With slick new bars popping up all over our capital city in recent years, it takes something extra special to make the ladies here at SHEmazing! HQ sit up and take notice.

So props to Rob Kearney, Dave Kearney, Sean O’Brien and Jamie Heaslip – see what we did there? – for giving the city's Royal Hibernian Way a major injection of oomph by opening a new bar which can take you from after-work drinks to full-on Friday feels.

And in case you think this is the lads' first venture into the world of gastronomy, think again.

Hot on the heels of the success enjoyed by their recently extended Ballsbridge bar, The Bridge, the lads have decided to move a little closer to the hubbub of the capital's most iconic street.

Situated at the junction of Lemon and Duke St, the aptly named bar is a combination of everything we love about heading out – good beer, good food, and good decor .. oh, and a quartet of Ireland's most talented and – let's face it – delish sports stars.

Styled by interior specialists O’Donnell O’Neill Design, the bar combines timber, copper and leather aesthetics to create a slick environment in which to get your drank on.

Commenting on the exciting new venture, Lemon & Duke's managing director, Noel Anderson, said: "We’re very excited to open the doors of Lemon & Duke."

"It's been an extremely busy summer working on this project and the extension of The Bridge 1859. I’m really looking forward to working with the four guys to replicate the success of our venture in Ballsbridge,"

And hey, if you head to today's opening, you may just be served by Rob himself…

It's safe to say that the Internet is obsessed with forgotten actors and what they look like now. Nearly every day, a throwback pops up on Twitter and we have to click in to see just how different they look.

And Viktor Krum from Harry Potter is certainly no different.

The Bulgarian Quidditch player stole the heart of Hermione in the Goblet of Fire, but now, he's stealing our hearts.

Viktor's real name is Stanislav Yanevski, and 11 years later, he looks very different:

If Facebook's 'On This Day' feature is anything to go by, we're all guilty of posting absolute rubbish on social media.

Sometimes we recognise our past selves in the post and other times we can't believe we were the individuals responsible for that drivel, but thankfully we're rarely asked to account for ourselves.

Blake Shelton, on the other hand, has had a lot of explaining to do this week after tweets he posted between 2009 and 2011 have resurfaced – and gone viral.

Brought to public attention by @MusicFactsTea, fans of Gwen Stefani's boyfriend were a little stunned by the racist and homophobic undertones evident in the singer's tweets.

"Standing in line at a coffee shop in LA talking with the man in front of me. He orders a skinny caramel latte. I couldn’t tell he was gay!" Blake reportedly once tweeted.

"Wish the d*ckhead in the next room would either shut up or learn some English so I would at least know what he’s planning to bomb," he opined in another posting.

With social media users rushing to condemn the singer, Blake last night chose to issue a statement which attempts to explain away the questionable remarks.

"Everyone knows comedy has been a major part of my career and it's always been out there for anyone to see," he began in a post he shared on Twitter.

"That said anyone that knows me also knows that I have no tolerance for hate of any kind or form."

"Can my humor at times be inappropriate and immature? Yes. Hateful. Never," he insisted.

Finishing the statement with an apology, Blake concluded: "That said I deeply apologise to anybody who may have been offended."

We're not sure if that will be enough to placate furious Twitter users though…

We love Angels as much as the next girl – his pain walked down a one-way street, for crying out loud – but if we had £1.6 million to blow, we don't think we'd be spending it on Robbie Williams. (No offence, Rob)

Then again, £1.6 mil is a drop in the ocean to some people, so props to Russian oil magnate, Rashid Sardarov, who decided his little girl should be serenaded by Stoke on Trent's biggest export on the biggest day of her life.

According to Glamour, the Rock DJ singer was recently hired by Rashid to perform at his daughter Victoria's gothic-themed wedding to Anton Antonov at Prague Castle, and even Victoria Secret models found themselves a little starstruck.

Taking to Instagram to share a selfie she got with the dad-of-two, who is set to be recording new music with Take That in the near future, Sara Sampaio gushed: "He sang angels just to me #angelsinprague @robbiewilliams #nakedblack "

But if Robbie Williams, who recently bared all for Instagram, personally serenading individual guests sounds like the most surreal part of the ceremony which was said to cost £ 8 million, think again.

According to reports, wedding guests at the multi-million pound ceremony were served by wait staff sporting – wait for it – fangs and fake blood…yeah, we know.

We'd say the Let Me Entertain You Rob would have been all over that one…

He's a TV presenter, a designer and a stylist, so it's safe to say that Darren Kennedy knows a thing or two about the world of fashion.

The Dublin native was named Galaxy Style Ambassador and the Face of Dublin Fashion Festival last night, and with a host of achievements under his belt, we thought he was the best person to ask about how to break into the fashion industry.

With the Leaving Cert results out, and the CAO results on its way, it can be a hectic time for the best of us. There's numerous questions swirling around your head about what college and what course you'll get into, but if we took anything from Darren yesterday, it's that experience is invaluable in the fashion industry.

"Knock on doors, say hello, let people know what you're interested in and that you're trying to get out there.

"I think there's no replacing experience. Teaming up with people in the field who you admire is a great learning experience – and you need it to make it."

Darren also comments that once you do get in the door, you need to keep going and don't get lazy or give up.

"Once you get those opportunities, don't let yourself down. Over-deliver."

However, in an industry that's more hands-on than books-on, the style guru promises that making the connections – even on social media – will get you in the door.

"Have your eyes and ears open and follow the people you admire and would like to work with. It could be as simple as answering a tweet, or engaging in a conversation with them. You just have to be confident and make yourself known."

These days there's a big push on blogging and doing it all by yourself. And even though that's a great accomplishment, Darren suggest you'll have a better understanding of the industry if you work with people.

"Working on your own might be a long-term objective but you need to figure out how things are run. Getting to know people in the industry is invaluable.

"If you work on your own, especially when you're starting out, can be quite isolating in this field. And don't make assumptions about people, everyone is just trying to do their best."

And once you're in, the designer promises that you'll have a lot to look forward to.

"I love the people I get to meet… I work with some amazing people who are really passionate about the things they do.

"I get great insight into peoples lives and it can be nice to see them transform.

"And I love how it all changes. I work on so many projects so there's something new everyday."

And if you want to stand out, take inspiration from everywhere.

"I travel a lot and I'm based in London so for what it's worth, be inspired by your own surroundings."

To end, Darren encourages that you should just be yourself, follow people in the industry who have similar ideas to you, and work hard.

"If you want it, you'll make it. Always stay true to you."

According to emerging reports, Celebrity Big Brother bosses chose not to air distressing scenes involving Sam Fox on account of being 'genuinely concerned' for the 50-year-old's health and welfare.

This series of the long-running reality show has been widely considered one of its most controversial, and there's no doubt the high drama has taken its toll on some of the show's contestants – something which has raised alarm among show's producers.

Upon noticing that 80s popstar Sam appeared to be struggling, Big Brother called her to the diary room where she was ultimately treated by medics.

Speaking to the Daily Star, a Celebrity Big Brother insider explained: "Sam was not well at all. She was called to the diary room because they were concerned about her health."

"She had a full-blown panic attack. It got pretty serious and they were genuinely concerned," they continued.

In scenes which viewers were not shown, Sam, who has appeared in numerous reality shows including I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here,  was treated and given medication for her anxiety.

"Medics were sent in to make sure she was OK and not at serious risk," the insider revealed. "They even had to give her medication to help her calm down."

Celebrity Big Brother viewers will be aware the former popstar has been having difficulty while taking part in the now infamous reality television show.

We thought Mollie King and her ex-boyfriend David Gandy were #CoupleGoals, but when they broke up last January we let those goals slip away.

However, now it seems that Mollie is going after another very famous man, and his name is Calvin Harris.

It's not often a celeb will cancel their OWN show, but it looks like Amy Schumer has done just that.

The comedian spent much of yesterday on Twitter, tweeting about the comments that a writer, Kurt Metzger, made about her Comedy Central show, Inside Amy Schumer.

A photo posted by @amyschumer on

Kurt was called out after making some hurtful comments about rape victims, and Amy just wasn't taking it.

She wrote: "Kurt does not work for me. He is not a writer on my show. Please stop asking me about it. His words are not mine."

A photo posted by @amyschumer on

Of course, her fans were still in uproar and asked if Kurt got fired… But Amy's response was something nobody expected.

"I didn't fire Kurt. He isn't a writer for my show because we aren't making the show anymore. There are no writers for it."

Is this goodbye?

It looks like it’s still not time to say goodbye to Harry Potter and his wizarding friends as JK Rowling has announced the story isn’t finished yet.

With three more books to be written this year, Amazon have released the descriptions of the tales.

Set to be released as e-books, the three newest editions to the Harry Potter universe will explore the history of Hogwarts as well as give us more of an insight into some our favourite HP characters.

“J.K. Rowling’s writing in these collections reveals intricate details of her characters’ lives, their histories, as well as her inspiration,” Pottermore chief executive Susan Jurevics said in a statement.

The highly anticipated “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” is the first of three spin-off movies which is due to be released in November.

As a revered athlete and an Olympic medallist, it would seem Michael Phelps has little to be angry about, but when a recent photo of the US swimmer surfaced, we all realised how wrong we were.

After being snapped looking like a toddler who had been put on the bold step at a birthday party, Michael realised there's little he can do right now that won't catch the attention of the media and the wider public.

With the image circulating widely online and social media users offering their own (often hilarious) explanations for Michael's stinker of a glare, it seems like the swimmer suddenly realised he'd need to address it himself.

"I just had music going on in my head. I had thoughts going on in my head, spitting water a little bit all over the place, so I was in my own zone," he explained in a response which has many of us calling B-S.

With millions suggesting that Michael's glare was directed at rival swimmer, Chad le Clos, Michael shut down the rumours.

Speaking to Today, he insisted: "I was not intentionally mean mugging him or giving him a dirty look."

A likely story Michael, a likely story.
