While the rest of us have our fingers crossed for another few weeks of sunshine and beer gardens, the good folk behind one of Ireland's most iconic department stores have decided that it's officially time to turn our backs on summer, and usher in the yuletide.

Unveiling its renowned Christmas Market in its Dublin, Cork and Limerick branches this Thursday, Brown Thomas have reminded us that there's only a mere – wait for it – four months and one week until the big day.

We know, we know. How disorganised do you feel right now?!

From Christmas trees and decorations to gift ideas and general seasonal merriment, the dedicated festive spaces in the store's three branches will be your one-stop-shop for all things Christmas-related.

As long as you don't mind having to take off your sunnies before venturing in, that is.

And for those people who have everything gift-wrapped by October? Go wild!

Pippa O Connor has sent a lovely tribute to her hubby Brian Ormond on his birthday.

The former model took to Instagram to share adorable pictures of their family together as well as a snap from their wedding day.

If this love train was anymore complicated we'd swear we were watching a rom-com.

Stephanie Davis wants to find a new man – and has taken on the help of Katie Price to find the perfect suitor.

An insider told Closer magazine: "Katie and Steph are incredibly close now – she's like a big sister to her.

"She's told Steph to make sure she thinks of herself and her future – and that includes choosing the right man."

However, according to Katie, it can't be any old Joe, he has to be "rich and high-profile."

The source said: "Top of the list are footballers. Steph is hanging on to Katie's every word. She's totally in awe of her and is doing everything she says because she really values her advice."

The friend added: "Steph would love to be parading around with a footballer or celeb – partly to annoy Jeremy. She's still upset and shocked over everything."

Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans will likely remember an episode where Kim got an X-ray to prove – once and for all – that her world-famous bum comes down to nothing more than good genes.

And while many would argue that that should have been enough to silence cynics, it clearly wasn't as the mum-of-two is still regularly plagued by rumours that she's had cosmetic surgery on her derriére.

Addressing the rumours during a recent live stream on her website, Kim ventured a guess as to why the implant rumour has yet to fall by the wayside.
 

Kim, who suffers from psoriasis, treats the skin condition with cortisone injections, and despite being told they there was little chance she would develop an indent in her bum as a result of the injections, that's exactly what happened.

"One of my neighbours was a dermatologist at Cedars," 35-year-old Kim tells fans online. ”I go in there and he’s like, ‘There’s a one in a billion chance that you will get a huge indent in your butt.’ Of course I get a huge indent on my butt."

Aware that this likely added to speculation, Kim explained: “There is a picture of me in Miami wearing an electric blue dress, and another picture of me walking down Robertson."

"You see the indent. And I think that’s when the rumours started, ‘She’s had implants’." Kim surmises.

Insistent that the indent is the result of injections recieved solely to treat psoriasis, Kim assures fans: "Every few years I get a cortisone shot. That’s a little unknown fact of me."

Teen Mom 3 star, Mackenzie McKee, welcomed a baby boy yesterday, but it sounds like the reality star endured considerable stress in the run-up to her child's birth this week.

Taking to social media to ask the public for their prayers and support as her daughter prepared for labour, Mackenzie's mother, Angie Douthit, appeared particularly anxious.

Sharing a photo of her 21-year-old daughter and her husband on Facebook, Angie wrote: "Prayer alert: Mackenzie is having a c section n a few minutes." (sic)

"She is type 1 diabetic and the babies heart rate is high. He will be in the NICU for a while even though he weighs over 9 pounds, (according to ultrasound).," she continued.

Explaining that her daughter would welcome support, Angie added: "Mic is very nervous and scared. Please pray."

Thankfully, just an hour later Angie shared the news the family were hoping for, writing: "He's here!!! 10 pounds 1 ounce. I haven't seen him yet, but they r ok for now! Praise God!" (sic)

"Baby is in NICU with a navel IV and a tube for breathing," Angie told followers concerned for Mackenzie and her child's condition. "He'll be there for a few days. Please keep praying."

Social media users have responded in their droves and wasted no time wishing the family the best as they navigate the next few days.

Mackenzie, who is also mum to four-year-old Gannon and two-year-old Jaxie, has named her newborn son Broncs, and we are wishing her all the very best.

Niall Horan seems to be having a lot of problems lately.

Not only are his new LA neighbours not happy with him, now he and fellow 1D member Louis Tomlinson, have come under fire on Whatsapp.

The pair revealed that they have been receiving "disgusting" messages on the messaging app, and frankly, they're pretty fed up with it.

Taking to Twitter last night, Louis wrote: "Time to change my number.. Getting some disgusting stuff on Whatsapp (sic)… Losers!"

Shortly after, Niall jumped to his BFF's side, saying: "Me too mate. Horrific. Some of the things people are saying (sic)."

Trying to make the ordeal a little light-hearted, Louis then suggests they have a rap battle with the haters.

However, it looks like Niall has totally had enough as he later tweeted: "I wonder when they'll stop annoying us!"

Hopefully one day, Niall!

10 years ago, Katie Ledecky was just nine years of age, and as a keen swimmer, was a massive fan of Michael Phelps.

Over the course of the past decade, Katie has carved an incredibly successful career for herself in the world of swimming, and as a six-time Olympic medalist, can now officially count herself among her hero's peers.

And it was this incredible progression which made a photo of a clearly excited Katie meeting Michael back in 2006 all the more poignant in the eyes of the public.

Acknowledging people's interest in the photograph, the US teammates decided to recreate the image…with a twist.

Instead of maintaining the same roles, Michael paid tribute to Katie's progress and incredible achievements since their first meeting, and was photographed asking for her autograph this time around.

Sharing the photo on their Twitter page, USA Swimming wrote: "Vice-Versa: @katieledecky @MichaelPhelps re-create famous photo with opposite roles #riotoday #SwimUnited."

Twitter users were all over the adorable twist on the throwback snap and wasted no time sharing their thoughts on the upload.

"I love this pic! It shows dreams can come true! Michael, you are truly an inspiration! Thank you!" wrote one while another added: "Love this! Thanks for inspiring young swimmers!"

Retweeting the reverse snap on their page, The Today Show wrote: "A lot can change in 10 years! @katieledecky and 'MichaelPhelps in 2006 and today in Rio!"

"What an inspiration! Katie is well on her way to joining Phelps on the Mount Rushmore of swimming. Incredible!" replied a member of the public.

He sent his fans into meltdown in April when he tweeted about retiring, but now, Conor McGregor has finally opened up.

"I was in Iceland, chilling. I sent it on my phone," he said on The MMA Hour.

"Straight onto Twitter. Boom, boom, boom. 'I'm outta here, thanks for the cheese, catch ya's all later. See ya!' Then off to the gym," he recounted.

"Then, I came back from the gym and, all of a sudden, the thing is f*cking everywhere.

"That was another crazy experience. This life is a rollercoaster."

However, he also admitted that he could very well have retired that day, but decided to relax with a drink instead.

"If it came down to it I would have [retired] but good luck trying to keep an Irishman away from a fight.

“That night, I had a f*cking drink, went out. I was like ‘f*ck everybody, I am out of here’.”

Gaining the approval of your other half's parents isn't necessarily required, but let's face it, it does make life a whole lot easier if you don't have in-law issues to tend with on a daily basis.

Unfortunately for Kendall Jenner, it sounds like she's got her work cut out for her if she wants to win over her new boyfriend's uber-protective stepmother.

With speculation rife that Kendall and A$AP Rocky are more than just friends, the rapper's stepmum has decided to weigh in on the rumours, and she's none too happy right now.

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail Online, 38-year-old Kari said: "I’ve heard all about him dating Kendall and I don’t like it."

Kari didn't hold back when offering her assessment of the reality television family, adding: "Everything I hear about the Kardashians makes me think they are a bad family for Rakim to be involved with."

In the court of public opinion, men who become involved with the Kardashian/ Jenner family often fall victim to the media machine, and it sounds like Kari is particularly conscious of this.

"I don’t want him being dragged into that circus, he is too good for that and can do so much better," she explained.

A$AP Rocky and Kendall have been spotted on numerous dates in recent weeks – something which Kari hopes will come to an end soon.

"They are just not the kind of people I’d like to see him hanging around with," she admitted.

We wonder what Kris Jenner will have to say about that one.

It looks like Nadia Ford is about to take part in Celebrity Masterchef… That's if the bosses meet her one condition.

According to The Dairy, Nadia said she'd be more than happy to take part in the show, but they have to have the money for her.

The model recently moved to Japan to live with her rugby boyfriend, Dominic Day, so in order for her to take part on the reality show, she wants the bosses to pay for her moving expenses as well as her appearance fee.

"They would love to sign her up for Celebrity Masterchef, but they're just finalising the logistics of it," a source told the website.

"In addition to her appearance fee, there is the added element of expenses when it comes to Nadia – they wouldn't have to do this for the other contestants.

"Producers are very keen to get Nadia on board as she always does well for TV3," the insider added.

When it comes to reality television, it's no secret that the Kardashian family currently have the market cornered.

And while the family's show – and the numerous spin-offs it has had over the years – are often considered a guilty pleasure by the viewing public, that hasn't stopped them tuning in in their millions every week…until now, that is.

While countless are continuously fascinated by the world-famous family's most elusive member, Rob, it seems they're not quite ready for his solo endeavour.

And with the official sneak peek for his reality show –  featuring fiancée Blac Chyna – dropping yesterday, the public took to Twitter in their droves to slam the programme.

Commenting on the trailer which shows the tension which exists within Rob and Chyna's relationship, one Twitter user wrote: "This whole show is just wrong!"

"What's with the violence and drama: if he's texting someone else… Break up!"

"All aboard for the train wreck!" wrote another while someone else commented: "Yup. This teaser is proof that civilization is doomed."

"Seriously? Who the f**k cares about these two a-holes?" questioned yet another.

Luckily for Rob and Chyna, not everyone will feel the need to switch over once it becomes a TV regular.

Some members of the public know that a dose of reality TV when you have the Sunday Night Fear is the only thing for you.

We're with her on that one.
