Alexa Chung digs her nails into new style project
Style princess Alexa Chung is the new face of Nails Inc.
The 30-year-old model and TV presenter will collaborate with the UK-based brand on a six-shade collection of fabric-inspired nail polishes that are set to launch in August.
Alexa announced the news on Twitter, writing, ”This is a thing”, and attached the ad-snap of her clutching a huge bottle of varnish.
She then added, ”That’s a normal size bottle. I’m just really small…”
In June, customers will be given a sneak preview of the range when a limited-edition shade called Red Lace goes on sale at nailsinc.com.
Busy bee Alexa also plans to create her very first clothing collection later this year.
She said, ”That’s going to be the first opportunity where I haven’t had a nine-to-five job – I’ve been doing Eyeko, I wrote a book, I did Fuse every day, and various other design gigs and DJing.
”So this will be the first time to actually sort of sit down and think about it. I’m going to get it off the ground hopefully in 2014.”
Alexa admits she hasn’t gotten very far with her collection.
”For the first collection? Oh god I don’t even know… See, that’s why I need some time to think about it!”

Only earlier that day she had shared another image of her beautiful long blonde hair done in a pretty loose braid.

Signs that you are having a panic attack
Panic attacks are alot more common than people like to think. In fact, many of us could have a panic attack without actually knowing what’s really going.

Heart palpitations
Heart palpitations are a common symptom of panic attacks. Your heart may increase suddenly and start racing for no reason. Take deep breaths to clam yourself.
Feeling detached
If you are starting to feel like you are becoming a little detached from your surroundings tell someone. This can be feelings of isolation or simply feeling like the world is not real. When you start to feel like this, speak out and tell someone.
Shaking
Shaking is another sign that you are having a panic attack. This can range from feeling slightly dizzy or unsteady to severe trembling. Grab a seat before you fall down.
Sweating
Suddenly breaking out into a cold sweat is another sign that you are having a panic attack. Sit down, breath and try to relax.

Find a massive ceili session and make them drool for a Bulmers and ice. Take that!

How to write the perfect ‘Thank You’ note to make someone’s day
Sometimes, it’s the things that take a little bit of effort that make the sweetest gestures!
Has your BFF been there for you every step of a break-up, have you gotten the best pressie ever from your favourite aunt or did all your mates come to your party when you feared nobody would show?
Surprising them with a simple ‘Thank You’ note will probably make their day!
Here are a few tips on how to create the perfect one.
Better late than never
No matter how much time has passed, still send a note. Simply start by apologising that it took you so long.
Keep it simple
Skip cards that are already printed with ‘Thank You’ on the front in favour of a nice design. Select a simple block or script font and look for flat versus fold-over cards. This means there is less room to waffle on a bit, and instead leave a simple, but lovely message.
Don’t mention it
Don’t mention any amount of cash – for example ‘Thanks for the €50, I bought new shoes!’ Thank them for the ‘generous gift’ instead. On top of this, never admit you’ll be returning the gift! And don’t toot your own horn – ‘I’m just the kind of person who appreciates her friends’. A thank-you is about them, not you.
Hard Copy or digital?
Do you need to pen a card, or will an e-thanks do? Ask yourself how memorable you want your gesture to be. An email gets the point across, but something handwritten leaves a lasting impression.
Do the maths
Add up these six elements: Dear So-and-So + Thank You For The Gift Or Action + How You Enjoyed It (or plan to) + Something Nice About The Giver + A Desire to Catch Up Soon + Sign-Off = job done!
