Blonde bombshell Pamela Anderson had been dedicating her life to animal welfare, and promotes a vegan, cruelty-free lifestyle. 

The Baywatch star has written an open letter to our Taoiseach, asking him to consider supporting a nationwide ban on wild animal circuses.

As an added incentive, she stated that she'd she'd share a pint of Guinness with him if he took action amd implemented the ban. 

"I was excited to learn from my friends at PETA that a bill has been put forward to ban wild animal circuses in Ireland. As a longtime animal advocate, I give the bill my full support—and I hope it has yours, too," reads the letter, addressed to the Taoiseach. 

"Animals in circuses never benefit from "the luck of the Irish." Instead, they're denied everything that is natural and important to them."

"They spend their lonely lives constantly on the move, transported in cramped conditions, and shackled or caged for hours on end. And they don't perform tricks such as jumping through rings of fire or dancing on their hind legs for fun—but out of fear of punishment."

"Today, most decent people see animal circuses for what they are: cruelty. Consequently—as I was pleased to hear—towns and cities across Ireland are overwhelmingly passing motions to ban them from public land."

"I truly hope Ireland seizes this opportunity to implement a national ban and joins the ever-growing list of countries that have banished this archaic form of so-called 'entertainment.'"

"I would love nothing more than to visit your beautiful country and raise a glass of Guinness (I hear it's vegan now!) with you when that day arrives. Sincerely yours, Pamela Anderson."

The ISPCA has also previously backed the ban.

"The ISPCA is completely opposed to the use of wild animals in circuses as by their very nature, circuses cannot provide sufficient space and appropriate conditions to guarantee the physical and psychological well-being of their animals, especially social species like elephants," reads a statement on their site. 

We're pretty sure most people would hop to it if it meant having a drink with Pammy, but we think Enda should do it for the sake of the animals.

Life has got to be pretty good for Cristiano Ronaldo. 

He's worth too many millions to count, has an esteemed sporting career, and he just got an airport named after him. Isn't is well for some?

However, it seems that not everything is blessed in Ronaldo's life, if the awkward photos of him standing beside an honorary piece of art are anything to go by. 

The footballer was commemorated with a bronze bust of himself in his namesake airport, but the bust left a lot to be desired in the realism department.

The bust really doesn't resemble the dashingly handsome Portuguese player, and Twitter has been completely taking the p*** out of it. 

The bust has been likened to everything from Sloth from The Goonies to an actual sloth.

Some have also claimed that it more fittingly resembles former Irish footballer Niall Quinn or the stone bust puppet from childhood TV show Art Attack.

The internet is in a complete photoshop frenzy, as people attempt to manipulate Ronaldo's face to match the bust. 

Ronaldo has yet to comment on the online reaction to the bust, and the hashtag #RonaldoBust is still going strong.

We can't get enough of Carpool Karaoke these days, as James Corden's star studded videos keep getting better and better.

From the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Lady Gaga and Michelle Obama, everyone who's anyone has ridden shotgun with the British comedian.  

Now, a rather unexpected guest is joining James for a new episode.

None other than Victoria Beckham will be in the passenger seat for the upcoming series of Carpool Karaoke. 

While VB initially rose to fame thanks to her iconic place as Posh Spice in the Spice Girls, the mum-of-four has been focusing on her fashion pursuits for over a decade.

With her lack of musical accomplishments over the past few years, we definitely didn't expect to see her singing karaoke.

However, Posh is a massive star, so we're pretty excited to see her loosen up and sing a few songs with James.

We can't wait to hear her renditions of our favourite Spice Girls songs!

The search for a missing helicopter with five people on board was called off last night due to poor visibility.

The private craft went missing over the Irish Sea 

The search and rescue operation is focused on the area between Caernarfon Bay, north Wales, and Dublin

The craft went missing yesterday, but no mayday or distress call was received

The UK Coast Guard has called off the search, as "due to low lying cloud, visibility has been extremely poor and has hampered the search efforts."

If you are a fan of The Mindy Project, then we've some sad news – it's coming to an end.

Mindy Kaling, who created and stars in the series, has confirmed that the show has been renewed for one final season.

She told Entertainment Weekly: "We’re really excited about this last season. I think the timing is exactly right.

"What’s weird is, Mindy is married at the end of the season 5 finale, but she has never been married in the series, so that’s incredibly fun for a character who’s been obsessed with [marriage] and has come close many times, and seeing her disavow it for a while after her disastrous breakup with who she thought was her soulmate.

"And now she’s married! The final season is the final time—it’s the best time—to confront what that reality is for her. And really, we’ve put her through the ringer."

The Mindy Project was first cancelled on Fox in 2015, but was quickly picked up by Hulu.

The final season will air on Hulu in September.

If you were totally hooked to the Santa Clarita Diet, then you'll be happy to know that it's be renewed for a second season.

We're guilty of binge watching the series, which starred Drew Barrymore, and it has been confirmed that shooting for the second round will commence this summer.

The show focuses on Shelia (Drew Barrymore), a realtor, who turns into a zombie (of sorts).

Her dramatic change sees her family go through a major adjustment to a life of death and destruction… but in a good way.

We spent many hours as kids creating (and tearing down) our dream Lego houses.

And even now, if we see our 5-year-old cousin's Lego box, there's something in us that wants to spill them all out on the floor and play with them (just us?).

However, you'd never think of getting a job as a Lego builder… until now.

Yep, the highly sought-after job as a Lego model designer is actually available and it's based in actual Lego Land.

Dreams do come true, huh?

As advertised on LinkedIn, the role involves designing and building world-class models. Animated models are even in the mix too (and our minds are blown).

Is this a little sign that travelling around the city may be getting a little bit easier?!

It has been announced that a brand spankin' new DART station is going to be opened near the Kiliney area in South Dublin.

The new stop will be called Woodbrook Shanganagh, which is being built to coincide with the government's plan to build new houses in Dublin City.

However, don't get too excited just yet, because it'll be about four years until the new station will be complete.

Still though, this will be a great addition to people living and commuting in the area!

We always love Brain O'Driscoll and Amy Huberman's banter on social media, but Brian's birthday post to his wife is a particularly funny one.

Amy celebrated her 38th birthday yesterday and her hubby took to Instagram to wish her a great day.

Taking the mick out of her fashion icon status, Brain shared a photo of Amy in a black raincoat and blue plastic poncho.

Imagine going about your daily journey to work and then John Legend pops up at the train station!

Well, that's what happened to London commuters this morning.

The dad-of-one cheekily tweeted that he was arriving at London's St Pancras Station, and asked, "Do they still have that piano there?"

After landing at the station, he then proceeded to perform a 10-minute set of some of his greatest tracks, which included All of Me and Ordinary People.

1. You have to be SUPER selective about where you shop

People will think you're being fussy, but some stores just don't cater for small people.

2. River Island jeans were your saviour

They were really the first affordable brand that began doing small sizes on the highstreet.

And my God, did you buy a pair in every colour.

 

3. Forget shopping abroad

Is it just me or do foreign countries just not cater for small people?

Whether you shop in Spain or New York, even the small sizes seem HUGE.

4. You hate to admit it, but you do shop in the kids section sometimes

Whether it's for shoes or a cosy jumper, sometimes kids sizes just fit you more snuggly.

Between clothes drowning you and being able to fit into your younger sister's clothes, you will no doubt feel like a child every now and again.

Do any of us have a clue what we're doing?!

Scarlett Moffatt has admitted that she certainly doesn't, and it's safe to say we're all breathing a sigh of relief.

The former Gogglebox star's career is going from strength to strength after winning I'm A Celeb… and scoring a regular spot on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Take Away.

But even still, Scarlett told Reveal Magazine that she, like many of us, is struggling with her living situation.

“I haven’t bought a place yet. I’m still renting, I’m just trying to work out what I want to do with my life."

The 26-year-old also admitted that she's getting by with the help of her friends, and Ant and Dec.

“The advice they kept giving us is to just be me. That gives me so much confidence in who I am.

“They’ve also been helping with autocue and talk back. I just feel very privileged," she added.
