free food

Brace yourself for a delicious weekend because we have an insider tip for all the foodies out there.

Krispy Kreme is giving away free doughnuts this weekend.

Yes, they are completely free of charge and just as delicious as the kind you pay for.

The spur of the moment giveaway is in honour of Krispy Kreme’s new store opening on September 26th in Blanchardstown.

It seems they want to give the public a preview of their scrumptious treats.

Doughnuts have been all the rage in Dublin, and we can’t think of a tastier trend to get behind.

So, where will they be handing out the free food?

In the city centre of course. Word on the street is Krispy Kreme will open a secret hotlight hatch, according to The Sun.

For three days, Friday, Aug 10th- Sunday, August 12th, the doughnut giveaway will take place on 57 South William St. Their opening hours will be 10am-10pm on Friday and Saturday, and between 10 am and 6 pm on Sunday.

Basically, when the hotlight comes on, get ready for some hot, glazed original doughnuts.

These mouth-watering doughy delights are impossible to say no to. The key is to get them when they’re warm, and you won’t be disappointed.

And if you are a true Krispy fanatic share your doughnut selfie and tag @KrispyKremeIRL and #TheOGisComing.

You will be entered into a draw for the chance to win exclusive entry to the Krispy Kreme VIP opening night in Blanchardstown Centre, according to the store’s spokesperson.

So, when you are out on the town this weekend, make sure you and your friends stop by the hotlight pop-up for some free, melt-in-your-mouth doughnuts.

We'll eat to that!

Eimears and Eamons of the world, rejoice!

In celebration of the uniquely Irish names, one Dublin pub is offering all those that bare them a free lunch from 10am to 3:30pm every day this week.

The Back Page pub in Phibsborough, Dublin, took to Facebook to make the announcement.

The post reads: “Is your name Eimear or Eamon? If so, you're in luck this week. Anyone whose first name is Eimear or Eamon – and who has the photo ID to prove it – can get a free breakfast/brunch/lunch on us.”

“Cafe open from 10am to 3:30pm every day, get tagging.”

It looks like these guys are making their way through the alphabet, (last week was Deirdre and Dermot), so make sure to like the page to see if your name pops up.

We guessing there's a lot of Fionas and Fergals out there eagerly awaiting next week's big reveal.

Imagine having FREE McDonald's for the rest of your life?

You could have all the Big Macs, McNuggets and McFlurries you wanted. It seems like a nice dream, but in fact, the McDonald's gold card is practically impossible to get your hands on.

The card, which gives you access to free food, is only given to elite members of society – like Bill Gates and Rob Low who both have one over in the US.

Very few normal folk are able to get hold of one, except for one man, who was just about to eat a Big Mac when he saw a woman about to be kidnapped.

He rushed to her rescue, and because he had to leave his burger behind, McDonald's gave him the coveted card which entitled him to free McDonald's at all locations for a year and unlimited McDonald's for the rest of his life in his hometown of Ohio.

However, according to Mirror Online, nobody in the UK has one, so chances of someone in Ireland having one are slim… unless you're Bono. He probably has one…

If a tasty BBQ takes your fancy for lunch today, then look no further because this Dublin restaurant is giving it away for absolutely nothing.

Pitt Bros is celebrating it's new location on Millennium Walkway and took to Twitter to tell its fans about today's drool-worthy offer.

"From 1pm tomorrow (November 30) we're celebrating Pitt Bros new location on Millennium Walkway with FREE BBQ for all!

"We won't stop until the meat runs out."

Well, that's a good promise.

If we were you, we'd be quick, because that tasty grub is going to run out fast.

If you fancy a bit of free Mexican grub tomorrow, then you're in a lot of luck.

Zambrero is a new restaurant in Dublin, only opening it's doors to the public tomorrow – and they want you to enjoy free food all day.

Leinster rugby star Darragh Fanning has brought this deadly Meixcan franchise to Dublin and it's looking like it's going to be a good one.

The new restaurant is situated in The Station on Hatch Street, so head down from 10am to enjoy a burrito (or two).

And not only is the restaurant being totally sound giving out free food, there's a great cause behind it all. For every burrito or burrito bowl sold in Zambrero, it will donate a meal to the Plate4Plate programme for people in need.

Now, we just can't wait to get our munch ooon tomorrow.

FREE food? Where?! When?! How?!

If you're a doughnut lover like we are then you're going to be very happy about what's on offer tomorrow.

Then all you need to do is get yourself down to Aungier Danger or Boojum near Wexford Street to get your hands on some delicious treats.

Can it just be tomorrow already? We're gonna get our eat ooon
