The opening bars of All I Want For Christmas are enough to send most people into a festive frenzy.

While Fairytale of New York will always (and understandably) take first place in our hearts, Mariah Carey's classic hit comes in a very close second place.

Widely considered one of the most popular Christmas tracks of modern times, the song, which debuted in 1994, ensures Mariah will be kept in diamonds for years and years to come.

Raking in approximately £376,000 for the singer each year, All I Want For Christmas is (quite literally) the song that just keeps on giving.

And let's be honest –  for a stomper like that, she deserves every penny.

We can't get enough of Carpool Karaoke these days, as Jame's Cordon's star studded videos keep getting better and better.

From the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Lady Gaga and Michelle Obama, everyone who's anyone has rode shotgun with the British comedian. 

Now, the queen of Christmas Mariah Carey will be starring alongside James in a festive special edition of the video series. 

As well as the dulcet tones of Mariah, the video also features some of the year's best Carpool Karaoke guests, all contributing to what could be considered the ultimate rendition of All I Want For Christmas Is You. 

Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez,Adele and many more all chime in for the Christmas edition.

While we feel  #blessed to have been bestowed with this serenade of stars, we can't help but think how odd James must have looked, filming in October with a Christmas tree and presents adorning his car.

Less than two months after she split with her billionaire fiancé, it looks like Mariah Carey has moved on.

The singer has been fuelling the romance rumours when she was spotted getting cosy with back-up dancer Bryan Tanaka.

But the 46-year-old has now confirmed her new relationship by putting on a very public display of affection in Hawaii on Monday.

The pair were seen messing around on the beach together, and Bryan even pulled out a few moves to impress Mariah (and the photographers).

Bryan has been touring with Mariah for years now, so it seems this romance could have been brewing for a while.

From her high profile split with billionaire James Packer to the shade she received from singer Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey hasn’t had it easy these past few months.

And just as the hype surrounding the once celebrated star turns towards her new makeup collection, Mariah has been criticised for photoshopping her Thanksgiving photos.

Last week, the 46-year-old New Yorker shared a series of images of herself preparing for the American holiday on Instagram, one of which caught the eye of some very observant fans.

The picture shows the popstar standing in a plunging white bodysuit and distressed pair of jeans while holding a pie in one hand and a can of cream in the other.

Mariah’s followers were quick to call her out for digitally manipulating the shot, using tell-tale signs like a strange indent by her upper arm and a warped cabinet door behind one leg as proof of the offence.

“All that money she got and nobody could photoshop her correctly,” wrote one social media user.

“Mariah Carey was grateful for photoshop on Thanksgiving,” quipped another.

After teasing it for more than a year, Mariah Carey's holiday collection is nearly here.

And trust us, it's everything you imagined: sparkle, glitter and diamonds.

The collection is absolutely perfect for Christmas; gold and bronze eye shadows, sparkly lipstick and a smashing bronzer – we're even in love with the glitter packaging.

The singer took to Twitter to share the glimpse of her new range.

Mariah Carey has reportedly been dumped by her billionaire fiancé, James Packer, after a disagreement about her extravagant spending habits and new reality show.

According to Woman’s Day, the Australian businessman left the 46-year-old singer after falling out over her plans to expose their lifestyle on her new reality show, Mariah’s World.    

“It’s all over,” a family friend alleged.  “James had huge reservations about Mariah’s new reality TV show and the fact that she was willing to expose their lives to the world.”

The site states that 49-year-old James allowed Mariah to keep the $10 million diamond engagement ring her gave her in January this year after a whirlwind romance.

Those close to the Packer family are said to be unsurprised by the news as they have reportedly had reservations about the relationship since its inception last year.

A source said: “James is very generous but Mariah takes it to the next level.”

In a recent interview with Elle magazine, Miley Cyrus revealed that she has some problems with Mariah Carey.

Miley made it clear that she is not a fan of the way Mariah performs her music. 

“That’s part of what makes her a gay icon; like, it’s about Mimi! It’s about what she’s wearing, and it’s about her."

"What I make isn’t about me. It’s about sharing my story; it’s about someone being connected to what I’m saying” she continued.

Mariah has not responded to these digs made by the 23-year-old musician, but we are interested to see what she thinks.

According to reports emerging Stateside, Mariah Carey's sister has been arrested for prostitution in New York.

Alison A Carey, who has been estranged from the Hero singer for a number of years, was the subject of a sting operation after police investigated allegations that the 55-year-old had been prostituting herself out of a Saugerties hotel.

According to Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra, Alison identified herself as the sister of the award-winning performer – a claim which was confirmed after authorities investigated Carey's background.

It has been established that Alison uses lyrics from her sister's smash-hit songs in her online ads – postings which helped police track down Mariah's sister over the weekend.

Authorities have warned anyone who believes they may have a sexual encounter with Alison to seek medical attention.

Mariah's sister, who is due in Saugerties Town Court tomorrow, was sent to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.

We'd play Beyoncé all day every day if we could.

From her Bootylicious back catalogue to her current chart-toppers, there's always time for a visit from the queen.

Unless you're Mariah Carey, that is.

According to reports emerging Stateside, Mariah had a mini meltdown when her fiancé, James Packer, decided to use a little Bey to create a romantic atmosphere in their home.

The Fix claims that James was left red-faced whe he realised his fiancée had no intention of being seduced to the sounds of a rival artist.

"Mariah threw the computer that was playing it via speakers out the window," a source told the website this week.

And her 1980s rockstar strop didn't stop there, as The Fix continues: "Seriously, she just trashed it. She ran out of the room screaming."

Mariah's meltdown, unsurprisingly, brought the evening to an end, with the source adding: "So the night was obviously finished for James, and they retreated to separate parts of the house. And she had a few glasses of wine to cool down."

Mariah Carey is used to being the centre of attention and she poses up a storm when it comes to, well… anything. 

However, her fiancé James Packer looks like he still needs to get used to being in the spotlight.

The couple enjoyed a "festive" meal in Italy during the week, where Mariah donned a very racy outfit and didn't mind showing it off to the cameras.

A cake was presented to the pair at the restaurant, and while the singer bounced around to look good at every angle, James just looked totally awkward and fed up.

To be fair he kept a smile on his face, but his eyes totally gave him away. He looks at the cake, then to the ground, back at the cake again and does just about anything to avoid eye-contact with all the people and the cameras around him.

Mariah shared the video on Instagram, where she's also seen grabbing James so he'll kiss her… and it's all just so cringey.

Watch, laugh and feel very, very sorry for him.

There’s nothing we love more than getting some juicy behind-the-scenes goss from our favourite chatshow hosts.

Who was the biggest diva? Who had the biggest rider? You know, the classics.

So, when James Corden sounded like he was about to spill about a Carpool Karaoke guest recently, we held our breaths and wondered if we’d be right in thinking Mariah Carey lived up to her legendary rep.

And ladies, we WERE right.

According to The Late Late Show host, the One Sweet Day singer rocked up on the big day and announced that she just wasn’t feeling the music section of the segment, and suggested that herself and James just shoot the breeze instead.

Understandably stunned, James told Howard Stern that he had to just run with it anyway, saying: “I just thought ‘I’ve just got to go. I’ve just got to jump into it’.”

“Even if this bit is just me singing to Mariah Carey, it’s still on the show,” he reasoned.
