Zayn Malik wasn’t the only former boy band member in attendance as Valentino unveiled their Spring Summer 2016 menswear collection in Paris on Wednesday.

Joe Jonas was also at the event, although he didn’t cause quite as much chaos with his fans outside the show.

The Italian brand described Zayn as “front row ready” on their Instagram page as he sported a smart knee-length jacket over a crisp white shirt and dress pants. The ex-One Direction star paired the fashionable look with his now bleached blonde hair.

Both Zayn and Joe were lucky enough to be sitting front row at the event and looked quite the street style icons as Joe chose a bold print for the major fashion occasion.

Following her split from husband Nick Cannon, it has now emerged that Mariah Carey has been quietly dating the fourth richest man in Australia, James Packer.

And according to one source who has been talking to Page Six, the billionaire has been courting his new girlfriend for months.

It was only reported a few days ago that the pair might actually be in a serious relationship, but lo and behold it appears their courtship is far from brand new.

Mr Packer is said to have made regular visits to the singer over the past number of months; he even went to see her on opening night when she began her Las Vegas residency, Mariah #1 To Infinity.

The source told Page Six that Mariah’s billionaire boyfriend parted with thousands of dollars to fill her hotel suite in Paris with flowers a few weeks ago. This hotel suite was in the Peninsula Hotel where the singer was shooting an editorial for Harper’s Bazaar.

The loved-up duo are currently on holidays together at the Cannes Lions festival where they have been spotted going to events together and enjoying the sun on his yacht (as you do).

According to TMZ, the couple are already discussing the possibility of tying the knot, which would be the third time for both of them.

It is reported that Mariah’s four-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, are joining them on James’ €45m super yacht.

“Maybe a fashion designer, but definitely not a model” this was the moment that Kate Moss’ daughter let the world know she has no interest in following in her Mum’s footsteps and getting into modelling.

Lila-Grace is the only child of Kate Moss with ex-boyfriend Jefferson Hack and she took to Ask.fm to answer some questions about herself and her mum.

The 12-year-old gave a little insight into her life as the daughter of one of the world’s most famous supermodels, and she seems like any other girl her age.

According to her answers, she seems extremely down to earth saying that her mum is just as “embarrassing” as all other mums.

She said: "No, like every mum she's embarrassing and annoying but u love them rlly"

She explained how Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez used to be her idols, but it seems Harry Styles is the only one with a place in her heart now.

When speaking about losing respect for Miley Lila answered "Wanted to b her before she became ….. She was my EVEYTHING for like 5 years and then..," adding a sad face.

Kate’s daughter let the world know that modelling isn’t for her and were sure this is a question she gets asked a lot she said she would rather be “a fashion designer idrk but defo not a model (sic)."

Not entirely sure why everyone is surprised by the latest dating app to hit the market.

There’s something for every kind of preference out in the big bad world of internet dating. From beard lovers to sailor lovers, even people with foot fetishes are being catered for. There was just one giant gaping hole in the market: a dating site for dog lovers.

Fear not! Tindog has arrived, and the ‘puppy love’ puns are only going to get worse.

Who hasn’t spent a Saturday night doing the Netflix and chill routine with their canine companion and thought, “If only me and Rover could find love online”.

Any good dog owner surely feels that obligation to ensure their four-legged friend finds their soulmate, did Lady and the Tramp teach you nothing?

And now, you can. Tindog is essentially the same as it’s more humanist sister app, except it’s targeted at dog owners. Get thee to the nearest Italian for spaghetti and meatballs, immediately.

Instead of spending hours swiping left or right trying to figure out who’s your match from a cryptic group profile photo, you get to stare at puppies all day. And night, if you’re so inclined.

Most of the users are going to be completely naked, fair warning. But that’s expected- they are dogs after all.

It feels like a winner for a lot of lonely souls with cute pooches out there, because who could swipe left on an adorable Husky pup? Or what about all the Pug lovers out there?

Doggie lovers are going to be all over this, we can feel it.

Founder and CEO (and absolute genius) Julien Muller said in a press release:

“Dogs bring so much joy and love, that they really have the power to connect us. That’s why we wanted to make it easy for dog lovers to meet new people.”

Just like Tinder, when Tindog users match, they can chat and arrange a pet play-date, or an actual date sans puppies.

But let’s be honest, there’s probably going to be a lot of guys borrowing their family pets for romantic strolls about town.

So it turns out that Miley Cyrus can’t claim she was responsible for making ‘twerk’ happen after all. Neither is Iggy Azalea actually. We bet they're pretty annoyed about that. 

New research from the Oxford English Dictionary has said that the use of the word actually goes back as far as the 1800s.

Having now revised it’s entry for the word, the OED describes twerking as dancing “in a sexually provocative manner, using thrusting movements of the bottom and hips while in  a low, squatting stance.” Good to know.

Also, it was previously spelled ‘twirk’, and the OED described it as a jerking movement, or a twitch.

Twerking isn’t the only word getting a revamp for the dictionary. While POTUS was already an entry, FLOTUS has also been added (First Lady of the United States). More proof that people just really love Michelle Obama perhaps?

More of our favourite phrases have been officially added, according to a blog post from the OED and it includes some of these gems:

Twitterati (noun): Users of the social networking service Twitter collectively, typically referring to the group of prolific contributors or those who have high numbers of followers. [2006]

Fo’ shizzle (adjective): This slang term originated in the language of rap and hip-hop and means ‘for sure’. [2001]

Freegan (noun): A person who eats discarded food, typically collected from the refuse of shops or restaurants, for ethical or ecological reasons [1997]. It can also be used as an adjective.

Hot mess (noun): A hot mess referred to ‘a warm meal, especially one served to a group’ in 1818, but now it is more commonly used as a slang term for something or someone in extreme confusion or disorder.

 

Meh (interjection): This interjection, expressing indifference or a lack of enthusiasm, was probably popularized by the cartoon series The Simpsons, but it was already in use online by 1992 – two years before it was used in the programme.

sext (n., 2001): a sexually explicit or suggestive message or image sent electronically, typically using a mobile phone. Back in the 1500s, when someone referred to a “sext,” they were talking about a Christian worship ritual that involved chanting around midday.

So now there’s a grammatically correct way to call out your cheap friend who happens to call over just after someone’s ordered a pizza, fabulous.

So you have the gorgeous new nail varnish, the top coat and all the other bits and bobs… but your nails are still short, broken and generally looking a bit crap. What's a gal to do?

Irish beauty blogger Deirdre Foley of Viva Adonis is a cosmetics addict and nail care fanatic, and we chased her down for a few tips on getting the perfect at-home manicure.

Here goes…

I've tried everything, but my nails just won't grow. What am I doing wrong?
As far as I can make out, nail growth is down to health, genes, and just a little bit of luck. Mine are generally okay – they grow faster in the summer, but can be a lot more brittle and thin come winter. The best strengthener I’ve used has to be OPI Nail Envy, €21.95 from Cloud10Beauty and Boots. This has been my base coat of choice for many years, and I always miss it when it runs out.

What’s the best nail routine to follow?
Good tools are a must – a glass file, clippers, and buffers. Hit up your local chemist or salon supplier like Terrisales, Flair or Sally’s to get the goods.

Soaking nails & cuticles in warm water and then using a cuticle remover like the gel one from Sally Hansen is a great way to make your nails look that little bit more tidy and groomed.  Regular use of Clarins hand cream & CND Solar Oil will also go a long way towards softer, healthier hands and nail beds.

I've been thinking about acrylics. Should I go for it or are they a big no-no?
They're fine the odd time. Too much of anything is rarely good news. I have friends that have been horribly addicted to acrylics, and the results haven’t been pretty. If your nails are in a serious state, it could be worth investing in the Micro Nail, an electronic buffer that will leave bare nails looking seriously shiny and healthy without the need for polish. Leaving nails bare for a while, with the odd top-up of Nail Envy or a similar product, should speed up the recovery process.

I love gel polish as you get the longevity without quite as much damage. A good Shellac or Gelish manicure shouldn’t punish nails too much – just remember not to pick it off! Make sure to get it removed professionally or else DIY with some acetone and tinfoil.

It certainly seems that Lauren Goodger has taken a firm break from her less-than-subtle social media feud with her former fiance, Mark Wright.

And while she's never been busier with work (and her body's never looked better), over the last couple of years her love-life has been something of a, well, roller-coaster. Not any more, however: she and her new beau Jake McLean appear to be the real deal.

Earlier this week, the reality TV star revealed that she's had his named tattooed on her wrist. Now Lauren has posted an extra special birthday message to her boyfriend on Instagram.

Calling him her "soul mate" – her fans quickly then posted their messages of joy and support. 

"You look amazing and so happy," said one, adding: "You look an amazing couple and so happy." Another fan stated: "You two make such a gorgeous couple I hope you have finally found your happiness hunn xx u deserve it."

Meanwhile, a third person declared: "You totally deserve this. You look stunning smiling as well. Hope you are really happy. Your such a strong woman. Keep doing what your doing xx."

Lauren and Jake previously dated for a year from October 2012. 

In the aftermath of their split, however, they weren't on good terms. Last September on Lauren's 28th birthday, the property developer appeared to upload an intimate-looking snap of Lauren posing in a leotard.

He then captioned the image with a cruel dig: "Ahhhh happy birthday to the biggest let down I no @LaurenGoodger keep it up girl your doing great #tramp."

At least the loved-up duo have now firmly put the past behind them.

Last night the crowds in Cork were treated to an amazing performance from Ellie Goulding at the Marquee.

And shortly afterwards, a local Garda couldn’t believe he was the lucky one who got to get Ellie into a pair of handcuffs.

After a most eventful night in Cork, the Starry Eyed singer took to Instagram to document her run-in with one of Ireland’s finest.

Always endeavouring to keep things of the highest professional standard, the official Garda Twitter account checked in to make sure Ellie was treated well.

Clearly the singer was doing just fine as she later shared a photograph from her room at the five star Haymarket Hotel (ooo, fancy).

Obviously delighted with her show, and not at all phased by her brush with the law, Ellie shared a photograph of her team before the gig and couldn’t stop talking about what a great time she was having.

Ellie has played here on numerous occasions and this time she even chose to debut her new pink hair while visiting.

We’re wondering though, what would Ellie do to get herself arrested? Or even better, how would she have gotten herself out of trouble?

Offering up a free snack box can apparently do wonders when in tricky situations. Or she probably just crooned a sweet little tune and strutted off into the night.

Maybe someday we’ll be enlightened by the lucky Garda himself, it’s sure to be a good one.

Iggy Azalea shocked fans last month when she suddenly announced that her two month long US arena tour was no more.

The tour, which was originally set to happen in April and May before being postponed until September, was cancelled entirely at the end of June. Iggy told fans of the news via Twitter, saying, "As u may know, the tour is cancelled. I'm so sad and sorry to let my fans down…we'll be back out on the road when the next album is done."

Considering the singer's career isn't exactly faltering – she won three Billboard Awards this year alone – many fans and friends have begun speculating about the real reason behind the cancellation, and if it could be due to the fact that Iggy is expecting her first child.

The Fancy hitmaker got engaged to her sports star boyfriend Nick Young recently after a year and a half together, and sources close to the star say her fiancé is keen for them to start a family as soon as possible.

"Nick made it very clear that if he and Iggy were going to marry, he wanted her to scale back on work," a source told OK! magazine. "Now her friends are buzzing that the real reason for the cancellation and the engagement is that Iggy’s pregnant."

With Nick wanting a traditional family unit, Iggy apparently wasn't "willing to gamble," the source says. "She’d take Nick over the tour any day."

So could a mini Iggy be on the way? We're not sure the world could handle it!

A new hashtag has taken over the world of Twitter and Instagram, and we love it!

#ThePowerofMakeUp has been used by thousands of women worldwide, posting pictures of themselves with half of their face covered in make-up.

The movement was started by 21-year-old  make-up artist, Nikkie De Jager, when she posted a video entitled: "the power of make-up". In it she explained that she has "been noticing a lot that girls have been almost ashamed to say they love makeup."

“Because these days [people assume] you either do it for boys, you do it because you’re insecure, or because you don’t love yourself… I feel like in a way lately it’s almost a crime to love doing your makeup.”

Thousands of women were inspired by Nikkie's video and are hitting back at those who shame them for wearing make up and those who tell them they wear make-up to impress other people.

Kids of the ‘90s rejoice! That’s right, it looks as if our favourite high school twins are making a comeback.

Brittany and Cynthia Daniel, who played Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield in the hit 1990’s show Sweet Valley High have revealed that they are interested in making a comeback.

Speaking to E! Brittany admitted that “there is some talk right now.” She then announced that the twin sisters are to begin talks with the author who wrote the books that the show was based on, Francine Pascal.

The show that centred on the high school students in the fictitious ‘Sweet Valley’ ran for four seasons between 1994 and 1997. Ms Daniel appreciates what a cultural icon they were for teens and kids of that generation.

“That series means so much to my sister and I and we want to bring that to our kids and the next generation. So it’s only natural for us to want to bring it back.

“For me, personally, because I’m not in the business so much anymore, I’m shocked that people still remember it. It’s amazing how many people still come up to us about it.”

Following the show Brittany continued to act, appearing in films such as White Chicks and Joe Dirt. Cynthia left the industry in 1995 to pursue other ventures, although she did make the odd on-screen performance from time to time.

Is this just the best birthday present or what?

Mindy Kaling knows exactly how to celebrate her birthday in comfort. The Office star marked her 36th birthday by having a pyjama party and watching the horror flick, It Follows with a bunch of friends and a whole load of McDonald’s.

 

 

Part of my birthday is we got to wear pajamas and we are watching It Follows at lunch.

This sounds like the perfect birthday party to us!

And what present did the actress really want for her birthday? Why, a Dubsmash from friend Lena Dunham, of course!

Mindy tweeted her special request saying “I would also love a dubsmash of @lenadunham doing a portion of @tomhanks iconic “there’s no crying in baseball” speech.”

Sure enough, the talented  Ms Dunham obliged.

But it wasn’t all about Ms Kaling as the kind-hearted writer also tweeted asking fans what their favourite charities were so as that she could donate to them.

“For my birthday I’d like to go shopping. What are your favourite charitable organizations and why? Tweet me link & I will give!”

This is just so sweet! All in all, this sounds like a seriously great birthday to us.
