The results of a post mortem into Dolores O' Riordan's death were due to be delivered today following the singer's untimely passing at the age of 46 earlier this week.

However, recent reports state that the inquest into the singer's death has been adjourned as the coroner awaits further tests results.

According to the BBC,  the inquest has been adjourned until April 3.

Dolores O' Riordan, who was found dead in a London hotel on Monday, will be laid to rest in her native Ireland, however the unexpected adjournment means funeral arrangements have yet to be confirmed.

Speaking to the media, the parish priest from Dolores's home town said: "The plan is for her to be buried here at home. When that will be will depend on when her body is released."

The mother-of-three has been commemorated countless times on social media in the wake of her passing, with fellow musicians and ardent music fans paying tribute to her artistic contribution.

Speaking to the Limerick Leader, Dolores' mother, Eileen, made a point of thanking the public for their support in the days that followed her daughter's death..

"The people who queued to sign the book of condolence – some of them standing in the rain – it has meant a huge amount to us and has been a great source of comfort," she said.

Her partner, Olé Korestsky, told music fans: "My heart is broken and it is beyond repair. Dolores is beautiful. Her art is beautiful, Her family is beautiful. The energy she continues to radiate is undeniable."

Look, puberty is far from easy.

No matter how self-assured you may have appeared during your teenage years, very few of us were without our insecurities.

And Jamie Dornan was apparently no different.

In fact, the actor recently admitted that he often struggled with the repercussions of being a late developer, telling Graham Norton: "I was quite small and wasn’t hairy at all – I was 15 and looked seven."

Reflecting on one particularly ill-advised decision he made during this time, the Co Down native admitted that he enlisted the help of a wig in order to appear more mature.

"On one particular day, I was in an amateur drama play and was going to a party after. For my role, I had bits of a black wig glued to my face for a beard and I decided to keep it for the party so I would look older," he explained.

While we can see how a beard could have helped him look 18 or older, it seems good ol' Jamie was thinking outside the box.

"I also decided to cut up the rest of the wig and glue it to my private parts just in case I got lucky," he added.

Yes, you read that correctly. Jamie Dornan once pasted artificial hair to his pelvic region on the off-chance 'he got lucky'.

"I didn’t get lucky and removing the bits of wig ripped out the very small amount of natural hair I had down there. It was a physically and emotionally painful experience."

If you ask us, the luck lay in the fact no one was actually exposed to that half-baked merkin.

Since Kim and Kanye welcomed their new arrival into the world on Wednesday, the rumour mill have gone into overdrive as fans speculated heavily that 20-year-old Kylie served as Kimye's carrier.

The rumours seemed to make sense, with Kylie and Kim's surrogate being due around the same time based on estimates.

However, Kim has taken to her website to put those rumours to bed.

A post shared by Kylie (@kyliejenner) on

'After exploring many options, Kanye and I decided to use a gestational carrier,' Kim told her fans on kimkardashianwest.com.

'Although I have used the term surrogate in the past, a gestational carrier is actually the technical term for a woman who carries a baby that she has no biological relationship to.' – note the emphasis on having no biological relationship.

'A traditional surrogate donates her egg, is artificially inseminated with the father's sperm and then carries the baby to term.'

'Since we implanted my fertilised egg in our gestational carrier, our baby is biologically mine and Kanye's.'

'You can either choose someone that you know or you can go through an agency, like Kanye and I did.'

We guess that's that, then.

Kylie has not posted to Instagram in over three weeks time, leading many to believe that she has already given birth.

Back in the day, when we looked to our futures as adults, we aspired to be an amazing pop sensation like Britney Spears or an iconic actress like Alicia Silverstone.

We pinned posters of Britney (featuring dangerously low-rise jeans) to our walls and watched The Craft over and over again in the hope of perfecting our own craft of acting.

Nowadays, however, it seems that kids are aspiring to grow up to be internet celebrities, rather than masters of the arts.

A survey of UK primary school children revealed that working in social media is a major career aspiration for youngsters.

Ninety-four percent of teens access the internet using their phone every single day, according to a 2016 Pew Research study, so it's not surprising that the upcoming generation view the internet famous as legitimate celebrities.

'For more and more children and young people, online celebrities and YouTube gaming 'vloggers' have taken the place of TV and movie stars,' reads the reports, according to Breaking News.

Many online celebs start out as teens, with the likes of Acacia Brinley, Shane Dawson and Lele Pons uploading content online when they were still in secondary school and having now culminated millions upon millions of followers.

'It could be argued that this is due to the growing fame and attraction of YouTube and video blogging stars, who are especially popular among younger audiences,' reads the study.

'Also, these choices may also speak to children's present worlds. Many seven to 11-year-olds will spend their time gaming and perhaps simultaneously watching celebrity gaming bloggers instructing them how to do it.'

Luckily, traditional aspirational careers such as sportspeople, teachers and vets still topped the charts, with YouTuber coming in fourth.

The parents of 13 siblings who were found confined in a home in California have pleaded not guilty to their alleged crimes.

Authorities believe that the 13 children imprisoned for years by their parents.

During this time they were beaten, shackled to their beds, starved for days and even taunted with food that they were not allowed to eat, a prosecutor said according to Reuters.

The siblings were described as 'malnourished' and underweight, and told authorities they were 'starving' when they were found.

The parents, David and Louise Turpin, were arrested after one child escaped and contacted authorities, leading to the discovery of her 12 imprisoned siblings.

It was originally believed that all 13 were children due to their malnourishment, but it was later revealed that the siblings were ages between two and 29 years of age.

David Turpin also stands accused of molesting one of his young children.

The couple have pleaded not guilty to all of their charges, and did not address the court during proceedings.

Khoe Kardashian is clearly living her best life at the moment, enjoying her first pregnancy with boyfriend Tristan Thompson.

However, it seems like the ghosts of boyfriends past are determined to haunt her – luckily big sister Kim is here to defend her.

Discussing their history, Lamar Odom decided to make a pretty scathing joke about Khloe’s choice of partner in a recent interview.

A post shared by Khloé & Tristan (@khlostan) on

‘I understand when it's over, it's over,’ he said, in a promo video for BET's Mancave.

‘When she was with her second or third NBA ball player, I can see that.’

Khloe and Lamar have had an intense history together, divorcing in 2013 but not finalising the divorce until 2016.

A post shared by Syd Scott Entertainment (@ssenttv) on

In a clap back to Odem’s comment, Kim tweeted: ‘Or second or third brothel.’

In 2015 Lamar was found in a Texas brothel after having taken an overdose of viagra, alcohol and cocaine.

During his hospital recovery, while he was in a coma, it was reported that Khloe was at his bedside.

We’re thinking Lamar is having a major case of ‘you don’t know a good thing until it’s gone’ if you ask us.

Reports show that the number of homeless families in Ireland has decreased.

The monthly report by the government shows that in December, the number of children in emergency accommodation decreased by 254.

It also shows that there were 5,508 homeless adults, 3,079 homeless children and 1,408 homeless families, according to RTE.

Housing Minister Eoghan Murphy considered the report to be ‘good progress.’

However, homelessness charities remind the public that numbers tend to drop in December and increase once more during this month.

On the other hand, adult male homelessness increased.

Last month, The Simon Community, a housing and homeless charity, saw a 33 percent rise in the number of people using its services.

According to their Annual Report for 2016, this increase includes more than 11,000 people total, who were either homeless or at risk of losing the roof over their heads.

For the past two days, the Dail has been in discussion regarding the referendum to repeal the 8th Amendment.

In a break through moment, Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin told the delegation that he supports the repeal of the amendment.

‘If we are sincere in our compassion for women, and if we are sincere in respecting their choices, then we must act,’ he said.

‘The 8th Amendment has been shown to cause real damage to Irish women,’ he continued.

’Following a  long period of reflection and assessment of evidence before the Oireachtas committee, I believe we should remove the Eighth Amendment from Bunreacht na hÉireann and I will vote accordingly,’ he finished.

Martin's words are a departure from his original stance of being against a repeal of the amendment.

His words were met with praise by pro-choice activists.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar is expected to reveal his own views on the 8th at the end of this month.

'The Abortion Rights Campaign is glad to see that the recommendations of the Citizens’ Assembly and the JOC have been accepted by a majority of TDs, including Fianna Fáil leader Michéal Martin,' said ARC spokesperson Linda Kavanagh.

'We’d like to commend all TDs who spoke in favour of repealing the 8th Amendment and adopting the JOC recommendations.'

'Many TDs have educated themselves on this topic and are finally in line with the majority of the Irish people.'

'We want to acknowledge how they bravely faced up to a conversation and debate that successive governments have avoided for decades.'

However, Ms Kavanagh expressed concern about reports that the government may decide to replace rather than repeal the 8th Amendment:

'Abortion and the healthcare of those who can get pregnant in Ireland should not be a constitutional matter,' she said in a statement.

'Repealing the 8th Amendment is the first step in making the much needed changes to our healthcare system to bring us in line with international standards and medical best practice.'

Love was quite literally in the air this week when whe two air stewards had their marriage officiated by Pope Francis during a flight to Chile.

Paula Podest, 39, and Carlos Ciufardi, 41, who have been together for 10 years, were both working as flight attendants on the Catholic leader's plane when the idea struck.

The pair, who have two children together, have been civilly married since 2010 and had been planning to hold a religious ceremony.

However, their plans were halted after the church they had planned to marry in was damaged in a earthquake.

After explaining their circumstances, Pope Francis offered to officiate their marriage there and then – 36,000 feet above sea level.

“What he said to us is very important: ‘This is the sacrament the world needs, the sacrament of marriage’,” Ciufardi told reporters.

“Hopefully this will motivate couples around the world to get married.”

A photo released by The Vatican shows a handwritten document, signed by the Pope, validating the couple's marriage.

Twitter users were quick to congratulate the happy couple and commend Pope Francis for his kind act.

Talk about taking love to new heights…

Saoirse Ronan may be well in her way to becoming one of Hollywood's most in-demand stars, but you'll be glad to know that even she is no expert in the world of romance.

Appearing on The Ellen Show today, the Irish actress admitted that she wasn't “into the whole 'let's got out for dinner'” thing, before stumbling through the most drawn-out game of 'Who'd You Rather' we've ever seen.

Taking the time to really consider her options, Saoirse justified almost every decision by saying the gentleman in question would make a great “companion” – basically missing the whole premise of the game.

As the game went on (for an entire five minutes, btw), Ellen's frustration began to grow.

“So you really, really think these things through,” the host noted after Saoirse gave a lengthy explanation as to why she thinks Zac Efron would be good craic in a night out.

"I feel like I'm talking to a 70-year-old woman," she added.

However, it was all in good fun and Ellen even joked that Saoirse's final choice was waiting for her backstage.

Gardaí in Dublin have launched an investigation after a mother claimed her son was attacked in the new Scientology HQ in Firhouse.

She told officers in Rathfarnham Garda Station her son, 14, had suffered a fractured wrist, cuts and bruising following an assault that took place at the site at around 6pm on Saturday.

A source told The Irish Sun: “This is a very serious accusation involving a child and will be thoroughly investigated. The child has suffered a serious injury and has been left in a distressed state.

“Gardai will also hope to have the full co-operation of the Church of Scientology on this matter.”

The centre has faced huge opposition from local residents and ex-members since its opening last October.

Local Sinn Fein TD Sean Crowe said: “I would have huge concerns about the allegation a minor has been assaulted at this facility.

“A lot of paranoia surrounds this group and there are also a lot of concerns in the local community about what their aims and objectives are.

“I’ve huge concerns in relation to the group itself. It is a cult. I wouldn’t be encouraging anybody to be using the facilities.”

The woman and son are said to be not connected to the facility.
