When a show runs for as long as Friends did, it is inevitable viewers will begin wondering just how close the cast of actors and actresses truly were.

And while Sex and the City was plagued with rumours of cat fights and cold shoulders, most Friends fans focussed on the possible relationships which COULD have been blossoming behind the scenes.

Did Matthew Perry and Courteney Cox ever get it on in the early days? Did David Schwimmer and Jennifer ever toy with the idea of a real-life Ross and Rachel? And so on, and so forth.

Well, one woman who was more than happy to take the bull by the horns and address the idea head-on was given a platform to do so on The Late Late Show this week.

After appearing alongside James Corden in Carpool Karaoke, Lady Gaga laid one fairly cheeky question on fellow guest, Matt Le Blanc, who handled it like a PRO.

Fair play for trying, Gaga.

It took a sledgehammer and a pick-axe, but Donald Trump's star on Hollywood's iconic Walk of Fame has been destroyed.

A member of the public, who identified himself as Jamie Otis, chose to disguise himself as a construction worker before taking the tools to Donald's star in the early hours of this morning.

On a relatively deserted Hollywood Boulevard, the man could be seen chipping away at the star, which Donald was honoured with in 2007, before eventually smashing it to pieces.

According to Deadline, the individual at the centre of the incident claimed his actions were in response to the presidential candidate's treatment of women – both in public and private.

He explained that he had been hoping to extract the star and auction it off in order to raise funds for women who have come forward to accuse Trump of sexually assaulting them in the past.

A nine-year-old girl has become an Internet sensation after a video of her performing Adele’s Hello in a bid to connect with her late father went viral.

After her mother asked her why she was repeatedly singing the song in her bedroom, Sadiella Shroyer explained that it was her way of apologising to her dad “from the other side”.

In a heart-breaking Instagram post Ami Shroyer wrote:  “This song became popular about the time we lost Mike.  She would sing it over and over in her room, and I asked her one time why she liked this song so much.”

“Her response: ‘I think Daddy can hear me from the other side, and I'm sorry for everything I ever did that was wrong.’”

Ami – who is herself a singer-songwriter – revealed the emotions her daughter’s words evoked in her.

“Broke. My. Heart,” she wrote.  “Still… she loves this song, even if the rest of the world is tired of it…I really really love this girl!”

According to Babble, Sadiella’s dad died in December 2015 after an unexplained obstruction eventually caused him to go into cardiac arrest.

Months later, her grandfather, Ami’s father, died from a brain haemorrhage.

Ami told the site that her family have dealt with those tragedies through a combination of faith and music.

It's safe to say many of us are guilty of a few Jagerbombs on a night out, and for a large amount of us, a Vodka Red Bull is our drink of choice when we hit the dance floor.

However, new research carried out states that mixing highly-caffeinated alcohol with energy drinks can be as bad as taking a Class A drug.

The study was carried out by Richard van Rijn from Purdue University, which saw that the common combination can have a detrimental effect on your body.

"It seems the two substances together push them over a limit that causes changes in behaviour and changes the neurochemistry in their brains.

"We are clearly seeing effects of the combined drinks that we would not see if drinking one or the other."

The research also noted that people who drink the combination frequently will have a higher likelihood of using cocaine in the future.

We'll skip the Jagerbombs, so.

"I don't have any regrets. I feel like I look a lot better now. I don't like natural," so said Chloe Ferry of Geordie Shore fame when questioned about her reliance on cosmetic surgery.

The 21-year-old, who bounced onto our screens during the MTV's shows 10th season, looks a far cry from her early days living it up on the Newcastle party scene, and while the change has, undoubtedly, been drastic, it seems Chloe is relatively content.

"When I see before and after pictures I think I've changed so much," she told the MailOnline. "When I see pictures from when I first went to Geordie Shore, I think: 'Woah. Was I that ugly?' I wasn't gorgeous!"

And yet despite various procedures, the reality star, who's been in the spotlight just two years, has no intention of stopping any time soon, and even admits that the result of her last nose job wasn't exactly what she was hoping for.

So this is my side profile with my new nose still abit of bruising but nearly gone only been a week since my nose job

"I want a second nose job. I'm not happy with my first and I don't like it at all. The way I pictured my nose in my head is not what I feel now."

"I feel like I need another one and I am going to get it. I didn't rush into the first but its not what I wanted," she admitted.

In a move which isn't likely to surprise anyone, Chloe holds fellow reality star, Kylie Jenner, as an example of the look she's ultimately hoping to achieve.

"I want to know the number of Kylie Jenner's surgeon. Every single girl wants to look like her but I just get the backlash because I'm in the public eye."

"It doesn't bother me what people say," Chloe insisted. "I think if you don't like something and you've got the money just do it. If you can afford it just do it if it's gonna make you happy." (sic)

When it comes to Adele, we won't have a bad word said against her, so when we heard Bruno Mars was going down the 'diva' route while discussing his time with the British singer, we weren't too happy.

Until, that is, we realised Bruno was using diva in a positive sense. (You lucked out this time, Mars.)

While reflecting on time spent in the studio with the Someone Like You singer, Bruno told New York radio show Cubby & Carolina Bermudez In The Morning that he was pretty blown away by the Londoner.

Bruno, who co-wrote All I Ask on the singer's latest album, said: "She walks into the studio, she’s got all this attitude, she’s a diva, she’s like, ‘I don’t want to do this. I don’t like that.'

"And then as soon as we hit a couple chords that she liked, we started rolling, and that’s where we got that song from," he explained.

Sounding properly in awe of the 28-year-old, Bruno added that Adele's presence in the studio is a force to be reckoned with.

She’s incredible,” he added. "There was a moment when she was singing in the booth, and I’m not exaggerating at all and the water was vibrating…like you know that scene in Jurassic Park."

"She’s got some pipes on her, and she’s just a superstar," he gushed before questioning why they have yet to perform the song together in public.

“I don’t know what she’s waiting on, man. I’m like come on Adele, like, send an email, let me know."

Yeah Adele, let him know!

With over one billion (yes, one billion) views, Justin Bieber's debut single Baby was, at one time, one of the most watched videos on YouTube.

And it's for that reason most of us can barely listen to it these days without losing the will to live.

From its repetitive chorus to Justin's chipmunk-sounding vocals, the vast majority of us would agree that the 2010 track is probably best confined to the past, but it looks like W magazine never got the memo.

Unearthing the lyrics for a segment with Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, the magazine had the ladies perform the song in a move which forced most YouTube users to peace-out halfway through.

"I paused it as soon as they Gigi started singing to write this comment. I'm out," wrote one while another added: "They're both so unremarkable."

And the best one? The concerned YouTuber who asked: "Why does Kendall sound like Google Translation?"

Now in fairness, we probably could have done without this…

When we say 'Niall Horan underwear selfie', it's safe to say a million girls' hearts (ahem) will flutter.

However, the underwear selfie that Niall did post is nothing but a bit of fun.

The singer appeared on The Ellen Show yesterday to debut This Town in America and Ellen gave him a pair of her famous boxers.

Niall popped them on straight away and shared a photo on Snapchat, much to the delight of his fans:

Ah Niall, you cutie.

With feminist issues hitting headlines daily, it is glaringly obvious that women are still being treated differently at work and within society in comparison to their male counterparts.

But while most women recognise the existence of a gender pay gap, not all of us have physically taken to the streets in search of change.

On Monday, Icelandic women went about countering that system by walking out of work at 2.38pm, cutting their working day by 14 percent to reflect the fact that on average women in Iceland earn 14-18 percent less than men.

Thousands of women gathered in Reykjavik’s main square after leaving their places of work.

Many took to Twitter to document the protest with powerful videos, statements and images.

The country has a strong history of women demanding equality.  On October 24 1975, 90 percent of the country’s female citizens went on strike by refusing to work, cook or provide childcare.

Up until that point only nine women had ever won seats in Iceland’s parliament.  Five years later the country made Vigdis Finnbogadottir its – and Europe’s – first female president.

A referendum to repeal the Eight Amendment cannot be held until 2018 at the earliest after the Government reached a compromise yesterday… And it's a possible referendum at that.

Fine Gael and the Independent Alliance made an agreement on how to vote on the possible Bill, which is seeking to make abortion legal in Ireland.

The Citizen's Assembly has requested six months to work on the Bill, which they will then send on to an Oireachtas committee.

Fine Gael and Independence Alliance then agreed to an additional six months so the committee can complete their deliberations.

That will mean that a referendum, if proposed by the Citizen's Assembly, cannot be held until early 2018.

However, sources tell the Irish Times that the second half of 2018 will be more likely.
