Love Island and Strictly Come Dancing stars have been left "shaken up" after leaving celebrity nightclub Tape just MINUTES before a triple stabbing.

Familiar faces such as Oti Mabuse, Katya Jones and Megan Barton Hanson were among those who narrowly missed the horrific attack in London’s Oxford Street in the early hours of Sunday.

It was Love Island alumni Ellie Brown's 21st birthday, which was why a host of reality TV celebrities were in attendance.

Strictly stars Oti Mabuse, Katya Jones and her husband Neil were there in order to celebrate Aljaz Skorjanec’s 28th birthday.

A Love Island source told The Sun: “They have been really shaken up and can’t help but think ‘what if’ had they left a bit later."

“Their night could have ended very differently if they had stayed at the nightclub. It has definitely prompted questions about security for some of the group.”

Oti, who is also a captain on BBC1’s The Greatest Dancer, brought Graziano Di Prima, Pasha Kovalev and Nadiya Bychkovaening to Tape following their dance performance that night.

Fellow captain Cheryl Tweedy went straight home after filming, but her dancer co-stars left Tape between 2am and 2.50am.

ITV2’s Love Island celebrities exited later, just a few minutes before the street stabbing took place at 3.40am. Laura Anderson left 15 minutes earlier while Megan Barton Hanson and Charlie Brake left at around 3.30am.

Love Island stars Zara McDermott and Ellie Brown, who celebrated her 21st birthday, exited the nightspot at roughly he same time.

Three men suffered stab and slash wounds in the chaotic attack; blood could be seen at the scene outside the pavement yesterday.

The Met Police said that all three 24-year-old men are now recovering in hospital, and their injuries are not lif-threatening. A spokesman added: “Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service.

“Two males have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon."

The near-miss for the reality TV stars comes only two months after Strictly professional dancer AJ Pritchard and his dancer brother Curtis were beaten up by eight men at a Cheshire nightclub.

The ballroom dancer later hired personal security.

Strictly’s AJ Pritchard and his brother Curtis were brutally attacked in a Cheshire nightclub.

The two boys were both home for the holidays visiting their parents’ home in Stoke-on-Trent when the incident occurred.

They decided to head out to a nightclub in Nantwich, Cheshire (a place they had frequented in the past) with a group of friends.

On the dance floor, AJ was receiving the usual attention he gets from female Strictly fans when a group of men became aggressively jealous.

The brothers believe it was this jealous rage that triggered the surprise beating.

AJ told The Sun: “We were dancing as a group and, out of the blue, Curtis was violently pushed from the side. It all happened so quickly.

“Suddenly, we were surrounded by about eight blokes. He stuck his arms out to try and stop them and moved in front of me. But we were punched and kicked from all angles.

“We had no time to defend ourselves, by the time we even put our hands up we were being punched and kicked.

“It was like a scene out of a movie, with all the aggression and violence. Nothing like this had ever happened to us before.”

Curtis saw four lads grab AJ when he quickly intervened to save his brother.

The dancing star threw himself between the thugs and AJ, taking the brute force of the attack as he was punched and kicked multiple times.

“Because my arms were down trying to protect AJ and push him back, a massive hook came at my face and hit me in the right eye,” Curtis explained.

“Seconds later a second hook came again and hit me in the same place on my right eye. That’s when my legs turned to jelly and I went down and blacked out.

“It was terrifying. I didn’t know what was happening.”

As security moved in to stop the attackers, AJ dragged his brother away from the danger.

Hit in both eyes, his nose, lips, and legs – AJ described Curtis as a swollen mess and was worried about his brother’s condition.

The only thing on Curtis’ mind was the state of his knee, he could feel the searing pain and could only hope that the injury wouldn’t end his dancing career.

The star’s fears have only worsened as plans for a knee operation have been made.

He was forced to pull out of Dancing With The Stars Ireland but is glad to have his family by his side for support.

AJ’s Strictly co-stars have sent messages of support for Curtis and the Strictly finalist, who was left with a swollen and bruised body and face.

We wish the best of luck to AJ and his brother on their road to recovery and hope the operation will save Curtis’ knee.

He made a valiant sacrifice by stepping in to save his brother.

Nah, but honestly, we couldn't be happier for the pair and they're just so cute together.

“But the eight lads took a disliking to the brothers and pushed Curtis hard. Then they started punching them, like they were possessed.

“Curtis had fallen to his knees and was being punched in the face and body. They were also punching AJ in his face, in his ribs and legs. AJ dragged Curtis out of the circle and pulled him to another part of the club,” they added.

AJ is currently recovering from severe cuts and bruises at his home. However, his brother, who is a professional dancer on Ireland’s Dancing With The Stars will need emergency surgery on his knee.

Joe Sugg continues to perform well on Strictly Come Dancing, and it’s clear to see where he gets his moves from.

His grandmother Phyllis was a talented ballroom dancer in the 1940s, often frequenting the famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

And even though Joe had no prior dance training before his time on Strictly, the dancing gene has shown itself time and time again.

Joe is close with both of his grandparents and has featured them in his hilarious and relatable Youtube videos.

In this video, his grandad is bustling around the kitchen being noisy af when Joe stops talking and zooms in on his flared nostrils.

"Am I being too noisy?" his grandad asks. And Joe replies, "No, it's fine" in that passive aggressive tone we know all too well.

But like grandparents do, they offered Joe cupcakes and all was forgiven.

And now, the 27-year-old can't wait for his grandmother to come watch his next dance with partner Dianne Buswell,

This year Strictly is deffo not short on dramz.

Fresh off the heels off the Seann Walshe/Katya Jones kiss, we now have actor Danny John Jules facing reports of bullying his dance partner, Amy Dowden.

The 58-year-old has come under fire over claims of abusive behaviour, with reports of angry outbursts taking place in the training room that had left Amy in tears.

However, now Danny has taken to social media to suggest that it is the BBC themselves that are guilty of intimidating behaviour.

Reports emerged last week that the actor had been swearing and shouting a lot at Amy during rehearsals.

Strictly bosses told Danny they would not tolerate any more bad behaviour in recent meetings.

The pair appeared on spin-off show It Takes Two to address the claims.

Amy said, ''things did get a little bit intense the other day in rehearsals. But you know what, we took a half an hour break and get back straight to it.''

She continued, ''I’ve never felt bullied or threatened by Danny I really want to get this man to Blackpool and then to the final.''

What did Danny have to say?

''I would never bite the hand that feeds me, it’s the best dance we have done in the past couple of days since we have been on the show. And I’m just happy to go along with it. She’s the boss, she wears the pants. Why would I argue with a Welsh woman?''

However, now he has hit back at the BBC, tweeting, ''#FakeNews is in the mouth of the beholder’” along with a face palming emoji.

Fans were quick to comment, some defending Danny.

One wrote, ''she said she never felt threatened by him. So how does that equate to bullying? Don’t exaggerate things! Drama queen.'

His wife, Petula, has hit out at the bullying claims, tweeting, ''wow BBCstrictlyPR and BBCstrictly are really throwing Danny John Jules under that bus…I'm in shock…why are you trying to destroy him?''

This weekend’s episode of Strictly Come Dancing was no doubt one of the most-watched episodes in the show’s history. People couldn’t help but tune in to see how comedian Seann Walsh and his professional dance partner Katya Jones performed following their kissing scandal last weekend.

Many people felt like the pair should solely be judged on their performance and it looks like their energetic Charleston won the public over because the pair managed to avoid the dance-off.

There’s no doubt the duo were stunned when Tess Daly confirmed that they had been voted into next weekend’s show.

Seann and Katya’s reaction said it all. They were truly shocked by the results.

Katie Piper and Charles Venn competed in the dance-off with campaigner Piper losing to the Casualty star.

Strictly Come Dancing has revealed the next contestant in their celebrity lineup. In a first for the show, a YouTuber will hit the Stricly dance floor this season.

Vlogger and author Joe Sugg has been confirmed as the fourth contestant.

“My knowledge of dance isn't the best, so I'm just going to go into it completely open minded,” he said.

Joe did admit that he’s feeling slightly nervous about all the tan and lycra he’ll have to wear:  “I do feel pretty nervous about it. I just hope they have child sizes as I'm tiny!”

Strictly confirmed Katie Piper as the first contestant yesterday morning.

The mum decided to take part in the show to boost her confidence: “'I think it gives a wider message, my past is irrelevant, to be able to go forward and do these things is a bigger wider message. That’s something I want to take forward, and it’s nice to be part of something so light-hearted!''

Star of stage and screen Danny John-Jules will also be hitting the dancefloor. The Red Dwarf star said he is thrilled to be taking part in the BBC show.

Joining Joe, Katie and Danny will be popstar Faye Tozer. The Steps member said being part of Strictly is a dream come true: “I’m going to relish every moment.”

Strictly will continue to reveal more contestants in the coming weeks. Rumour has it the launch show will air on Saturday, September 1.

We have to say we're kinda excited about the Irish version of Dancing With The Stars.

Kicking off on January 8 – just in time for sober nights in – after oodles of speculation it has just now been confirmed that Amanda Byram and Nicky Byrne WILL act as hosts.

With a total of 11 celebrities waltzing their way into the nation’s living rooms as they battle it out for the coveted glitterball trophy, Amanda declared this afternoon: “I am thrilled to be working on DWTS.

"For years I have been looking for the right project to bring me back to Irish TV and as soon as I was offered the role I didn't hesitate. The team and I are looking forward to entertaining the nation by combining a much loved format with a uniquely Irish spin.”

Meanwhile, 2FM presenter Nicky Byrne is of course no stranger to the ballroom having donned his dancing shoes for the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing where he made it to week ten alongside his partner Karen Clifton.

Nicky stated today: "I am absolutely thrilled to be to be co-hosting Dancing With The Stars. Having been a contestant on the UK show, I know only too well that there is simply no other show like it on TV.

"I am ready and delighted to dust off my Cuban heels and work with Amanda, the judges and all the celebs, in what I believe will be an incredibly exciting show for Irish TV".

The show will air on RTÉ One for 12 weeks from 6.30pm Sunday January 8.

The celebrity contestants be the scored by an expert panel of judges and the viewing public at home. All the contestants will be safe for the first two shows, but after that one dancer and their partner will leave the competition each week.

As fans come to terms with Will Young’s shock Strictly departure, reports are emerging which suggest that the singer may have grown “fed up” of his dance partner, Karen Clifton.

According to The Mirror, the Leave Right Now performer was struggling to deal with the workload placed on him by the dancer in the run-up to him quitting the show for “personal reasons”.

A source told the paper that the 37-year-old did not like being consistently scrutinised and as a result had “squabbled” with Karen last week during rehearsals for the show.

“Karen was just doing her job, she was training him hard but in the end he just didn’t want to keep getting told off and corrected all the time,” they said.

“It infuriated him. They squabbled a few times during rehearsals and it left him feeling exhausted. He just found the whole process too taxing and didn't think it was worth such a huge effort.”

However, the source’s claims run contrary to a statement released by the star himself on Tuesday.

When announcing he would be leaving the hit series, Will said: “I have found a creative partnership with Karen that has been the most wonderful thing to experience.”

“I will be eternally grateful to her for her direction, talent and guiding me through three wonderful dances that I will be able to show my grandkids in years to come.”

What is the key to achieving the perfect fit body? Nabbing a spot on Strictly Come Dancing obviously.

Anita Rani, who got voted out on this week's show, has never felt more body confident and is loving showing off her new figure.

"[My husband] wants us to go away over Christmas, just to disappear and have some time for the two of us," she told The Mirror.

"Normally we do activity holidays so he was like, ‘Come on, where shall we go snowboarding?’ and I said, ‘Darling, I’m not going to have a body like this ever again in my life – I want to hit a beach and sit around in a bikini’."

And one of the major perks of being body confident? Making daring outfit choices of course.

Anita wasn't afraid to show off her toned shape in a racy outfit that she wore to the Cosmopolitan Awards last week.

"I wore a wicked vintage black suit – with nothing on underneath. Before Strictly I would never have done that."

The Countryfile prwas definitely put through her paces over the last 12 weeks by her dreamy dance partner, Gleb Savchenko.

"When he’s teaching me he’s very intense."

“We’re perfectly matched as I’m the sort of person that, if I’m going to do something, I want to do it to the best of my ability."

The pair were eliminated during the quarter-finals over the weekend, losing out to Georgia May Foote, Jay McGuiness, Kellie Bright and Katie Derham.
