One Direction member pops the question over the weekend!

Niall Horan proposed to a fellow musician over the weekend – but we’re not too sure they will make it up the aisle…

The One Direction cutie took to Twitter to voice his admiration for Jessie J after her X Factor performance last night, tweeting the very blunt: “marry me!”

Unfortunately Jessie is yet to reply to the pop star, but we’re not sure it was a question from Niall as much as a declaration of love for her performance.

Then again, you never know – many the famous couple have had humble beginnings on Twitter, maybe we should watch this space!

This may be the cutest thing ever!

Demi Lovato got ‘engaged’ on stage last night after a five-year-old boy proposed to her during her concert!

Little Grant made a sign saying he had a ring for her – so she invited him on stage!

Demi then showed Grant how to propose to her and she said “I will” and we all died of cuteness.

Wilmer Valderrama (Demi’s current boyfriend) better up his game as she has already received the best proposal ever!

A marriage proposal in the most unlikely of places

You would think the least likely place for a marriage proposal would be right smack in the middle of pro-democracy protest, but not for this couple.

22-year-old Yau got down on one knee during police and protestor clashes to ask his girlfriend of two months Chen to marry him. The 21-year-old responded with a resounding yes as protesters cheered the couple.

It seems that there is always a right time to get down on one knee, with Yau saying: "I've been up all night. To begin with, I had been thinking of proposing on the 21st, but then I saw there's so many people here, so why not do it today, so that everyone can be a witness to our love."

Aw, congratulations to the newly engaged couple!

We know there are a LOT of proposal videos out there – but this one has to be up there with the best.

This vlogger has clearly been planning his proposal to hid girlfriend, Chyna, for a really long time now as he spelt the words out over a space of videos that eventually read: “Will you marry me?”

His nervousness adds to how lovely his unique proposal and he writes: “It’s been a long time coming. And I really stressed over what this video should be. But I think I came up with something that will really ring true….”

So there was a proposal on Irish radio this morning…!

Who heard (and bawled) at the beautiful proposal on Spin 103.8 this morning?!

Listeners of the station’s show, Fully Charged were in for as big a surprise as the bride-to-be this morning when a game of Whatchamacallit turned into a marriage proposal.

Rachael and Ian, from Swords in Dublin, got engaged live on air after Ian dropped to one knee.

Not only that but the couple also surprised their friends and family by announcing on air that Rachael is expecting twins!

What an exciting day for this happy couple – congrats, you guys!

Is there anything quite like the Irish proposal? The nerves, the setting, the reaction, everything! Not that we're biased or anything, like.

This man decided to propose at the Aviva Staium, but it’s the lead-up to the proposal we loved best.

This girl knew something was up and with classic quotes like: “You seem like you’ve been drinking” and “you’ve a big f***ing cheeky grin on your face,” this has to be our favourite proposal video ever!

We were getting kind of bored of Ice Bucket Challenges, until we saw this!

Justin Davidson from Manhattan, Kansas told his girlfriend Shelby Muha that he was going to help her with her Ice Bucket Challenge – but he had a few tricks (and a ring!) up his sleeve!

Watch this romantic Ice Bucket Challenge/proposal (though it gets a bit awkward from about 1.20 onwards, when you’re just watching them kiss each other for a good 20 seconds!).

It would hard not to be disappointed with the old fashioned ‘down on one knee’ proposal these days, after seeing all these creative gestures!

When Donnie McGilvray decided to propose to his girlfriend Eloise, he got a helping hand from Coca Cola.

All he did was ask her to put the milk in the fridge, and when she opened the door, this is what she saw:

We’re all for romance, but we think this Australian may have taken it a bit too far when it came to his dramatic proposal!

Nathan Humphris decided to propose to his girlfriend by sticking 1,500 post-it notes on her car.

Apparently, Nathan’s girlfriend Belinda Modra, would jokingly ask her boyfriend to tell her how much he loved her.

So Nathan decided to respond to her question by placing post-its all over her car with the message: “I love you this much”.

Belinda admitted that she was shocked initially by her boyfriend’s dramatic proposal.

“I got back to my car and sort of spotted it from a distance and knew where I parked, but thought I definitely didn’t leave it like that, I was a bit taken aback.”

But the OTT romantic gestures didn’t stop there, because when Belinda arrived at her Adelaide home, she was greeted with 500 red and white balloons in their courtyard.

After some strange instructions, Belinda eventually found Nathan for the next step of his proposal.

“Eventually I found him and he was standing there in his suit getting a bit emotional. He gave the big speech about how much he loves me, how it’s taken us a while but we got there, then he got down on one knee proposed.”

Belinda of course accepted, and the couple plan on getting hitched next year.

There are plenty of viral proposals out there, but YouTuber Jehan Ratnatunga’s is definitely our favourite by far.

Jehan wanted to propose to his girlfriend Vish in the most magical way possible. So what better way, than by wearing a Mickey Mouse costume whilst dancing to some of her favourite tunes.

Jehan showed off his moves to Beyoncé and even some Bollywood tunes, before he finally popped the question to Vish.

Of course Vish said yes. But what we want to know is how are they going to top their big day after this?

Liam Payne has went and done something super sweet and accepted a fan’s marriage proposal.

And better yet – they’re to wed at Buckingham Palace!

Liam was proposed to by 16-year-old mega fan Ellie-Mae Morgan, who suffers from a rare brain condition.

The One Direction boys were taking part in a Q&A for the Rays of Sunshine charity, when Ellie’s mum Sam said, “Ellie would like to know whether Liam is available for marriage?”

To which big-hearted Liam replied, “I am currently available for marriage. I will see you tomorrow. We’ll have it at Buckingham Palace.”

Sam later said, “Ellie had just the best day ever. She didn’t stop smiling.

“They are all really lovely boys and just normal lads.”

Just too cute for words!
