Greg Kloehn went from selling his sculptures to wealthy art collectors to looking through rubbish, to build houses.

Greg’s Tiny House Movement uses illegally dumped rubbish to build mini mobile homes for California’s homeless. The homes are built by a team of volunteers and are waterproof and brightly coloured.

Kloehn says: “Each home is made from items found on the street, pallets, doors, refrigerator parts, paint, etc…. The only cost to me is screws, nails, glue and the gas it takes me to drive around Oakland and find the stuff on the street. I guesstimate each home to have $30-$50 US dollars in my cost.”

Not only is he helping to clean the streets, he is also providing much needed homes for people living on these streets.

Lily Allen must be one happy lady this morning as news emerges that her album is on course to be a number one.

The musician’s albums have always proved to be a hit with her fans: her first album, Alright, came in at no. 2 in 2006 while her 2009 album, It’s Not Me, It’s You came in at no.1 on the album chart.

Lily’s newest album, Sheezus, is looking as if it’s going to follow suit, and we can see why.

Her first single, Somewhere Only We Know, from the album was featured in a John Lewis advert and went straight to number one.

Well done, Lily, we bet you’re very excited about this news!

Our teen selves are freaking out right now.

There was a cast reunion for the special Clueless screening at the Los Angeles Film on Tuesday night.

Alicia Silverstone (Cher), Stacey Dash (Dionne) and Elisa Donovan (Amber) gathered with director Amy Heckerling and stylist Mona May to mark the event.

With the film’s 20th anniversary happening next year, questions have been raised about the possibility of a sequel.

“I’m game to whatever Amy has in store,” said Alicia during a recent interview.

“I think that time has passed, though. I don’t even know what Cher would be up to these days.”

We have everything crossed for this – eeeek!

After the success of Alex Chung’s first collaboration with the cosmetics company, Eyeko, Alexa has revealed that she plans on organising another eye range with the make-up company.

Alexa revealed at Sunday’s Met Ball that she was always a fan of the brand and often used Eyeko’s eyeliner long before signing a deal with the company.

“I was in London anyway, so I met up with Max and Nina (Leykind, the company’s founders) and we just immediately started brainstorming ideas for some sort of—ambassadorship, I guess you’d say. I liked the idea of focusing on just one thing—everything about eyes.”

Alexa said she was very excited about her latest line and revealed that her new collection will be out in June.

“We started out with a classic black eyeliner—and now we’re doing these new shadows, which are out in June!”

What you’ll need:

  • 120 ml pomegranate juice
  • 2-3 teaspoons raw honey
  • 200g of strawberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 3 heaped tablespoons of natural yogurt
  • 4 ice cubes

What you’ll need to do:

  1. Whisk the pomegranate juice and honey in a small bowl to dissolve the honey completely.
  2. Combine the strawberries, yogurt, ice cubes and pomegranate mixture in a blender.
  3. Process for 1–2 minutes, or until thick and smooth.

18-year-old Ireland Baldwin posted the above snap to her Instagram account yesterday with the caption: “happy cinco de mayo xx.”

She’s pictured kissing rapper Angel Haze who has appeared in a number of pictures with the model – although none so intimate as this.

Ireland recently became single after breaking up with boyfriend Slator Trout.

We’re not sure if she’s just looking forattention or if she’s actually trying to tell us something, but either way we’re glad to see she’s mending that broken heart with fun.

After his break up with Selena Gomez and rumours of an affair with a Jenner sister, Justin Bieber is not having a good week.

The singer seems to be a magnet for trouble these days and managed to get himself pulled over by a policeman in Los Angeles.

The incident happened in West Hollywood after Bieber made an unsafe turn in his Ferrari. Things went from bad to worse and he was issued a citation when the officer found out he was driving with an expired registration.

Proving what a bad boy he is and just how much he doesn’t care, Justin posted a picture of the incident to his Instagram account.

The charges have since been dropped and the case closed after the singer showed proof of a valid license and registration and paid the fine for failing to signal when turning.

Despite previous reports that Jake Gyllenhaal and Alyssa Miller had ended their six-month relationship, we definitely have our doubts after seeing this snap.

The two were spotted walking the model’s ridiculously cute pup in New York this week and looked very cosy together.

Following earlier rumours of a break-up, a source said: “Things were really good between Jake and Alyssa right up until he had to leave for L.A. to go shoot a movie [Nightcrawler] in the fall, then the distance just really got to them.”

Well there doesn’t seem to be much distance between them now.

Jake has left a number of famous hearts broken in his path, but maybe Alyssa is the one to tame him…

People may have raised an eyebrow when Mary-Kate Olsen got engaged to 44-year-old French banker Olivier Sarkozy, but let’s face it, we were all excited for an Olsen wedding.

In March, news broke of MK’s little sister Elizabeth’s engagement to her long-term boyfriend, actor Boyd Holbrook and rumours of a joint wedding began to surface.

At the recent Godzilla junket, a  journalist finally cornered the younger Olsen and asked her to put us out of our misery.

Just when you thought the Smith family couldn’t possibly cause more scandal – and definitely not in the space of 24 hours – these two things happened.

Willow kicked things off yesterday when she posted an Instagram snap of herself lying on a bed with a semi-naked 20-year-old man.

We all presumed that as parents Will and Jada would be worried/furious/appalled/etc when the picture emerged of the young teen with actor Moises Aria, but instead, things got weirder.

TMZ reported that the famous couple consider Willow to be “very mature” and once her decisions “don’t clearly cross the line,” they’re fine with what she does.

You think that picture crossed the line? Well Will and Jada actually see it as “an expression of art”.

After her parents failed to react to the snap, you’d think big brother Jaden would have something to say about the 20-year-old cuddled up with his 13-year-old sister.

Instead Jaden was photographed that evening grabbing dinner with the Hannah Montana actor.

Famous people – they really do live in their own world.
