Former Skins actress Kaya Scodelario got engaged to boyfriend Benjamin Walker over Christmas, but had yet to properly show off her gorgeous ring until now.

The 22-year-old met her fiancé last year on the set of their film The Moon and the Stars, and in a new interview she revealed that they hit it off after just two months. "We were originally friends, then after two months of shooting, we both said, 'Ok, I really like you.'" she told InStyle magazine.

Kaya, who now lives with Benjamin in New York, took to Instagram earlier this week to treat followers to two close-up shots of her stunning diamond. The first photo was captioned, "After 3 months in the Scorch my nails have finally had some good TLC thanks @primpnpolish for making me feel human again!!"

Eh… Kaya, no need to pretend you're just showing off your manicure…

She also posted this side-on view featuring the word "Ben" tattooed on her ring finger:

Despite living together in the US, Kaya revealed that her and Ben struggle to get quality couple time as they both work in different locations for much of the year. "We spend so much time apart it's great to get a stretch of time together," she admitted.

This will be Ben's second chance at a happy ever after – before meeting Kaya he was married to Meryl Streep's daughter Mamie Gummer for two years, while Kaya was in a long-term relationship with Shameless star Eliott Tittensor.

We wish the two lovebirds all the best!

First there were ‘no make-up’ selfies to support breast cancer and the water bucket challenge to raise money for ALS, now there is a new selfie trend!

Celebrities such as Georgia May Jagger have now joined the #SmearForSmear social media campaign, which was started by UK charity, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust in a bid to urge women to undergo smear tests.

The move comes as the European Cervical Prevention Week is in full swing, with women across Ireland being urged to undergo a smear test. Cervical cancer is the second most common female cancer in Europe, with over 300 cases diagnosed in Ireland each year.

Cervical Check Ireland have also launched their #ShareTheWisdom campaign, urging women to encourage one another to go for a smear test.

Bruce Jenner's image has been the subject of intense speculation for months, with more and more reports emerging that he is transitioning to life as a woman.

Now it has been revealed that the KUWTK father will discuss his personal journey on a new docuseries which is currently being filmed.

The star is working with E! to create a new show, which according to TMZ will include interaction with his children, stepchildren and ex-wife Kris Jenner.

The news comes just days after Kim Kardashian spoke openly about the fact that she and her family "support Bruce one hundred percent". However a source close to the new E! show has said that Kris Jenner "lost it" when her ex-husband finally told her about his wish to live life as a woman.

The show is described as "a very personal look from Bruce's vantage point of the process of changing."

No doubt Bruce will welcome the chance to voice his own opinions and feelings rather than allowing the media to speculate further. Earlier this month the 65-year-old was seen looking distressed and close to tears after US magazine InTouch published a Photoshopped cover showing his face superimposed onto that of a female actress, along with unfounded information about his gender change.

The former Olympian will also appear on the tenth series of KUWTK which airs this spring.

Fans of ITV's period drama Downton Abbey will be gutted to hear that the show is reportedly set to end this year.

The show's main writer, Julian Fellowes, is apparently going to leave the UK to work on a new project based in 19th century New York. While nothing has been confirmed yet, one source said that it's an "open secret" this this will be Downton's last year.

Cast members have already begun looking for work elsewhere, with many of their agents hitting the Screen Actors Guild Awards in LA last Sunday to scout for new opportunities for them.

"Some of the actors are keen to let it be known they will be available for work after the summer," said the source. “Joanne Froggatt, Edith Carmichael and Allen Leech were in Los Angeles for the awards last week and there were several meetings about both TV and film roles."

Joanne in particular should have no trouble finding work in the US, having just won a Golden Globe for her role as Anna on the show.

The sixth – and possibly final – series will begin filming soon and will air on ITV this September.

How I Met Your Mother actress Cobie Smulders broke some exciting news on the red carpet earlier this week!

The star, best known for her role as Robin Scherbatsky on the long-running show, appeared at Sundance Film Festival where she casually mentioned to reporters that her three-week old baby was waiting for her at home. Cobie was at the festival to promote her upcoming film Unexpected when she revealed the happy news.

"I'm in Sundance and I have a 3-week-old baby, so I can certainly relate," Cobie said during a discussion about the film's motherhood theme. "It's my world at the moment, and it's just so prevalent in the world today."

Cobie was looking fabulous just weeks after giving birth, wearing a casual skater skirt and loose tee with brogues.

The actress and her comedian husband Taran Killam announced last October that they were expecting their second child. The couple married in September 2012 and have one daughter together, five-year-old Shaelyn Cado.

Although Cobie didn't reveal the sex of her new little one, she had mentioned before giving birth that her and Taran were keen for it to be a "surprise" for them. And a surprise for us too, whenever we find out!

Can you imagine getting into the shower every day and NOT rinsing your hair through with a lovely smelling shampoo? Neither can we but it is becoming more common as increasing numbers of women (and men, of course!) are leaving the shampoo and conditioner behind.

As many of us become aware of what we are putting in and on our bodies, more and more people are turning away from traditional hair care products, opting instead for more natural alternatives, or simply just water!

So, what happens when you leave shampoo and conditioner behind? Is your hair a massive, smelly ball of grease like you imagine it would be? As it turns out, that couldn’t be further from the truth…

From checking out bloggers that have quit shampoo, like the Hairpin, the friskyLittleOwlCrunchyMomma, Treehugger and loads more, it looks like while your hair may go through a period of ‘greasiness’ as it gets used to be being product free, once the PH balances itself, it becomes strong and healthy.

It would appear that once the natural oils of your hair take hold once and for all, your hair becomes softer, more manageable and a lot less frizzy.

Many of those who do not use shampoo instead use a mixture of baking soda and cider vinegar, though many opt just for water too.

Would you forego your shampoo routine and try the natural way? We’re intrigued!

It’s not very often that Perrie Edwards shows off the engagement ring given to her by One Direction’s Zayn Malik.

The Little Mix star shared a photo of her stunning engagement ring complaining that a bath bomb had dyed her hand purple: “That shi** moment your bath bomb dyes your hand purple!”

We feel your pain, Perrie…

Perrie and Zayn have been quiet about their engagement for the past few months, simply saying they haven’t gotten around to planning a wedding yet. This may come as no surprise given that One Direction remain to be one of the biggest bands in the world while Little Mix are currently in America.

Perrie and Zayn have been together since her stint on The X Factor back in 2012 and have been engaged since 2013.

We just love her engagement ring – a classic!

Don't get us wrong, we love our boobs. But, as larger-breasted ladies will know, dealing with ample bosoms on an everyday basis is like a job in itself.

How to dress them, how to reign them in, how to show them off – it's a delicate art!

Here are a few of the problems you'll identify with if you've been blessed with a chest!

1. Wearing a button down shirt with nothing over it is never an option
Unless you want to show the world your bra through a gaping hole between the third and fourth button. As for buttons popping off – don't even get us started!

2. Buying a new bikini takes at least three hours of back-and-forth to the changing room
"Can I have the bottoms in a 12 and the top in a 16, please? NO, definitely not the bandeau one."

3. A low cut top or dress always runs the risk of looking just a BIT too sexual
Oh V-necks, must you plunge so low?

4. As for backless dresses, they are but a pipe dream.
Ain't no hiding that D-cup bra. We salute Kim K's bravery but we're not sure our washed out bra would look quite so classy!

5. Any time your cleavage is remotely exposed it draws mens' eyes like moths to a flame
Ah lads, come on. Eyes up here!

6. Anything high-necked is an automatic contender for Shelf Boob
"Oh, great. It looks like I have a couch cushion stuffed up my top."

7. Finding a bra that fits is a constant struggle
Too big and it sags, too small and you're looking at a whole lotta Quadboob. Someone really should have warned Britney…

8. Unexpected running is always seriously awkward
Unless your ladies are tucked into a sports bra, that jog for the bus is going to result in some serious boob swinging.

9. You want to take your bra off when you get home, but are always worried someone might call over unexpectedly
"Oh, excuse me while I gather up my low-hanging boobs… I wasn't expecting visitors."

Earlier this week, Benedict Cumberbatch was forced to make an apology after he referred to black actors as ‘coloured’ – sparking outrage online and in the media. The term is considrerd outdated and offensive, which Benedict acknowledged in his apology later that day.

Now, Benedict’s friend and fellow British actor, David Oyelowo has come to his defence, telling The Big Issue that the entire this is ‘nonsensical’: “You only have to look at the point Benedict was making to realise that to accuse him of racism, to accuse him of anything other than a beautiful gesture is absolutely ridiculous and nonsensical.”

The Selma actor went on to say that to brand Benedict’s message as ‘racist’ completely obscured the message he had been trying to make in the first place: “He has no dog in that fight. He is one of the premier white actors, not just in the UK, but in the world. And he has done something truly beautiful in saying this situation isn't right. To attack him for that is so self-defeating. It obscures the message. It saddens me.”

Do you agree with how people reacted to Benedict's words?

She may be well assured that the hackers don’t have any nude photos to release – but we hope Taylor isn’t too worried about her private conversations!

Yesterday, the singer’s Twitter account was hacked and the hackers later threatened to release nude photos of Taylor, though she later tweeted: “PS any hackers saying they have ‘nudes’? Psssh you’d love that wouldn’t you! Have fun photoshopping cause you got NOTHING.”

However, it seems that the hackers are hell-bent on getting at Taylor somehow, and have leaked screenshots of her private conversations from her Twitter account.

Those hoping for some serious revelations could be in for disappointment however, as Taylor’s DMs prove to be oh so very…Taylor!

The pop star can be seen planning to meet up with Nick Jonas in a very friendly way, asking him: ‘Are we bad kids now?’ while her fans will be delighted to hear that she is also good friends with YouTube star, Pew Die Pie and can be seen chatting with him on the social media channel.

Puns about whales and in general proving how nice we all already knew she was, we think these hackers better concentrate on someone worth their while. Or, you know, give up completely!

NYX Cosmetics have taken the world by storm and their arrival in Ireland a few months ago has drawn serious attention from make-up lovers and beauty bloggers all over the country.

NYX blushers are a thing of serious beauty and can give you that healthy complexion and radiant glow that we all want leaving the house in the mornings! Or indeed, in the evenings…

However, many of us can be a little wary when it comes to using blush on our cheeks – where exactly should you apply it and what colour is best for your skin tone?

Now, NYX have shared some of their ultimate tips to ensure that you rock the blusher look:

  •  To apply to your cheeks, smile at yourself in the mirror and dot on the apples of your cheeks. Use your blusher brush or finger to blend towards the temples to give a subtle, sculpted glow. It’s important to apply high up on the apple of your cheeks so that your cheek looks lifted.
  • Avoid applying blush high up on the cheek bones, this area is for bronzer and blush will only create a longer face and shorten your forehead.
  • Always make sure you tap off any excess blush so you don’t apply too much on the cheek.
  • Try choose a shade that matches your cheeks when flushed or pick a hue that matches your lip colour so you ensure your cheeks look naturally blushed and not overdone. The NYX Cosmetics Blush in Angel, €7.49 is a shade that looks stunning on all skin tones.
  • Powder blushes are amazing for women prone to oily skin.
  • When choosing a blush or bronzer it’s important to find one that will illuminate the skin. Pastels, such as pretty peaches like the NYX Cosmetics Powder Blush Peach, €7.49 will brighten up your skin and highlight your face in all the right places.
  • For first time blushers, start off with a light pink or coral pigment like NYX Cosmetics Powder Blush Pinched, €7.49 and if you want something brighter go with a rose colour or deeper plum shade like the NYX Cosmetics Powder Blush Rose Garden, €7.49 if your skin tone is more sallow and warmer in tones.

NYX's blushers come in a range of colours and tones to suit everyone – our trouble is choosing just one!
