We’re not sure how we would react if we came across this creepy clown at night time.

But this bald, yellow-jumpsuit clown has been spotted numerous times by New York City residents.  The scary clown has been seen each time in the same gear and holding a bouquet of balloons.

No one is exactly sure whose behind the clown costume but some have suggested it could be a marketing ploy for a production company which produces horror films.

Marketing ploy or not, its definitely creepy

1. Walking in heels
Men out there may not know this, but, women can generally walk better in heels when drunk. Heels make your legs look amazing, so, ever wondered why we don’t wear the sky scrappers during the day? It is because they cause a lot of pain. But, when vodka hits our lips, we can strut down Harcourt street like we’re at London Fashion Week.

2. Singing karaoke
You’re probably thinking you would definitely do this sober but you really wouldn’t. Not properly. The courage and momentum drink supplies us with can make a terrible singer stand up and sing a Whitney Houston track like the woman herself. In our drunk memory, of course.

3. Slutty Dancing
It is hard to watch and if you could look back on it you would die.

4. Wearing oversized glasses and clothing
When you find items on a night out that are definitely from the joke shop, they’re like gold dust. You take those oversized glasses and you put them on like they’re the world’s greatest treasure. Then, you refuse to take them off for the rest of the night.

5. Deep meaningful conversations
You wouldn’t get into half as many DMC’s on a night out if you removed alcohol from the situation. Talking about your emotions and feelings is not the way to fill an evening on the tiles, but it can be therapeutic and also the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Or not.

6. Doing the splits
Remember one must be classically trained in this sort of thing or it will end very badly.

7. Sleeping in odd places
Under a table, in a wardrobe, in the hot press, – weird stuff can happen when you have had the one too many.

8. Going to the toilet with someone you only sort of know
If you were sober and shopping in the Ilac centre and some random girl you’ve met twice, but know from Facebook stalking, came up to you and asked if you could share a toilet, it would be very strange and awkward. But drunk? Hell yes I will!

9. Writing bitchy Facebook mails/texts/emails
Writing an offensive message to anyone when drunk is never going to end well. Especially if they have done nothing wrong or you are as sweet as pie to them when your sober. You wouldn’t do it sober, so don’t do it now.

10. Sleazing on someone you don’t fancy whatsoever
The beer goggles are on and you get yourself into a situation with someone you never would have considered getting with. Maybe it will work out well for you or maybe it is your friend’s ex. Either way tread with caution.

11. Buying endless rounds of drinks
You’re no Hugh Hefner. You are no Bill Gates. So, why flaunt that Visa Debit card around like it is an American Express Black card. You aren’t very generous when you are sober, so, just bring out cash the next time.

12. Making over the top arrangements
“If I’m 40 and your 40 and we are both still single…let’s get married.” Did this actually just happen?

13. Making concrete plans with people you hardly speak to
So many plans and you are never ever going to keep them. Just try and avoid these situations as much as possible.

14. Carrying home a souvenir
A potential traffic cone or danger sign will suffice.

15. Telling your taxi man your life story
When sober, many of us find it difficult and awkward to talk to taxi men, but when drunk, we are their best friend for life.

How you shape your eyebrows can either make or break you. While it may seem easy, many, many people are still managing to get it wrong.

Using a magnifying mirror
If you have to use a magnifying mirror to see the little hairs, you don’t need to pluck. Remember, people will be looking at you through the naked eye. Over-plucking leads to thin, sparse brows that don’t look good

Getting the arch wrong
Angle a pen from the bridge of your nose up to your iris to find your arch.

Tweezing above the brow
Only plunk under the arch and never go above it – no matter how much you may want to.

Try to make them look the same
Your eyebrows are not identical, so don’t try to make then look the same. If you do, you will lose the natural shape and end up with brows that look a little bit strange.

Choosing black brow make-up
If you need to fill in your brows make sure you choose the right colour. If you are fair, go for a colour that is one shade darker than your hair and if you are dark go one shade lighter. Never, ever choose black.

Remember, plucking your eyebrows is an art form that needs to be mastered.

There is something about macaroons that delight us ladies. It might be the colours, the light taste or the delicate appearance. Either way, we can’t get enough!

Macaroons also have a reputation for being very difficult to make. While they are no mugcake, they really aren’t that bad and with some practice, you’ll be a macaroon connoisseur in no time!

Why not impress your girls and make them some macaroons?

What you’ll need:

For the shells

  • 130g icing sugar
  • 115g caster sugar
  • 4 large egg whites
  • 120g ground almonds
  • pinch of salt
  • Food colouring of your choice (be sparing!)

For the filling

  • Butter
  • Icing sugar

What you’ll need to do:

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Sieve the icing sugar and almonds into a large bowl.
  3. Using a mixer, whiz the egg whites, caster sugar and salt until the mixture forms stiff peaks.
  4. Add any food colouring you are using.
  5. Slowly and steadily, fold the almond and sugar mixture into the egg whites. This should take a while if you are working slowly enough.
  6. Place the mixture into a pipe and create consistent, small, round shapes onto the baking tray.
  7. Bang the tray once on the counter to settle the macaroons.
  8. Leave the macaroons at room temperature for 15-20mins.
  9. Bake for 15-20mins.
  10. Combine the butter and icing sugar to make the butter-cream and spread it in between each macaroon once they are cooled.

Our favourite family band are back and have returned with a bang.

The band Crystal Swing which features mother Mary Murray-Burke and her children Dervla and Derek Burke have a released new music video to Ricky Martin’s famous tune, Livin La Vida Loca.

The family band are dressed glamorously while covering the famous hit in what appears to be a Bond-themed take down.

It’s definitely one of those things that has to be seen to be believed, but still worth the watch.

It’s one thing being engaged, it’s an entirely other thing being married.

Before you make the decision to walk up the aisle, there are some important factors to consider to ensure you are making the right decision for you.

1. Are you ready?
Are you ready to be attached to somebody for the rest of your life? To take on their family as well as your own?

2. Is he ready?
Is he doing this for the right reasons and not just because it is what he feels he should be doing at this stage in life?

3. Do you want the same things?
If he wants kids and you don’t, or vice versa, you may need to have a serious discussion before making any big life changes.

4. Is it realistic?
Do you have the means and maturity to be a married couple?

5. Do you want the marriage, or just the wedding?
Weddings are fun and everyone loves the attention on their big day, but are you ready for what comes after that too? We’re looking at you, Kim K.

6. Are you willing to be honest with this person for the rest of your life?
A marriage is based on love, honesty and communication, after all!

7. Is he the one for you?
Don’t ignore your heart. You’ll never regret following it.

8. Why did you say yes?
Look back to your engagement and see if the reasons you said yes are still applicable for saying I do.

Thylane Blondeau is only 13 years-old and her name is already a controversial one thanks to her Vogue spread.

In 2011, Thylane, then only 10 years-old, featured in one of Carine Roitfield’s last issues of Vogue Paris in a Tom Ford edition.

The spread caused massive controversy as it featured the young girl in heavy make-up, designer adult clothes, heels, diamonds and gold.

The photos angered people who believed it sexualised children.

Thylane has now grabbed her second magazine cover (she also starred on Vogue Enfants) featuring on the front of the French fashion book, Jalouse.

The magazine call Thylane the “new Kate Moss” as well as adding the hashtag #bornin2001. Talk about rubbing it in!

Thylane’s new cover features her in significantly more age appropriate clothing and no obvious make-up.

The question remains, how young is too young for modelling? There is no doubt that Thylane has a huge career ahead of her in the fashion world, but why the need to start so early?
