Will Smith has taken to Instagram to announce that he, along with his son Jaden, has launched a sustainable drinking water brand in the UK.

Just UK is hitting shelves soon, and it's USP comes in the form of the fact that components of the packaging are made up of plant-based plastic.

'A few years ago My Son, Jaden started a company, setting out to make bottled water a little safer for our world,' Will announced.

A post shared by Will Smith (@willsmith) on

'Ours isn’t a perfect solution – yet. But it is a step in the right direction,' reads the brand manifesto.

'We consider the materials we use, where they come from and how they can be reused. It is our mission to create better options for the things we need in our lives.'

The bottle is made mostly from recyclable paper, while the the cap is made of plant based plastic.

The 'plant plastic' used by Just is derived from sugar cane, meaning it is made from almost entirely renewable sources.

Plant plastic can also be made from bamboo, corn and soy, but the company chose sugar cane as it grows very densely.

This allows them to utilise the land to produce the maximum amount of plant plastic without negatively impacting the surrounding environment by deforesting areas for farmland.

As for the water itself, it actually comes from the River Braid, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland.

The water has previously just been available in the USA, but it is coming to UK Boots stores on August 20th, and Wholefoods UK in September – we're keeping our eyes peeled for an Irish launch date.

The final festival of the Irish summer is fast approaching, and the thought of packing for it is already exhausting.

We’ve decided to make things a little easier for you by rounding up our festival beauty essentials list, so you don’t even have to think about what to add to the contents of your beauty bag.

NOTE Ultra Black Dipliner €5.95,  PS… Brow Gel Mascara, €1.50

Starting with the eyes, most of us like to slather on the eye makeup for a festival, to make a statement without a huge amount of effort.

If you want to look ‘done’ without a full face, then a lashing of mascara teamed with these two products is the way to go.

First up, a simple brow gel from Penneys much-loved PS… range (which is now certified cruelty-free, btw). This gel is tinted, adding definition to sparse brows while tidying fuller ones.

To make tired. three-day-weekend eyes stand out, a slick and flick of winged liner will do the trick, and NOTE Cosmetics does a douzy of one, in an ultra-black opaque formulation.

e.l.f. Aqua Beauty Molten Liquid Eyeshadow €7.25, KISS Blow Out Lash €6.00

For an elevated eye look, we’re all about the one step eyeshadow. At a festival, there’s no time to be faffing about with cut creases and blending.

e.l.f has launched a range of metallic liquid eyeshadows, for a shimmery eye look in one brush stroke. It’s also enriched with Purified Water and Vitamin E to help hydrate the skin – essential at a festival for tired eyes.

If you’re not a lash extensions gal, a pair of fluffy eyelashes can take your festival makeup look from afternoon bop to rave in the woods real quick.

We’re hankering after the new Blow Out Lash line from KISS, who are bringing you the wispy lash look on a budget.

PrettyLittleThing In your dreams tahitian gold face gems €9.80

For some added sparkle and as a finishing touch, we’re all about the face gems.

While the more the merrier seems to be the look du jour, there’s nothing wrong with a more subtle sparkle – like these Tahitian games from PrettyLittleThing.

With just 3 gem clusters making up the set, it’s a classic but low maintenance festival look.

Uriage Thermal Water Spray 50ml €5.00, Garnier Skin Naturals Quilted Cleansing Wipes €2.49, PAYOT Déodorant Fraîcheur Energisant €13.95

While makeup is a pleasant addition to a festival look, we also need a few other beauty essentials in our arsenal.

If we’re lucky enough to get hot weather, a refreshing cool-down thermal spray is a must have to avoid dried-out skin and general over heating. Uriage Thermal Water Spray has the highest concentration of minerals and trace elements of any spray out there, so we’re packing a mini version in our side pocket.

Makeup removal can be a tall order when you’re falling into a tent at 5am, so frankly while we know makeup wipes are a skin sin, you can’t really pack a festival makeup bag without them. We’re opting for these Garnier Cleansing Wipes that even take off waterproof makeup.

Lastly, we want to take a really good deodorant with us (just in case the queue for the showers is outrageous). PAYOT Déodorant Fraîcheur Energisant has the most divine scent of bamboo and green tea, keeping us fresh to death all weekend long.

Redken’s Color Extend Blondage Shampoo €11.95, Garnier Fresh-Mix Face Sheet Shot Mask With Vitamin C €5.95 from pharmacies

Now, once you manage to drag yourself home on the Monday, you may want to take on some pampering tasks to make you look human again for work on Tuesday (S.O.S).

First up is a shower, obviously, but while you’re in there blondies, you may want to take account of the damage your processed locks could have acquired from three days of sun. Redken’s Color Extend Blondage Shampoo banishes brassiness and will have your blonde looking so fresh it will seem like you stepped out of a Stradbally salon rather than a field.

Once the kettle is boiling and you have the hair up in a towel, it’s time to address the skin issue. Understandably, once all the glitter has been washed away, your skin may resemble a mountain precipice – slightly grey and a little bumpy after three days and nights of drinking.

A serum infused sheet mask will sort you right out, and we’re lusting after the good work of Garnier, who have served up a Vitamin C Shot Tissue Mask.

Vitamin C is a skin saviour, with anti ageing and brightening benefits. If your skin cant wait, you could even pop it on on the bus home from the festival.

Festival beauty bag, sorted.

Kendall Jenner has ruffled some serious feathers in the modelling industry with a recent statement she made to Love Magazine.

'Since the beginning we’ve been super selective about what shows I would do. I was never one of those girls who would do like 30 shows a season or whatever the fuck those girls do,' she told the magazine.

'More power to ‘em. But I had a million jobs, not only catwalks but everything else. The whole combination was very overwhelming and I started to freak out a little bit and needed to take a step back,' she continued.

A post shared by LOVE MAGAZINE (@thelovemagazine) on

The first part of her statement has pissed off quite a few of her fellow models, who had made statements in response to her words.

Sharing a series of snaps of models sleeping and eating backstage, supermodel Vlada Roslyakova, who has appeared on over 400 magazine covers in her stellar career, clapped back in defence of hard working models.

A post shared by Vlada Roslyakova (@vladaroslyakova) on

'Just a REMINDER That some of “THOSE GIRLS” who would do like 86 shows a season, not 30, “or whatever the fuck else those girls do” didn’t have a luxury to say NO to jobs and be “super selective about what shows they do” in order to be able to BUILD their CAREERS during non-instagram days, and get “more power,'" the Russian model wrote.

'RESPECT and Thumbs Up for all the LADIES who went and still are going thru those days of hard WORK, surviving on two hours of sleep in models apartment, coffee and backstage food.'(sic)

A post shared by Luma Grothe (@thelumagrothe) on

Victorias Secret model Luma Grothe also offered her two cents, sharing that it took five full years in the industry before she had the opportunity to walk in fashion week.

Taking to her Instagram story, she praised Kendall for speaking out about her anxiety, and shared a post from Instagram account @shitmodelmgmt, which reads: 'Here's whatever the fuck we do: we start our career as nobody's. Coming from nothing, and in the city, no one knows our names. We have to work ourselves to death to try to even possibly make ourselves known.'

'We cant choose what shows we're in, we literally pray to whatever is out there to give us ONE show, and if we get 30 shows, best believe we're doing all of them. It would be amazing to be able to pick and choose what shows to do, but we have to do it the hard way.'

A post shared by Kendall (@kendalljenner) on

Adding her own story, Luma wrote: 'When I started in this industry, I was pretty much starving for the first 3 years.'

'Working every single day for free. Waiting for the day someone would notice me and my hard work and give me the chance to do one show.'

'I couldn't even go home for Christmas because I was absolutely broke. I had to work so hard for people to even remember my name. If you are "one of those girls" who does 30 shows a season and works so freaking hard to make your mark in this industry, just know, I love you to death and you are a bad ass.'

It looks like Kendall might be on the receiving end of some nasty looks next Fashion Week…

Sophia Sanchez is currently in hospital awaiting a heart transplant, and has two very special wishes: to meet Drake and get a new heart.

The 11-year-old is such a huge fan of the In My Feelings singer that she did the Kiki Challenge while hooked up to her IVF.

A video of her dancing was posted to social media.

After seeing her dance, Drake decided that he would take a trip to Lurie's Children Hospital of Chicago, where the pair hung out and bonded over basketball, owls and Justin Bieber!

The young girl, who, according to the MailOnline, has cardiomyopathy and underwent open heart surgery just three weeks ago, was in absolute shock when the 31-year-old walked up to her.

"Oh my god," she screams, before giving him a hug.

"You asked me to come; I'm here" he says to her, like it's a normal thing for a superstar to pop in and say hey.

The two chatted about Riverdale, which the rapper has seen "once or twice", took selfies, and exchanged autographs!

The rapper sang her God's Plan and gifted her with merchandise.

But the sweetness doesn't stop there!

The rapper wasn't just going past the hospital and decided to pop in – he cancelled a concert just so he could meet her.

Twitter is freaking out over Madonna’s recent tribute to the late Aretha Franklin, calling her speech ‘a very moving tribute to herself’.

And it seems most people are in agreement with that perspective.

At MTV’s Video Music Awards on Monday, Madonna entered the stage dressed in a floor-length, black dress, appropriate for her mourning of the legendary ‘Queen of Soul’.

“Aretha Louise Franklin changed the course of my life.” The pop singer began her speech to honour Aretha.

Madonna told her story of how singing Aretha’s "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" at an audition changed her life, causing her discovery, and setting her on a course to fame.

The Pop Queen continued her rags to riches tale, saying that “none of this would have happened, could have happened without our lady of soul”.

She led me to where I am today and I know she influenced so many people in this room tonight,” she said. “I want to thank you Aretha for empowering all of us.”

However, contrary to her intended effect, the American singer’s anecdote immediately encountered opposition online from viewers everywhere.

Comedian Roy Wood Jr joked on Twitter: “'If it wasn't for Aretha, we wouldn't have Madonna'- Madonna.”

Author Michael Arceneaux tweeted: “‘You’re probably all wondering why I am telling this story.’ Yes, Madonna”.

The singer also came under attack for her outfit choice: chunky, silver jewellery with pops of red, and a matching headband adorned with spikes.

Commenters said that her ‘African jewellery’ was an attempt to claim black culture.

One user ranted that “this was not an #Aretha tribute but a monologue on how another iconic Black woman is being reduced to how she helped a white woman.”

Others  have come to Madonna’s defence, calling her speech ‘moving’ and on point by  ‘thanking [Aretha] for empowering all female artists.’

While Madonna has yet to respond to her recent tribute haters, we expect she will feel forced to clarify her intentions soon.

Meanwhile, other influencers have spoken out in tribute to the legendary soul singer, including Adele, Ariana Grande, and Paul McCartney.

Former American president, Barack Obama said that ‘Aretha helped define the American experience. In her voice, we could feel our history, all of it and in every shade—our power and our pain, our darkness and our light, our quest for redemption and our hard-won respect.”

It is clear that Aretha has made an impact on musical history, not just in the genre of soul but for women everywhere, demonstrating how a legendary voice and raw, feminine power can change the world.

Britney Spears rocked the 3 Arena last night with a medley of her greatest hits during the Dublin date on her Piece of Me tour.

Between tears of nostalgia as the crowd bopped to anthems like Stronger and Toxic, Britney herself requested a more personal contribution from the crowd.

The Princess of Pop asked that a member of the audience came up and danced with her – however the moves may not have been quite what the volunteer expected.

A guy was selected from the crowd, before being strapped to a St Andrews cross (common in the BDSM community, if you're down with that sort of thing, as the tune Freakshow blared out from the speakers.

Once his time on the cross was complete, he was placed on his hands and knees on stage, where a harness and leash was attached around his torso. Britney Spears herself then walked the young lad across the stage on his hands and knees.

An experience more relevant than this week's Papal visit tbh, the crowd understandably went wild.

After grinding on the guy, Britney declared to the audience that he 'smelt amazing' and that she wanted to keep him up there with her.

The young man, named Kurt or Kirk (indecipherable over the screaming of fans)  took a graceful bow before descending from the stage, now an icon in the eyes of the people.

Good man Kurt (Kirk).
