Kourtney Kardashian had to flee to safety on Monday night after discovering that the house she bought off Keyshawn Johnson in January, for $8.5 million, was infested with a dangerous mould.

Kourtney hot footed it to the Montage hotel in Beverly Hills when her decorator discovered the problem after installing some fixtures in the house.

She says the mould was deliberately hidden under a coat of paint, and apparently she’s ready to sue whoever is responsible. But the former NFL player she bought the house from is claiming it had nothing to do with him. His lawyer released a statement on his behalf saying:

“There was no water damage to the house I sold to Ms. Kardashian. It is a new home that I built less than 10 years ago. It never had any water or mould problems.

“Prior to sale, the house was thoroughly inspected by excellent, experienced inspectors that they hired. I don't know what has transpired since they moved into the house but I wish them well.”

Toxic moulds can cause health problems such as asthma, and since Kourtney is pregnant, it’s a good job she noticed the problem and got out of there. However, it doesn’t look as though she’s letting the problem get her down – the star posted a snuggly photo of her and her kids snuggled up in bed on Monday night, captioning it: “Happy Monday!”

Whoever IS responsible should be glad they're dealing with Kourtney's family home and not Kim's – imagine what Kanye would do if this happened to his family?! His paranoia would reach a new high, no doubt!

Walter White and Jesse Pinkman left a lot of heartbroken fans behind when Breaking Bad ended last year, but here’s a little pick-me-up if you’re still missing the show.

Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul star in this brilliant parody video with Veep actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus, as a promo for the upcoming Emmy Awards.

The hilarious video features Bryan and Jesse in a satirical show called Barely Legal Pawn, which pokes fun at pawn-shop reality TV shows. In this spoof episode, Julia’s trying to get away with selling the guys her Emmy Award. We won’t ruin the ending for you – but it’s good!

Taylor Swift’s newest single Shake It Off was released last night, and though there’s already been some controversy online, we had a great little bop around to it in the SHEmazing! offices today.

The singer showcases loads of outfits in the new vid, and it’s not the first time she’s gone costume-crazy for a new single. We thought it was high time we took a look back at some of Tay’s best outfits from videos gone by, starting with a few from her newest offering:

1. Ballet chic in Shake It Off
Taylor rocks a Black Swan-esque look for one of the first outfits in the new video – though the moves are a little sexier than what you’d expect in your standard ballet class. We love the feathered tutu and slicked-back hair.

2. Sleek monochrome in Shake It Off
This look is the most wearable one in the video, for sure. A cropped blonde bob, red lips and an all-black outfit make for a gorgeous look on Taylor. Very sexy!

3. Gymnast with added glitter in Shake It Off
The purple and white sparkly dress is not one we’d choose ourselves, but Taylor wears it well… and adds some weird ribbon-dancing moves.

4. Slogan tee in 22
We love this look. The cool tee, black shorts and heart-shaped sunnies make a great summer outfit that we’d be totally at home in ourselves. As for the megaphone, well, why not? It was her birthday party, after all.

5. Sexy sequins in 22
Well, what’s a birthday party without a night out? Taylor goes all sultry in metallic and charcoal tones at the end of the 22 vid. She adds a little bit of Taylor-ness to the outfit, though, with a pair of cute cat ears.

6. Floaty summer style in Begin Again
This beautiful lilac dress looks stunning on Taylor – we hope she took it home when filming was over. The way the wind catches the fabric makes for an amazing shot here too.

7. Alt rocker in You Belong With Me
Okay, this might not be the most stylish outfit choice for Taylor, but we’ve always loved how willing the singer is to poke fun at herself. This look brings back memories of our secondary school years… though we like to think that our hair looked slightly better, at least.

8. Platinum and pastels in Our Song
This video was one of Taylor’s earlier releases. We have major envy for that pink phone! Platinum blonde hair is an unusual choice for the singer but she pulls it off.

9. Simple stripes in Last Time
Taylor’s outfit is classy and understated for this duet video with Gary Lightbody. The black and white striped tee is complemented perfectly by those high-waisted red shorts. We’d happily wear this on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

10. Circus master in Red
In the video for Red, filmed during the tour of the same name, Taylor blows all other outfits out of the park with this INCREDIBLE circus-themed outfit. We want this for our next fancy dress party!

Chris Pratt may be a big name in Hollywood these days, but things weren’t always quite so rosy for him, as he reminded his fans recently.

The Guardians of the Galaxy star posted a touching picture to his Facebook account, looking back at what life was like for him living in Hawaii before he shot to fame.

"Can't believe I found this picture," Chris captioned the image. "This is the van I used to live in!!!"

In the picture, Chris stands next to a white van with a Scooby-Doo mural painted on the side. The actor added that the paper he is holding is “the script for the movie that got me out of Maui.”

Chris lived in Hawaii after dropping out of college aged 17.

Although things can’t have been easy for him back then, in a recent interview he described those years as “a charming time,” adding that Hawaii is “a pretty awesome place to be homeless.” That’s definitely a positive way to look at it, Chris – we're not sure we’d be quite so optimistic ourselves!

The star was discovered by actor/director Rae Dawn Chong in 2000 while working at a Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurant in Maui. He had his first big role in a short film called Cursed Part 3.

“Originally the dream was to pay my bills doing nothing other than acting," Chris said in the interview. "I got there, but the dream is constantly evolving.”

Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch has been confirmed as the first big name for an exciting new project.

The actor will be voicing the evil tiger Shere Khan in Warner Bros.’ adaptation of The Jungle Book. Playing a man-eating tiger will be an easy task for Benedict – he’s faced worse human villains on Sherlock!

This will be Benedict’s second time working with director Andy Serkis. The pair also worked together on The Hobbit films, in which Benedict voiced the dastardly dragon Smaug. We do agree that he has the perfect voice for a bad-ass dragon or tiger!

The Warner Bros. version of The Jungle Book is not to be confused with the new Disney adaptation, which stars Idris Elba as Shere Khan.

Two Jungle Book films at once… confusing, much?! Our favourite still has to be the original Disney version. All together now, “When you pick a pawpaw, or a prickly pear…”

The internet has been overcome with Ice Bucket Challenge videos in recent weeks. Forget cat memes or food porn, now it’s all about throwing a bucket of ice water over your head.

The challenge is certainly for a good cause – raising awareness for ALS (commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease) and hopefully inspiring people to make a donation to an ALS charity. But are online campaigns like this one more about showing off to your followers and fans than actually wanting to help out?

The ALS Association would argue that it’s the latter, as they’ve collected over $15.6 million (€11.7 million) in donations since the challenge began gaining traction among big business names like Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates. Countless celebrities including Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift and even Oprah have also gotten in on the act. Sure, it’s gimmicky and exhibitionist, but it’s raising awareness and collecting cash.

The same is true for the #nomakeupselfie madness which took over Facebook back in March and April. Users were nominated by friends to post pictures of themselves without make-up, and to make a donation of €4 to a breast cancer charity. At the start, the idea seemed a bit ridiculous – show off how good you look without make-up and donate a few euro to charity. But soon it became clear that the campaign had really taken off. The Irish Cancer Society received over €1 million in donations, with more raised for cancer charities elsewhere in the world.

The real problem lies in the recent popularity of challenges that are no more than dangerous dares, such as Nek Nominations. The aim of this bizarre trend was to down a pint of beer on camera, and nominate your friends to do the same.

While supporters of the challenge argued it was just a bit of fun, things got totally out of hand with video posters going to extreme lengths to stand out. It’s one thing to throw back a glass of beer – it’s quite another to drink a pint of straight spirits just for kicks.

Nek Nominations really took a dark turn when it was reported that the deaths of two Irish men were linked to what they had done in their videos. The trend has since all but disappeared from social media but it is a stark reminder of how dangerous online challenges can be, as people compete to show off just how “brave” they are.

The use of social media has changed in recent years and it is now being used less and less as a way to interact with friends and instead as a way to connect with the world at large. The outcome is not always a positive one, so perhaps it’s best to stop and take a moment to think next time you share that “hilarious” video or picture of you doing something crazy.

We really hope Khloé Kardashian is doing ok!

The reality TV star shared a tweet a few moments ago reading only: “I miss you.”

While it isn’t clear who the message is aimed at, it could be a number of people, from her ex-husband, Lamar Odom, to her brother, Rob.

The star divorced her basketballer husband, Lamar, back in December, following a turbulent few months of marriage.

Khloé is no stranger to sharing cryptic messages on her social media account, recently posting a picture of a moon that read: “as long as there’s a moon i will always think of you.”

Could she be missing her ex-husband?

Khloé is currently dating rapper, French Montana, whose music she has recently starred in.

Whatever is going on with our favourite Kardashian sister, it’s very obvious she’s hurting and we hope she finds some peace soon!

We’ve been waiting patiently (ok, not so patiently) for this moment, and it is finally here.

Yes, everyone, David Beckham has completed the Ice Bucket Challenge. Topless.

The retired footballer shared the video with his Facebook friends and nominated Magic Johnson, Leo DiCaprio and Michael Jordan to face the ice water next.

We have to say, we’re a little disappointed he didn’t choose Victoria!

Wednesdays are officially the worst. Yes, even worse than Monday – who thought it possible. You are smack bang in the  middle of a work-week and it's dragging so bad. Here are some ways to make your hump day a little easier.

1. Whip Up A Great Breakfast

You're not as tired as you would be on a Monday so get up a little earlier and make yourself a tasty breakfast.

2. Dress To Impress

I know on a Monday morning the last thing most people feel like is doing a wardrobe edit and slipping in to something glitzy (ok maybe not glitzy), but honestly, start out the day by putting a little effort into your Hump Day look and you’ll feel so much better for it. Come 3pm you’re likely to be thanking yourself for not throwing on that hole ridden jumper.

3. Pump Out The Tunes

Stick in the headphones and bop along (subtly) to some happy songs. There’s nothing better than a little light, uplifting, musical entertainment, to distract you from your miserable self.

4. YouTube Animal Videos

The surefire way to happiness is half an hour spent watching the best the animal world has to offer. Whether it’s a dog passing out from happiness, a cat playing a keyboard or a pug coming down the stairs, you’re guaranteed a giggle or six.

5. Drink Caffeine By The Bucket-load

Mmm…coffee. Your too dehydrated on a Monday, so a Wednesday is perfect!

6. Go For A Creep

What better way to push through those midday meltdowns, than to distract your mind by gazing upon some luscious eye candy. Skip out for a quick breath of ‘fresh air’ and stroll near some office buildings to glance upon some babes in formal wear and shiny shoes. Failing that, ladies see above. (You’re pretty welcome).

7. Eat A Whopper Lunch

Feck the salad. It’s a Wednesday and we’re miserable. Get that gourmet (read: fattening) sandwich and enjoy every little bite. If you can eat it in a park where there will be pretty people to look at (see point 6), then even better.

8. Plan An Adventure

The mere thoughts of a great trip away, a day out or even a date with that weirdo off Tinder can all distract your mind from the most mundane of Hump Days. Never mind that report, hop onto Ryanair and see how far you could fly for €30. Bratislava anyone?

9. Rock Your Onesie

After a long (loooonnnngggg) day at work, you’ve survived and are now at home, collapsed on the bed. Congratulations, the most difficult portion of the week is over. The next step to joy? Shimmy out of your smart day clothes and straight into whatever killer onesie you own. Unless it’s dinosaur, unicorn or bird themed, then it’s far too serious and you’ll never be cheery.

10. (Pretend To) Be Loved Up

When all you want to do is smack the bus wanker in front of you who insists on shouting down the phone at his dentist, just dream of getting a nice hug/ spoon/ being told how loved you are, while wearing your afore-mentioned onesie. Or, join the more depressed portion of the population and watch rom coms with your cat and a large box of Quality Street. At least the cat can’t dump you.

11. Have An Early Night With Some Mushy Television

This is the final, yet vital step in ensuring that you squeeze the very best out of a rotten Wednesday. Filled with delicious food, fleeting glances of street babes and feeling really loved and looking totally sexy, take your laptop to bed and watch as much crappy, mindless television as your brain will allow. Then drift off towards that Friday and don’t forget to thank us in your dreams.

This dog doesn’t stop anything from getting in between him and his comfort, not even yours!

Louis is an adorable French Bulldog that was adopted by his owner as a rescue and he just can’t get enough of her.

Watch as she keeps moving her leg, and he moves with it. Not once does the little guy get frustrated or annoyed, making it all the cuter!

We need this little guy in our lives.

There was a lot of hype about mineral make-up when it first came out. It was perceived as being some kind of miracle make-up, presumably made from a mixture of fairy dust and sand from a mystical desert – a combination that would mean you stayed young and beautiful forever if you put it on your face….

Or not. But people were pretty impressed, and while mineral make-up does have many advantages, you shouldn’t abandon your old liquid foundation completely either. Here is everything you need to know about mineral make-up:

It’s not all natural
Using the word mineral makes it sound as though all the ingredients are natural, but this isn’t always the case. A lot of mineral make-up brands use bismuth oxychloride in their products, which is a man-made substance. This is what makes the make-up stick to your skin, and it also gives it that shimmery look.

Remember though, just because it isn’t natural doesn’t mean it’s bad for your skin (though it might irritate particularly sensitive skin), so there’s no need to abandon it for this reason.

Coverage
The best thing about mineral make-up is probably the fact that you can make it look as though you’re wearing no make-up at all, while still getting full coverage. Or if you’re going on a night out and you want to look more done up you can buff more of the powder onto your face without getting the same caked on look that liquid foundation can create. It’s also great for really pale skin as sometimes it can be hard to get a liquid foundation in a light enough shade. However, mineral make-up has been known to make wrinkles look more prominent, so it’s probably best for young skin.

Skin care
A lot of people believe that mineral make-up is better for your skin than liquid foundation, and it’s often recommended for people who suffer from rosacea as many brands contain titanium dioxide and zinc oxide which have anti-inflammatory benefits. However, there isn’t any scientific research to back this up so you shouldn’t take it for gospel.

If your liquid foundation is working for you, don’t let the mineral make-up brigade change your mind with tales of miracle cures and natural benefits. While it IS great (we have used it and loved it many times), remember that a lot of the hype is down to some very clever marketing.

Do you ever find yourself wishing there was some use for all your pent up rage?

Well, researchers have developed the technology to convert sound into energy for mobile phones – so you’re in luck!

You don’t have to actually scream, though louder sounds create more energy, but even loud cheers or noisy chatter in a restaurant could charge your phone.

The device is about the size of the Nokia Lumia 925, and revolves around rod-shaped generators sprayed with zinc oxide, which creates electricity when it is flattened or stretched.

Apparently this technology could soon be used to keep air conditioners going, aswell as computers and even buses and trains!

We’ve got to get ourselves one of these things – any excuse to shout!
