When it comes to wedding prep chat, the bride's dress is obviously up there in the 'most talked about' section of any Whatsapp group discussion.

And while choosing the gown is, undoubtedly, a mammoth task for any bride-to-be, choosing the shoes, which will see you transition from single gal to married woman, is not exactly easy.

We need comfort, we need style, and we need something so Insta-worthy, it'd bring tears to your eyes.

With that in mind, we decided to trawl Instagram for inspiration should we ever find ourselves hightailing it up the aisle, and let's just say those Instagrammers did not disappoint.

Case in point:

1. Stop, you're killing us.

2. Be still our beating hearts

And now for the important part…

#Strike4Repeal is taking place today, to mark International Women's Day.

Massive crowds have gathered on O'Connell Street to rally against our government's abortion laws.

Many women, men and children are marching in solidarity against the Eighth Amendment, and the views of the turnout on social media is giving us goosebumps.

Here's a round up of the sights, the signs and the people around Dublin today:

Finance for 20-something women usually means not checking your bank account because you're too afraid to see the figure staring back at you.

We all know it's bad and that we should really keep on top of our money – but it's hard.

Your 20s are supposed to be a time of freedom, and sometimes that freedom means buying the latest Topshop vinyl trousers and having brunch every Sunday morning.

But, there are times when we need to save and budget our money. So, whether it's saving for a holiday, renting your first home, or working out what the hell an overdraft is, we're going to be here to help you along the way.

Gold 20 Round Coins

We're kicking off our new finance series with basics steps on how to save and budget your money each month:

1. You need to actually have a budget

This may all seem pretty simplistic, but it's where most 20-somethings go wrong. Know how much you make (whether it's weekly or monthly), figure out what you spend your money on and then find out how much is left over.

Stick to your budget each and every month without fail.

When you're aware of your spending habits, you'll be more able to control your money so you won't be wondering where that €300 went at the end of the month.

There are loads of online tools to help you, too. Check this out if you're planning your first budget.

2. Understand that saving money early is important

You need to save for your future. Whether you want to travel, buy a house, move country, or build a business – you need to save for it.

Most people in their 20s think that the future is so far away, but that means you have the advantage of time.

After you budget, learn how to enjoy life at a lower cost and appreciate that you'll be prepared for anything you want to take on in the future.

3. Prioritise

This is probably the hardest thing to do in terms of budgeting and saving money.

Because we ALL know that after a busy week at work all you want to do is reward yourself with a Penneys' shopping spree.

But have you paid your bills yet? Have you put some moola into your savings account? Did you do a food shop and will you have enough petrol to last until next week? These things ALL need to come before treating yo'self.

And as you hold off on buying things, you'll actually realise that you didn't need them to begin with.

4. Don't let payday pass by

Yep, your money just went into your account and now we're telling you to take it all back out again. We didn't say it would be easy.

But, if your rent is due in the middle/end of the month, it's easier to set up a standing order or direct debit to transfer money on the day you get paid. That way, you won't be tempted to dip into it during the month.

"The easiest way to save is to get used to not having it in the first place," says Petrina Grady, a savings and investment specialist.

5. Stop wasting everything

Even if you might think you're good with the whole waste and recycling thing – save everything and waste nothing.

Get the most out of what you buy each month, whether it's lunch you can eat the next day or using less toothpaste, every little counts.

And if you have a pile of old clothes or homeware bits and pieces lying around the house, sell them on Ebay or Depop. Not everything has to be binned.

These five tips are the basics of saving and budgeting. In this series we will delve deeper into finance for 20-somethings, but for now, sticking to these steps is a good way to start off.

One quick blitz of Instagram will tell you that when it comes to food, the dinners of our youth just don’t cut it anymore.

While we more than happy to hoof into a meat and two veg dish courtesy of our hardworking mothers back in the day, we tend to get a little more creative in our own kitchens.

And then we share it on social media, natch.

But if you want to do more than just hashtag your culinary creations, why not bring your meals to a wider audience by applying to star in RTÉ’s Tastes Like Home show?

As the deadline for final entries looms, Catherine Fulvio, together with sponsor Londis, has issued a final call for applicants who wish to star on the second season of the show later this year.

Whether you’re only starting out or have years of cooking experience under your belt, the only thing needed to apply is a passion for homemade cooking!

Applications close on Sunday March 19, so if you want in on the action, simply submit an application form along with three family favourite recipes for consideration.

See ya on the box, ladies!

No matter how certain you are that the right decision has been made, the aftermath of a break-up is far from plain sailing.

Whether you instigated the split or not, it's not always easy to deal with the feelings of loss, confusion and frustration that follow the demise of a relationship.

So, you lean on your friends and family for support… and then promptly ignore every bit of advice they dole out, right?

Hitting the nail on the head with this one, Jen Hatton and Emma Doran illustrate the various stages a person goes through when reflecting on a broken relationship over a bottle (or two) of vino.

We'll be honest here, this cut a little close to the bone…

Instagram is chock-a-block with pictures of chiselled abs and pert posteriors, and the fitspiration side of social media has a reputation for posting the most perfectly posed pictures to showcase their bodies in the best light.

The saturation of perfect, toned bodies can leave aspiring athletes feeling a little disheartened, as they measure themselves up against the progress of others on the online platform.

One fitness fan, Sara Puhto, has committed herself to toning her body, and has taken it upon herself to blow the lid off the facade of the perfect Instagram fitness photo.

Sara has posted a series of images proving that some progress photos don't really show real growth at all, and are just staged, posed and lit to give the illusion of posterior progress.

In a world that's obsessed with the classic Kardashian combo of a flat stomach and big booty, Sara encourages the maintenance of realistic expectations.

"Bodies fluctuate daily, even hourly. Don't beat yourself up if you have a bad day, week or month," the fitness fan captioned one of her posts.

"Everyone has bad days. Everyone has some % of body fat. And everyone's body looks different from different angles/poses whether they're flexed, relaxed or bloated."

"People will post their highlights and their hard work on Instagram so don't compare yourself to them! You're beautiful no matter what."

Sharing her revelatory snaps with her 76,000 followers, the body positivity activist is using her platform to show people that all is not as it seems in the feed of progress photos.

She aims to inspire her followers to embrace their own bodies, and tells her fans not to get hung up over the bodies of others.

That's the kind of positive fitness message we can get behind.

The day we never thought would come is finally here. Starburst is releasing an ALL pink pack.

The sweets will be available for a short time only, but we're excited to finally not have to throw away a half-eaten pack (yellow Starburst sweets are not our fave).

So far, the pink pack is only hitting US stores, and Wrigleys has not yet comment on whether it'll be coming to Ireland.

"From memes about relationships to sharing photos of excitement when getting a pink Starburst, over half of all references to Starburst on social media are about pink Starburst," said the sweet's spokesperson Michelle Green.

If you have mates living across the pond, drop them a line, but fingers crossed Ireland gets to experience the all pink pack soon too.

Between Summer of 69 and Everything I Do (I Do It For You), Bryan Adams has released some absolute belters in his day, and there's scarcely a house in Ireland that doesn't have at least one of the Canadian's CDs nested among others.

So, we are pretty pumped to learn that the Heaven singer will be taking to the stage to play Live At The Marquee in Cork later this summer!

Following his last sell-out show at the Marquee in 2014, the multi-platinum selling recording artist has confirmed he will bring his GET UP TOUR back to the People's Republic on 11 July 2017.

With over 65 million records sales under his belt and number 1s in 40 countries, the singer's decision to return to Cork has unsurprisingly thrilled his Irish fans.

If you want in on the action, be sure to bring your A-game next Monday at 9am when tickets for the gig go on sale.

See y'all there, ladies.

We're loving all of the Beauty and the Beast merch that's being released in the lead up to the release of the new live action flick.

From beauty serums to Juicy Couture collabs, we could be decked out in Disney in two seconds flat.

The latest addition to the Beauty and the Beast bonanza are these divine nail wraps that we're more than a little bit obsessed with.

Pic: Jamberry

The wraps take their inspiration from the original film, depicting the Disney cartoons china pattern and rose theme.

The wraps are by a company called Jamberry, and our favourite set has to be the white manicure which pays homage to one of the cartoons cutest characters, Chip.

The stained glass theme of the Disney movie also features, on a set of wraps complete with a classic Beauty and the Beast rose motif.

Another set of wraps in the collection showcases the heroine Belle, depicting the classic scene in which she wonders how she can get out of her small-minded little town.

We cant wait to get our hands on these wraps in time for the movies release on March 17, to create a manicure that's definitely Disney princess worthy.

When you think of the perfect night in, it mainly consists of booze and your favourite TV shows.

Well, this Galway hotel is zoning in on that with the layout of its new rooms.

Residence Hotel is a new boutique hotel situated in the centre of Galway and is set to open this month.

Inside all of the hotel's rooms is Belair Champagne on demand, access to Netflix and a Nespresso machine to wake yourself up in the morning after a night of binge-watching The OA.

Netflix and chill in a swanky hotel? We're down with that.

It's International Womens Day, and if ever there was a day to sit back and relax with a cocktail, this is it. Treat yo'self.

Luckily, one bar in Dublin city has decided to pay homage to the ladies who frequent its establishment with a delectable free drink.

Adelphi, on Middle Abbey Street, is offering all women a free cocktail to celebrate the day that's in it.

"To celebrate International Women's Day this Wednesday we will be giving all the ladies a complementary Toblerone cocktail 'because your worth it,'" reads a post on the bars Facebook page. (sic)

The Toblerone cocktail looks dreamy, complete with chocolate sauce and honey.

After a long day of working or marching for reproductive rights, a cocktail would be the perfect tonic.

Hold the phone – Ed Sheeran is creating his very own boyband, and it's like something we never knew we wanted.

Because, let's be honest, most boybands have had their time; but an Ed Sheeran boyband? Now that's what we're talking about.

The singer is in the middle of auditioning aspiring performers to make a "superpop" group.

The handsome red head graced the cover of Rolling Stone this month, and the feature inside claims Ed is “in the process of auditioning members of a boy band” and has “already written lots of songs for the group."

The songs are “really, really decent. Superpop, but obviously credible."

A post shared by Ed Sheeran (@teddysphotos) on

He added that he will also want to take the successful lads on tour with him: “I’m gonna put three or four boys together and do all the songs, take them on the stadium tour with me.”

We can't wait for this!
