The mammy in the friend group has a serious amount of sh** to deal with, if you do most of these things then it’s probably you…

1. You’re enthusiastic about EVERYTHING
Being the mummy of the group is all about the enthusiasm. Whenever a friend says things like  I got a new job/ boyfriend/ apartment, they will be met with an excited scream of OH MY GOD that is so GREAT, I’m soooo EXCITED for you- AHHHHH!!

emma-stone-excited2. Your handbag contains every item known to man
Your handbag has enough supplies for any situation that could possibly occur: food, make-up, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, 5 shades of lipstick, safety pins and a mini toothbrush…

 3. You know your tea
The mom of the group knows how everyone drinks their tea and can literally remember who takes half a spoon of sugar or who doesn’t take milk..

 4.  You’re fierce
Nobody messes with your friends- if anyone does they can expect a serious talking to. You don’t want to get on this girl’s bad side.

 5. You’re responsible for the Saturday night round up
Rounding everyone up on a Saturday night can be hell. John wants to go to supermax, Eva will only to to Eddie rockers, Siobhan is sitting outside crying and Dean is shifting the face of some young one in the smokers area. It’s the mum of the group’s  job to get everyone in a taxi and back home.

giphy-26. Snacks are your forte
Moms of the group always make sure no one else is hungry. When anyone comes over there is chocolate, crisps and popcorn. Hungry guests are a mom’s worst enemy.  You got this!

 7. You’re in charge of drunk naps
The mum of the group always puts everyone to bed after a night out, she also puts drunky Niamh in the recovery position.

giphy-68. You’re a die hard listener
You’ve heard your best friend go through every little detail of her past break up about 75 times and yet you still listen to her. As the mum of the group you are always listening to everyone else’s problems because you give the best advice.

giphy-5

 9. You always know the best words of encouragement
The mum of the group never loses her endearing sense of optimism. She’s the one who sends you little encouraging texts and messages and says things like  “Of course you don’t look fat” “You are DEFO going to pass that exam” “He’s an idiot not to like you”.

britneycriesandclaps_zpsb6e2e7b710. You get asked to do the dogs work
“Can you help me with my drivers licence form?”, “How do I do my tax back?”, “Will you come with me to get an STD check?” All questions you hear frequently.

Eek, this is embarrassing.

Poor Angelina Jolie suffered a somewhat major make-up fail on the red carpet last night.

Although her husband, Brad Pitt was by her side on the red carpet for the premier of The Normal Heart, he didn’t seem to notice his wife’s powdered face!

Angelina had patches of white powder all over her face which may have been highlighted by the camera flash.

The actress suffered a similar situation last week at a photo call for Maleficent but only on her legs and not too noticeable.

However, it was hard to miss the beauty faux-pas this time, we’re surprised Brad didn’t point it out.

Leg cramps can be pretty painful but do you know what to do when they happen?

There is nothing worse than getting a leg cramp in the middle of the night. Thankfully there are ways to stop it.

What causes them?
Muscle cramps can be caused by a number of things including over exercising, switching from a high heel to a low shoe, when it’s cold outside or when you are dehydrated.

How to relieve them?
The best way to stop a muscle cramp when it is happening, is to stretch and massage the muscle. Try taking a warm bath to relax the pressure or place a heat pad on it. Alternatively, an ice pack can also help. Make sure you don’t put the ice pack directly onto the skin as it could burn it. If it is still there, try walking around or leaning against the wall.

How to prevent them?
Make sure you stay well hydrated and maintain a healthy diet. Stretch everyday and before exercising. Limit the amount of caffeine you consume.

It hasn’t been too long since the “unconscious coupling” of Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow, but it looks like Chris isn’t wasting any time!

It has been reported that Chris was seen having a quiet, intimate drink with none other than style queen, Alexa Chung.

The two were spotted at a bar in Manhattan, New York, where sources say: “Chris and Alexa seemed to know each other really well … They were both in a great mood.”

Hmm, we wonder if this was just old friends catching up or perhaps an early love story in the making.

Either way, we wonder what Gwyneth will make of all of this.

Pointless emails, smelly lunches and stealing your favourite mug.

These are some of the habits which annoy us the most about our co-workers.

A recent survey revealed the things that make us want to scream into a pillow when it comes to the people we work with every day.

Others include, people stealing your lunch out of the fridge, nosy co-workers reading your emails over your shoulder, eating smelly lunches at their desk, describing their dreams and moaning about their personal life.

Some more crimes include stealing your favourite mug or pen, leaving empty wrappers in tins of sweets or not refilling the stapler

And it doesn’t end there, as colleagues who dash out of the door at 5pm on the dot also drive us nuts.

The survey of 2,000 workers was carried out by animal welfare charity The Brooke, to mark World Donkey Week.

A spokesman said, “We can all relate to the grumbles in this list.”

But these aren’t called “first-world” problems for nothing.

“Our research brings home the fact that no matter how annoying our work life can be, it doesn’t compare with the hardship suffered by working animals around the world today,” he added.

This may be something to bear in mind the next time your co-worker munches on a packet of pickled onion crisps when you’re hungover.

Aww, this is exciting news!

Destiny’s Child singer, Kelly Rowland has just revealed she has gotten married to her longtime love, Tim Witherspoon.

The ceremony reportedly took place last Friday in Costa Rica where she told US Weekly: “It was a quick, simple ceremony … only about 30 people.”

Friday was also the day her cousin, Beyoncé, uploaded a photo to her Instagram account wearing what looks like a bridesmaid dress and adding the rare caption: “Good Morning.”

The former X Factor UK star got engaged last December when Tim proposed via Skype.

Congratulations to the happy couple and this lovely news – we don’t think it will take the heat off Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Solange though…

With summer on the way, what better time to make sure that you will be at your most comfortable than by having the right support.

And thanks to Clerys special campaign Love your Lingerie, this is possible.

The department store is organising  a special free underwear fitting by underwear specialist and celebrity stylist, Maureen O’Halloran, on Thursday 22nd May.

Made in Chelsea star Binky Felsetad has revealed a dramatic new look.

The reality TV star – who is known for her brunette waves – has had a blonde-over!

The 23-year-old celebrity, who has just confirmed she will soon be heading to New York to film the upcoming MIC special, took to Instagram to share a snap of her striking new white blonde style.

Binky is channelling some serious Marilyn Monroe in this snap!

While the celebrity is said to be delighted with her new look, it may not be a permanent fixture as the blonde bombshell makeover is only for her new Rimmel campaign.

“Shooting the Rimmel campaign with @markvandelli ❤❤❤ ,” she captioned the photo.

We think she should keep it for a while, and show Alex what he’s missing!

Brazil nuts
Tasty and full of nutritional value.  Brazil nuts are tiny fat burners that can boost your metabolism by converting the thyroid hormone into its fully active state.

Chia Seeds
Don’t look the most appetising but these seeds are filled with omega-3 fats, protein and fibre which can help suppress your appetite.

Salmon Fillets
The protein in salmon has been proven to help create a toned stomach. Salmon strips can help decrease abdominal fat and the omega-3 improves insulin sensitivity which will shrink your stomach.

Oysters
Usually something you have to grow to like, but oysters only have 50 calories per six clams and is also high in zinc which again can help decrease your appetite.

Coffee
While it’s not a good idea to rely on the drink coffee too much, it has been proven that it simulates adrenaline, which then relays a message to the stored fat to in fact start burning the fat. It is a good drink to have about 20 minutes before a workout because of the energy and intensity it gives you.  But make sure its black coffee as milk can slow down the burning process.
