Keep calm, the new season of Game of Thrones is coming, and we are really, really excited about it.

With that in mind, we got even more amazing news regarding our favourite show ever…

There is a new beer in town, and it is inspired by Game of Thrones.

The Bend The Knee Golden Ale is 9.0% alcohol, so if you drink enough you may genuinely think you're in Westeros.

The company behind this glorious brew is Brewery Ommegang, and we are so grateful for their imagination.

According to the product description, this new drink is "brewed with pils malt and flaked oats and hopped with Saaz, Bravo, and Styrian Golding hops. It pours a golden hue with a large, frothy head."

So that all sounds good… right?

Anyway, Tyrion Lannister would LOVE this, and so do we.

What a year it has been for redheads so far, and its only January!

A few weeks ago, we learned that there were ginger emojis on the cards, and now we learn that there is a special magazine coming out, solely for redheads.

MC1R is an all-ginger magazine, and the brainchild of 31-year-old Tristan Rodgers, a student from Hamburg.

The concept started started out as a photography project, but Tristan decided to give a few copies out as gifts to the people who'd helped him put the project together.

Tristan decided to try crowd-funding the magazine, due to it's popularity, and he began to notice a huge demand.

Two years later, and MC1R has just released its fifth issue, and we're delighted.

The pages of the magazine are filled with beautiful editorials, made up of stunning redheads.

If you're auburn-haired and like the sound of this groovy mag, you can get a copy of MC1R here for €16.

Ashley Benson is literally our Queen, from her spot-cream selfies, to her serious hair inspiration… we can't fault her.

The best part about the PLL star is the fact that she's so relateable, and we kind of just want to be her best mate.

The stunner recently revealed the products she uses to get that flawless, glowing skin… and its a brand you can buy in chemists.

Ashley uses Differin, which used to be a prescription acne treatment, but can now be bought over the counter (and online!).

The best part? This glorious product won't break the bank at all, and only costs a tenner for the spot cream.

Differin contains a spot fighting ingredient called retinoid adapalene, which will leave you looking GORGEOUS.

Can you swim in it, please?

Man's best friend has never had more meaning… EVER.

Lily Cardone and her family have a 10-year-old dog called Sebastian.

The Cardones have had this cutie since he was 9 months old, so he is a real member of the family at this stage.

Sebastian recently had surgery on his ACL, and Lily's father was truly concerned about his canine BFF.

According to Buzzfeed, Lily's dad sends his wife flowers all the time, so when a bunch of roses arrived everyone assumed they were a romantic gift.

HOWEVER… the flowers were for Sebastian, and came with a card that read: “Sebastian, Feel better, you’ll be back in the game very soon. Love, Daddy."

Could you just DIE?

Lily shared pictures of the flowers on Twitter, along with amazing shots of Sebastian checking out his gifts… and the Internet couldn't handle it.

Thousands of retweets later, Sebastian has become somewhat of an Internet sensation!

Not that any of us needed an excuse to enjoy an evening of cheese and wine, but these shot glasses are DELICIOUS.

Cheese shot glasses are a thing, and we cannot believe we're only figuring this out now…

The best part? You can make them at home, and they're easy to create.

What you'll need:

2 pounds cheddar cheese

Silicone shot glass mould

Wine (a lot of it!)

What you'll do:

Grate the cheddar cheese into a bowl.

Microwave cheddar cheese in 30-second intervals for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, until the cheese is melted, but not burnt.

Pour cheese into silicone shot glass moulds and press in gently.

Let set at least 30 minutes until firm. Remove from the mould and serve with wine of your choice.

Last week, Kylie Minogue confirmed that she had split up from her fiance, British actor Joshua Sasse (sad face).

While her relationship may have ended, Kylie also received some good news this week, regarding her name.

The I Should Be So Lucky singer has won a legal battle against makeup mogul and reality star, Kylie Jenner.

Back in 2014, Kylie Jenner applied to trademark her name in the US, sparking an obvious conflict for Miss Minogue.

Kylie Minogue's legal team sent a list of reasons why her name should not be trademarked, describing King Kylie as a "secondary reality television personality"… YIKES.

Anyway, this week we learned that Kylie Jenner's application for trademark was REJECTED, and she has already lodged an appeal.

We wonder if Kris, the momager, will get involved in this legal debacle.

Much like #JustDublinThings, #OnlyInDublin is and ode to the specific way of life enjoyed by Dubliners, be they native residents or those who have adopted the county as their own.

Dubliners and those travelling through have taken to Twitter under the hashtag to showcase the most weird and wonderful things they have discovered in this fair city.

Here's a few of our favourites:

1. Gotta tell it like it is…

 2. The great Irish hot chicken roll culture will never die. NEVER!

 3. A premium level of intoxication?

 4. F*** your Honda Civic?

5. Desperate times…

6. I'd say he needed a tetanus shot after swimming in that water.

7. Ah, that takes us back to the primary school days.

8. Well when your legs are tired…

If you are on the hunt for a fresh new hair colour, why not try out navy locks?

Less maintenance than a bright aqua and a touch more interesting than it's close cousin black, navy hair is our new Instagram obsession.

It may sound kind of out-there, but we did some digging, and navy hair is super popular on the social media platform.

A photo posted by Mary  Rose (@thehairbutcher) on

It is definitely a daring shade, but compared to the likes of unicorn hair and rainbow hair, it's a subtle take on alternative style.

And luckily, it looks amazing on any skin tone.

Celebrities like Katy Perry and Kylie Jenner have rocked navy hair, ao we have them to thank for the ultimate hair inspiration.

The best part of this colour is that it doesn't involve massive up-keep, which is good news for those of us who cant be arsed to hit the (dye) bottle every other week.

From the most subtle sheen to full on navy blue, this hair colour is destined to freshen up tired, wintery locks.

The Citizen's Assembly is in talks today discussing Ireland's stance on abortion.

Today's meeting is the third of four that will focus on how the 100 randomly selected members should advise government legislators later this year, on the future of the Eighth Amendment to the Constitution.

Today, the members raised the issue that among the randomly selected 300 public submissions (out of the 13,500 received) which are being heard, there is a lot of repetition, particularly regarding people's religious stance in regards to abortion, which is not relevant to their deliberations.

The assembly heard the details of Irish women's abortion choices, with Irish women being more likely to have a surgical abortion in the UK than a medical abortion, according to the Irish Times.

This is because a surgical abortion can be carried out in a day, while a medical abortion, in which the woman takes abortion pills, requires an overnight stay.

According to Dr Patricia Lohr, the director of the British Pregnancy Advisory Service, which is one of the leading providers of abortions for Irish women, Irish women procure an abortion on average one week later than UK based women, due to the necessity to travel.

Another issue raised at this weekends assembly is the possibility of extending Ireland's abortion laws to accept rape as an acceptable reason to procure an abortion.

Tom O'Malley, a senior NUIG law lecturer, told the Citizens' Assembly that it would be impractical to have to wait for Gardai to prove that a rape had occurred and secure a conviction to allow for an abortion in the case of rape, as the conviction process can take up to three years, said RTE.

The assembly also heard that  3,451 women from Ireland travelled for an abortion in 2015, with 135 of these due to a foetal abnormality.

While the winter sales we're pretty fab, spring is officially here and we're ready to embrace the new season.

Luckily high street bargain store Penneys is behind us on this one, and its new collection is ticking all of the trend boxes.

Denim jacket €23

From ruffles (like this festival-worthy denim jacket) to gingham and metallics, Penneys is giving our wardrobes an affordable spring update.

This denim jacket will keep us cool in the summer. but will look pretty cool teamed with an oversized hoodie while the weather is still pretty abysmal.

Trousers €16. Crop top €13

Sporty trousers make for an edgy work wear look when teamed with the right pieces.

Cool and comfortable, these wide legged racer striped trousers can be paired with a white shirt or black jumper for day time, and then switched up with this gingham crop and heels for evening.

The gingham print is making us dream of lunches in the park and mild spring time evenings (this February rain can only last so long, right?).

Jeans, €19

The Kardashians and Instagram fashion gurus alike have been championing the ripped jeans and fishnet tights look for months now, and Penneys has listened to the demand for some seriously shredded jeans.

Pair with a set of fishnet tights for an on-trend look, or dare to bare your pins as the sun starts to shine.

Great Gatsby party, anyone? This crushed velvet gúna is a nod to the 90s with it' spaghetti straps, but we can totally picture Daisy Buchanan sipping a cocktail in this party dress.

The asymmetrical hem will draw attention to your lower half, so a killer pair of heels is a must.

Speaking of throw-back style, this ice white blazer is an epic nod to the 80s trend that's been seen on all of the S/S catwalks this season.

 Mules €14

Mules aren't going anywhere for spring, and Penneys is giving this pair a major over haul with a metallic silver finish.

From the board room to the bar, these Gucci-esque beauties will fly off the shelves.

Backpack €15, Handbag €12

Obviously we need a brand new backpack to fit all of our Valentine's Day presents into (not), and this quilted baby looks roomy enough for college books or overnight travel essentials.

As for handbags, this metallic embellished beauty will go perfectly with those silver mules.

See you in the queue ladies!

There are few beauty products out there that truly confuse us, but when we stumbled across this nifty invention, we were a tad baffled

Is it an air freshener? Is it an alien egg?

Or even a fancy AF cheese grater?

A photo posted by Blenderelle (@blenderelle) on

If you are a fan of the beloved beauty blender, then this nifty, if odd looking, little case could be the answer to all your beauty blender problems.

We have often fished our blender out of our less-than-pristine makeup bags, only to find it smeared with eye shadow or with flecks of lip liner staining it's porous surface.

And then there's the whole dampening and drying protocol, like do we leave these things on the radiator all day or what?

A photo posted by Blenderelle (@blenderelle) on

After some pretty gory beauty blender horror stories circling the internet about mould and fungus growing inside the blending sponges due to damp, poorly ventilated conditions, indie brand Blenderelle came up with a solution to our very first world problem.

"Black spots or odour are almost a positive sign bacteria has grown inside your favorite little friend," says the Blenderelle Instagram page.

"Proper ventilation when stored or travelling can help to avoid that unwanted bacteria."

A photo posted by Blenderelle (@blenderelle) on

The little cages protect the sponges from gathering dirt and debris in your makeup bag, and they claim to properly ventilate the blenders to prevent bacteria growing within. *shudder*

That's a pretty nifty little beauty hack if you ask us.
