understandably equally glowing: "Seeing Mark looking back at me as I walked down the aisle was the best feeling ever," she commented.

Furthermore visible in the teaser magazine shot, which was released earlier this evening, is the lush setting of Hengrave Hall in Suffolk, the breathtaking 16th-century manor where the couple held their lavish reception.

Mark and Michelle's 29-page wedding album, complete with details from inside the ceremony, tears from the groom, their first dance plus the Dirty Dancing inspired routine, are all in the latest edition of Hello! magazine, which is on sale tomorrow.
