Comedy writer Kevin Curran has passed away at the age of 59 after a long illness.
Kevin spent 15 years working on The Simpsons and is known for writing some of the best one-liners on the cartoon.
He joined the show in 2001 as a writer but in recent years moved on to being a co-executive producer.
Kevin also won three Emmy Awards during his time working on the cartoon.
He will be missed by his son and daughter, and former partner, Helen Fielding, who is the creator of Bridget Jones.
Rest in peace, Kevin.
