And today is one of those sweet celebrations that reminded the mum just how quickly her babies are growing up.

She penned a heartwarming note to her son Buddy on his eighth birthday.

“Buds you are eight. We are so proud of you. Kind, gentle, sensitive and just flipping cute,” the mum gushed.

“Almost forgiven for getting us up five times last night, asking us if it was time to get up!!!! May you always be this excited.”

Jools could not help but boast about her boy and his sweet spirit, and her cheeky humour reminds us of the reality of parenthood.

She chooses to see it all in a positive light, however, and hopes for her son to remain this enthusiastic about life as he grows older.

Buddy has had the best time with his family this past summer, enjoying “tea walks through corn fields” and “precious times”.

Adele made it her mission last night to help the residents of the horrific Grenfell Tower fire, which has so far claimed the lives of 12 people, with many more still missing.

The Grammy Award winning star made an appearance at the 27-storey tower block last night.

The star was there with her husband Simon Konecki, comforting and hugging those who needed help.

'Adele was going around and hugging everyone she could to comfort them,' an Adele fan account wrote on Twitter.

Her appearance came less than 24 hours after a blaze destroyed the building.

Other celebrities such as Jamie Oliver and Jeremy Clarkson have paid online tributes to victims of the tragic fire.

Jamie Oliver invited the now-homeless residents to come to his restaurant for a comforting meal on the house.

'You are all welcome to come hang out in my restaurant and be fed and watered by my Jamies Italian team,' reads his Instagram post.

'We are in the Westfield just around the corner. Food and drink free of charge so just go and speak to my manager Juan and we will sort you out and give you some love.'

The two top British chefs have been feuding for a while now, but it looks like one of them is totally over it.

Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsay's drama has been going on for a couple of years and all started when Jamie stuck up for an Australian journalist whose physical appearance was slagged off by the foul-mouthed TV chef.

Since then, the Twitter spats have been ongoing.

But, in a recent interview with Jamie in Women's Day, he said that the whole thing has gotten a bit "pathetic."

"Gordon has been fairly horrible to me over the years and I did used to bite," he said. "Now I just shut up and take it. A bit of drama is always good for some PR."

He added, "Competition is healthy. It's good to have that kind of rivalry."

Jamie continued to say that it's a bit embarrassing now, since their kids are the same age and can see all of the back and forth bickering online.

"Our kids are around the same age and they don't need to see their dads slagging each other off. It's pathetic."

We wonder what Gordon has to say about this.

Due to tough trading and the "pressures and unknowns" of the Brexit vote, famed TV chef Jamie Oliver has to close SIX of his restaurants.

Eateries in  Aberdeen, Exeter, Cheltenham, Richmond, Tunbridge Wells and Ludgate Hill will all face closing their doors by March of this year.

Fortunately, Jamie's Italian in Dundrum will remain open.

Chief executive of the Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group, Simon Blagden, said: “As every restaurant owner knows, this is a tough market and post-Brexit the pressures and unknowns have made it even harder.

“These closures are in no way a reflection on the the dedication and commitment of our staff and my first priority is to try and secure those affected alternative jobs. Where this isn’t possible, we’ll be working with them to find alternative employment.”

The closures of his restaurants will mean around 120 employees will be out of work.

“In the UK we will be focusing on our core Jamie’s Italian estate and on the expansion of the Barbecoa brand which will see two new openings in 2017.

“Internationally we plan to launch another 22 Jamie’s Italian restaurants with our current partners and are also looking forward to focusing on running and developing further our newly acquired Australian restaurants.”

Jamie currently has 42 Jamie's Italian restaurants in the UK, and more than 36 in other countries.

He has barely been able to contain his excitement since welcoming his fifth child last weekend, and after a week at home with the family, Jamie Oliver couldn’t resist the urge to share his gratitude with the world.

The celebrity chef ‘hijacked’ wife Jools’ Instagram account this weekend to pay the most beautiful tribute to her (and devoted mums everywhere!).

Posting a photo of an exhausted Jools catching 40 winks alongside their newborn son, Jamie heaped on the praise for his wife of 16 years.

“I can’t tell you what a wicked mum this chick is… Big love to all the mums out there, it’s a hard graft, amazing,” he gushed.

The Naked Chef added, playfully: “Happy weekend, people; and when Jools finds out I hacked her account, all I can say is, I love you.”

As you can imagine, the couple’s followers adored the proud father’s romantic sentiments.

One fan responded: “Beautiful words from you, Jamie, and your two precious bundles look peaceful.”

As touched as Jools’ 358K-strong following was, however, they let it be known that they’re growing impatient with the secrecy surrounding Baby’s name!

Natural birth, and my two eldest girls got to come in at the very end as the baby was born, which was amazing to witness – very, very emotional.”

Massive congratulations are in order this morning following the news that much-loved celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has become a dad for the fifth time.

Taking to Instagram in the early hours of this morning, Jamie shared a photo of his gorgeous little boy, and his social media followers have wasted no time sending messages of congratulations to the Oliver family.

"And then this just happened guys !! IT'S A BABY BOY!" he began in a post which has been like almost a quarter of a million times since its upload.

"Everyone in the Oliver family is very surprised and beyond happy," he wrote before paying tribute to his wife of 16 years.

"He arrived safely, mum @joolsoliver was really really amazing, unbelievably composed, natural birth and my two eldest girls got to come in at the very end as the baby was born which was amazing to witness very very emotional," he continued.

"8 lbs ( that's 16 packs of butter for you bakers out there) anyway were all hitting the hay it's been a long day big love… bless a little baby boy Woop Woop."

"And love to all you mums out there," he finished. "How amazing you are it blows my mind …. Big love jamie o"

He's calmed down since his Naked Chef days, but it seems that Jamie Oliver still has a very… erm, schoolboy-like mind.

Saturday Kitchen viewers were shocked this morning as Jamie made two very rude (but, admittedly hilarious) references live on air.

But, after the chef slipped a couple of sexual innuendos into the cooking show, some fans hit out and said the show was "car crash TV".

The first shock was how he reacted when Joe Hurd said that their fellow guest Anna Jones is a vegetarian.

Jamie said: "Are you vegetarian? Since when? Really? I remember putting pork in your mouth. I know her cook books are vegetarian but you use to love pork."

And then later on in the show, while asking Anna to clean a plate, he said: "Give that plate a good old rim job".

However, after the backlash, other fans began to praise him for lightening the show up a bit, with one Twitter user saying: Saturday Kitchen is EPIC today. It's like watching Father Jack minus the swearing… But then there is still time yet," and another admitting, "most amazing episode ever. Was supposed to leave home twenty minutes ago but just can't miss this wonderment!"

Ah, Jamie. You never fail to surprise us.

Jamie Oliver has landed himself in a bit of hot water this week after some comments he made about breastfeeding angered a number of people who have come out to criticise the chef.

"We have the worst breastfeeding in the world," said the father-of-four on LBC

"If you breastfeed for more than six months, women are 50% less likely to get breast cancer. When do you ever hear that? Never.

"It's easy, it's more convenient, it's more nutritious, it's better, it's free.

And Twitter was not impressed as a number of women felt that the celebrity chef was lecturing them on the needs of their baby.

The backlash got so bad that the 40-year-old was forced to clarify his comments in a subsequent tweet.

"I'm not planning on starting a campaign on breastfeeding. It's simply a matter of interest following my nutritional studies over the past two years.

"I understand that breastfeeding is not easy and in some cases not even possible but just wanted to support women who DO want to breastfeed and make it easier to do so.

"As a father and father-to-be I would never want to offend women or mums as I knows how incredible they are and I would get a kicking when I got home!"

The backlash comes just days after Jamie and his wife Jools confirmed that they are expecting their fifth child.
