So, of all beauty products, bronzer is the one thing I couldn't leave the house without.

Genuinely, I burn through bronzer like an actual Kardashian – an addiction that can get pretty expensive.

I used to absolutely swear by Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess, you know that sun disc that is the size of your face?

Well, truthfully, I still love it to my very core, but it was just too expensive to maintain.

And so, I began looking elsewhere, in a desperate attempt to find an alternative to my all-time favourite bronzer.

In a shocking twist, I was successful.

I discovered the wonderful world of NOTE Cosmetics, and I've honestly never looked back.

NOTE Cosmetics Bronzing Powder costs €15 quid, and be picked up in most decent pharmacies

It has a silky texture that gives your skin a healthy and natural glowing suntan, and yet is light enough that you don't feel caked.

The bronzer has an SPF 15 in it, protecting my delicate skin from those pesky UV rays.

The quality of this sun disc is GENUINELY second to none, and I'm not just saying that for the goodness of health.

I swear by it, and the fact that it ois a fraction of the cost of Estee Lauder is yet another reason I'm on board.

If you are a bronzing addict, do yourself a favour and give the NOTE bronzer a whirl.

Trust me, you'll be glad you did.

Being blessed with a pasty Irish complexion can make shopping for bronzing and sculpting products a little tricky.

We've all suffered through those moments where we suddenly realise that what looked like beautifully sculpted cheekbones in our bedrooms this morning, actually looks like two orange stripes lining our faces.

Image result for TAN FUNNY

Unless you apply a layer or two of fake tan, most bronzers are simply too dark and orange-toned for cooler skin tones, but now one iconic bronzer is being re-launched in a shade for pasty girls.

Benefits Hoola Bronzer is a makeup bag staple loved by the Kardashians, makeup artists, and normal girls alike.

Now the iconic bronzer is getting a long overdue paler companion, in the form of Hoola Lite.

The shade is perfect for pasty girls all year round, or for fans of a tan in the wintertime when their post-holiday glow is less prominent.

The bronzing powder is already available online, and we can't wait to give it a try on our wintry complexions.

Bronzer and blusher compacts must come with special floor-attracting magnets inside them, because there's no other reason for the frequency with which we drop them.

Unlike a lipstick or mascara, once your bronzer hits the floor it's dead. Gone. Done for.

Well, until now.

US beauty vlogger AlexandrasGirlyTalk has come up with a downright genius solution for fixing smashed bronzer, blusher or powder without a whole lot of trouble to you. And from what we can see, it works a treat.

To fix a standard bronzer/powder compact, you'll need:

– Around 1.5 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol (this is available in most chemists and won't affect the consistency of your powder)
– A butter knife
– A piece of kitchen roll
– Something with a small flat circular bottom like a shot glass or the lid of a bottle.

Here's what to do:

1. Use the pads of your fingers to press as much of the cracked powder back into place as you can, getting it as neat as possible.

2. Pour a small amount of the rubbing alcohol (around 0.5 of a tablespoon) onto the powder. Leave the rest aside.

3. The alcohol will quickly evaporate. Again, use your fingers to gently press the powder back into place.

4. Pour the rest of the rubbing alcohol onto the powder and let it evaporate for around 10 – 15 minutes.

5. While the powder is still slightly wet, use a butter knife to smooth the surface, getting the corners and middle as smooth as you can.

6. Fold the kitchen paper into a square and place it onto the powder.

7. Then, using your shot glass or bottle lid, press down on the powder to get the surface as flat as possible.

Done! See Alexandra's full video here:

If you get a bit carried away with the alcohol tonight, chances are, you’ll wake up to a horrible ‘hangover face’ tomorrow. But dull skin and tired eyes aren’t something you have to live with. Here are a few tips and tricks you can use to fix the dreaded hangover look.

Precautions before snoozing off
This will make your job much easier in the morning. Remember to take your make-up off before hitting the sheets. If you can, drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration at night.

Begin with the eyes
Apply cucumber slices to your eyes or press the curved side of two cold spoons down your lids to reduce puffiness.

Keep it natural
Use natural colors around your eyes to make them bigger and brighter. Dark colors will only put emphasis on irritated and red eyes.

Tint and blush
Sweep a bit of bronzer and blush onto your face. This will make you look alive and full of color.

Smile
A smile is the best make-up a girl can wear!
