Taylor Swift is no stranger to negative press attention, but it seems the star has finally had enough of the media's portrayal of her and fellow female performers. In a revealing interview with Esquire, the 24-year-old singer has revealed that celebrities “have been pushed to the brink of a public meltdown.”

She believes that the negative attention lavished upon her has led to unwanted, and very frightening, male attention. “The sheer number of men who have showed up at my house, showed up at my moms house and threatened to either kill me, kidnap me, or marry me.”

Commenting on fellow singer Beyonce's relationship with the press, outspoken Taylor says: “She's incredibly talented, gorgeous, perfect role model for girls, empowering women all over the world. Yeah, but…let's try pick at her marriage.”

It's seems Taylor's 'crime' in the media's eye is her dating history, but the singer asserts she's no different to any other twenty-something searching for love. “I would date someone, figure out we weren't compatible and then we'd break up. That is my biggest scandal.”

Taylor has no intention of feeling sorry for herself, however. She mischievously adds: “I'm realistic about the fact that millions of people don't have time in their day to maintain a complex profile of who I am. They're busy with their work and their kids and their husband or boyfriend and their friends!”

Good to see that Taylor can make a joke of what must be a tough situation!

We do love a good morning coffee/sugar fix, but we still kinda hate the fact that Starbucks seems to have a global monopoly when it comes to hot beverages.

Whatever your opinion on Caramel Frappucinos and Toffee Nut Lattes, we bet you'll get a kick out of the coffee giant's latest promotion.

In an effort to boost sales over the Christmas period, Starbucks are launching a "Free Drinks for Life" Competition." Ten lucky Starbucks card users will apparently be surprised with the long-life prize sometime between December 2nd and Christmas Day.

A lifetime supply, by the way, actually only translates to 30 years of free drinks, but that's still pretty impressive. And just a little bit scary.

The competition is currently only open to customers in the US, but who knows, it may be extended to Europe too.

Think how far you could go with the Starbucks secret menu if you had those privileges! A Kit Kat Frapp for us, please. Or a Cinnamon Roll Frapp. Or a… The choices are endless!

Why is it we always end up needing to ball our eyes out in the worst possible places? It's never as easy as breaking down under your duvet – oh no, it's usually one of these inappropriate and uncomfortable gems:

1. In Work

It's never easy taking criticism and trying to fight that urge to bawl when you get in trouble is SO hard – but you need to do it.

2. In A Nightclub

Drink, girls and dancing can sometimes lead to tears – so look after yourself!

Unless there's a valid reason of course, tears in front of your SO's parents are best avoided.

Kylie Jenner is said to be dating Tyga – but if so then what is Jaden Smith’s new video about?!

Well, it would appear that it is very much about Kylie, that much is indisputable!

In the brand new music video, released by the singer yesterday, the two, who were rumoured to be together months ago, can be seen getting very close indeed.

The lyrics seem to tell a different story as Jaden laments: “I hope your man doesn’t get jealous … baby girl I can see underneath all these lies.”

Hmm, it sounds like someone is in love with Kylie – but is it unrequited?!

Perhaps! Kylie is currently in Paris with Tyga, who was once engaged to Kim Kardashian’s good friend, Blac Chyna. The couple have one child together.

There are a lot of things we tend to worry about – and a lot of them have to do with the way we present ourselves to the world.

It's easy to freak out when your supposed best friend posts that photo of you with the triple chin, but maybe it's time to let go a little and not sweat the small stuff so much.

Here are the 10 things we freak out about most (and shouldn't)

1. Texts we send

Oh no, what if they take that up wrong?! That's not how it was meant to sound – oh God oh God. It's gone now – no point in worrying, it's probably grrrand anyway!

2. Texts we receive

What does he mean by that?!

3. ‘…’

Silence can be deafening but often we assume a person isn't responding to our contact for some ridiculous reason when in reality they're probably out of battery.

4. Saying no

Whether it's to a guy or just something you don't feel like doing – don't feel guilty or worry about standing your ground! Peer pressure doesn't disappear after the teenage years unfortunately!

5. Compliments

Women are not good at accepting compliments. Be gracious and move on. And no, it wasn't backhanded!

6. What we order

Whether you really want the chips and order the salad or really want the salad but order the chips, remember that nobody is noticing what you eat except for YOU – so let it go and have whatever YOU want.

7. Hair removal

If he is turned off by the fact you forgot to shave your legs then it says a lot more about him than it does you doesn't it?

8. Sexual enjoyment

Sexual freedom is here and you may do whatever you please – go forth and be happy.

9. Someone else’s sarcastic comment or laughter

Sometimes people who work together or live together have very different senses of humour. One person makes a comment jokingly and the other can take that comment to mean that they are disliked by the other. All because they took the joke too seriously. Don’t always assume that people are constantly trying to bring you down. People probably aren’t talking about you and laughing at you behind your back.

10. Social media ‘likes’

Online jealousy is the most pointless thing in the world. You have your friends in the real world and you know they love you – so why care about what anybody else thinks? See, it makes no sense!

We all go through fleeting moments of thinking we need to lose weight, be it when your standard size doesn't fit in a certain shop, or your freshly dried jeans feel a bit too tight.

Usually it's purely psychological – unless the signs are a little more serious.

Your weight on the scales isn't the only indicator of how your body is doing – there are many other signs that can factor in, too. And in the same way someone who is overweight on the scales can be perfectly healthy, someone who registers as a normal weight can actually be unhealthy.

Here are some warning signs that you may need to drop a few pounds…

1. Your BMI is above the normal range
Your Body Mass Index (BMI) takes both your weight and height into account and so is a slightly more accurate reading of your health. With lots of free BMI calculators online you can get a result in seconds. Be aware that it still doesn't give the full story, and what's "normal" for some won't be the same for others. However, if your BMI is over 24.5 it could be worth checking in with your doctor for a more detailed examination.

2. You avoid mirrors
If you can't remember the last time you felt content to pose for a photo or glance in the mirror, think about what the underlying issue could be. If you have a feeling it might be linked to your weight, that's a telltale sign you're not comfortable in your skin. Of course, low self esteem and a negative body image often have nothing to do with your weight, but either way it could be time to reflect on why you're feeling that way.

3. You've become a bad sleeper
Some people sleep badly in general, but if you've noticed that you haven't woken up feeling rested in a long time, your weight could be the culprit. Excess weight can bring on a condition known as sleep apnea, where your breathing is constricted periodically throughout the night. The onset of heavy snoring is another symptom of this condition.

4. You have no energy
If you're constantly dreaming of your bed and are lacking in motivation and energy, could your weight be the problem? Being overweight can lead to internal inflammation, leaving you feeling tired more often than usual. If you're noticing that everyday tasks are tiring you out, it's time to consult a doctor.

5. Your waist measures 33 inches or more
Your stomach and waist are the most unhealthy places to carry excess fat, and can be a contributing factor in heart disease, cancer and diabetes. A high waist measurement is a sign that you could be carrying too much weight in that area.

6. You eat a lot, but you're always hungry
This could be related to one of two factors. One, you're simply eating the wrong food. Meals that are high in fat, sugar and salt but low in protein and fibre just won't keep you full, so you'll be craving a snack before you know it. Two, you could be at risk of a weight-related condition like Type 2 diabetes which can actually be reversed by dropping the pounds. If you suspect it's the latter, consult your doctor and don't ignore the signs!

Justin Bieber may want to look away right about now as his long-term on-off love Selena Gomez has been spotted with a new man…

However, this isn’t just any new man – it’s Orlando Bloom!

Selena and Orlando sparked rumours of a blossoming relationship earlier when they were spotted together and not too long after Orlando swung for Justin in a nightclub in Ibiza.

Now that Selena’s relationship with Justin is (once again) over it would seem she is hanging out with Orlando again.

Although it is true Orlando and Selena may be no more than friends – we think they would be so cute together!

They are both attending the We Day in Canada which Selena is hosting so perhaps their relationship can continue to, er, bloom! #sorrynotsorry

It is thought they were on their way to Canada when they were spotted together today.

Does anyone else feel like this Selena-Orlando-Justin-Miranda-Kendall maze is one we can never escape?!

You may have noticed the internet has gone into a frenzy about Renée Zellweger’s face this morning.

The actress made a rare appearance on the red carpet for ELLE’s 21st annual Women in Hollywood Awards in California yesterday.

Since her red carpet walk, social media has been frantic in questioning the actress' appearance and the extent to which plastic surgery has changed her face over the years.

Renée was accompanied on the red carpet by her boyfriend, Doyle Bramhall II with whom it has been rumoured Renée is planning on adopting a child with.

Whatever about her face – the REAL question is: will there be another Bridget Jones movie?!

Well, unfortunately, Renée has no idea – but she did say a third movie would be "fun" so at least there's hope!

Ironing is possibly the most boring chore on earth, but it is a necessary evil. You may have just rolled out of bed, but your clothes shouldn't look like they have too.

If ironing and pressing clothes is your pet hate, panic not – there are a few ways around it, that'll still leave your clothes pristine.

Next time you can't be bothered getting out the ironing board, try one of these alternatives…

1. Steaming
Shower steam is the classic easy option for smoothing out clothes. Why waste the heat, after all? Ensure your bathroom door is firmly closed, and hang your clothes on the shower rod without letting the water hit them. Tough wrinkles will need at least 15 minutes, so this option is best kept for when you're having a long shower. If you're getting antsy about those water charges, use kettle steam instead of a shower. Hold the wrinkled area about a foot away from the kettle spout and steam away those creases.

2. Using a hair straightener
Yup, that GHD can iron your clothes in a pinch, too! The awkward shape means this option is only good for small areas like collars, sleeves and hems but it does the job nicely. Be very careful with delicate fabrics like chiffon or lace though – the heat from your straightener will be higher than on a standard iron.

3. Tumble drying
A dryer on a medium spin will de-crease most items of clothing in around 15 minutes. Be careful not to overpack your dryer as this option works best with one or two pieces of clothing at most. Be sure to add a small amount of moisture, too. Try dampening a very small amount of fabric, such as the toe of a sock, and adding it into the dryer with your clothes. Damp dryer sheets also work here. Now, go make a cup of coffee and let the machine do the work!

4. A sprinkle of vinegar
A strange one, but it works! Fill a spray bottle with a solution made of one part white vinegar to three parts water. Shake, and mist gently over your clothes. Hang and allow to air dry. Done!

5. Blowdrying
The humble hairdryer can work wonders on creased clothing! Dampen the wrinkled area and gently dry it, ensuring you don't hold your hairdryer too close.

Life can be hard for those of us who can be somewhat awkward in certain social situations – especially the following ones!

1. Mistaking Somebody for Someone Else

You think you're talking to your friend beside you in the veg aisle about not being able to find a decent avocado in October, until you realise it's actually an old man standing beside you and he asks you what an avocado is. FML.

2. Small Talk

Your friend promises you'll know LOADS of people at the dinner party – until you arrive, realise this was a lie and spend the whole night talking to Mrs. Perky Pants.

3. Trying to Be Courteous

It's not that you're rude – quite the opposite in fact. You see a person coming down the hall and you want to keep the door open for them – but how far away is too far?

5. Trying to Be Witty
