So the first teaser trailer for Blake Lively's upcoming film the Shallows sure does succeed in piquing our interest.

The movie stars Blake as a recently bereaved surfer who is left injured and stranded on a slab of rock just metres from the shore.

Doesn't sound too bad? Yeah, just add a hungry, great white shark to the mix.

Blake was spotted filming for the film on Lord Howe Island in Australia. She even brought hubby Ryan Reynolds and baby daughter James out for a little holiday while on location.

The thriller is due to hit cinemas in June.

Beyonce cast wheelchair-bound model Jillian Mercado as part of the latest campaign for her merchandise and we have to say she looks so fierce.

The 28-year-old, who suffers from muscular dystrophy, can be seen modelling hats, jumpers and other items on queen Bey's official website.

The blogger-turned-model burst onto the fashion last year when she was chosen to star in a Diesel campaign before being signed to IMG models.

"[My aim is to give] hope to people who are maybe saying, 'My life is over' because they are disabled. You can totally do it, nothing should be stopping you," she said to the Daily Mail.

"Working with IMG, my goal is to make it so that I am not the model in the wheelchair and I’m just the model.

"If I can do big shows like Alexander Wang or Chanel and not be seen as the token girl. That goes a long way toward challenging perceptions.

"There is still so much change that needs to happen, but I want to make way for whoever has that mind-set that I had when I was younger.

"I want the people who were hesitant in pursuing fashion because of the way that people might perceive them to know there is a place for them."

Jillian has landed internships with Allure and Veranda magazine as well as having attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC.

Madonna has grabbed headlines once again today as it was revealed that she exposed the boob of an underage fan during her live gig this week.

At a packed house in Brisbane, Josephine Georgiou, a 17-year-old aspiring model, was invited up onstage to perform with the iconic singer where Madge proceeded to pull down her top.

"She's the kind of girl you just want to slap… on the ass… and pull," said the 57-year-old to the crowd.

She then proceeded to tug at the top, exposing a breast before adding: "Oh sh*t, oh sorry, sexual harassment. You can do the same to me."

The incident has caused criticism across social media this week but Josephine has come out to say that she is okay with the whole thing.

"Only I get to decide if I'm humiliated or not – why would people assume I am humiliated by my own breast, nipple or body?" Georgiou reportedly said to the Courier-Mail in Australia.

"I didn't realise my boob was such a big deal, it was nothing to me."

The incident comes less than a week after Madonna missed a court hearing for her custody battle over son Rocco and having several meltdowns onstage.

Actor and comedian Eddie Izzard is planning to run 27 marathons in 27 days for Sports Relief.

While we try to contemplate that unfathomable amount, the British star has also been chatting about coming out as transgender over 31 years ago.

In a passionate speech, the 54-year-old spoke about coming to terms with his gender identity.

"I am a transgender guy who came out 31 years ago… I've got boy genetics and girl genetics," he said in a promotional video.

"We get obsessed by it in humanity. We've been obsessed for 5000 years of civilization and people are still being murdered – in Uganda they were trying to sentence people to death.

"No matter what sex or sexuality, how you self-identify, or who you fancy, matters not one whit – what do you do in life?

"What do you make? What do you add to the human existence? That's what matters."

So Ellie Goulding went on a night out in Newcastle and it seems that all the Geordie Shore lads were just dying to spend the evening with her.

But it was Scotty T who prevailed and turned to social media to boast about the encounter.

The On My Mind singer was out after her gig in the The Toon and seemed to be paryting it up with the Celebrity Big Brother winner.

The Geordie lothario posted a snap of himself, Ellie and his cousin to his Instagram (though it was deleted a while later) with the caption: "Me @elliegoulding and me cousin @jerxzj in Perdu Newcastle last night! Absolutely smashed!"

But it seems that Scotty was not the only Geordie lad who wanted in on some Ellie action.

Gary Beadle also tweeted his fans encouraging the star to get in touch: "'Is @elliegoulding in Newcastle tonight ???? I want to go….everyone tweet her tell her to get in touch… Thank you."

And lucky for Gaz, the star replied enthusiastically prompting Gary to get her to message him for the deets.

Who knows whether the pair actually did meet up but it seems more than likely.

Just weeks after her split from Dougie Poynter, it seems that Ellie is hot property.

Hon the gals.

Jimmy Kimmel has been all about Ireland and St. Patrick's Day on his popular US talkshow Jimmy Kimmel Live this week.

The infamous presenter has spent the past few days trying to figure out how to pull the perfect pint of Guiness.

Earlier in the week, he had the Guiness Brewery Ambassador, Eoghan Clavin, on to help teach him how to achieve that perfected Guiness look.

While Jimmy's own pint went very well, when he tried to have some American fans pull them in an Irish pub on Paddy's Day, it's safe to say that the results were not half as good.

The host tuned in to Rock and Reilly's Irish Bar in West Hollywood for a pint-pulling contest and the finished products were definitely a bit ropey.

You've probably heard or seen the amazing mash-up of Adele songs performed by talented Irish musicians Ronan Scolard and Glenn Murphy, but if you haven't it's well worth a listen.

The Irish natives performed the songs beautifully in a YouTube video and thus the video took off with millions of people from all over the world stopping to listen to the heart-felt rendition of some of Adele's biggest hits.

It got so big that Adele herself got wind of the video and invited duo up on stage at one of her Dublin concerts to perform for her.

And the gorgeously humble and fun pair have been on a whirlwind ever since most recently jet-setting to LA to appear on the Ellen DeGeneres show.

The lads got to chat to the infamous co-host, perform their medley for American audiences and also received some amazing Ellen gifts.

Fair play to these two because they totally deserve it.

While they didn't make an official announcement, celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and his wife Jools made a rather unexpected revelation while on the red carpet for upcoming film Eddie the Eagle.

Jools wore a black dress that skimmed a sizable baby bump confirming the news that the pair are in fact expecting their fifth child.

Fans were both excited and a bit surprised by the news, but it seems that Jamie and his wife of 16 years were equally blind-sided by their latest family development.

"This was not expected, I can't even believe I'm saying it," said Jamie about the news to the Mirror.

"I think my own family were like 'really?!' But we're all tuned in to kids, it's good, it's carnage!"

And it seems that the 40-year-old loves having a big family, though he did not expect it.

"I love kids, my family keep me honest. I have a weird job, a weird life, but my family keeps my quite real,"

"I thought we'd have a couple of kids, but that's about it.

"Basically I do what I'm told, but she's an amazing family maker, and I just go with it!"

The pair currently have four children; Poppy (13), Daisy (12), Petal (6) and Buddy (5).

It's not surprising that people around the world want to spend St. Patrick's Day in Dublin and will travel from the far corners to get here.

Because let's face it from the parades to the atmosphere, there really is no beating it.

There is a longstanding tradition of celebrities making the grand trip to the Emerald Isle on the big day and this year it was former boyband star and ex-husband of Jessica Simpson who caught the Paddy's day bug.

Basically, a 90s superstar was here and we were living for it.

However, the singer-turned-reality-star went to impressive lengths to not only conceal his identity but also get into the St. Patrick's spirit.

The 42-year-old was snapped strolling down Grafton Street with his wife, Vanessa, and some friends donning a full face of paint, a ginger beard and a leprechaun hat (we are also appreciating the green hints on his runners).

Because if you can't do it on Paddy's Day in Dublin then when can you.

The star was also spotted flying into Dublin airport on Tuesday where fans were excited to get pics with the star.

While they were out soaking up the atmosphere in the capital yesterday, on Wednesday they enjoyed a trip to the Guiness Storehouse as well as dinner and drinks at the Bank Bar on Dame Street.

We reckon he's probably feeling a bit worse for wear today, but sure who isn't?

While you can't deny that Americans win in the enthusiasm stakes when it comes to St Patrick's Day celebrations, there's one element of their Irish-American pride that we simply can't abide – the use of "St Patty's Day."

As every native Irish person knows, it's always "Paddy" and never "Patty," unless you're celebrating the birthday of your aunt Patricia or getting excited about making burgers.

After years of trying to communicate the message across the Atlantic, some Irish expats have taken it upon themselves to fight the good fight.

There's this lad, slyly correcting his colleague's mistakes in the news studio he works at:

This girl, spreading The Word of St Patrick:

This music fan, who wrote a pleading letter to her fave US band:

Even poor Donal Skehan has some work to do with his pals in LA:

Next year we suggest bulk-printing copies of Twisted Doodles' PSA and sending them all over the USA.

A wise use of taxpayers' money, surely?

Happy Paddy's Day, everyone.

Jennifer Garner's black Versace gown at this year's Academy Awards was totally breathtaking – in more ways than one.

Speaking to Jimmy Fallon this week, the newly divorced star admitted that the strapless corseted dress was pretty horrific to wear.

"It's so intense," she said of the process of getting fitted into a custom-made gown.

"This was Versace, and they made it just for me. What they do is they move your organs around," she joked, before explaining what really went down.

"There are basically two men who come in with screwguns, and they screwed me into a metal corset – this isn't true, but it was a metal corset and it did take two Italian people. The next thing you know, my ribs were compressed.

"There's metal inside and these people just kind of move your ribs and they move your liver out of the side and they pop you in. To keep you in place, you step into a bodysuit first, which is like the bottom of a leotard, but it's a thong."

But it was during the Oscars ceremony itself that poor Jen really began to suffer, with pains in her ribs and muscle spasms – and had to rope one of her best friends in to help.

"I said, 'I'm going to have to stand up. I can't breathe. I'm going to have to stand up.'

"And she said, 'If you stand up, they'll think you're Kanye West. They're going to think you're protesting. You can't stand up! You have to sit down.' We're laughing, and that makes it worse."

After eventually making it to the bathroom during an ad break, Jennifer described the stress of actually trying to get out of the gown to do her thing on the loo.

"The connection of the bodysuit, because it had a hook and eye situation, was in an intimate position. I was like, in my vageen, OK?!

"I couldn't reach it, you know what I'm saying? So, I said to my friend, 'I don't know what's going to happen, but I think you've got to get this.' I couldn't reach it.

"She's a good friend. She said, 'If this has to be done, it has to be done, but listen: I want you to give it a good college try.'"

"Eventually it worked out, and I'm going to get those ribs removed anyway."

What an ordeal – she's some trooper!
