It has emerged that messages show Vernon Kay suggested to meet Rhian in "a very private location," and asked her not to tell anyone they were back in touch.

The texts which were obtained by The Sun, also show how they talked about their six year "breaking news anniversary," and moving on "to another meeting."

In another string of messages, the TV presenter told her,"you'd better get a wig."

However, a source close to the couple told the newspaper: "Vernon has obviously apologised for dragging it up again. Tess has forgiven him but only under some very strict conditions. The main one is that he never speaks to Rhian ever again."

If you've ever watched a rom-com/read a chick-lit book where the main character happens to work in the world of fashion, you've no doubt heard about the elusive myth of the 'sample sale.'

Designer pieces at knock-down prices? Sounds like perfection to us, but it's something we rarely see on Irish shores.

But happily that's all about to change as NINE of Ireland's most covetable labels have come together for a massive three-day sample sale in Dublin city centre.

Yup, starting from next week you'll be able to pick up some stunning pieces at marked-down prices from Irish design greats like Manley, Caroline Kilkenny, Mona Swim, Jill De Burca, Theo & George, Electronic Sheep, Edge Only, Maria Dora Raj and Love & Robots.

The Irish Design Sample Sale kicks off next Thursday April 7 at the RSAI, 63 Merrion Square.

Opening hours are as follows:

Thursday 10am-9pm

Friday 10am – 6pm

Saturday 10am – 5pm

On the Thursday there will be refreshments served from 5pm, so pop along after work for a glass of wine or a beer and nab yourself a bargain. Plus, you may even get to speak to some of the designers behind the labels while you're shopping.

Selena Gomez let it spill that her BFF is in a relationship, and we've found out who it is (NOT Harry Styles).

People have reported that Kendall Jenner is "secretly dating" LA Lakers player Jordan Clarkson – and he's gorgeous.

"They have been secretly dating for months and they are super into each other. He is super sweet and a total gentleman and Kendall loves that," a source told the site.

Kendall was linked to superstar Harry Styles for quite some time, but he allegedly has "commitment issues" so she moved on.

If you watch KUWTK, you'll know Kendall is the quieter one of the fam and likes to keep things to herself, so if this is true it's not surprising she's keeping it a secret.

Apple has a new advert where Taylor Swift faceplants a treadmill – and it's brilliant.

The singer is the new spokesperson for the company, and while it looks like she's working out in the new ad while listening to Drake, it all goes horribly (yet hilariously) wrong.

It also involves her awkwardly rapping to Drake's song featuring Future, in a crop top and a full face of make-up.

Just watch and laugh, ladies.

Less than three years after her arrest for attempted drug smuggling, Tyrone woman Michaella McCollum has been freed from prison. 

The 23-year-old has been released on parole from the Ancon Dos prison in Lima, but the terms of her release mean that she may have to remain in Peru for anywhere up to six years.

"Michaela McCollum was released from prison at 5pm last night following a successful application for parole," legal firm KRW Law said via a statement this morning.

“She has NOT been released under any repatriation scheme or other protocol between Peru and the UK."

Michaella, from Dungannon, Co Tyrone was arrested at Lima Airport in August 2013, along with Scottish woman Melissa Reid. The pair were found attempting to fly to Madrid with 11kg of cocaine hidden inside food sachets in their luggage. Both received jail sentences of six and a half years.

Irish-American Bishop Sean Walsh visited Michaella in prison a few days ago, and confirmed to media today that she has indeed been allowed to leave.

“She has been granted parole to my very great surprise. She’s going to be granted parole six years and six months,” he told the Irish Independent.

"She is of course quite relieved… Probably she will remain in Lima. She will be allowed to work and study if she wants to do that."

Michaella was freed under new legislation on early prison release introduced in Peru last year.

She has served two years and three months of her full sentence.

She bounced onto the mainstream early last year and has been in the limelight ever since – but Amy Schumer has revealed that she doesn't think her fame is going to last much longer.

While on USA Today, the comedienne opened up about being a major celebrity in the past 12 months.

"Do you guys know that I'm really famous now?" she began.

"I think it's going to last another six months. I didn't know what being famous would be like. You can imagine, and then it actually really blows."

Even though Amy doesn't think her fame will last another much longer, she already has a fifth season of Inside Amy Schumer lined up for 2017, so we doubt she's going to be going back to normal life anytime soon.

He might be a prince (and a baby prince, at that) but that doesn't mean he doesn't have to do some work around the castle.

Prince Charles has revealed that he likes to see George do some gardening, and even has him planting trees in their home.

Charles told BBC Radio 4 that the two-year-old has already been digging up a storm:

"The most important thing is I got him planting a tree or two here, so we planted it together and shovelled in the earth.

"I always like gardening – I hate to say this – from a child's point of view. It's a funny thing, because I have such happy memories of bits of garden at my grandmother's house,” said the 67-year-old.

"In Scotland and here [Highgrove] I have tried to design it with what would appeal to a child; it is the paths and the interests.

"I have tried to do that at Dumfries House as well. We have made a maze now up there which is rather fun, and I adored a maze when I was young. You just put yourself in the child's position and sometimes it works."

When we were two-years-old we doubt we even cared about gardening, but Charles sure sounds like he makes the work fun for George. And we'd just love to see that maze!

As with most classic films that we watch over and over again, it's easy to forget that the cast of Mrs Doubtfire are not all frozen in time back in 1993.

Mara Wilson's gone on to ditch acting in favour of writing, Sally Field has been in everything from Brothers and Sisters to The Amazing Spider-Man, and while Robin Williams has since sadly passed away, his career also took off in a million different directions post-Doubtfire.

One cast member we haven't heard much from in a few years though is Matthew Lawrence, the teen actor who played Robin and Sally's son Chris.

After Mrs Doubtfire, Matthew went on to star in Boy Meets World, but there has been relative radio silence from him since 2000, aside from a few cameos for Nickelodeon.

Well, we've tracked him down, and we can confirm that the adult Matthew is 100% HOT.

Amber Rose has debuted her new emoji app – and it looks extremely like Kim Kardashian's.

The pair are known to have had a bit of beef in the past, but since they shared a photo together (after Kanye and Wiz Khalifa's fight), everything seems to be cleared up.

According to TMZ, Amber made $4 million (€3.5m) from the app, and received $2 million (€1.75m) just by signing on to the company that developed the emojis.

The website claims that Amber said her app had nothing to do with Kim's, but with a whole load big booties and stripper poles, we'd say Ms Rose took some inspo from her rival BFF.

And a special mention has to go to #10, Google's Mic Drop feature, which caused something of a catastrophe on Gmail this morning.

The best way to anger Gmal users? Add a second "send" button that automatically sends a Mic Drop GIF to whoever you're emailing, and then MUTES the conversation so you don't receive any replies.

Honestly Google, what were you thinking?

It seems like Disney are adding another princess to their list as Snow White is set to get a new sister.

Red Rose was one of the original Grimm Brothers' fairy tales, and while their story didn't include Snow White, producers at Disney have decided to make Rose a "companion piece," claims The Hollywood Reporter.

The story transposes Rose Red into the Snow White tale, making her a key player in the later part of the story.

When Snow White takes a bite from the infamous poisonous apple and falls into her sleeping death, her estranged sister, Rose Red, must go on a scary quest with the dwarves to find a way to break the curse and bring Snow White back to life.

We think this is going to be one kick-ass princess and we can't wait to see the trouble she gets into while trying to save her sister. Who said we're too old for a princess movie, anyway?
