We all know that staying hydrated is good for your health as well as your beauty regimen, but sometimes getting those two litres a day can be a struggle.

There have been plenty of out there beauty procedures doing the rounds lately, from lip fillers to robotic facials, but the latest might just be the most hardcore.

When we think of IV drips we think hospital patients and backless gowns, not a glowing complexion, but hydrating beauty drips claim to be the most beneficial beauty buzz around.

Intravenous vitamin therapy is the latest celebrity health fad, and claims to give a gleaming glow and increase energy levels.

It's as similar to the medical practice as can be, except instead of being hooked up to a regular fluid drip, beauty IVs are infused with vitamins and minerals.

Stars like Rihanna, Madonna and Simon Cowell have opted for the treatment, and the drips claim to do everything from curing hangovers to improving cardiovascular health.

"The body can only digest 55 percent of vitamins and fluids taken orally but is able to absorb 100 percent of fluids and nutrients that are delivered intravenously and is therefore able to utilise them quickly and efficiently," according to Venus Medical who are offering the treatment in Ireland for the first time.

Using REVIV IV drips, the treatment comes in a variety of types, so curing whatever ails you can be tailored.

Whether it's recovering from jetlag or turning back the clock on ageing, hooking yourself up to an IV drip could be the cure.

Well, if it's good enough for Rihanna…

Nutella is amazing on many things. Toast, crepes, cakes, a spoon, and now, our hair.

One salon, based in the Lebanon, has gained international attention for using Nutella as a hair treatment in it's cut and colours.

The salon, called Abed & Samer, has posted viral videos of the yummy hazelnut treat being incorporated into their professional hair styling.

With it's high fat and protein content, hypothetically the sweet, chocolatey goodness could be good for your hair, but there is no scientific evidence to back this up.

The salon also employs the use of whipped cream, caramel, chocolate sauce and condensed milk to tone, dye and treat the hair.

While the treatment sounds a little sticky, we'd opt for Nutella-scented tresses in a heart beat.

Until the method makes it's way to Irish shores, we'll be treating ourselves to some Nutella on toast.

A new campaign is inspiring women to ditch their #BellyJelly insecurities rather than their belly jelly, and embrace their bodies regardless of size or shape.

The campaign, created by the Movemeant Foundation, aims to normalise having a tummy.

It wants to leave behind the narrow, one-sided definition of beauty that we see on the Instagram pages of fitness gurus and celebrities, and remind women that they are beautiful no matter what.

In a viral campaign video, the foundation highlights how everyone – from gym junkies to yoga nuts and body builders – has a little bit of #BellyJelly.

"We’re in the midst of an epidemic. Our young women are bombarded with images and messages that glorify perfection as thin and beautiful," explains the foundation's website.

"In some instances, they also have inadequate education on the merits of healthy, active, nutritious living. As a result, our young women are falling short – failing to realise how extraordinary they are."

The inspirational video has garnered over 50,000 views from women the world over, who are spurred to accept their body as it is through the power of exercise.

"There has never been a better time to shift the dialogue that women are having around their bodies," says Jenny Gaither, founder of the Movemeant.

"Embracing our 'belly jelly’ and celebrating that women are physically strong despite a little jiggle, is a powerful statement, and one we hope will inspire women and girls across the country."

Hell to the yes.

Birthdays are undoubtedly special occasions, but have you ever wondered if your date of birth is a rarity or common as muck?

Now there's a simple way to find out, thanks to the Central Statistics Office website.

Image result for celebrity birthday

The CSO has created an online tool that tells you where your birthday ranks in popularity compared to the rest of the country.

Overall October 1 emerges as the most common birthday for Irish people.

The notorious February 29 is the most rare, for obvious reasons, with Christmas Day and St Stephen's Day being the second and third rarest.

However, November is the most uncommon month to have a birthday.

Nine of the top 10 dates of birth were towards the end of September, making this the most common time for birthdays.

Is it a coincidence that September is nine months on from the festive New Years season? We think not.

Anyone who has ever suffered through intense menstrual pain can tell you that it’s not anything to be taken lightly — and yet, we hear continuous stories of women being told that their cramps are not actually that bad or, worse, in their heads. Some can fear that dismissal, of being told, that its an overreaction.

And yet again period cramps, or Dysmenorrhea as it's technically called, has been ruled as painful as having a heart attack. Professor of reproductive health at University College London, John Guillebaud, has said that patients have described the cramping pain as "almost as bad as having a heart attack."

Guillebaud went on to say the issue has been overlooked because “Men don’t get it and it hasn’t been given the centrality it should have. I do believe it’s something that should be taken care of, like anything else in medicine.”

This, of course, is no news to us, but it is another indication of how little women's health is taken seriously. We know how bad it can be – yet it's only with reports like this, for example, that, it becomes a topic of mainstream conversation.  In fact, this was bumped into the press again after Marie Claire made the report known – a similar report surfaced in 2016.

What is brilliant though, is the hilarious reaction on Twitter, from women, collectively rolling their eyes – and though it isn't new news (or news at all, to us), it's good to have women's health issues again out in the open.

Here are only a few highlights from social media:

According to statistics, one in five suffers from Dysmenorrhea, the clinical term for painful periods, which has no definitive medical origin. One in ten also suffers from Endometriosis, a condition without known cause that causes severe period pain and occurs in women where the lining of the womb decides to venture into the pelvic area, ovaries and other places in the body.

The snap of the proud mum and her baby girl has melted our hearts on this snowy day!

She wrote, "My angel baby is 1 month old today," alongside two photos where the new mum is cradling her adorable girl.

Kylie gave birth to her baby girl Stormi on February 1, 2018.

The mum chose to keep her pregnancy private, but we do hope she shares more heart-warming photos with Stormi. They're the sweetest mother-daughter duo ever.

We’ve all heard the joke about not eating yellow snow, and we’d also advise to keep well away from anything grey or pink too.

But, when Wren Kitchens spoke with Dr Faye Christopherson – Medical officer at Push Doctor, this morning who explained “Snow is mainly water, which is great and fine to eat”.

Well, that changed things!

"Snow is mainly water, which is great and fine to eat, but as it passes through the atmosphere it acts like a sponge absorbing environmental contaminants, such as aerosol particles and sulphates, nitrates and mercury.

"Of course, you should exercise caution when it comes to eating snow that's already hit the ground. Brown snow is likely to have been contaminated by dirt, pink snow contains an algae that may cause digestive issues, while we all know why it's best to avoid yellow snow!"

Yesterday, the Duchess of Cambridge and Meghan Markle appeared at the first Royal Foundation Forum, which was also their first royal engagement together. They both wore stunning complementary blue dresses and were accompanied by their significant others.

Considering this was only Meghan and Kate's second time being pictured together (the first being on Christmas Day), the event sparked speculation among people about whether or not the two get on well.

Cosmopolitan UK brought in body language expert and author Judi James for her analysis of their relationship.

"There seemed to be a 'team member' respect for one another but they also seemed to steer clear of any more overt displays of sisterly friendship," Judi revealed.

However, she noted that the smiling expressions of both couples indicated that a 'strong family vibe' has developed between the pairs.

The body language expert noted that the Suits actress seemed mostly focused on Prince Harry, but 'sat listening intently' whenever Kate spoke.

As a member and a member-to-be of the Royal Family, the two both engage in royal duties, include charity work through the Royal Foundation.

Judi says that the two women have different approaches to these duties, which can be detected in their body language.

"Meghan's approach is hugely 'hit-the-ground-running' with her upright posture and her trait of sitting with one elbow in partial splay mode suggesting high levels of confidence and a desire to get her message across," the expert said.

"Kate's calmer, simpler approach, sitting back in her chair with a rather demure hand clasp gave a glimpse of what being a royal must have taught her, which is that people listen anyway with no need to ramp up the passion and drama."

Their central bond is formed around 'their cause plus Harry's humour', Judi observed.

"When Harry joked we saw both women share genuine matching smiles and mirror the partial cut-off gesture when their hands mimicked face-covering," she told Comso.

"The cause was clearly also important to both although there was some interesting body language thrown up when suggestions of 'disagreements' were thrown up."

"Both women initially hid their faces behind their hair and then Meghan laughed and grabbed Harry's arm in a rather telling gesture. William's 'Oh yes' told us sparks had clearly occurred, but Kate's demure smile wasn't giving any clues about who had been battling with who," Judi revealed.

Colour us intrigued!

Also, can we have her analyse body language in our daily lives, please? We need more insight like this!

Not to make anyone upset, but we all know that our pets just don't live as long as we do (unfortunately).

However, if you wanted to immortalise your furry friend forever, why not consider cloning them?

No, not in a creepy scientific way, we mean getting a teddy bear replica made… obviously!

Cuddle Clones creates a fluffy toy from a picture of your pet, and you can use as many pictures as you like to ensure it's a very accurate match.

They're so impressive lads.

Remarkably, you can also choose the tail that you want (excited, relaxed or laying down), pick how your want their ears to appear, select their mouth, as well as the toy/pet's position (standing or sitting).

Now, based on the amount of hard work and detail that goes into these toys, you won't be surprised to hear that they're fairly pricey.

Prices start at £129.50 for small pets like bunnies, or £144.04 for dogs, cats and horses (FYI, horse teddies are NOT life size).

They creations take between four to eight weeks to be made, but that's down to all the sweet detail.

Oh, and if teddy bears aren't your scene, fear not, as the company makes everything from slippers to ornaments, so no excuse.

We love these tbh!
