We haven’t much from Matt Damon in a while. Probably because the 44-year old movie star has been busy working on his new movie The Great Wall.

Matt was on hand to discuss his new film role today and while doing so, he debuted a new look.

Matt is now sporting his very own pony tail.

Not willing to battle it out with our Instagram favourite Brock then?

Nope. Matt seems pretty content to be sporting his new pony. We’re assuming the longer than usual hair style is for a movie role.

Considering Matt lives in a house of five females, he’s probably got some pretty good experience with both the bun and the pony tail style. We’re excited about this fashion evolution.

Now that his good friend Ben Affleck is moving out of his home following his divorce from wife of 10 years Jennifer Garner, the duo can spend some time working on the man braid?

The internet is having a tough time digesting this latest piece of sartorial news.

Matt was joined at the press conference by Chinese actress Jing Tian and director Zhang Yimou along with his co-stars Andy Lau and Game of Thrones alum Pedro Pascal.

The Great Wall is set to be one the highest-budget films ever in China. We’re curious if part of that has to do with the added funds needed for Matt’s hair stylists.

At the conference Matt seemed pretty excited about his new role saying "this is the biggest movie I’ve ever been involved with."

Matt was also insistent that the cast had no issues with the language barriers while creating the film telling reporters “It's the same discipline and it moves across cultures and languages pretty easily.”

Matt Damon has acted out plenty of iconic roles in his time, but none are as memorable as Jason Bourne.

It seems that the actor agrees, as Matt has recently revealed that our favourite action star could be returning to our screens a lot sooner then we thought.

Matt Damon said he would love to play the character of Jason again, if director Paul Greengrass was interested too.

“I’ve always been open to it if Paul Greengrass is the director and… we’ve just never been able to come up with a story. It felt like such a good way to end it the last time, but having said that I love that character… and I’d love to see what happened to him.”

We hope this is true, because as much as we loved The Bourne Legacy film in 2012, nothing can really compete with Matt Damon’s own Jason Bourne.

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck have been taking digs at each other for the past two weeks – but it’s all for a good cause.

The best friends are trying to raise money for their two charities, East Congo Initiative and Water.org.

While filming to promote the charities the two just couldn’t seem to get along – take a look, it’s so funny.

Ben has been using Matt’s absence on Twitter to his advantage and recruiting Jimmy Kimmel in his public roasting of poor Matt, posting tweets, such as: “Matt you there? Right. We will fax you”, “Matt is prob too scared to get on twitter because no one likes him” and our personal favourite: “We’ve printed out this tweet, placed in a suitcase that we’ll courier to Matt.”

Meanwhile, Matt Damon, not missing a beat in the spat, decided to fax Ben and Jimmy Kimmel a picture of his bare bum.

Boys, eh?

Talking to reporters at the London premiere of Monuments Men, George Clooney said it was really hard to get Matt Damon to the set because he “drinks a lot”.

George is not usually one to be mean about his friends but he went on to add that the 43-year-old was the most difficult to work with on a daily basis.

He said: “It is hard to get him out of the trailer sometimes. I don’t like to use the word ‘diva’ or throw that around, but you know what I am saying.”

Now before you get all stroppy and defensive about the poor Matt, George was actually only joking – he really is a big kid at heart and he is well known for his prankster ways.

When he was filming Ocean’s Twelve with Brad Pitt, the 52-year-old stuck bumper stickers on Brad’s car.

One sticker said “Small Penis on Board” and according to Matt Damon:  “People were honking at him and waving and he thinks it’s because he’s Brad Pitt and he’s waving back”.

The three celebs sound like they have the best fun ever.

We have some bad news for George Clooney fans – the lovable actor has said “No” to Twitter.

Twitter-stalking celebrities is just as popular as Facebook-stalking your social circle, but unfortunately, we won’t be able to add the silver fox to our list of stalkees anytime soon.

Talking to Variety, the Monuments Men star said he wouldn’t have a Twitter account for fear of saying “something stupid” after a couple of drinks. He added: “I also don’t think you need to be that available.”

His revealed that his mates – Brad Pit and Matt Damon, no less – won’t be joining the social media site either.

The actor said: ”I don’t see Matt or Brad or myself wanting to get our thoughts out in a 140-character-thing at three in the morning. God forbid, you take a sleeping pill and wake up and the sentences don’t even make sense. What a horrible idea.”

Clooney has previously voiced his thoughts on the site, saying: “anyone who is famous is a moron if they’re on Twitter. It’s just stupid.”

Not sure the folks at Twitter will be pleased to hear this, George.

A new comedy-drama directed and co-written by Clooney, The Monuments Men is based on true events in history and a book called The Monuments Men: Allied Heroes, Nazi Thieves and the Greatest Treasure Hunt in History (that rolls off the tongue…) by Robert M. Edsel.

The movie also stars Bill Murray and John Goodman, so it sounds like it’s going to be one to watch.
