Saoirse Ronan might be Hollywood's darling right now after her stellar performance in Brooklyn, but her name is clearly still causing everyone a few issues.

While primary school classes in Ireland are littered with Muireanns, Aoifes, Siobháns and Saoirses, the same is most definitely not true on the other side of the Atlantic, where fans are finding poor Ms. Ronan's name a bit tough to get their heads around.

But not to worry, as Ellen DeGeneres has stepped in to help out – just in time for awards season.

The best way to avoid people pronouncing your name wrong at an awards ceremony? Wear a massive sign over your red carpet gown, of course.

Saoirse appeared on Ellen's show in LA yesterday ahead of this Sunday's Golden Globes, and as a thank-you for coming on she was presented with a nifty sandwich board emblazoned with the words "Hello, My Name Is Sur-Sha."

Complete with pockets for Moet champagne and other red carpet snacks, obvz.

While on the show, it seems Saoirse also gave a shout-out to her hometown – and her favourite nail salon in Dublin's fair city, Tropical Popical.

The actress was getting her nails done at the South William St salon when she heard about her nomination, and staff there got a very exciting call yesterday from LA ahead of the Ellen interview's broadcast:

Ellen's not the first celebrity to take Saoirse and her hard-to-master name under their wing, however. Back in November Ryan Gosling included a lesson on how to pronounce the Irish moniker when presenting Saoirse with the New Hollywood Award for Brooklyn.

"Since we're all here, I thought we could just go over it," he said. "It's not 'Say-or-see' or 'Seer-say' or 'Sorcery'… It's 'Ser-sha', like inertia."

Nice. Now here's hoping there are no mistakes when Saoirse inevitably picks up the Best Actress gong on Sunday.

Ashley Benson has been one of our fave TV stars since she first graced our screens in Pretty Little Liars.

And staying close to her roots, Ashley's next film sees her starring as the girl next door who is creepily stalked online and through her phone… Remind you of anything?

It also stars Orange Is The New Black's Matt McGorry as Emma's love interest.

The film is out on DVD and digital release in March, but for now, here's the trailer. Watch it and then throw away your phone, laptop, tablet… and any other piece of technology you might have.

When we heard that Justin Timberlake was finally making a comeback, we jumped for joy… But his comeback isn't what you might have expected.

The Cry Me A River hitmaker will be bouncing back onto our cinema screens in an animated musical called Trolls

But JT won't just be voicing one of the main characters; he will also write and perform original songs for the highly anticipated movie, E! News has confirmed.

"I have always envisioned bringing the two worlds of film and music together for one epic event [and] couldn't be more excited that they will collide in DreamWorks' Trolls," Justin said in a press release.

"This film is very special, the music is going to be very special and I can't wait for everyone to experience it all."

The film tells a story of two trolls and their quest to go far beyond the world they've always known. It will be the first film since he welcomed his son, Silas, into the world with Jessica Biel last April.

The movie isn't out until the end of this year, so you never know, baby Silas may be on the red carpet with the dad – which would make it the cutest red carpet of all time.

As much as we complain about not being able to get our point across in 140 characters, 10,000 characters is a tad bit excessive.

But in a report from Re/Code yesterday, Twitter Inc is in talks about expanding the original limit.

The social networking site may launch the service early this year and sources say that it may change its character count even before the official product is unveiled.

Jack Dorsey, Twitter's co-founder, said that the company has seen more and more people sharing screenshots of texts as a way to get around the limited character count.

"We're not going to be shy about building more utility and power into Twitter for people. As long as it's consistent with what people want to do, we're going to explore it."

But some users aren't exactly happy about the expanded limit, and even made a hashtag, #beyond140. "Just say no to #beyond140," users commented.

Our fave funny woman, Amy Schumer was in Washington DC yesterday to support Barack Obama's fight against gun violence.

And what many people noticed about her photos of support, was that she had a handsome new guy in tow.

The comedian called the good-looking fellow her "man", and we have to say congrats Amy, he's hot.

Her new beau is called Ben Hanisch. He's a furniture designer based in Chicago, and it seems that he's pretty crazy about her.

On New Year's Eve, he shared a photo on Instagram of Amy and captioned the snap, "Sometimes in life you get extremely lucky, and the smartest, funniest, most beautiful woman comes along when you least expect it. Here's to what adventures 2016 brings!"

Awwww.

And Ms Schumer, being the funny gal that she is, made a pregnancy joke on not one, but two photos.

We're hoping this is the beginning of a very long romance, and you never know with Amy, she might really be pregnant.

The beloved TV show, Girls, is in the midst of ending, ladies. *Sobs*.

E! News has reported that sources close to the show say that the ending is nigh and will possibly be wrapping up after season six.

It doesn't come as much of a surprise though, as Lena Dunham has previously said that she wants to leave it on a high note.

"[We're] not in the business of running it into the ground," Lena told The Hollywood Reporter

"We would like to end in a graceful place. And we'd like to tell a complete story. What that means is that we really have to start building towards an end soon, creatively."

Season five isn't premiering until February, so you better get ready for some epic story lines in the next two seasons.

Back in October, reports surfaced that Gilmore Girls was making a comeback.

The rumour mill flooded when it was claimed Netflix made a deal with Warner Bros that would bring four NEW 90-minute episodes of the show back to our screens. *Squeals*.

But now photos on Twitter have surfaced by user, Clara, which shows a re-vamped Miss Patty's studio.

But the most exciting part? There's a date in one photo, January 11th 2016, which kinda hints that she show might be filming now or they have already filmed.

Now, of course it's always difficult to say how legitimate everything is, but if it's true, we are SO excited.

So… Were they together or weren't they together?!

During the end of last year there was a lot of speculation about Justin Bieber and Kourtney Kardashian.

The pair were seen out several times together which began to spark some romance rumours; but now the 21-year-old has spoken out.

On a radio show, The Bert Show, which will air today, the Biebs jokes about the situation and said, "I'm being used, man. What can I say?"

But then he wouldn't discuss the speculated love affair any further and just said, "Nah, we'll leave it at that."

However, he did add that he has nothing but love for the reality star. "No, no, but for real, she's great," Justin said.

And then JB went on to talk about his ex, Selena and her latest single.

"What is she trying to do to my heart right now? I'm just kidding. She loves me. I love her, too, always. Who's this guy? He's a joke! This guy's a chump."

You can only have one lady, Justin!

We may all remember Abz Love as the cool as a cucumber rapping member of our favourite nineties boyband, 5ive, but it seems that this popstar's life has changed dramatically since his days of touring the world.

After revealing how he went down a bad route following the demise of 5ive, his life changed for the better after he relocated to the country with partner, Vicky Fallon.

However after burning all his money on his party lifestyle, Abz has since struggled to make ends meet.

After unsuccessfully attempting to flog off his Brit award for some cash, the London star has decided to take another route.

In his first musical release in over a decade, Abz has released a song about… well… chickens.

With all the proceeds going towards his farming venture, this is one vid you need to see to believe.

Jennifer Lawrence has solidified herself as our ultimate girl crush after an incredibly sincere and hilarious interview for her cover of Glamour magazine this month.

The Oscar winning actress spoke about what it is like to have a body that does not conform to the ideals of Hollywood.

"I’ve got tits and an ass. And there are things that are made for skinny people—like a lot of embroidery, or it covers a lot—and those make me look fat."

"I have to show the lumps. If you have boobs, you have to show [them], like, “These are boobs. This isn’t cellulite.”

And how exactly would she describe her style?

"Slutty power lesbian. That is literally what I say to a stylist…. I don’t know if that’s offensive—"

While Jen does not have any man in her life at the moment, the 25-year-old admitted that she was just not that gone on dating.

"I don’t, like, date a lot. I don’t meet a lot of guys who I want to go on a date with. I’ll find a guy attractive maybe once a year. But I’m not a lonely person.

"Me not dating someone is not a lack of anything in any way. I feel completely fulfilled. Yes, when I spark with someone, it’s exciting, but I definitely don’t need that."

The Kentucky native also confirmed that she finished the first draft of a script she is working on with best pal, Amy Schumer.

"Amy’s always wanted to live on Martha’s Vineyard, and we saw this house, and we’re like, 'This is where we’re gonna Grey Gardens, and we’re gonna grow old and crazy together.' That's our life plan."

And while she LOVES her job, she does find it troubling and hectic from time to time.

"I do have an idea. I think that we should be allowed time off.  Yes. Three months. 'Oh, it’s my three months off. You can’t photograph me.' "

"But I hate the 'movie star blues.' We are so lucky, and I love my life. I wouldn’t take any of it back for anything. So I don’t like complaining about it."
