The daily ritual of applying make-up can get quite tedious and the fact that we may be putting it on in the wrong order just makes things worse.

Here is the right way to put on your makeup:

Step one: Primer or moisturiser
You don’t need to apply both a primer and a moisturiser. Choose one or the other.

Step two: Apply your foundation
Putting your foundation on first will create a canvas for the rest of your makeup.

Step three: Conceal your blemishes
If your foundation doesn’t provide enough coverage only then do you need to apply concealer.

Step four: Loose powder
Your powder will set your foundation and keep it there all day.

Step five: Eyes
When doing your eyes, start off with your eyeshadow, then move on to your liner and apply your mascara last.

Step six: Lips
This should go balm, lip liner, lipstick and then gloss.

Step seven: Blush
Blush should always be last as it brings the lips and eyes together.

Kourtney K has been posting pictures of her impressive Calabasas home on Instagram for some time now.

However, having finally finished the decorating, Kourtney is bored already and has decided to put her home on the market.

The decor is very Alice in Wonderland, with vibrant colours and patterns. It’s hard to know if this will make the house easy or hard to sell – only time will tell.

Have a look at the unconventional interior design and tell us what you think!

Letting a guy know you’re into him isn’t the easiest thing in the world, but with the right tricks, you can let him know you want him without actually saying it out loud – God forbid it ever comes to that, right?

A trick that never fails is eye contact. Now, we’re not talking about a second-long glance at his general eye area – you’re going to need to make a bit of an effort. Just don’t give him crazy eyes.

If you’re both in a public place, make sure he sees you checking him out. When he catches you in the act, give him a flirtatious smile and then look away once he smiles back (if he does, you’ve got your foot in the door).

The next thing is to give him a few compliments – yes, men like compliments too. If you think he has a nice voice, tell him.

Body language is more important than you think and giving him the wrong signals might send him in the wrong direction. Rather than crossing your arms in an unapproachable manner, relax a little and let them rest at your sides. If you want to be a little daring, stand really close to him to as you speak!

The power couple were added to the line up on Sunday night and fans will no doubt be anticipating the performance of a lifetime.

While Jay-Z is up for nine nominations, his partner won’t be seeing any statues this year as her new album wasn’t released on time. Oh well, there is always next year Bey – if you have any room left on your shelves that is!

Other stars set to perform at the awards ceremony include Lorde, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Daft Punk. It has also been speculated that Madonna may also make an appearance.

Lobster, mmm. We’re excited.

The successful restaurant, Rock Lobster, has left its Donnybrook location and is looking for pastures new in the capital’s city centre.

Rock Lobster in Dundrum Town Centre’s Harvey Nichols has experienced great success since its opening in December, which we were very excited about.

Speaking about the move, owner Niall Sabongi says; “We’re very excited about what’s ahead … we know what our customers love, and the success of our association with Harvey Nichols had just reinforced the importance of having the best possible location. Donnybrook has been good to us, but the city is where we want to be now”.

Can’t wait to have this great restaurant on our doorsteps!

It’s easy to lose concentration as the day progresses. You might feel like you aren’t able to concentrate as well as you did that morning and in some cases, you’ll find yourself becoming more forgetful.

Eating the right foods can improve your body physically and mentally. To boost your energy levels and brain power, check out a few foods that you can nibble on to keep you going:

Carrots
Carrots contain a substance called luteolin, which helps with memory loss. As well as being good for your eyes, they are also great for brain health. Carry a packet of carrot sticks the next time you’re out and about.

Berries
Berries are known to reduce the chances of dementia. Blueberries in particular help increase your memory power for longer periods of time. They’re great to have with yoghurt or cereal.

Pumpkin seeds
The high levels of zinc in pumpkin seeds means you will have better thinking skills and an enhanced memory. Never a bad idea to carry a few of these around with you.

Fresh herbs add a touch of colour and a subtle sweet smell to your kitchen and are also great to have on hand when cooking.

If you’re like us and terrible at keeping green things alive, here are the four easiest herbs to grow.

1. Mint
Mint can grow fast, so it’s best to keep it in a separate pot to the rest of the herbs. A bit of maintenance is required to grow mint; however it does not require too much light, which makes it perfect for an Irish kitchen.

2. Chives
Chives do not need much light to grow and are easy to maintain.

3. Basil
It’s best to grow basil in the summer months as it requires several hours of sunlight to thrive.

4. Parsley
Parsley can be slow to take off, but once it does it won’t need much light or maintenance.

It’s a sad time for Coronation St. fans this week as popular character Hayley Cropper is killed off.

Diagnosed with terminal cancer, Hayley decides to take matters into her own hands rather than suffer further and kills herself by drinking a cocktail of drugs.

The episode has not been without its critics, however, as it has been claimed that the show shied away from the important details of the “right to die” campaign that is prevalent both here and in the UK at the moment. Although Hayley takes her own life, she does so alone, without the help of Roy, sparking some criticism.

Julie Hesmondhalgh has portrayed Hayley for fifteen years, first arriving in 1998 to the soap as a pre-operative male to female transgender.
