Queen Bey might have wanted Champagne on hand at Croker last night, but it seems what the megastar really needed to kick off the Irish leg of her Formation world tour was a pint of the black stuff.

A new photo has appeared online of Beyoncé enjoying a pint of Guinness shortly before her Dublin performance last night.

Wearing the same white dress she’d worn to watch Serena Williams win her 22nd Grand Slam title hours before, the Sorry singer posed with a pint while showing the camera her foamy Guinness tash.

 

Naturally the image has everyone pretty excited on Twitter with one user writing: “Beyoncé drinking Guinness is pure joy.”

While another said: “Beyoncé drinking Guinness backstage is #WeekendGoals.”

75,000 fans were treated to a major performance by the star last night as she paid tribute to Prince, revealed behind-the-scenes footage of her family life with Jay Z and Blue Ivy and even appeared to walk on water. 

Since her pre-show fuel was a pint of Ireland's most iconic beverage, we're not surprised Sasha Fierce totally smashed it.

Singers Drake and Rihanna took a break from touring yesterday to mourn the loss and celebrate the life of a very special fan.

Megan Flores was suffering from terminal cancer when she met the famous pair through the Make-A-Wish Foundation back in March and it seems the Florida native made quite the impression on the performers.

According to E! News, Drake and Rihanna – who are currently touring together on RiRi’s Anti World Tour – learned of Megan’s passing on Saturday and quickly took to social media to acknowledge the powerful impression she had made on them.

Sharing a picture of Megan on Instagram, Drake wrote: “Rest in peace my angel.  I know heaven is celebrating today.”

“Thank you for the moments and emotions we share I am blessed to have known you in this lifetime.”

Earlier this year, the rapper dedicated his latest album Views to Megan.

Above the credits for the album’s opener he said: “This body of work is dedicated to Megan Flores.  I pray for your well-being every day.”

Rihanna also used Instagram to mourn the loss of the fan and reminisce on how Drake had introduced her to Megan after her performance in Miami.

The star wrote: “I had the pleasure of meeting an angel on earth!  After my show in Miami, [Drake] introduced me to Megan!”

“She’s inspired me so much with her strength and her perspective on life!  So fearless and so kind!”

“It’s heavy news that I can’t slide in your DMs anymore like I used to!!  There was always a smile waiting for me there!”

“You brightened any day!  Rest up baby girl!  We will miss you!”

Attached to the message is a picture of Drake, Megan and RiRi smiling happily.

If there’s one thing the Internet can’t stand it’s airbrushing, so you can imagine how much online hate stars like Selena Gomez get when they share their picture perfect selfies.

But a new Instagram post by Selena’s makeup artist Hung Vanngo has silenced her critics as it shows the star’s picture before and after it was retouched and, naturally enough, Selena looks totally flawless in both.

In the caption Hung wrote: “Instagram photo 101.  Here is an unedited & edited versions of an Instagram photo.”

He then used the hashtags “#brightness #contrast #warm #saturation #color #vignette #sharped…#TheSkyIsTheLimit #NowTheHatersCanChill” before finishing the post with a cheeky “Enjoy!”.

The only obvious difference between the two photos is that one is much brighter than the other proving that Selena’s hair, makeup and skin really are as perfect as they seem to be.

They already have a dog each, but it seems like Cheryl and Liam Payne wanted to have a little pooch together.

Cheryl took to Instagram to share a picture of her beau and their new dog… and it seems like things are really serious.

It's like a beauty wonderland – there's every type of make-up product known to man and also really cute hairstyles for when you need to ask your BFF 'up or down'?

And some major brands are also gaining big on this too as you'll see every label from NYX to Urban Decay.

For now, it's only available to use in the US (BOOOO) but we're hoping it'll come to Ireland very soon.

It's a good day for Serena Williams, she has just taken home the trophy in Wimbledon.

In the captivating final, Serena beat Germany's Angelique Kerber 7-5 to 6-3.

It's the youngest Williams sister's 22nd grand slam title and we're sure Venus is over the moon for her sibling.

Subway fans, your usual footlong is about to get a whole lot better.

The sandwich company is on its way to introducing pretzel bread – which sounds totally weird, but hear us out.

It's not going to come in the normal 6-inch or footlong style, instead it'll be like a large bun, with all of your favourite fillings inside.

Just imagine the wonderful salty, crisp bun teamed with melted cheese, and slathered with some meatball marinara. Mmmm…

According to Delish, the chain is rolling it out in only a few selected stores around the world to test the waters, but hopefully if all goes well, it could be available in all subway outlets soon.

This might just be better than our beloved footlong.

Niall Horan is one of the most famous singers in the world, but he's certainly not going to let anyone take advantage of him and his lads.

Comedian Daniel Walton was trying to promote his own tour and decided to claim he had inside info on One Direction after attending a recording of A League of Their Own, which Niall was speaking at.

Of course, fans of 1D flooded to his Twitter page to try and scoop the gossip, but Niall Horan swooped in and shut the funny man down in a simple but fantastic way.

Niall simply tweeted him, "who are you?" which made fans believe Daniel had zilch on 1D and was just trying to create a stir online .

They split up for a short time last month, but now it seems that things are definitely back ON with Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid.

Just as Ms Hadid returned from Taylor Swift's July 4 celebrations (where was Zayn's invite?) the pair were packing on the PDA on Instagram last night as it appears they're making up for some lost time.

Gigi captioned the photo, "Squish ya," and an hour later had already racked up 500,000 likes.

Kodaline took to the stage at Marlay Park last night for an epic summer gig.

But we all know the deal with concerts and queues; no matter where you go, you know you'll end up waiting in line for 20 minutes.

So, to make the crowd liven up, one security man knocked out some deadly dance moves to keep the people entertained – and it actually looks like they're all having gas craic:

We think a security guard like him should become compulsory at concerts!
