Kim and Kanye – the love story: he popped the question just months after her divorce from Kris Humphries had been finalised.

Surrounded by their close friends and family, the intimate and special moment was, of course, captured by the Keeping Up With The Kardashian cameras.

Significantly, however, it was a milestone that wasn’t shared with viewers until February 2014 – a full four months after the event actually took place.

So understandably when unauthorised footage of the proposal was leaked online via video-sharing platform MixBit, the couple was furious.

Still, today they both can be a little less irate: they’ve been given €390,000 in compensation by Chad Hurley, the founder of YouTube and MixBit, and the man who captured the incident.

TMZ reports that Kimye had claimed in legal documents that Mr Hurley had manipulated his way into AT&T Park in San Francisco back in October 2013 to witness Kanye's proposal.

And even though he signed a confidentiality agreement, Chad still secretly recorded the video, later posting it to his site.

The West’s lawyer, Eric George, claimed that the web entrepreneur was desperate to make his then just launched video-sharing company a success: he’s a multi-millionaire following the sale of YouTube to Google in 2006 for €1.45bn, but he’s since struggled to replicate that with another online winner.

Mr Hurley now only has a few days to cough-up the six-figure sum, though MixBit pays him an annual salary of €4m and he’s worth €315m on the back of the YouTube sale, so we reckon he won't be too hard up afterwards.

An American woman was queuing at the Eiffel Tower a week ago when she spotted a man on the verge of proposing to his girlfriend.

Jen Hurd Bohn subequently took some seriously romantic pictures of the couple as he popped the question – thankfully she said yes, and they kissed and hugged in celebration.

Jen afterwards took to Facebook to share her observation – with the snaps now going viral in the hope that the husband-and-wife-to-be can be found.

Ms Hurd Bohn captioned her Facebook post: "Saw this guy propose to this girl on the Eiffel Tower Sunday 6/21/15 wanted to send them the pics but was stuck in line. Help me find them!"

Jen commented on the post guessing they were too from America "I want to at least try!

"I've got friends across the country and, by their clothes, I'm guessing they're from the US. Somebody knows somebody who was in Paris last week and got engaged…"

This Facebook post has now been shared thousands of times and has even featured on news stations across America.

We hope they are found soon!

You’ve made it through the ceremony without a hitch.

Your dress, which took you months to source, has been inundated with compliments and showered with admiration.

And every so often, you can’t help but glance with pride at your new husband.

In short, your Big Day is going swimmingly – you’re overjoyed.

Until, that is, one of your guests marches up towards the top table, gets down on one knee mere metres from where you and the groom are seated, and proposes to his already squealing girlfriend.

A few gathered invitees whip out their phones to capture the moment, and a few more break into awkward applause.

You’re simmering with fury, but all you can do is grin and bear; smiling through the intense anger.

This scenario may seem implausible – but for one seemingly unsuspecting bride and groom, this is an incident they were recently forced to endure on their own wedding day.

The moment has since been shared on Reddit, garnering some 3.7m viewers and more than 1,500 comments.

And understandably, the online reaction has largely sided with the newlyweds.

"This is up there with my uncle giving my cousins a puppy at my birthday party," remarked one user. "That's the saddest thing I've ever heard," another uttered sympathetically.

"That is the f***ing definition of 'stealing my thunder' right there," someone else stated. "Her smiles says 'congratulations', her eyes say 'that b***h'," one user wrote.

A minority, however, failed to see the issue: "Why is this a problem?" one asked. "It's supposed to be a happy night and this would make the bride happy if she was her sister etc."

It is believed that the event took place at a recent wedding in the US, though the bride and groom remain unidentified.

The newly-engaged couple have also yet to declare themselves publicly.

Now if this isn't dedication, then we're really not sure what is!

When Dean decided he wanted to marry the love of his life, Jennifer, he knew he was going to have to do it with some style.

So, taking 365 days from the day of his decision (Jennifer's birthday) he wrote on a board EVERY DAY before showing it to her in Aruba with her friends and family there.

When the video tell her to turn around…be prepared to BAWL.

It’s finally happened…there has been a Fifty Shades of Grey proposal! As the movie was released on Valentine’s Day, it seems only natural for this couple to get engaged at the cinema!

Nick and Leigh have been together for EIGHT years and now Nick has decided the time is right to ask her to be his wife.

And what better way to do that than to take her completely by surprise with his own trailer before the movie starts? Needless to say, Leigh is completely taken by surprise and it’s just so, so lovely.

Enjoy!

A couple who got engaged at Cork’s Fota Wildlife Park have seen their sweet story go viral over the last two days.

Grace Fanning, an Irish naval officer, dropped to one knee to propose to her girlfriend of seven years, Carol Brady. The beautiful moment Carol said yes was caught on camera and the photos were posted by Fota, who have claimed them to be their most liked post so far! We can't say we are surprised by that!

The proposal took place in front of the giraffes, Carol’s favourite animal and Grace has said they are delighted with the reaction: “It was fairly emotional alright but the reaction has been incredible.” Such a sweet story – apparently even the ladies' tour guide, Leslie cried!

The couple hope to tie the knot in 2016 following this year’s same-sex marriage referendum.

Who doesn’t love a spontaneous festive proposal?! No one, that’s who!

So, massive props to Jonathan Carroll for making our day and indulging our romantic side by proposing to his girlfriend at Dublin airport.

Jonathan is currently living in the US and in a very happy relationship with his American girlfriend Mary Francis Turner.

The pair are so happy in fact, that Jonathan decided to ask the lovely Mary to be his wife live on Ryan Tubridy’s 2fm show which was being recorded in the airport!

Upon arriving in Dublin to visit her other half’s family for the festive season, Mary was met by Jonathan who got down on one knee and said: “Mary, I love you so much and it would mean the world to me if you would marry me.” Stop, we can’t cope!

Organised Jonathan had even done the traditional thing and asked Mary’s mother’s permission before the big proposal.

An overjoyed Mary said she was ‘overwhelmed’ and her shocked initial response to the big question was: “No. I mean yeah!”

We think there’ll be some serious celebrating in the Carroll household tonight!

It looks like Nick Grimshaw of Radio One fame really knows how to create a romantic atmosphere for his guests if today's announcement is anything to go by!

Interviewing Andy Jordan and co-star Binky Felstead of hit reality TV show Made in Chelsea, Nick was witness to the first MIC marriage proposal!

Discussing the longevity of the show as well as the romantic up and downs experienced by most cast members, the 30-year-old host suggested that Andy and Binky should tie the knot, and neither were too thrown by the suggestion either!

Andy told the stunning brunette: "I would marry you. Of all the girls on the show I think I would marry Binky first. Oh my god, should I propose on Radio 1? Binky, I've been thinking about this for a while and I'd like to marry you. Will you be my wife?"

We're sure listeners were on the edge of their seats waiting to hear her response, so may have been a little disappointed by the 24-year-old's nonplussed reply of " Ah yeah, go on then."
It's still a yes though, right?

The 24-year-old went on to serenade his wife-to-be with a rendition of his recent song 'Flirty'.

Ok, so we know they were ony messing around, but we think there may be more to this than meets the eye as the pair looked very cosy before going live-on-air with Andy placing kisses on Binky's cheek while also indulging in one or two selfies together, and Andy HAS been saying he's on the look-out for love.

Watch this space.

It seems that Sean Bean truly is a believer in love (and marriage!)

The Game of Thrones actor is reportedly set to walk down the aisle for a fifth time after it was rumoured he is engaged to his 29-year-old girlfriend, Ashley Moore.

The actor has previously said that marriage clearly wasn’t for him – but it looks as if Ashley may have changed his mind: “Of course I believe in love. There is nobody who doesn’t believe in love. But marriage – that fits some people but obviously not me.”

The couple are said to be living together in Sean's London home and it sounds as if things may be moving onto the next level.

Sean’s last marriage to Georgina Sutcliffe ended in 2010 so perhaps the actor is ready to try out married life once again four years later.
